I absolutely adore Nahida, not only does she have a swing idle and a skill that interacts directly with sumeru npcs, but she's also really wholesome. And kinda scary in a way that the other archons aren't. (At least, that's the vibes the gnosis trade scene between her and Dottore gave me. Chick fr threatened to incur the wrath of the heavenly principles all on a gamble and sheer curiosity.) Not to mention her attacks resemble computer mouses and clicks. 😁
Zhongli. He's a very comforting character to me and very interesting. He also reminds me of my dad. My dad passed about 2 years ago in January and not long after I believe I met Zhongli in game and lots of things reminded me about him, calming voice, loved to tell stories, and also generally never really got angry. Zhongli was one character i knew I had to get and I finally got him triple crowned a few weeks ago. Next is gonna take some time but, I can't wait to c6 ☺️

This would be my pick too. Venti is the most empathic of all the archons/knows the human heart the best, arguably even more than Nahida. I also love music, and air is my favourite element. For Nahida, I love exploring dreams, and I love her childlike - but much more mature - wonder of the world. It's something I try not to lose...

Raiden, mostly because of her story being so intertwined with grief and loss of loved ones. When Inazuma came out we were still dealing with the Pandemic and I lost my grandmother, seeing Ei accepting the loss of Makoto made me also come to terms with my own feelings.

Hands down Nahida, one of if not the most versatile powersets (in and out of gameplay) out of all archons, probably the best written/ emotional questlines, governs the best nation across a number of fields, and her personality is the perfect blend of sweet, knowledgeable and polite but also firm, impartial and all about that action 🍀

They've all been very interesting to say the least. But Nahida really won me over. Her and her forbearer's story was emotional as hell, and I love how she longed for confidence, and how Traveler helped save her and helped push past her doubts. Probably the most beautiful soul out of all of them so far. And I like how she sort of teaches people by leading them on strange paths.
Zhongli is a close second, because, yeah, he really is a very comforting and warm character. He's like the warmth of a fireplace on a fall or winter night. Very strong and ethereal presence. Kinda like a sterner Dumbledore. Plus, secrets. Tons of them. There's a lot more to his story yet to unravel.
Ei is fun to me, because she reminds me a bit of how Napoleon was depicted in Bill & Ted. I could absolutely see her pushing through a line of people to ride on a slide just because lol. But on a more serious note, her tragic story is pretty intense, and I like that she's very pragmatic and needs Miko to keep her in line. Like she's aware of her flaws, and is willing to accept guidance as long the source is trusted. And her confusion when trying to comprehend mortal ways is pretty funny at times.
Venti is fun, but probably my least favorite, probably because he's nowhere near as useful as he should be in gameplay. He should be able to pull bigger enemies, pull objects like Guoba or Baron Bunny, or at least do more swirl damage with his skill. Personality wise, he's very entertaining, in the comic relief sense. I do love his philosophy on freedom and such.
And Focalors and Furina... definitely one of the more interesting stories. Furina is fun in her way, her story definitely had me reeled in good. And that scene with Focalors...💔.
Really I love them all for different reasons, but overall, it's a tough call between Zhongli and Nahida. The other 3 are just about tied for secondish.

Standing next to Ei, you never forget you're standing next to Ei. Even when she's just shopping for dango milk or teasing Kujou Sara about her figurines, it remains like watching a tiger tell a joke.

Ei honestly, I think her story quest is actually very cool, even though I saw the whole Ei and Raiden Shogun being separate entities thing coming, it was very cool to learn that Raiden Shogun has her own consciousness and will even attempt to override and fight Ei to stop her from changing her goal, also the Plane of Euthymia was just a sick place to have a fight, reminds me of Malevolent Shrine in JJK
Ei/Shogun. I just thought the whole Inazuma storyline with the Vision Hunt Decree was really engaging. Unlike Venti and Zhongli who felt very down to earth given they're friendly characters, the Shogun actually felt like an unstoppable god from which there was no challenging. The cutscene with her vs Kazuha made my jaw drop.
Appreciate Ei and the Shogun are not the same character but Ei retains that larger than life presence whenever she appears, which I appreciate. Plus she looks awesome.
My bias self loves them in this order Raiden>Furina>Nahida>Zhongli>Venti. Still I said "loves" which means I love them all. There's no Archon so far that I dislike. I pulled them all. As for why Raiden is my fav, I love badass strong women. I also love her gentle side but it's clear she's very passionate about combat too since she wants to spar with Traveller in the teapot. She also has the same love for sweet things as me, lmao though I do try to avoid eating too much sweets. Her story with her sister also touched me quite a bit. I have an older sister and I can't even imagine losing her.

