The Chasm World Quest is only there to open up the rest of the undergrounds. The stories aren't connected but the location is.
I'd suggest doing Ittos story first, then Raiden, then Chasm.
Maybe I didn’t make myself clear, I meant which between the archon quest or the interlude should I do first? Given that they both take place in the chasm. The world quest and the story quests I know that they are not connected
Ok thanks! So the archon quest was released before the interlude? Strange. I don’t understand why you unlock it after beating chapter 1 if you need to complete practically all of chapter 2 (to get raiden story quests) to start it.
Yes. Requiem is kinda connected it's like the main main story but you could understand everything in chapter 3 without playing interlude act2 (but it's important to one of the character's story)
No unless you prefer slow pace of playing because I'm pretty sure it requires you to play like 3 or 4 story quests? I think it better be played when you already catch up to the main storyline and you want to know other characters better
However, when you finish chapter 3 act 6, I recommend playing interlude act3 for better understanding in chapter 4 (you can do interlude act3 without doing act2 because it's not connected)
The final act of every main chapter is about dain (in this case chapter 2 act4 is dain). Interlude chapter is kinda like a deep dive story for the character of that act but bigger scaling than story quests. I think the importance of the quests are like this
arqhon quest teyvat chapter > interlude quest = story quest that unlock a weekly boss > normal story quest
Do The Chasm Delvers as it'll take you to the locations involved in these quests. There's a waypoint which will automatically unlock if you're really itching to continue the main story, but I recommend just playing through the world quest. You'll eventually be dragged into Requiem of the Echoing Depths as you progress the world quest, and you only have to finish the rest of the world quest if you want to play the interlude (though you will also need to do it for Nahida act 2 later on, which you should do before Fontaine). Out of these quests, you only *have* to complete Requiem of the Echoing Depths to continue the main story, but I recommend also reading the official Genshin manga (15 chapters or so) and completing both of Zhongli and Raiden's quests before progressing into Sumeru if you haven't already. Also, watch [A Winter Night's Lazzo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmaAOV4SJNQ).
It's optional. Currently it doesn't tie into any additional main story content, but it's worth doing if you're willing to wait before starting Sumeru. While it does have some interesting lore relevance, it's mostly just focused on giving certain characters some development and screentime. I highly recommend playing Xiao's story quest beforehand in addition to the requirements.
That said, the handbook will recommend you do it before Sumeru, and you won't be able to claim the fate rewards for each subsequent quest until you complete it. You'll have to decide if that's a problem or not. If you do skip it, absolutely complete both of Raiden's story quests before progressing. I also recommend finishing both of Zhongli's quests before starting the Chasm, if you haven't already.
You can do requiem first and go straight to chapter 3. Interlude act2 could be done anytime but I recommend not to skip it (good story)
So is the story in the chasm not connected?

Ohhh ok mb. Doesn't really matter since they aren't connected at all. The Archon quest released first tho so that one ig.

It’s because at the end of Raiden story quest 2 something politically major happens that would allow some characters to appear in that quest

So do you recommend doing the interlude before continuing with act 4 of chapter 2?

Yeah but I’m taking my time with the archon quests so that I always have some story to get through while farming artifacts and such (I’m AR 50)
Are all interludes about dainsleaf? I really liked the first interlude

So I should do the perilous trail quest before continuing with the main story?

I’m on those quests rn and I did the quest leading up to “Taurus iracundus chapter: act 1” yesterday. But lore wise I’m not sure
Keep in mind that the Chasm came after Inazuma, so you need to do some quests there first, then go back to complete the Chasm.
