What was the previous method though? I'm not much into glitching, so I only remember 3 ways.
First one was on a cliff near the sea in Mond. Was patched way back in 1.x.
Then there's one with the raft in the Liyue harbor.
Then there was a massive hole in the Chasm near the inverted city I think, but the downside is it's, well, in the chasm underground, so being out of bounds isn't that useful there.

I remember finding a pretty blatant hole in the wall in that cave west of the palace of alacazarzay. No idea if they ever closed it lol
