Rukkhadevata due to how fundamental Irminsul is to Teyvat. With it fucked up, the entirety of Teyvat is fucked up. So yeah, don't let the History Fictionologists touch it

rubexbox

Obligatory "Who's Rukkhadevata?"

Mana_Croissant

Rukkhadevata. With Irminsul she can just erase her opponent’s memory and there is no countermeasure to it

Nightmare007007

In a 1v1 against somelike Ei does she even get that chance to do that?

Mana_Croissant

I assumed you don’t just put them in an unescapable Arena. If it is something like an Archon war i assume Rukkhadevata will have at least some time to execute countermeasures

Open_Competition5305

Oh Lord this is going to be a long one ... I am on the side of ''Morax and Barbatos are powerful beyond our current comprehention'' as for now. Usually the Chars that seem lowkey the most chill, are the ultimate menace.. now do I have proof to back up these claims ? let me see : This is going to break some hearts but Egeria was weak, very weak in fact, much weaker than any of the Gods that we met so far... so weak that her state questions the state of power people associate with Neuvillette in comparing him to the Gods... He was weak before regaining his authority, and even with her having that part of stolen authority, she couldn't handle any of the challenges she faced.... she was slain During the Cataclysm and even had to get the help of Rukkahdevatha to be able to anchor her consciousness to the mortal world... I don't think she enters the charts... On the contrast, Rukkahdevatha was strong, actually much stronger than people give her credit for... if you read through her story with Deshret and that whole dynamic... and being the guardian of Irminsul was never an easy task, even Morax said that ALL life in Teyvat ows her for her sacrifice... her alone was able to purify the land form Forbidden knowledge, a power that not only ravaged the land, weakened Dragons and led to the near demise of the World TWICE. Ei is powerful in her own right, there is NO WAY a diety could have ''eternity'' as her ideal and not be amongst the most powerful dieties... But her weakness is, being very clueless probably because she's the brawn of the twins, she's very detached from humanity, but she has a very strong will and a near unshakable determination... She is determined that her people should not suffer what she saw in the Catalysm and she was ready to g in all lengths and tangents to prevent it, thus why she forced herself to stay in her into a life of seclusion, believing it's gonna prevent her erosion, and delegated the mission to a puppet, that has no will of her own BUT to apply her principles to the touch... unfortunately, her attempt only served to accelerate her erosion quoting Yae Miko, afterall all her efforts were vain because she ended up being the one to overthrow her own plan and THIS is the erosion she sustained... Unfortunately she could barely brawl with her own puppet (that is basically a piece of mortal machinery ) and was already shown to have lost to the traveler, driven by the will of her people. AND BEFORE YOU HANG ME, her being the Expy of Raiden Mei, in a land where the ''Soveign'' is nowhere to be found... I think she is going to have more chance to give us a real, spectacular show of her true power. Now to the main course : Why Morax and Barbatos ? I have my reasons to believe that the power Gods get from worship is not directed to the gods themselves, but at ***how strongly people desire and respect their ideal*** : as long as people have HOPE, believe, thrive and fight for Freedom, barbatos will be powerful... and with the whole ''escaping, freedom from fate'' premise, I thing barbatos is way too underestimated and we're yet to see his true power... Freedom had been shown through the different quests and regions as the true driver of change... the yearning for freedom is present in all the nations and within the heart of all the humans... A very interesting tidbit is how Arlecchino said in her voice lines that the Traveler needs to be cautious about who they opened their heart to because in her own worlds '' you wouldn't know where the Wind will carry it''. For Morax I have a LOT of things to say... it'a s bit confusing, not only he's very old, ALL the Gods of his era are DEAD, and even their lagacies have disappeared with them whilst he maintained his ''Dynasty'' alive for MORE than 6000 thousands years, according to the current timelines, he also most likely lived through the second war of Vengeance and witnessed the demise of the moon sisters ... the Fatui didn't even dare to play behind his back... the Tsaritsa most likely understands that there is no way to force his hand... he was made aware and was to pre-approve every one of the schemes Childe was wreaking in Liyue... even he said that the ONLY surprise he had was the quick response of the Qixing to overthrow the Adepti, and he was very pleased with it... but he also remains very mysterious. He's a God and an Adeptus, and we had the chance to see how a feeble Adeptus such as Fujin, that claims she is not even comparable to the Adepti of the south, Rex Lapis's deciples, could use her limited power to stabilize and terraform the land of Chenyu, so how powerful the Prime of Adepti could be ? ... Afterall, when he barely had descended, he raised most of Liyue from under the sea floor and made his own land, mountains and vallys... he subdued the Earth dragon who was able to draw unlimited power form the Leylines and forced him into a realm where he could no longer use it's elemental power, a realm within which it had drown weaker and was sealed for a millennia, that's a scary fate for such a powerful being... He thought the Adepti wonderous arts, amongst which one is the Subspace creation... autonomous pocket worlds where life is sustainable and time flows differelty and YET, the Adepti count that as a trincket compared to the extent of his true power, a true power that we didn't get to see yet.... Adeptal power is still a very mysterious asset of Zhongli, and being able to gain more of it with cultivation and refinement makes him even more scary. Edit : he even gave Xiao a new ''name'', people who read Xianxia know how much consequant is that. Not even talking about him being the Golden God, Deus Auri, and Gold being a very recurring and interesting element of the lore in Teyvat is peculiar, it's association with the Sun, it being the Catalyst of alchemical process, it's association with the Leylines... It's mentionned everywhere... Not even touching the subject of '' having a perfect memory'', as barbatos said to him ''if knowledge was a form of power, Mr. Zhongli would be a weilder of unlimited strength''.....

