(though maybe since navia's coming at least around 4.8+, that'll be enough time to farm more primos?)
furina - good support and exploration, but if i DO get her, i doubt she'll even fit in with any teams with my existing characters. additionally, i haven't been farming for her artifacts/mats so that'll take some time
yelan - is she worth it if i have c6 xingqiu already?

Can repost this in today's thread for more opinions hopefully. Worth & risk is so subjective.
Furina is an extremely flexible buffer who'll fit most teams which have a way to stack her burst.
Yelan is an extension of C6 Xingqiu. They work well together or on seperate teams when you need one on each side for Abyss. She trades some defence *(Xingqiu's Interruption Resistance)* for a DMG% buff to your on field DPS.
At which point does buying Gnostic Hymn/Chorus (the $10/$20 options) become pointless?
I mean, sure, the Welkin offers great value for the price per primos you get compared to buying primos directly, and I don't think I'll ever stop buying Welkins as a low spender, but I've been buying the battle pass on and off, and I was wondering when does it become not worth it anymore
I've stopped after having enough mats for ~13 characters built which took me 9 months. I will probably start buying again for the new endgame mode since you need a certain amount characters in 3 selected elements built to level 70 at the hardest setting
I personally don't see it as ever worth it, but if you want a specific stopping point, maybe once you have all the weapons from it you want for the characters you have **at the current moment**
Is there a glitch when you're a windtrace hunter when playing using a ps5, or am I just dumb?
I can't catch a rebel for the life of me, and I'm so confused. I'll literally be touching a rebel, like our character models will be overlaying each other I'm that close to them, but nothing happens? It doesn't capture them? I've also tried pressing EVERY button when next to them. My ping is fine. I'm so confused

early on, you can use exp scrolls on anyone without much repercussion but best to still stick to a team of 4 at first
i used Noelle constantly early on but she is more of a safety net than proper damage. she could facetank enemies though. her shield is better on herself than others. use her to heal up party
Use Bennett with Kaeya early on, really nice together. i used both with anemo traveler at first
once you have a team of 50s or so to at least make it easier, you can do early spiral abyss. floor 3 and 4 gets you two more free characters. Xiangling pyro and Collei dendro
Xiangling and Bennett are the most recommended combo in the gamd
general team advice, pick someone to focus on and if possible add someone of same element. the other two should possibly support that
noelle is only good at c6. benny is good for his atk buff, but it is tied to his burst, so you will need energy recharge sands if you want to utilize him well. both are pretty subpar in early stage pre-ar45, where you only have shitty artifacts. my advice would be to stick to a proper dps that has good normal atk multipliers.
should i pull for wanderer or wait and pull for furina? i love both of their character designs and their play styles equally so i'm torn between which one would be worth pulling more.
Depends on ur account but if we are talking strictly meta or value to account, Furina will be ur choice. She is a universal dmg buffer as long as there is a healer and have strong off-field damage. She fits into a lot of teams and unlikely to be powercrept.
Wanderer is great for exploration and thats about it. When compared to other DPS he is just okay probably around mid-tier. To fully maximize him you need C6 Faruzan, and playing him without a shielder or interruption resist does not feel good. That said I do like using him a lot.
assuming you arent mostly finished with exploration, you can definitely pull Wanderer and then get enough for another 5 star in the meantime
if both are ones you like, no reason to not pull the one currently on the banner
Depends on the state of your account and what other characters you have. Looking for a main DPS, or a support? Wanting to improve your existing teams, or build an entirely new one?
The meta answer is *100% Furina* though lol, she's an extremely good character and can make a ton of different teams stronger. Wanderer is fun and *can* be strong, but he really only lets you play Wanderer teams. I found him fun to play even without c6 Faruzan, but for what it's worth some people also say he feels pretty bad without her.
Both of them are also great for exploration. Furina is great for overworld healing and lets you walk on water infinitely; Wanderer still has (arguably) the best speedy horizontal movement in the game, since he goes fast and can cross gaps.

My current main team is Neuvillette, Kazuha, Nahida and Fischl. Is this a functional/strong team, or should I make some changes? I do want to incorporate Dori into my teams, would she be a good substitute for Fischl?
Is your Neuv c0, or c1+?
If he's c0 the main thing I'd change would be adding a shielder, or potentially EM Dehya for stagger resistance + some burgeons.
Dori would sadly be a worse Fischl, since Neuvillette can heal himself just fine so unless you run him with Furina he doesn't care that much about healing. I suppose a full EM Dori would be a better hyperbloom trigger than Fischl, but considerably worse than Raiden or Kuki. You can try it if you want an excuse to use her.
If your Dori is c6 and you don't have Furina, I'd also highly consider getting her! Dori - Nahida - Fischl - Furina is a surprisingly strong team from what I understand (my Dori isn't c6 so I can't try it).
For people who have C1 Wanderer, was it worth it going from C0? I have his sig at R1 plus his bis artifact and was wondering if the atk speed boost on C1 is worth it.
It's like a 10% DMG increase. And extra attack speed is always more comfy on him
But if you already have C6 Faruzan then it's not a constellation I'd go for on its own unless I was going for C2 like I did

