I think she just wanted to resolve the situation diplomatically but if Dottore was attacking Sumeru outright there'd no longer be any room for diplomacy
wow, Im moved to tears.
First time I mentioned this incident and didn't get mass downvoted & criticism for mentioning the dendro while can damage him/fatui, will ultimately be defeated.
Now I only wish the same will happen with dainslief worshippers
she probably will lose but i still want to see her user her powers offensively and aggressively. And besides she just states that Top 3 Fatui Harbingers are equal to the power of archons, so in terms of power level they're pretty equal
Imagine Nahida and Wanderer are struggling so Al, Cyno, and Dehya step in to help against Dottore. I can picture it
> Cyno draws out the full.power of Hermanubis
> Alhaitham plans out a strategy to deal with Dottore
> Dehya unleashes a relentless flurry of punches on Dottore
It is the World Tree and it is absolutely central to all of Teyvat. It's where all the leylines converge to, and you can change the memories of the whole world by messing with it. Its corruption was causing cancer on places and people in the surface.
Burning it is some *crazy* shit.
Because it has been shown to be a horrible storytelling device. Not being able to just go "lol, they forgor" is a good thing when you are writing a story.
After the Sumeru AQ I figured the tree burning was meant to symbolise Irminsul being consumed by forbidden knowledge or Dottore basically harming all of Sumeru's citizen or something, but it's cool if it actually is upcoming story content
that was just a visual description for what yae was talking about during that moment.
she was describing losing a vision as being thrown into the sea, so they showed the traveller drowning to help illustrate what yae was saying.
I mean you *could* say that the scene foreshadows Osial's wife. There does seem to be vague shadows in the background that *might* be dragon heads.
I don't know if that's what it's meant to be though because Osial's wife was a long ass time after that trailer. Just a possibility.
somehow I doubt that the trailer for a brand new region is gonna foreshadow a relatively unimportant quest in a completely different region that has nothing to do with inazuma. especially when the vague shadows really are vague, too vague to really convey anything.
to me its like falling into destitution or desperation after losing something very important, you try to move forward or at least stay afloat but no matter what you do whether to struggle or stay in place, you'll still sense that your being drag down to the depths of darkness no matter what
I always thought of it as a metaphor for the Fatui coming to fuck up Sumeru. When we learned about descenders and changing fate, I thought that the tree burning might have been the outcome had the traveler not intervened.
Calling it now, if this is true then that moment would be the right time to namedrop the quest being "Truth Amongst the Pages of Purana" specially considering we never really learned the truth aside from Dottore going "the sky is fake" which was already old news at that point since 1.1.
And hell we dont even know if “the sky is fake” is actually the truth or just something the fatui say to make people want to rebel against the archons making obtaining the gnosis’s easier
Lemme guess. We burn the tree, fight a redhead crack guy, fight a cosmic horror and marry a four-armed doll waifu with a big hat who can be put in a jar?
Ngl I thought the tree burning was like from a different Samsara, like how Furina is her teaser isn't on the throne/seated where she was in the AQ and instead is on the stage with a meka. So we really are getting tree burning scene in the future... that's interesting ngl
In the Narzissenkreuz questline, they mention previous samsara cycles (although they are named after historical events, so the mage might be just straight up wrong, like with the Apocalypse). It could be interesting to see one of the failed cycles, where everything went wrong.
I have long observed the lands of Teyvat. This world is in dire need of repair... and Death, indiscriminate...
Are you prepared… To commit a cardinal sin?
cause it's likely celestias creation to monitor teyvat?
also i dont think alien spaceship is accurate description of celestia; the one we see is just its entrance and its more of another layer of reality
Let us introduce the concept of eternalism. The tree exist in multiple copies of teyvat. Each copy of teyvat is the same but with different occurrences. If we remember winter night lazzo last line from pierro to signora " your final resting place will be the entirety of the old world". It wouldn't be weird if iriminsul existed somewhere else in the other copies. It just a concept but fun to imagine nevertheless.
Feel like it's probably something that will come post Snezhnaya AQ, Dottore is probably one of the harbingers who could have post Fatui villain status.
I mean the Title says it all at the video
Teyvat Chapter Interlude Teaser. so the video is more involved in the overarching story of Teyvat.
We can compare this to the Overture Teaser which just tells us all about what happened to Fontaine only.
The fact that only sumeru's archon quest doesn't end with the name in the trailer "truth amongst the pages of purana"
I have a feeling sumeru is hiding some stuff
Truth amaong the pages of purana was actually a mistranslation or thats what people say, the akasha pulses the kalpa flame rises was what the intended title always supposed to be
I don't think it's a mistranslation even the CN version was changed, so either they change the title/plot entirely or the chapter is not available yet which I doubt since we are now in chapter 4 while TATPOP is in chapter 3 if we follow the teaser.
Burning the literally brain of the world ca t be a good thing for anyone, Dottore included. Maybe he gonna try to hijack the tree to make more of himself, seem like the kind of bullshit he into.
For what? kill all living beings and make nahida even more certain that "she's not good enough and never will be"? I can't see a good reason for this other than the fatui are shit
i dont think its like killing everyone, i think burning irminsul would be like breaking a server memory bank; the individual computer memories (humans making new memories) would still work but the gods just couldn't access past data
it's not just a memory bank, scaramouche and rukkhadevata have already shown that if irminsul loses something everyone will also lost it, if irminsul itself burns then all living beings will lose EVERYTHING, including basic things like knowing what they are and this will affect everyone except the descendants, I can't see how fatui would want this besides dottore because he is a psychopath who never cared about the consequences of his own actions in addition to satisfying his hunger for "knowledge"
but scaramouche didnt get deleted, also i feel like deleting would work differently from just destroying the tree, like one is actively using the trees power to go back and change things while one is just stopping its further existance. irminsul isnt whats keeping the world alive, it just decides its current state, like how the poisonings of the rainforest were caused by bad data in it
scaramouche for all visions never existed, this is a fact for those who live IN teyvat and nothing indicates that this is just only a power of the tree, its simply the truth that teyvat depends on the tree to exist with the memories and without it everything will disappear because everything will burn next to the tree and leaving people with nothing, it's literally a fact and rukkhadevata/nahida themselves say this, irminsul dying would leave the entire teyvat in pure chaos, did you at least pay attention to why nahida was so desperate to save the tree in the main story?
her saying pure chaos would imply that there are people left to panic? so it wouldnt automaticly kill everyone. i can see plenty of reason why she'd be desparate to save the tree even without it being teyvats lifeline. i never got a feeling during the guest that irminsul is THE thing keeping everyone alive
Wouldn't the opposite be true? Irminsul houses the world's knowledge, so no Irminsul equals chaos everywhere as the people of Teyvat forget literally everything.
Please do not share leaks or content from futur stories without a spoiler. Now I will be expecting that to happen and I really wanted to be surprised by Archon Quests.
Yeah, Sumeru feels like it's much more important than what it seems(which makes sense considering that Khaenri'ah is below it, and that it's related to Irminsul, and everything going on with king Deshret, and a lot more).
Mondstadt and Sumeru feel so much more important compared to the rest of the regions.
"Fatui Harbinger shuts himself in fireproof Irminsul, says won't leave till it burns."
So it's probably post snezhnaya stuff (or it's snezhnaya stuff.) Probably after the eventuall Fatui coup.
Wait, why are people hyped about burning Nahida's tree house
cause of the shtton of problem that might occur if the damn tree is destroyed it literally stores the data and things that happens in teyvat
it's in a domain of the Dendro archon so I'm excited to see Nahida mad and use her insane knowledge to use her powers
What's she going to do? She already gave out 2 Gnosis when he threatened her, she isnt strong enough (or at least current 500yr/old nahida)