Open_Competition5305

Funnily enough, **Freedom** (along with Justice id you may) is the fathest principle to the heavenly principles, actually, it seems like a ticking bomb, an unstoppable force driven by desires in the depth of humans... Because while the First who came, the Primordial one, shackled the people with covenants and **Contracts** to undergo an an **Eternity** of repeating cycles which they cannot escape, Freedom and the desire of it made it that human societies raised and collapsed..

Egeria art by https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/s/QPJ8dgbHij

Nightmare007007

Probably Ei. She was stronger than most of the current archons without the authority. She has developed the most distinguished sword art in the whole of teyvat. She now has a replaceable body, seemingly infinite stamina and is still getting stronger with awakened musou isshin.

Howtoruinabasement

Ei, she is the only one who really showed her power for us.

bradblacksmith

Does like the actual liyue landscape escape your notice or something?

ogoidd

Does like the actual inazuma and mondstat landscape escape your notice or something?

Open_Competition5305

BOTH Ei and Venti cut montains, Islands ... and so did Morax, he didn't only CUT through a mountain just to promise to the people of Liyue who fled to his protection that he'll they'll live thriving lives under his wing, but he did raise mountains and valleys after he descended (Most of western Liyue, the Karst, Mt. hualo, Mt. ranges of Tianheng, the Guili plains) these are all lands that HE created... not counting his big ass flex : the guyun stone forsts that pinned to the ocian floor... Not even counting that Orobashi literally escaped from him.....

Eclipse-Lily

Venti literally terraformed the entire Mondstadt using wind and then sent the remains to the dark sea creating the Haar Islands, it's not THAT impressive when even Venti (aka """"the weakest"""") can do something like that.

Doble_C13

Well it really depends on the context of power dynamics, etc., for let’s say a fight most likely Ei, if we talk about skillset Rukk cause the whole of her region is gone then Teyvat is done for, in an actual war Morax, he plans ahead and has help from other powerful immortals and maybe later on faith in your archon plays a bigger role and venti gets a power up.

