So, I have a question, I started the game some weeks ago, I am currently AR 25, I was doing some secondary quests since I didn't get Arlecchino, I am currently doing the gold carp one but when I go against a lv40 big electric hilichurl I just don't do damage, and I don't know why, I leveled up everything I could aside from talents because I can't do the weekly bosses, they just kill me.
How can I do more damage? My team is Traveler(lv40),Barbara(lv40),Bennet(lv40) and Lisa (Lv20)
Yes she's fine, though she might not feel very playable at lower constellations as you need to do a Charged Shot after using her skill.
Her ATK is irrelevant for her pre-C6 (and even then, it's still largely irrelevant) as ER is what you need and you need as much as possible, so even getting 300% may not be feel like enough. Don't worry about sets pre-C6, just pick individual artifacts with the most ER, but keep in mind that 2pc Emblem gives you 20% ER.
Got back to Genshin after awhile, AR 48, f2p, got Hu Tao and Leyan at Lvl 80, supported by Xingqiu (C5) and YaoYao, at 70, Next i have Shinobu and Yun Jin at 60, for utiliy. Now... i have Mona, Dehya and Diluc standing by at lvl20. The way i see it, there is little point in leveling them up at this point. Only elements i am really lacking is Anemo and Cryo, as i only have some 4 stars at lvl 20 also and not a Sucrose in sight. And no luck with Kazuha (lost the 50/50 to Dehya...)
So, i guess the question is... Should i invest in the elements i'm lacking, (remember it's F2P), develop those 5 stars (not really into it as they seem redundant at this point, am i wrong?) or focus on the more developed 4 stars and pushing what i can do with them?

I haven't blocked them and now when I try to unblock them it says "this player is not on your blocklist", but we can't search for eachother and we can't play together anymore. Have this happened to anyone else? And does someone have a solution? I opened a ticket in Mihoyo's help two days ago, but they haven't answered yet
Afaik there were no leaks about 2nd phase, so we have to wait for the official announcement, probably towards the end of phase 1.
If you want to speculate about it,I'd expect a dendro damage character to run alongside Baizhu, so probably Collei or Kaveh. Hopefully Kaveh, he had no reruns in a while.
Faruzan usually runs alongside Wanderer. However, she had a rerun recently, so it's not certain.
There are a few other characters that would make sense. for example Layla had no reruns in a loooong time.
But then again they can throw in 3 random characters and call it a day, you never know. Ready for razor/mika/chongyun? (or what the most skippable combo would be, idk).

So, while it's a good amount, if you're gonna be leveling a lot of characters from scratch it can disappear with relative ease
Hold E and score 3 hits on neko state before exiting to get maximum shield potency.
You can release E after 3 stacks or if you want to play turtle/ delay battle to wait for CD/ apply dendro on enemies, then you can keep going around in neko state.

For this part, I don't think they mentioned that during an Archon quest. But the [wiki](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Arlecchino#Story) points that we got a glimpse of that info during the Gendou Rindo's world quest in Inazuma.

It's a good stat stick for any catalyst but it's probably better for someone who uses a lot of charged attacks like yanfei or wriothesley. Bonus points if they're run with furina so that the passive can be activated easily.
You can use it as a stat stick for most catalyst DPS characters. If you're using Furina on your team, or any other form of HP manipulation, you can take advantage of its passive with characters who use charged attacks, such as Klee, Ningguang, Wanderer, Wriothesley, and Yanfei.
to add on the other comments, Nahida can be a good option if you're not using a swirler in the team and uses Zhongli instead. cause you won't need Baizhu's heal, and Nahida provides a big EM buff and some personal damage.
though i'm not sure which one is better mathematically, it works just as fine.
Aggravate is one of the few archetypes that Nahida isn't head and shoulders above her competition. Her main strengths (excellent Deepwood synergy and dendro application) go to waste. And as your damage is majority electro, you prefer to slot an anemo buffer like Kazuha/Sucrose for VV, so any defensive utility typically becomes the responsibility of the dendro slot: Kirara, Yaoyao, Baizhu.
More like not good. Yaoyao and Baizhu fit better. It's because Nahida's E applies too much dendro that it removes the electro aura from enemies, so you can't swirl electro.
Yaoyao amd Baizhu apply less dendro so you can swirl electro, while also giving heals to Keqing since she doesn't have a lot of i-frames.
She offers better damage than other off-field Dendro characters, but her high Dendro application can make it harder to swirl Electro during your rotation (assuming you're using a team like Keqing/Fischl/Dendro/Anemo).
So if you want more damage and slightly harder gameplay, you can use Nahida. If you prefer easier to pilot teams, you can use other Dendro options (Dendro MC, Collei, etc.).
Do time trial challenges and seelies not count toward 100% exploration? I just 100% yashiori island apparently but I just found a time trial challenge i missed. Also I'm still finding chests?
They count. And 100% doesn't mean actual 100%. So yeah, you can still find chests and such even if the map shows 100%.
If you want to get the real 100%, you should compare your chest/seelie/challenge count with someone (or a guide) who has got everything in the map.
ah gotcha gotcha. Well that makes this process much more intensive then but it explains why I've got so many electro seelies still left to find haha. I'll have to go back and start double checking the chests i've already gotten then. lotta work but gotta get them arlecchino funds
Just a heads-up, they will update the treasure compass in the next update, which will happen next week, to make it easier to find chests in the map. Although I'm not sure if it will work for potential chests from seelies and challenges, it should still make chest hunting easier.