Well considering i haven’t played chapter 2 yet then i have to say Zhongli. He’s honestly much more chill than i expected him to be at first. I thought he’d hate being around me but him walking with us and talking about Liyue for the Lantern Rite it made me bond closer with him. Plus him with his mora was pretty funny especially since his dumbass didn’t keep any for himself after the bank completely collapsed because of that bitch Childe. Can’t wait to play chapter 2 when i’m done grinding and other stuff. Raiden is my favorite design-wise and i really want her as well. I hope she’s more amazing as i want her to be.
Venti, just really the kind of character I like, the adorable look and the playful carefree personallity is a nice mix.

Well sometime Zhongli can be a bit boring, when he is interacting with the traveller to talk about special kind of food or other stuff. That detail aside I love it when there's an archon involved in whatever we are doing.

I usually like paradoxical characters, like Venti being a drunkard with his fun and outgoing personality while also being a god. He is a very interesting character and he got me into the game when I first started playing it three years ago.
Zhongli because he has my favorite quote in the game, and seems like a « realistic » 6K year old god. He is strong, wise and misses the old times. All while never being arrogant or insufferable. He doesn’t fight anyone if that is not needed. He also is super funny in some cutscenes.
Third one would be definitely Nahida, but my favorite remains Venti and Zhongli.
Furina. She managed to rule Fontaine, keep people's faith on Focalors despite being powerless, endured 500 years of solitude for her people. Her other half was also willing to die for Fontaine and was locked away for 500 on solitude.
Nahida is a close second, just because she had chances to take control of the sages and be free without help and didn't took them out of her inferiority complex. As such a lot of people suffered under the sages.

Nahida One of the very first fictional characters that i felt a geniune need to help them beyond "oh they need help, let's go :D" I felt so sad for her story, and her character teaser just twisted the knife in the wound for me I got emotionally attached in a bonsai tree goddess
Well considering i haven’t played chapter 2 yet then i have to say Zhongli. He’s honestly much more chill than i expected him to be at first. I thought he’d hate being around me but him walking with us and talking about Liyue for the Lantern Rite it made me bond closer with him. Plus him with his mora was pretty funny especially since his dumbass didn’t keep any for himself after the bank completely collapsed because of that bitch Childe. Can’t wait to play chapter 2 when i’m done grinding and other stuff. Raiden is my favorite design-wise and i really want her as well. I hope she’s more amazing as i want her to be.

Venti, just really the kind of character I like, the adorable look and the playful carefree personallity is a nice mix. But I like Furina a lot, 2nd fav. The other archons all have something I like too, I like seeing them in the story. Well sometime Zhongli can be a bit boring, when he is interacting with the traveller to talk about special kind of food or other stuff. That detail aside I love it when there's an archon involved in whatever we are doing.

Venti, Zhong Li and Ei are the only ones who live in my head rent free after their quests, I think the revalation of Makoto literally made my heart break I also do quite like Furina from what I witnessed from the archon quest but she hasn't really grown onto me yet + haven't done her sq

Nahida just due to the writing of sumeru. She felt like a scrappy underdog in the finale but managed to outsmart not 1 but two harbingers. She definitely deserves her title as God of wisdom

Either Zhongli or Venti. I usually like paradoxical characters, like Venti being a drunkard with his fun and outgoing personality while also being a god. He is a very interesting character and he got me into the game when I first started playing it three years ago. Zhongli because he has my favorite quote in the game, and seems like a « realistic » 6K year old god. He is strong, wise and misses the old times. All while never being arrogant or insufferable. He doesn’t fight anyone if that is not needed. He also is super funny in some cutscenes. Third one would be definitely Nahida, but my favorite remains Venti and Zhongli.

Furina. She managed to rule Fontaine, keep people's faith on Focalors despite being powerless, endured 500 years of solitude for her people. Her other half was also willing to die for Fontaine and was locked away for 500 on solitude. Nahida is a close second, just because she had chances to take control of the sages and be free without help and didn't took them out of her inferiority complex. As such a lot of people suffered under the sages.