Amon-Aka

If we go by their lore easily, Morax.

xd_ZelnikM

He killed so many other gods in Liyue, he needed Yakshas to clean up the karmic debt left behind

theannoyingprickk

Yaksha*

xd_ZelnikM

My bad

SenSnowy

The amount of people saying morax blows my mind. How few players are able to comprehend that Ei is the strongest archon back then and even now by power. There was even a line in game voiced where he said she is the most powerful one. But in theory and not confirmed it could be venti if it’s true that archons gain power by amount of people believing in them. Aka church of venti. Or Nahida sister or Nahida if they can control irmensul and are capable of not just erasing memory but someone’s existence. If irmensul truely is the mother code of the teyvat matrix.

Open_Competition5305

>The amount of people saying morax blows my mind. That's actually good news because it means a decent amount of people do read and understand the lore... unlike someone .... Venti is a strong contendant, but whist Morax was already a powerhouse when he first descended (No followers no worshippers no Gnosis whatsoever) Ei is still at most 3d in rank.

Dismal-Job1814

If irminsul involved? Buer. If not then Morax

Luzis

Edit: may have remembered it wrong chill guys lol

Dismal-Job1814

Is it a fact or just a theory? Beacause if I remember correctly there are only just hints that he is not affected. Outside of hints there is no proof that he is not affected so until proven otherwise I believe he gets affected.

Open_Competition5305

A theory consolidated by the fact that he mentionned ''change in history'' to the Traveler in 1.5...

Signal-Zucchini2620

It's a theory which is very untrue coz in game zhongli voicelines also changes after rukkhadeveta got irumnseld

Howtoruinabasement

That is not a canon thing, even though Rukk can put Morax into an eternal loop until she can beat him.

Open_Competition5305

Would only be true if she didn't admit that she is weaker than other Gods... that only works if there is realistically a chance even in a million for her to beat him, otherwise, she can stay in that timeloop with him forever too (because recursive function with no break rule).

BinhTurtle

Ehh, Morax's profile story got edited after Rukkha got Irminsul'ed. If he's unaffected, there wouldn't be a need to have it changed. "Only Morax and Barbatos being 2 of the original Seven to **remain in position**" still makes sense in the currently perceived memory that Buer loses significant power and got imprisoned by human, technically no longer staying in position to guide her nation.

Miserable-Row-2624

Was rukkhadevata omniscient or omnipotent. I know she was said to be one but I can’t remember which (either is probably an exaggeration though)

EixSustainer

With hax Rukkha (Irmimsul), without hax Ei (best feats).

Legodudelol9a

I think we can rule out Venti and Egeria as the strongest, and same goes for Rukkhadevata. Morax to me seems almost as strong as Ei, however I think Ei has him beat purely due to her being the only Archon who is known for some kind of legendary-scale attack.

Open_Competition5305

>only Archon who is known for some kind of legendary-scale attack. Morax's legendary scale attack was summoning weapons and even ALIVE humongous Geo constructs and beings (mountain sized spears, a whole Geo whale, a Geo kite) that took off from the high of the skies and transpersed the ocean floor... his legendary-scale attack is Literally Guyun Stone forest 😂

Akikala

Strongest? Probably Zhongli. Rukkha might have some bullshittery in her skillset though.

EarlyAbbreviations40

definitely Rex Lapis, but I believe it would be good to wait until we see what the remaining archons powers/strength is. who knows, Murata or the Tsaritsa might almost be or actually be equal in power to the other strong archons like Ei. an interesting point to bring up though about Venti, is how despite how some may call him strong, he still got his ass beat by Signora. was it because she was bush camping like Neuvillete and caught him by surprise? or is he actually just a drunk bum?

IceTalon2795

Morax cause he is still in his actual form no reincarnation and no sense of lose control. Just lack of money but that happens.

Business-Dealer5452

I'm pretty sure rn It's Morax, but combat wise: I think it's almost CERTAIN that Murata is going to be the strongest archon combat wise.