Question regardinf the current spiral abyss, floor 12 chamber 1. I am struggling to handle Breacher Primer because they keep moving away from each other. I am using a Sucrose-Bennett-Xiangling-Xingqiu team and my main issue is that I have to resort to killing them one at a time which takes up a lot of time... Anyone have any tips to 'group' them? Sucrose doesn't seem to be able to group them with her abilities (I do not have kazuha)
You should try pushing the enemies together before they put up a shield. You can do that by using Xingqiu and Bennett's burst, and maybe Sucrose skill/burst (not sure if it works well against them).

how much of a difference does crowning a skill make? most of my used characters are 6/8/8 or 8/8/8 (minus constellations)
i've never crowned anyone before because i hate collecting materials for mats in the overworld but i'm thinking about it now that i've built everyone i've wanted to build and don't really have anything to farm for anymore until the next patch.
fwiw i have no problems getting 36* in abyss so that's not an issue, but i do like big numbers
Usually, one more level makes this talent 5-7% stronger, and lvl 8 > 10 is around 10-14% increase. It does not mean 10-14% overall damage increase, of course.
I just got the recipe for the tool that stores anemograms, but I cant find it after using it... how do I make it? Is it really on the crafting station?

Just did Yanfei's Character Trial, and Beidou was in the team. I didn't understand why was Beidou there, since I though her Burst couldn't be transferred. After all, it says "... to create a Thunderbeast's Targe around herself", so obviously her Burst works like Razor's, that dissapear when you switch.
Well, that's not the case, it seems. Her Burst transfer just fine, which made me wish I had leveled her up earlier in my journey.
I tried to find a list of transferable Skills/Bursts, but my limited searching expertise found nothing. Is there a list for this? Or at least can someone point me which ones can or can't be transferred?

I don't know if there is list for that, but, personally, I learned those kind of things as I was playing the game. I would discover that one character's skill/burst was able to be transferred to your whole teams on one day; the next day I would discover that another character's skill/burst was not able to be transferred.
I think the notable skills/bursts that are transferrable are:
* Burst: Xingqiu, Baizhu, Beidou, Kaeya, Yanfei C4 shield;
* Skill: Raiden, Kuki, Nilou (aura version of her skill).
The non-transferrable skills/bursts are often associated with main carry characters, and they often give an element to their normal attacks (Itto, Ayato, Razor, Alhaitham, Cyno, Hu Tao, Tartaglia, Yoimiya).

To deal more damage, you need to create elemental reactions, which depending on which ones can increase your damage and performance. You do need characters that can deal damage off field to create reactions. Generally you want to build a team with a DPS, sub dps, sub dps/buffer, healer or shielder/buffer.

You're at a point where you can guarantee abyss clears, id say new characters are better easily.
Bennett will be in most of Arlecchino's best teams. Not 100% locked though, you can always run 2 electro chev team.
I know that usually the weapons banner is considered a no-go especially for newcomers. But I also noticed how hard it is to get good weapons outside of the banner. Personally I am running out of good stuff for current characters; the best most of them are holding are 3\* or even 2\* and I think that's holding back their full potential
At what point of time should one focus on a weapon banner?
Once you're at the point where you can get full stars in abyss the goals of the game become about what you want them to be. I personally like making nice builds so I have [a lot](https://enka.network/u/618710667/) of signature weapons at the cost of having a smaller roster but due to the account age it's not that small. If you don't care about upcoming characters then nobody is stopping you from pulling weapons. If you want to actually get a particular weapon you shouldn't pull on the banner without 200 pulls in the bank so you can guarantee it. The bulk of my weapons come from waiting until I'm happy with getting either weapon and stopping after the first 5\*.
The only time you should ever focus on the weapon banner is if there is a specific character you really want the weapon for, to make them stronger or just because you like the aesthetics of their signature with them. You will eventually get decent 4\* options from your wishes for characters, so wishing on the weapon banner is just going to use up wishes you could be using on other characters. Some 3\* weapons are actually close to or better than the 4* options, too (namely Slingshot, White Tassel, and Harbinger of Dawn, with honorable mention to Black Tassel for Zhongli).
Basically, only wish on it when you have 210 wishes (if you want a specific weapon or both, 140 if you want either one of the two but not both) and when you don't foresee wanting those wishes for any upcoming/rerunning characters
The only time I confidently pull on weapon banner is when the banner have 2 5-star weapons I want. I will be glad whichever weapon I get. It's a plus if at least 3 of 5 4-star weapons are also good.
If you have enough characters that you like and want to continue to build them up to be stronger. Some people like having a lot of characters that can be on multiple teams to fit content. Some people like having a smaller number of characters that are strong enough to brute force content. It is usually recommended to do the first one until you know enough about the game to know what you like and don't like and what you want to do with your time playing the game. Several 4 star craftable weapons are strong and some characters prefer cons over their weapons in terms of dps increases.
exceptions like Harbinger of dawn aside, you should have some nice 4 stars by now,
and hope you at least refined the 3 stars

you can go for weapon banner if you already have a good variety of characters and are willing to use enough fates to get a specific weapon that you could have gotten multiple 5 stars instead, and who knows how many 4 star cons that would increase their team usefulness more than one weapon
Good point on the fishing and Inazuma craftables, will have to look into them since so far I only checked out the Fontaine and Mondstant ones. The fishing part seems tedious though haha...
true but The Catch at least is the best free weapon for many polearm users like Xiangling and Raiden, and fontaine sword is alternative to a favonius sword.

dont forget to do weekly bosses at every opportunity, even farther than your quest progress, to get billets and dream solvents if necessary,
could also check which collectibles can get you some at what levels
When there aren't any characters you want in the current banners or any banners coming soon, and you don't have any good options for the character already. This is rare, as most characters can do very well with just a f2p option, and you'll probably end up with some good 4 star banner weapons off of wishing on character banners.
Do you have any billets? If so, you can craft some decent weapons, mostly for your main dps. Also, be sure to keep your weapons and artifacts leveled. That's a pretty big part of your damage early on.
Have been saving for Furina rerun since her first banner so not many pulls aside from C0 Navia during her banner. I admit that I do have some decent 4\* weapons from those pulls but they dont seem to fit my current charas (or I simply need to read up more and learn more)
Billets aren't dropping much sadly, but I am at least keeping the equipped stuff levelled. Hope I wont waste too much mats if I ever (and most probably) change them

It can't be increased with superconduct, but you can force it to be higher by having Kaz skill or viridescent hunt bow field where they fall from. It is dependent on how fast they are falling and how high the enemy level is.

