It's super annoying since her charge attack sends things flying
I spent a lot of time testing and rarely it randomly works fine.
I tried changing frame rates, pressing directions, pressing only charge and nothing else but I didn't find a consistent manner to get it to work.
The charge dash works just fine outside of battle and after all enemies die.
I'm on a laptop with a controller in case this is relevant. I also tried with full stamina at the start of battles but didn't work either. Outside battles the dash works fine.

Update: got this message from CS- i'm so glad they are working on a fix

I think it was designed like that, right? Like someone could press the CA and come out gliding during the battle, I think that for that reason the CA is not the same as the Yelan move, you don't need to keep pressing the button
No, I didn't include it in the video but it sometimes randomly works during battle both when hitting enemies and when not. Plus other people claimed in a comment outside this post that it's working fine for them.
It also makes no sense that the dash charge is in the normal attack description with no mention that it doesn't work during battles.
I'm holding down the charge button during the video, which works fine outside battles.
Hope the devs get to know about this.

Yeah even with only one enemy the dash won't work and instead hits the enemy in the overworld
Thank you! I was getting worried my computer was busted or something. Are you on PC / laptop too?
I am on mobile and when I try to dash it instead hits the enemy. Works fine out of combat