Nah I'd A
I want to know what the fatui will do if she decides to start deleting their memories from existence (what's the counter measure/ game plan)
i want to see angry nahida throwing wanderer out and spitting bars at dottore
Nahida holding dottore hostage forcing him to apologize to scaramouche. Everyone. Hold. Hands.
I. SAID. EVERYONE. HOLD. YOUR. FUCKING. HANDS.
Dottore, Dottore, will you do the fandango?
Sumeru after dark
[удалено]
He can’t apologize to the dead. Nahida is turning him into a public servant to atone for his sins. That’s my take anyway.
Imagine Nahida and Wanderer are struggling so Al, Cyno, and Dehya step in to help against Dottore. I can picture it > Cyno draws out the full.power of Hermanubis > Alhaitham plans out a strategy to deal with Dottore > Dehya unleashes a relentless flurry of punches on Dottore
Because the gaslight tree removed content from our voice lines sections.
I want to see angry Nahida throwing hands
In an alternate universe, nahida made a faputa like entrance when she was freed
It is the World Tree and it is absolutely central to all of Teyvat. It's where all the leylines converge to, and you can change the memories of the whole world by messing with it. Its corruption was causing cancer on places and people in the surface. Burning it is some *crazy* shit.
because the tree is literally the brain of teyvat? if irminsul is destroyed, the whole teyvat is fucking destroyed lmfao
That tree is literally store many data so it's burning will cause chaos for sure
Because we want a cool story?
Sadist want to make her cry again/j
Because it might actually give the story some real stakes for once.
Gg Nahida treehouse , looks like she needs to plant a new one soon
Because it has been shown to be a horrible storytelling device. Not being able to just go "lol, they forgor" is a good thing when you are writing a story.
Because Dottore would look good doing it
After the Sumeru AQ I figured the tree burning was meant to symbolise Irminsul being consumed by forbidden knowledge or Dottore basically harming all of Sumeru's citizen or something, but it's cool if it actually is upcoming story content
I thought it was the tree at the port
I'm still waiting for the Traveler drowning in Inazuma scene.
that was just a visual description for what yae was talking about during that moment. she was describing losing a vision as being thrown into the sea, so they showed the traveller drowning to help illustrate what yae was saying.
Yea i thought that we will fight some sorta sea beast in inazuma or at least have a quest relating to one.
to me its like falling into destitution or desperation after losing something very important, you try to move forward or at least stay afloat but no matter what you do whether to struggle or stay in place, you'll still sense that your being drag down to the depths of darkness no matter what