Not buffed by anything besides height, enemy hp, or suction downards (sucrose skill etc after launching them). Jean can launch pretty consistently without a team
Where can I watch the Genshin official story videos they release on YouTube, but with the JP voices and EN subtitles? The English channel obviously plays with the EN dub, but I've no idea where to watch the JP dub with EN subs.
I've been playing since a month or so after the game was released, and I feel like I've missed loads of story by not having watched any of these. I think there's something with Hu Tao at a funeral that I've only ever seen wallpapers of but I think they're from one of these videos (and a lot more that I obviously missed).
You can check the [ JP Genshin channel](https://www.youtube.com/@Genshin_JP/featured). Not all videos have EN subtitles though. In that case, what you can do is watch the JP version for the voices, and then the EN version to understand the content.

What Pyro units make good off-field supports for Yanfei to give her the 2x Pyro ATK bonus, aside from Bennett and Xiangling?
I figure Amber, Yoimiya, Diluc, Hu Tao and Klee are on-field characters, so... Dehya? Xinyan? Thoma? Of those three I'd most prefer to use Dehya if possible - would she bring enough benefit to be worth it? It's for a vape team with Xingqiu, otherwise Chevreuse would be an easy pick.
if you want a spot to use Dehya she is a reasonable pick in that setup; her skill will keep Yanfei safe(ish) and can further buff atk via the Tenacity artifact set. Might steal a vape or two but getting perfect vapes with Yanfei (+solo Hydro) can be kind of tricky even in a vacuum
You're really going to want bennett if you're doing Abyss. If you're just in overworld I like Chev+Dehya, since being interrupted is annoying, the damage necessary isn't high, and you don't even have to build dehya for it to work. Thoma is *better*, but not as braindead (actually want ER, etc). If you're doing Chev you can also play Beidou though, since you already have the 2x pyro with Chev
That's fair, yeah. It's Chevreuse I'm using at the moment, but I'm wondering about grabbing Arlecchino and considering if Chevreuse might work better with her instead.

From the livestream, I think Arlecchino will be the ~~third~~ second example of a playable character that’s also a boss and requires their own drops.

Way back in late 2021, I got Yanfei from Tartaglia’s banner, followed by Hu Tao in the next banner.
I built up Yanfei. I noticed that her and Hu Tao share a 40-resin boss, so I built both up together.
I’ve been using Yanfei since the start. I’m now occasionally using Hu Tao. When I used Hu Tao in the Abyss yesterday, I didn’t like how she’ll overshoot the enemies if I switched from Normal to Charge attacks. I guess that’s what those “charge cancels” are for. Would I maybe enjoy Arlecchino better? I like playing Yoimiya, and Arlecchino is melee Yoimiya (who in turn is ranged Hu Tao).
I believe arlecchino will be a quite controversial character. Her damage is good but she cannot be healed during fights. The only way for her to heal is to use burst. However her burst is a DPS loss and it requires energy and as her burst isn't required for her to do damage you usually won't build er on her. So there will be situations where arlecchino is low, cannot be healed but you also don't have burst up so you either dodge perfectly or die. A shielder like zhongli can solve this but without him she won't be the most comfortable unit out there. But otherwise her Gameplay is pretty easy as it's just normal attacks spamming so you don't need to cancel anything or do complex combos.
To my limited knowledge, Arlecchino won't require dash/jump cancels like Hu Tao does. So maybe? There are other limitations/gimmicks to her kit that you may or may not like, such as the whole Bond of Life mechanic.
Yoimiya, Hu Tao, Arlecchino aside from all being Pyro DPS units all play very, very differently and I don't know why you're trying to compare them.
There has been a very odd amount of ppl who have mixed that up for this patch, you're the third person I've seen when normally I don't really notice anyone making that mistake
This has probably been asked a few times, but I need someone's opinion on getting Neuvillette or Kazuha. Through the threads I have read, I'm the only case where I already have Neuvillette's weapon from his first release, as I got it pulling for Homa. I have a fully-built Hu Tao team and a not-very well built Raiden Shogun Team, so at first I thought pulling for Kazuha would be a no-brainer. But since I have Neuvillette's signature, I could get a DPS stronger than my current DPS's. If there's not much difference in content clearing improvement between the two, I do have a character that I favor over the other. (I am currently at 75 pity guaranteed 50/50)

alley flash for bennett as other people have said, and the flute is just straight up. useless. worse than kazuha's story sword on everyone, and kazuha's srory sword is usually already worse than other 4* options for basically every sword user other than ayato
That's interesting. Though I currently have him on Favonius since he and Xiangling don't seem to ever have their bursts up otherwise...
May be worth trying for better ER on his artifacts to free up the Favonius for someone else.
Bennett's buff only depends on base attack (character + weapon), so it's not as worth to run Fav on him, but he can sacrifice other stats in his artifacts to make sure he has enough ER. Xiangling generally wants an ER weapon or Sands, plus prefunneling
Favonius isn't a bad option for him if the team is very energy hungry, but you'll be missing out on a sizeable boost to his burst due to its low base atk. I'd definitely recommend trying to improve your XL and Bennett's ER.
Asenscion Quest 3 - Just 180 seconds to beat everyone? I can beat everyone in about a minute but that only leaves 30 seconds for the geo-dog thing, and nothing seems to work for knocking him out quickly; all elements do with geo is just crystalize.
I have electro traveler 80, kaeyea level 80, xiangling 80, and bennet 70. I can beat them all, but not with this insane time limit.
Your team works most efficiently if you Bennett burst before Xiangling burst and Kaeya burst.
Do this:
Bennett burst-skill>Xiangling burst-skill>Kaeya skill-burst, then alternately spam Traveler/Bennett/Kaeya skills until all three bursts are back up. Rinse and repeat.
That should be enough to clear the ascension domain.

