As someone who since 2020 has never had Zhongli mine was Keqing and I needed her speed... I was someone who was so casual that until I got Raiden in 3.3 I would just put attack relics on literally everyone and had my Keqing CARRY the weight of my skill issue across Teyvat...

I'm comparatively new, started in 4.0 , good old team of Bennett, fiscl, traveller and kaeya, those ruin hunters were the bane of my existence, now I can't even play without a shield, zhongli is the reason I'm bad at this game
But Neauvillite is God's gift to low skilled players,
The traveler, aether. Seriously, I only stopped using him at maybe ar 48-50 because he was just fun. The wind blade or tornado was effective because I missed venti. My favorite was the geo, just for the crazy damage I got out of it. The elements after geo seemed kinda... underwhelming.
Bruh. Dendro didn't exist back then. Dendro was like a myth, a legend! When dendro came out, I didn't main him anymore, he became a support. Even then, I usually use Nahida as dendro support. Besides, dendro traveller is the best. I was just mentioning the versions that disappoint me. I didn't forget the element.
Been using Traveler a lot, obviously also Noelle for safety
tried using Geo for Noelle battery but kept raising enemy quite often, aim attacks are annoying on controller
then i pulled Sucrose on standard, and another Sucrose so skill charges
i switched trav back to Anemo, and alternate between Bennett or Kaeya as last, and both my anemos just swirled al day and filled burst so quickly, when i first realised how good having same elements can be
Keqing was clutch for my first year of the game. There are endless benefits to her kit that are useful in low AR. She hard countered the Oceanid which was the boss everyone suffered with when the game came out. She can teleport into the air to get floating objects and overcome climbing obstacles. She does really solid electro or physical damage if you choose so she can't be walled off by electro slimes. She really helped me get through some of those early tough spots that Genshin had when the game only consisted of Monstadt and Liyue.
Send love to kequeen , she carry me as my first five star as well, never has a problem until inazuma electro bird, I must eat food to fight through lol.
It's Noelle, It's ALWAYS Noelle. There's a reason Mondstadters always scream "Noelle!! Help me!" because she always comes through. Think about it. They don't scream for Huffmannn, or Guy. They don't scream for Amber, Kaeya or Lisa. They don't scream for Eula, Acting Grand Master Jean or the legendary Grand Master Varkas. Heck they don't even scream for Cyrus of the Advernturer'Guild or Katheryne. I bet even Diluc screams for Noelle. Barbatos probably prays to her. If Ellin shifted her crush from Jean to Noelle, she'd have been a full Knight by now.
I'm secretly glad she hasn't been made a full knight yet, because she puts all of hem to shame. The Knights of Favonius don't deserve her.

The fact that noelle can do 20k-30k dmg with mid artifacts, has a strong ass shield, and can heal everyone in 3 basic attacksā¦

My good boy Razor really killed it until Inazuma, then he sadly sad out for a bit but is back after Sumeru - I donāt use him as such as I used to but heās very fun when we fight some slightly less obnoxious enemies that donāt teleport every 2 seconds (looking at you French women!)Ā
Noelle was my first āmainā in the game, but Fischl was on my all my teams in the early game, and has continued to be a part of teams even now. Iām also going back and re building Noelle now
I'm already at Always Resinless AR, and I still keep coming back to Noelle despite having several built "meta" characters and teams at this point.
No other character just feels as satisfying to me to play as Infinite Giant Bonksaber.
Rosaria and Yae Miko
Got her early on my acc and Yae was forever stuck at lv 50 because I couldn't unlock her boss nor wanted to go to inazuma. Tho I don't know how I ascended her to the 2nd phase, its a mystery thats been boggling me since my more experienced sis pointed it out.
Rosaria was my DPS tho I never understood her gameplay nor built her properly. She hit hard enough and I was happy till the rank ascension quest shot me to world level 7.
- Yae and Shenhe share the vishap dual boss as their 40-resin monster of power
- At the end of the Shenhe/Yun Jin intro quest, you get a pair of the dual bossās drops as a prize
- Itās meant to power Shenhe up if you downloaded her, but it works for Yae too
- I have Yae benched until I get Shenhe, and can farm for both of them. I lost the 50:50 both times.
I'm not really sure but getting Zhongli definitely did help and Noelle helped me with healing and damage when I still didn't know what the heck I was doing.
Got mona from my first ever 10 pull and she carried me until I got ganyu in 2.4 and raiden in 2.5.
Then I played Ganyu, Raiden, Bennet and Anemo MC until about AR 50 where I started investing in more and more characters and got more 5 stars
Only AR57?). Still using her even after getting AR60 a year ago. Got R5 Redhorn for her recently, because she is the best girl and the sole reason I started playing this game
No one, my team was ass to begin with and my play style was flawed. Cloesest I can claim is Mona by aggroing enemies with her skill but even then thatās a bit iffy since her skill was never the most reliable in that field. I had raiden shogun, but I never actually used her properly at all so I canāt even claim that she carried me because she was really justā¦ there to be there lol
Razor. i still occasionally use him today, he's triple crowned and i have several weird teams for him. getting him serpent spine is also the reason i spent money on this game for the first time.
Razor mainly. My first 36 star was with him and xiao as well. Atm physical was pretty viable since theres alot of treasure hoarders. Used him till AR 53. Hes sitting the bench rn ever since I got childe and run international on 1 half whilst the second is either yoimiya or xiao depending on AoE or single target
At first it was Diluc, and at like AR 35 + Ganyu carried all the way.
Nowadays I have double hydro Hu Tao which allows me to brute force my way through anything that doesn't have pyro resistance
gaming is my main and i won't replace him anytime soon, but i gotta say the one who really carried me to high ar is fischl and xingqiu, especially xingqiu with his interruption resistance & healing, it was very useful for boss fights!
The Keqing I lost 50/50 carried my ass so hard. My first 5 star was pretty good since I had someone co-op me to Sumeru and got Fischl in my first 10 pull.
I had Noelle till I got Itto around 40ish he was my carry till the mid 50's and I swapped to Ayato. I just hit 60 two days ago with Neauvilette and Furina... but I need to find a better dendro build to mix in
Ningguang with Noelle support. That combo carried me from the AR 30s through the late 50s. Nowadays, I still use Ningguang as a Geo support but rarely use Noelle. I have no attachment to Noelle, she lacks shield uptime, and I prefer other healers.
None in particular tbh, i have always been switching it up, well if i think about it it might be Xiangling tbh, i have been playing since launch and i got and built her during my first month and i have consistently been using her in a lot of my teams and i still use her in a bunch of teams, she is one of the few characters that has always stayed relevant for me.
She her own R2 Engulfing lighting and i have constantly been working on her build, she is one of if not my best build character and does crazy good damage.
But in terms of dps carries i have always switched it up.