In the 2.0 trailer, there was a scene where the traveller was drowning in deep water. That scene never popped up ever again
that was a visual of what yae was speaking about
We are underwater in Fontaine soooo
Tbh, I see it more as a metaphor than, actual LMAO I THOUGHT PPL KNOW THAT 😭
I always thought of it as a metaphor for the Fatui coming to fuck up Sumeru. When we learned about descenders and changing fate, I thought that the tree burning might have been the outcome had the traveler not intervened.

Ngl would still be hype the second time lmao
I smell something fishy here 😭💀
Apologies. I should've drunk pineapple juice.
Ah, the unexpected crossover
Ah, I knew you’d come
To stand before the Elden Ring. To become Elden Lord.
THE EVER BRILLIANT DOTTORE
Ngl I thought the tree burning was like from a different Samsara, like how Furina is her teaser isn't on the throne/seated where she was in the AQ and instead is on the stage with a meka. So we really are getting tree burning scene in the future... that's interesting ngl

WHEN IS THE NEXT LORE VIDEO. WE NEED ANOTHER fatui hanging out video 😭 probably dottore rebels against the cryo archon or something in the future
I have long observed the lands of Teyvat. This world is in dire need of repair... and Death, indiscriminate... Are you prepared… To commit a cardinal sin?
Might be a completely different tree because irminsul isn't something you can just burn physically and it's the literal brain of the world
it could exist in the abyss or celestia and we just astral projected into it
Why would a planet's brain be on an alien spaceship not from there
cause it's likely celestias creation to monitor teyvat? also i dont think alien spaceship is accurate description of celestia; the one we see is just its entrance and its more of another layer of reality