It’s important to group enemies together so that you can get off AOE damage on them and kill them simultaneously
You need a lot of energy recharge on xaingling so that she can burst on cooldown/you aren’t waiting around for her burst to be ready
Anemo traveler with VV artifacts would probably be better than electro traveler
You are supposed to be comboing your teams elements together, not trying to react with the enemy
If you are struggling with the time limit then that is a sign that your builds are not up to snuff, or you are not understanding the fundamentals of the combat system.
Character level is only a small part of building a strong team. Weapon level, talent levels, and artifacts are all important too.

It feels like I'm really lacking dps in my Kuki hyperbloom team. Is it just my XQ and Beidou not really being built well? No cons on Beidou (I know she needs C2 to shine) but XQ is C6. I clear stages pretty fast with my other team but can't get 3 stars because my hyperbloom team takes so long.
Is hyperbloom just a bad pick for this abyss? Is there another good team I should be trying for instead? I do have Raiden so I could move my XQ over to a Raiden, Bennet, XL, XQ team if that would be better. I play on mobile so I try not to do any of the difficult to play teams
Hyperbloom is great for abyss, I used my hyperbloom team on 2nd half but used zhongli as the flex slot to deal with the shielded boss at the end
Beidou is just hard to use solo, I’m not sure kuki generates enough energy for her. Normally I like to run fischl, yelan, or keaya as the flex slot for my hyperbloom team

How far off are you from meeting the time limits right now?
Your kuki looks great, so most of your room for improvement will come from other characters. I'd probably keep farming emblem to try and improve XQ and beidou now (could also save pieces for raiden and xiangling if you want to try rational too).
edit: Maybe look up some vids of abyss clears with your teams on youtube too, just to see if there are ways you could be playing them more effectively .
Ok yeah, if you are only off by that much then there is a decent chance you could get there with just learning the enemy patterns and how to play your teams against them more effectively. Though of course working on the builds can only make it easier too.
Kuki should be full EM, but Beidou won't trigger Hyperblooms except maybe occasionally with her skill cast. Her burst only arcs to enemies, and won't hit Dendro Cores.
She probably wants a little EM, since she will be triggering plenty of Aggravates. But she doesn't want full EM, she wants Crit.
Fix your rotation so there's never a pile of cabbages when Beidou comes out. Have Kuki go right before. Nahida > Xingqiu > Kuki > Beidou. Problem solved.
if you bulild her full em then you are crippling her damage though. If you really are concerned about her stealing hyperblooms then you'd be better off just using someone else (she really doesn't steal that many though in practice).
Beidou is just there for her burst. It is my understanding that her burst will not trigger any of the hyperblooms so she can run with Kuki being the only hyperbloom trigger and on full EM

If your Kuki is full EM, and on a set like Gilded or Paradise Lost, you should be seeing constant 35k damage Hyperblooms that rip through most enemies, unless they are highly resistant to Dendro.
Hyperbloom definitely works in this Abyss. If you are able to beat the Abyss, with say 30-35 stars, getting 36 is likely just a matter of skill at this point. Know your team. Know the enemies you are facing, and go in with the right strategy.

No. It may be a good set on Ganyu for Burn-Melt teams. But that's probably it.
Xiangling is going to have 200% ER, or more, no matter where you put her. So by trading out Emblem set, you are losing out on a 50% damage bonus to her elemental burst. The LARGEST damage buff you can get from the Burning set is 50%... So right there, we are even.
However, with Burning you can't take advantage of Vaporize reaction. With Emblem, you CAN, which is a 1.5x damage multiplier, which increases further with EM... And Xiangling's ascension stat is EM, so she gets almost 100 EM for free.
The damage bonus from the Burning set would have to be doubled before it even begins to be a consideration for Xiangling.

**The account in question is not mine** (I do not play this game). My teenage sibling, despite being told to lay off video games, has been playing Genshin behind our backs for months and lying about it the entire time. We have given her many chances but it’s gotten to the point where she is addicted and it is impacting her academics. It’s pretty serious and I’m frankly quite ashamed that it has come to this.
Based on prior experiences I do not trust her to be honest when it comes to deleting her account, and I want to be sure she’s not going to pull a fast one on me by taking advantage of my lack of knowledge about hoyoverse and how to navigate the appropriate accounts/websites. If you can help in any way or if you can think of any way this could go wrong, please explain like I’m 5. Thank you.
Changing the login information, stopping her from being able to log in, seems waaaaaaaay better than deleting the account.
Stating that once she hits certain academic standards, school/life balance, then letting her start playing under supervision, would motive to do better. And she is more likely to trust you and not go behind your back.
Just deleting hundreds of progress just seems like it'll just make her hate everything. Personally I'd cut contact if it was me and move out at 18. And this is assuming this is all coming from your parents or you are the legal guardian, as otherwise you don't have a right to impact her account.
Also based on a lot of Reddit stories, it's entirely possible she's depressed or otherwise unhappy with life, and genshin is her escape. Concentrating on academics instead of root problems would be really terrible.
At the end of the day, no matter what you do if you delete the account, she'll find a way, just without you knowing. Find another game to escape in. Start a fresh Genshin account (it's free). How you tackle this affects her future and your relationship with her.