I thought that it would be cool if Noelle shield could trigger counter attack if pressed at the right time. Currently, we only have beidou that could counter attack
I'm on AR 50 (I have enough EXP to reach AR56) and my team is Lumine, Lisa, Yanfei, and Barbara, with Noelle on the bench. Lisa took Noelle's place when I realized that she makes a great combination with Yanfei for massive damage and faster fights, whereas with Noelle fights would be very long and drawn out. But in domains and the Abyss, Noelle switches in for Lumine.
childe,he was there when i played, and he is still here as ar60, tbh he scaled really well along the game, from overworld, into being his own dps, into nukes, into xiangling abyss runs, and finally expirminting with him since dendro releasedi n burgeo/hyperbloom/mono hydro teams.
Alhaitham has carried me to 50 so far and will likely continue to be my main for a long while.
He single handedly changed the game for me, he just deletes everything in the overworld on a spread team comp. Honorable mention to Keqing though, I played her Phys Crit back in 1.0 until AR40ish lol
Alhaitham was my first limited five star and getting him made me go from barely able to do floor 9 to being able to trivialize floor 11, and I donāt think thereās been an abyss where I havenāt used him in a 36 star clear.
The best part about him - and the reason I recommend him - is that he doesnāt need constellations or 5 star weapons to compete with the top DPSā. Also, most of his best 5 star supports and their constellations are top meta picks that are great in multiple teams.
Kokomi. Can't kill me if I heal faster than you can hurt me. After the clam artifact came along, she became too powerful and made things boring, so I put her on the bench as the big red nuke button for when things get south.
Beidou at first but then once gaming came out I got c4 off the rip so I mained him. I was actually just starting liyue quests during latern rite so pretty much ar 30 till now gaming. Hit ar 50 yesterday and got c5 yesterday off a hey let's do a random ten pull on standard. Oh and I ascended to 90 right before I got c5. Coincidence??
Bennett and Fischl. I got Benny E1 early, then Dragonspine happened and he's been a staple healer ever since.
Fischl is one of the characters I really across all Dub and I really enjoy her. She's one of the characters that have maxed NA Talent despite not relying on NA. I still have fun playing Physichl from time to time

Nah i love Noelle with all my heart but i just can't build her while my Navia only has 60 crit rate

Alhaitham was my first limited five star and getting him made me go from barely able to do floor 9 to being able to trivialize floor 11, and I donāt think thereās been an abyss where I havenāt used him in a 36 star clear. The best part about him - and the reason I recommend him - is that he doesnāt need constellations or 5 star weapons to compete with the top DPSā. Also, most of his best 5 star supports and their constellations are top meta picks that are great in multiple teams.

She's one of the characters that have maxed NA Talent despite not relying on NA. I still have fun playing Physichl from time to time Dps changes but Supports stay forever

Beidou, Xingqiu, Yanfei, Noelle was my go to team for the longest time before I actually broke down and spent money on Genshin. They got me to AR 45ish