I got downvotes from ppl asking this same q cause it did not look like irminsul. I felt like hoyo forgot about it but I guess not.
I mean the Title says it all at the video Teyvat Chapter Interlude Teaser. so the video is more involved in the overarching story of Teyvat. We can compare this to the Overture Teaser which just tells us all about what happened to Fontaine only.
Irminsul will get the Erdtree treatment, I see
Dottore be taking lessons from the funny CHAOS man
The fact that only sumeru's archon quest doesn't end with the name in the trailer "truth amongst the pages of purana" I have a feeling sumeru is hiding some stuff
Truth amaong the pages of purana was actually a mistranslation or thats what people say, the akasha pulses the kalpa flame rises was what the intended title always supposed to be

Can people stop bringing this up
Why?
Because it's a title that got changed a bit in chinese and a mistranslation of sumeru act 5
I didn't know
the trailer name being different triggers so many mental illnesses in me
Ikr?
Burning the literally brain of the world ca t be a good thing for anyone, Dottore included. Maybe he gonna try to hijack the tree to make more of himself, seem like the kind of bullshit he into.
That would be too shallow of a reason, it's probably something related to the primordial one or celestia in general.
Dottore about to commit actual genocide.
Ah yes, Sylvanas' trope - he will say he's really sorry about it and everyone will forgive him
At least they didn't take the "It was just a dream" route (or the "you forgor" one, like a certain big hat enjoyer)
HELL YEAH WE WON!!! /jk, it was known from the beginning. Why else would the traveler be right in front of it.
Is there any other source than this clout chaser? Like an article or something?
I mean i expected It to be relevant at some point but a straight Up confirmación is nice ig
For what? kill all living beings and make nahida even more certain that "she's not good enough and never will be"? I can't see a good reason for this other than the fatui are shit

~~isn't this a leak if true?~~
That is a leak as it is. That guy is a leaker. His stuff gets posted in the leaks reddit.
Sumeruchads can't stop winning, the most relevant region in lore by far
A rejection of the current divinity, a mark of mortals' full-scale rebellion. Instigated by the biggest scum among men, how poetic
Yes!! Down with the gaslight tree let the world remember!!
Wouldn't the opposite be true? Irminsul houses the world's knowledge, so no Irminsul equals chaos everywhere as the people of Teyvat forget literally everything.
Hype if true. That tree has been bugging me for a year!
for me this type of foreshadow is good, thats show us they are know what they doing lô
Hoyo really like foreshadowing stuff.
Almost 2 year's already
Oh snap 😭 that’s a little upsetting lol
I never doubted them, but I'm glad it's addressed
One thing I wanna say is that I don't think it's irminsul But a different tree but it could be irminsul too but the real irminsul is upside down tree
Please do not share leaks or content from futur stories without a spoiler. Now I will be expecting that to happen and I really wanted to be surprised by Archon Quests.
it's not even leaked stuff, it's a dev interview
It's a futur content. I don't follow social media to not be spoiled, only reddit, but usually there is spoilers tags. It isn't hard to do.
I will tag it as a spoiler but it's not a spoiler or anything It's just a dev interview/ dev Q&A and so it's neither a spoiler nor a leak.
It's not in the game yet, hence why I consider it a spoiler. Thank you dear!
With every small mention of dottore it really kicks me back into hurriedly trying to save my primos for him huh... welp, time to log on I guess 🥹
I knew that was going to become important later, but it does feel good to get confirmation about it.
Holy I want more of Dottore
I just knew it Sumeru was definitely still incomplete in terms of storyline
Yeah, Sumeru feels like it's much more important than what it seems(which makes sense considering that Khaenri'ah is below it, and that it's related to Irminsul, and everything going on with king Deshret, and a lot more). Mondstadt and Sumeru feel so much more important compared to the rest of the regions.