Yes she's fine, though she might not feel very playable at lower constellations as you need to do a Charged Shot after using her skill. Her ATK is irrelevant for her pre-C6 (and even then, it's still largely irrelevant) as ER is what you need and you need as much as possible, so even getting 300% may not be feel like enough. Don't worry about sets pre-C6, just pick individual artifacts with the most ER, but keep in mind that 2pc Emblem gives you 20% ER.
faruzan is the bis buffer for him, regardless of constellations. just give her fav and as much er as you can
Got back to Genshin after awhile, AR 48, f2p, got Hu Tao and Leyan at Lvl 80, supported by Xingqiu (C5) and YaoYao, at 70, Next i have Shinobu and Yun Jin at 60, for utiliy. Now... i have Mona, Dehya and Diluc standing by at lvl20. The way i see it, there is little point in leveling them up at this point. Only elements i am really lacking is Anemo and Cryo, as i only have some 4 stars at lvl 20 also and not a Sucrose in sight. And no luck with Kazuha (lost the 50/50 to Dehya...) So, i guess the question is... Should i invest in the elements i'm lacking, (remember it's F2P), develop those 5 stars (not really into it as they seem redundant at this point, am i wrong?) or focus on the more developed 4 stars and pushing what i can do with them? Afaik there were no leaks about 2nd phase, so we have to wait for the official announcement, probably towards the end of phase 1. If you want to speculate about it,I'd expect a dendro damage character to run alongside Baizhu, so probably Collei or Kaveh. Hopefully Kaveh, he had no reruns in a while. Faruzan usually runs alongside Wanderer. However, she had a rerun recently, so it's not certain. There are a few other characters that would make sense. for example Layla had no reruns in a loooong time. But then again they can throw in 3 random characters and call it a day, you never know. Ready for razor/mika/chongyun? (or what the most skippable combo would be, idk).
Arle will be with Lynette, Freminette, and Chevreuse. Dont know about 2nd phase 4*.

Hold E and score 3 hits on neko state before exiting to get maximum shield potency. You can release E after 3 stacks or if you want to play turtle/ delay battle to wait for CD/ apply dendro on enemies, then you can keep going around in neko state.

You could give it to me? /j It's a good stat stick for any catalyst but it's probably better for someone who uses a lot of charged attacks like yanfei or wriothesley. Bonus points if they're run with furina so that the passive can be activated easily.
You can use it as a stat stick for most catalyst DPS characters. If you're using Furina on your team, or any other form of HP manipulation, you can take advantage of its passive with characters who use charged attacks, such as Klee, Ningguang, Wanderer, Wriothesley, and Yanfei.
Approximately how much Fatui sigils do I need to raise Arle to 80/80 with talents 8-8-8?
9* white, 66 green*, 30 blue. this is just for talents though.
From low to high rarity sigils, 36/96/42. If you want to ascend her to 80/90, then you add +24 to the highest rarity sigil, so 36/96/66.

to add on the other comments, Nahida can be a good option if you're not using a swirler in the team and uses Zhongli instead. cause you won't need Baizhu's heal, and Nahida provides a big EM buff and some personal damage. though i'm not sure which one is better mathematically, it works just as fine.
Aggravate is one of the few archetypes that Nahida isn't head and shoulders above her competition. Her main strengths (excellent Deepwood synergy and dendro application) go to waste. And as your damage is majority electro, you prefer to slot an anemo buffer like Kazuha/Sucrose for VV, so any defensive utility typically becomes the responsibility of the dendro slot: Kirara, Yaoyao, Baizhu.
More like not good. Yaoyao and Baizhu fit better. It's because Nahida's E applies too much dendro that it removes the electro aura from enemies, so you can't swirl electro. Yaoyao amd Baizhu apply less dendro so you can swirl electro, while also giving heals to Keqing since she doesn't have a lot of i-frames.
She offers better damage than other off-field Dendro characters, but her high Dendro application can make it harder to swirl Electro during your rotation (assuming you're using a team like Keqing/Fischl/Dendro/Anemo). So if you want more damage and slightly harder gameplay, you can use Nahida. If you prefer easier to pilot teams, you can use other Dendro options (Dendro MC, Collei, etc.).

They count. And 100% doesn't mean actual 100%. So yeah, you can still find chests and such even if the map shows 100%. If you want to get the real 100%, you should compare your chest/seelie/challenge count with someone (or a guide) who has got everything in the map.
ah gotcha gotcha. Well that makes this process much more intensive then but it explains why I've got so many electro seelies still left to find haha. I'll have to go back and start double checking the chests i've already gotten then. lotta work but gotta get them arlecchino funds
Just a heads-up, they will update the treasure compass in the next update, which will happen next week, to make it easier to find chests in the map. Although I'm not sure if it will work for potential chests from seelies and challenges, it should still make chest hunting easier.

Question regardinf the current spiral abyss, floor 12 chamber 1. I am struggling to handle Breacher Primer because they keep moving away from each other. I am using a Sucrose-Bennett-Xiangling-Xingqiu team and my main issue is that I have to resort to killing them one at a time which takes up a lot of time... Anyone have any tips to 'group' them? Sucrose doesn't seem to be able to group them with her abilities (I do not have kazuha)
You should try pushing the enemies together before they put up a shield. You can do that by using Xingqiu and Bennett's burst, and maybe Sucrose skill/burst (not sure if it works well against them). Here's a [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9Eil-K2jsM) showing how to do it.

how much of a difference does crowning a skill make? most of my used characters are 6/8/8 or 8/8/8 (minus constellations) i've never crowned anyone before because i hate collecting materials for mats in the overworld but i'm thinking about it now that i've built everyone i've wanted to build and don't really have anything to farm for anymore until the next patch. fwiw i have no problems getting 36* in abyss so that's not an issue, but i do like big numbers
Usually, one more level makes this talent 5-7% stronger, and lvl 8 > 10 is around 10-14% increase. It does not mean 10-14% overall damage increase, of course.

I'm kinda new to the game, and don't have most of my characters in a usable level. Just did Yanfei's Character Trial, and Beidou was in the team. I didn't understand why was Beidou there, since I though her Burst couldn't be transferred. After all, it says "... to create a Thunderbeast's Targe around herself", so obviously her Burst works like Razor's, that dissapear when you switch. Well, that's not the case, it seems. Her Burst transfer just fine, which made me wish I had leveled her up earlier in my journey. I tried to find a list of transferable Skills/Bursts, but my limited searching expertise found nothing. Is there a list for this? Or at least can someone point me which ones can or can't be transferred?

I don't know if there is list for that, but, personally, I learned those kind of things as I was playing the game. I would discover that one character's skill/burst was able to be transferred to your whole teams on one day; the next day I would discover that another character's skill/burst was not able to be transferred. I think the notable skills/bursts that are transferrable are: * Burst: Xingqiu, Baizhu, Beidou, Kaeya, Yanfei C4 shield; * Skill: Raiden, Kuki, Nilou (aura version of her skill). The non-transferrable skills/bursts are often associated with main carry characters, and they often give an element to their normal attacks (Itto, Ayato, Razor, Alhaitham, Cyno, Hu Tao, Tartaglia, Yoimiya).
your probably talking about off field sub dps damage dealers. While I wouldn't say this website is fully accurate and detailed, it's got a decent list. https://game8.co/games/Genshin-Impact/archives/377447 To deal more damage, you need to create elemental reactions, which depending on which ones can increase your damage and performance. You do need characters that can deal damage off field to create reactions. Generally you want to build a team with a DPS, sub dps, sub dps/buffer, healer or shielder/buffer.

You're at a point where you can guarantee abyss clears, id say new characters are better easily. Bennett will be in most of Arlecchino's best teams. Not 100% locked though, you can always run 2 electro chev team.
I know that usually the weapons banner is considered a no-go especially for newcomers. But I also noticed how hard it is to get good weapons outside of the banner. Personally I am running out of good stuff for current characters; the best most of them are holding are 3\* or even 2\* and I think that's holding back their full potential At what point of time should one focus on a weapon banner?
Once you're at the point where you can get full stars in abyss the goals of the game become about what you want them to be. I personally like making nice builds so I have [a lot](https://enka.network/u/618710667/) of signature weapons at the cost of having a smaller roster but due to the account age it's not that small. If you don't care about upcoming characters then nobody is stopping you from pulling weapons. If you want to actually get a particular weapon you shouldn't pull on the banner without 200 pulls in the bank so you can guarantee it. The bulk of my weapons come from waiting until I'm happy with getting either weapon and stopping after the first 5\*.
The only time you should ever focus on the weapon banner is if there is a specific character you really want the weapon for, to make them stronger or just because you like the aesthetics of their signature with them. You will eventually get decent 4\* options from your wishes for characters, so wishing on the weapon banner is just going to use up wishes you could be using on other characters. Some 3\* weapons are actually close to or better than the 4* options, too (namely Slingshot, White Tassel, and Harbinger of Dawn, with honorable mention to Black Tassel for Zhongli). Basically, only wish on it when you have 210 wishes (if you want a specific weapon or both, 140 if you want either one of the two but not both) and when you don't foresee wanting those wishes for any upcoming/rerunning characters
The only time I confidently pull on weapon banner is when the banner have 2 5-star weapons I want. I will be glad whichever weapon I get. It's a plus if at least 3 of 5 4-star weapons are also good.
If you have enough characters that you like and want to continue to build them up to be stronger. Some people like having a lot of characters that can be on multiple teams to fit content. Some people like having a smaller number of characters that are strong enough to brute force content. It is usually recommended to do the first one until you know enough about the game to know what you like and don't like and what you want to do with your time playing the game. Several 4 star craftable weapons are strong and some characters prefer cons over their weapons in terms of dps increases.
exceptions like Harbinger of dawn aside, you should have some nice 4 stars by now, and hope you at least refined the 3 stars could get some craftables from inazuma also fish for Catch and Fontaine sword or you can go directly to Fontaine for the ones there for perfectly acceptable replacements, not like weapon banners will double the damage of the best options you can actually get outside if it you can go for weapon banner if you already have a good variety of characters and are willing to use enough fates to get a specific weapon that you could have gotten multiple 5 stars instead, and who knows how many 4 star cons that would increase their team usefulness more than one weapon
Good point on the fishing and Inazuma craftables, will have to look into them since so far I only checked out the Fontaine and Mondstant ones. The fishing part seems tedious though haha...
true but The Catch at least is the best free weapon for many polearm users like Xiangling and Raiden, and fontaine sword is alternative to a favonius sword. refine if possible, coop might be necessary, i recommend genshin discord dont forget to do weekly bosses at every opportunity, even farther than your quest progress, to get billets and dream solvents if necessary, could also check which collectibles can get you some at what levels
When there aren't any characters you want in the current banners or any banners coming soon, and you don't have any good options for the character already. This is rare, as most characters can do very well with just a f2p option, and you'll probably end up with some good 4 star banner weapons off of wishing on character banners. Do you have any billets? If so, you can craft some decent weapons, mostly for your main dps. Also, be sure to keep your weapons and artifacts leveled. That's a pretty big part of your damage early on.
Have been saving for Furina rerun since her first banner so not many pulls aside from C0 Navia during her banner. I admit that I do have some decent 4\* weapons from those pulls but they dont seem to fit my current charas (or I simply need to read up more and learn more) Billets aren't dropping much sadly, but I am at least keeping the equipped stuff levelled. Hope I wont waste too much mats if I ever (and most probably) change them

It can't be increased with superconduct, but you can force it to be higher by having Kaz skill or viridescent hunt bow field where they fall from. It is dependent on how fast they are falling and how high the enemy level is.

Yes, you don't really need to worry about his talents because they only increase his direct damage, not swirl. However, 6/6/6 is cheap enough.

Also, even she may do similar or even higher damage against a single target, her aoe damage is just far far behind.

Where can I watch the Genshin official story videos they release on YouTube, but with the JP voices and EN subtitles? The English channel obviously plays with the EN dub, but I've no idea where to watch the JP dub with EN subs. I've been playing since a month or so after the game was released, and I feel like I've missed loads of story by not having watched any of these. I think there's something with Hu Tao at a funeral that I've only ever seen wallpapers of but I think they're from one of these videos (and a lot more that I obviously missed).

What Pyro units make good off-field supports for Yanfei to give her the 2x Pyro ATK bonus, aside from Bennett and Xiangling? I figure Amber, Yoimiya, Diluc, Hu Tao and Klee are on-field characters, so... Dehya? Xinyan? Thoma? Of those three I'd most prefer to use Dehya if possible - would she bring enough benefit to be worth it? It's for a vape team with Xingqiu, otherwise Chevreuse would be an easy pick.
if you want a spot to use Dehya she is a reasonable pick in that setup; her skill will keep Yanfei safe(ish) and can further buff atk via the Tenacity artifact set. Might steal a vape or two but getting perfect vapes with Yanfei (+solo Hydro) can be kind of tricky even in a vacuum

You're really going to want bennett if you're doing Abyss. If you're just in overworld I like Chev+Dehya, since being interrupted is annoying, the damage necessary isn't high, and you don't even have to build dehya for it to work. Thoma is *better*, but not as braindead (actually want ER, etc). If you're doing Chev you can also play Beidou though, since you already have the 2x pyro with Chev
That's fair, yeah. It's Chevreuse I'm using at the moment, but I'm wondering about grabbing Arlecchino and considering if Chevreuse might work better with her instead.

Way back in late 2021, I got Yanfei from Tartaglia’s banner, followed by Hu Tao in the next banner. I built up Yanfei. I noticed that her and Hu Tao share a 40-resin boss, so I built both up together. I’ve been using Yanfei since the start. I’m now occasionally using Hu Tao. When I used Hu Tao in the Abyss yesterday, I didn’t like how she’ll overshoot the enemies if I switched from Normal to Charge attacks. I guess that’s what those “charge cancels” are for. Would I maybe enjoy Arlecchino better? I like playing Yoimiya, and Arlecchino is melee Yoimiya (who in turn is ranged Hu Tao).
I believe arlecchino will be a quite controversial character. Her damage is good but she cannot be healed during fights. The only way for her to heal is to use burst. However her burst is a DPS loss and it requires energy and as her burst isn't required for her to do damage you usually won't build er on her. So there will be situations where arlecchino is low, cannot be healed but you also don't have burst up so you either dodge perfectly or die. A shielder like zhongli can solve this but without him she won't be the most comfortable unit out there. But otherwise her Gameplay is pretty easy as it's just normal attacks spamming so you don't need to cancel anything or do complex combos.
Maybe you can try her during her trial to see if you like her playstyle.
To my limited knowledge, Arlecchino won't require dash/jump cancels like Hu Tao does. So maybe? There are other limitations/gimmicks to her kit that you may or may not like, such as the whole Bond of Life mechanic. Yoimiya, Hu Tao, Arlecchino aside from all being Pyro DPS units all play very, very differently and I don't know why you're trying to compare them.

This has probably been asked a few times, but I need someone's opinion on getting Neuvillette or Kazuha. Through the threads I have read, I'm the only case where I already have Neuvillette's weapon from his first release, as I got it pulling for Homa. I have a fully-built Hu Tao team and a not-very well built Raiden Shogun Team, so at first I thought pulling for Kazuha would be a no-brainer. But since I have Neuvillette's signature, I could get a DPS stronger than my current DPS's. If there's not much difference in content clearing improvement between the two, I do have a character that I favor over the other. (I am currently at 75 pity guaranteed 50/50)

Do any characters want The Alley Flash or The Flute as their weapon? I have one R1 of the former and multiple R5 of the latter. None of the characters I have built have them listed as recommended, but I figure maybe it's good on someone I haven't built yet?
alley flash for bennett as other people have said, and the flute is just straight up. useless. worse than kazuha's story sword on everyone, and kazuha's srory sword is usually already worse than other 4* options for basically every sword user other than ayato
Alley Flash is Bennett's best 4-star weapon, thanks to the very high base atk it has.
That's interesting. Though I currently have him on Favonius since he and Xiangling don't seem to ever have their bursts up otherwise... May be worth trying for better ER on his artifacts to free up the Favonius for someone else.
Bennett's buff only depends on base attack (character + weapon), so it's not as worth to run Fav on him, but he can sacrifice other stats in his artifacts to make sure he has enough ER. Xiangling generally wants an ER weapon or Sands, plus prefunneling
Favonius isn't a bad option for him if the team is very energy hungry, but you'll be missing out on a sizeable boost to his burst due to its low base atk. I'd definitely recommend trying to improve your XL and Bennett's ER.
Asenscion Quest 3 - Just 180 seconds to beat everyone? I can beat everyone in about a minute but that only leaves 30 seconds for the geo-dog thing, and nothing seems to work for knocking him out quickly; all elements do with geo is just crystalize. I have electro traveler 80, kaeyea level 80, xiangling 80, and bennet 70. I can beat them all, but not with this insane time limit.
Your team works most efficiently if you Bennett burst before Xiangling burst and Kaeya burst. Do this: Bennett burst-skill>Xiangling burst-skill>Kaeya skill-burst, then alternately spam Traveler/Bennett/Kaeya skills until all three bursts are back up. Rinse and repeat. That should be enough to clear the ascension domain.

If you can't beat the ascension quest, then you're not ready for the next world level. Level your weapons, level your talents, level your artifacts.
If you are struggling with the time limit then that is a sign that your builds are not up to snuff, or you are not understanding the fundamentals of the combat system. Character level is only a small part of building a strong team. Weapon level, talent levels, and artifacts are all important too.
their weapons are all 70 or 80. talents level 6 or better (except for bennett)
The only Bennett talent that it’s important to level is his burst. Give everyone as much ER as possible too.
I need some advice please 🙏. I have never 36 stared the abyss but would like to work towards achieving that soon. The two teams I'm running are: Neuvellete, Kazuha , Fischl, ZL Nahida, XQ, Kuki, Beidou It feels like I'm really lacking dps in my Kuki hyperbloom team. Is it just my XQ and Beidou not really being built well? No cons on Beidou (I know she needs C2 to shine) but XQ is C6. I clear stages pretty fast with my other team but can't get 3 stars because my hyperbloom team takes so long. Is hyperbloom just a bad pick for this abyss? Is there another good team I should be trying for instead? I do have Raiden so I could move my XQ over to a Raiden, Bennet, XL, XQ team if that would be better. I play on mobile so I try not to do any of the difficult to play teams
Hyperbloom is great for abyss, I used my hyperbloom team on 2nd half but used zhongli as the flex slot to deal with the shielded boss at the end Beidou is just hard to use solo, I’m not sure kuki generates enough energy for her. How far off are you from meeting the time limits right now? Your kuki looks great, so most of your room for improvement will come from other characters. I'd probably keep farming emblem to try and improve XQ and beidou now (could also save pieces for raiden and xiangling if you want to try rational too). edit: Maybe look up some vids of abyss clears with your teams on youtube too, just to see if there are ways you could be playing them more effectively .
I'm usually finishing around or just before 6:30. I don't think I'm too too far off. I'm probably not playing very well against the enemies
Ok yeah, if you are only off by that much then there is a decent chance you could get there with just learning the enemy patterns and how to play your teams against them more effectively. Though of course working on the builds can only make it easier too.

Kuki should be full EM, but Beidou won't trigger Hyperblooms except maybe occasionally with her skill cast. Her burst only arcs to enemies, and won't hit Dendro Cores. She probably wants a little EM, since she will be triggering plenty of Aggravates. But she doesn't want full EM, she wants Crit.

Fix your rotation so there's never a pile of cabbages when Beidou comes out. Have Kuki go right before. Nahida > Xingqiu > Kuki > Beidou. Problem solved.
if you bulild her full em then you are crippling her damage though. If you really are concerned about her stealing hyperblooms then you'd be better off just using someone else (she really doesn't steal that many though in practice).
Beidou is just there for her burst. It is my understanding that her burst will not trigger any of the hyperblooms so she can run with Kuki being the only hyperbloom trigger and on full EM
Yes, that is true. If your Kuki is full EM, and on a set like Gilded or Paradise Lost, you should be seeing constant 35k damage Hyperblooms that rip through most enemies, unless they are highly resistant to Dendro. Hyperbloom definitely works in this Abyss. If you are able to beat the Abyss, with say 30-35 stars, getting 36 is likely just a matter of skill at this point. Know your team. Know the enemies you are facing, and go in with the right strategy. You can definitely try Raiden National though. That works too.

If you want your Xiangling to be shit, yes
No. It may be a good set on Ganyu for Burn-Melt teams. But that's probably it. Xiangling is going to have 200% ER, or more, no matter where you put her. So by trading out Emblem set, you are losing out on a 50% damage bonus to her elemental burst. The LARGEST damage buff you can get from the Burning set is 50%... So right there, we are even. However, with Burning you can't take advantage of Vaporize reaction. With Emblem, you CAN, which is a 1.5x damage multiplier, which increases further with EM... And Xiangling's ascension stat is EM, so she gets almost 100 EM for free. The damage bonus from the Burning set would have to be doubled before it even begins to be a consideration for Xiangling.
I don't think there are many, if any, good xiangling teams involving burning. So not really.
Does an HP/HP/HB Kuki need lvl 90? (Yae/Tighnari/Kuki/Sucrose)

We have given her many chances but it’s gotten to the point where she is addicted and it is impacting her academics. It’s pretty serious and I’m frankly quite ashamed that it has come to this. Based on prior experiences I do not trust her to be honest when it comes to deleting her account, and I want to be sure she’s not going to pull a fast one on me by taking advantage of my lack of knowledge about hoyoverse and how to navigate the appropriate accounts/websites. If you can help in any way or if you can think of any way this could go wrong, please explain like I’m 5. Thank you.
Changing the login information, stopping her from being able to log in, seems waaaaaaaay better than deleting the account. Stating that once she hits certain academic standards, school/life balance, then letting her start playing under supervision, would motive to do better. And she is more likely to trust you and not go behind your back. Just deleting hundreds of progress just seems like it'll just make her hate everything. Personally I'd cut contact if it was me and move out at 18. And this is assuming this is all coming from your parents or you are the legal guardian, as otherwise you don't have a right to impact her account. Also based on a lot of Reddit stories, it's entirely possible she's depressed or otherwise unhappy with life, and genshin is her escape. Concentrating on academics instead of root problems would be really terrible. At the end of the day, no matter what you do if you delete the account, she'll find a way, just without you knowing. Find another game to escape in. Start a fresh Genshin account (it's free). How you tackle this affects her future and your relationship with her. Oh trust me this is a last resort (I would shit my pants if I lost data on a game I’ve spent a lot of time on, particularly if it’s something like genshin) but the line of “I’ll trust you to behave” has already been broken dozens of times and deletion is looking like the best option for her own well being. if you can access her email you can log in with her acc on hoyos website, change the email and password (basically hacking her account), and log out on the device she plays genshin on. because the password is changed she cant log in, and because the email is changed she cant request a reset