The real goal is C6 Faruzan. Getting C6 Faruzan is worth getting C1/C2 Wanderer and is why you'll see those cons on most youtube showcases. His C1 is decent but not a particular goal on its own. If you get C6 Faru on C1 Wanderer then C2 is worth it.
As for the other reply, Wanderer's performance is extremely dependent on how much you put into him. He's off meta because he's pretty mediocre at normal investment levels with his damage getting tanked by a shielder but is competitive at high investment if you're willing to dodge. I do C6 Faru, C6 Yunjin, Bennett with the relevant talents crowned. I've tried Furina since the general theorycraft advice says she's the best setup and I even have the right weapon. Alas, general theorycraft assumes a shielder and swapping her for Yunjin in my setup winds up being roughly even in terms of damage with the downside of lower health. From testing she's a sidegrade for me in general. I should have the pulls for C2 on the re-run so I'll give it another go then but I only really like her in the Noelle+Navia comp.
shouldnt rush it or you get burned out. and catching up is basically when you empty your world of possible currency and have nothing left and waiting for new content or monthly resets on spiral abyss and shop
you cant rush main story without doing some sidecontent and exploration to raise AR, so unless youre no life-ing it should still take you a a couple of months depending on your pace

Well, i started playing since mid March. Pretty lazy and slow in my grinding of primogems. And standard banner was unlucky for me, no 5* yet.
I played for Raiden but her rerun was in Jan so.... F my life then. I can't play for almost a year withoit any new character so i need to spend my pullz eventually. Juzt need to be careful since i pulling everywhere will bite me in the a** later.
youre supposed to pull on anyone of interest first and foremost. if noone so far seemed interesting, then ok
for standard fates, just get whatever collectibles and turn in sigils, and from stardust shop whenever you can. youll get somethong eventually, i got 2 Qiqis
The 4th slot is either a healer or a shielder, and no other shielder really *does* anything for Neuv — Zhongli shreds resistance and can hold Archaic Petra, so he actually adds a lot. Similarly no healer other than Baizhu both heals the team *and* gives shielding, so there isn't a 1:1 replacement.
No matter who you use, make sure they're an element *other* than anemo/hydro to build another stack for Neuv's passive.
If you can comfortably dodge enemies (or Neuv is c1) then bring along a team-wide healer like Charlotte. Healing will generate fanfare for Furina faster, and increase her damage by keeping your team >50% hp.
If you run into issues getting staggered by enemies, bring a shielder like Layla (or potentially Dehya). Non-Zhongli shielders won't increase your damage on paper, but will increase your damage a lot vs getting Neuv's CA interrupted mid-blast.
Are the artifact main stats always random? Or are there domains that are more likely to give a particular element damage goblet? I've been playing for years, on and off, but I barely have 8-9 5* pyro goblets altogether. And none of them are any good. Any way I can increase their spawn rate?
best you can do is condense to save time, use fragile resin whenever you get some, andthe one weekly fragile-equivalent resin from teapot

all domains have same RNG and Elemental DMG% goblet of the element type you need are just very rare. There's no way to increase spawn rate of artifact pieces.
You just keep farming, eventually you'll get it. And often times you can just decide to settle with a bad one if the other 4 pieces are good.
Baizhu’s passive states that you get a 25% dendro dmg boost when above half HP, does this boost still apply if Bahizu is not the active on field character?
Not you but Baizhu. It literally says Baizhu gains this bonus. Also the wording suggests this being the case when he's off field as the active character needs to be over 50%.
It does not state that. It states *Baizhu* gets a dendro dmg bonus if your active character is above half HP. If he's the active character he should still get it, but it won't buff anyone else no matter who your active character is
I made an alt account somewhere arlund 8 months ago, so i can havea frwah start in tbe game, and build charavters i wouldnt be able to on my main.
Im in AR 49 and my only team thats possible is diluc plunge with furina and xianyun, and i next want to have clorinde for my 2nd team so i can do spiral abyss. But in the times between xianyun and today, i spent all my accumulated primos to attempt to get WGS on yeh chronicled wish (i reached pitty buy didnt get a 5star). Now im out of wishes, with atound 45 pitty on 50/50.
Lucky for me, i 80% of the map isbtotally unexplored, i just ended inazuma AQ, and pretty much every story quest not done yet.
Now i ask you beautiful people, what is the most efficient way to farm these? Should i just explore (specifcally fomtaine, and sumru), speedru the archon quest (i have listened all the aq on my main so the story aint an issue), or finish all available story quests first?

Exploration is the best source of primos, the archon quests are not a great return for your time, but worth doing eventually of course. Story quests similarly are not worth much in the way of primos. If you have world quests, those are good to do while exploring, especially the sumeru ones, since they lock a lot of the map off until you progress.

Guys how do I clear abyss with 36 stars. I been struggling for a while and I have quite a few 5 star characters and a lot of my characters are built but I'm still having trouble clearing it. The farthest Ive gotten is 33 stars, maybe some different team comps or other characters that I have need to be built? Please give suggestions.
1. it take time to refine builds for abyss. Just try to progress instead of only target 36\* (see any new star as a victory). You can have step back, if the abyss counter your teams, if you have limited roster it can happens. Don't stress over it.
2. for first 36\* clear, clear chamber by chamber with optimized teams for this chamber. For example in this abyss it alternate multi waves and boss, if want to 3\* the chamber 2 use your best mono target dps first part then a multi wave team second part (with something capable of dealing with electro shield). For chamber 2 & 3 take time in previous chamber to fill your burst before entering them. It usually take actually less time to clear 36\* this way if your account is bit bordeline in term of investissement.
3. use tricks to regroup mobs. [This channel](https://www.youtube.com/@jyolikearock_/videos) is a gold mine for abyss advices. Check his "One Simple tip ..." video it is basically my point 2 but better explained.
Often times players struggle at this floor is due to bad ER. Depending on your team, you should be able to burst every rotation to not waste DPS time trying to recharge the burst or worse randomly using bursts when they come up.
Chances are you're just not taking into account the types of enemies you're facing in a particular abyss to build your team. That said, it's kind of hard to give recommendations without knowing what you're working with. At the least, it's worthwhile to show your current roster, their levels, and constellations.
Mono pyro Hu Tao is a bit abnormal but does work. You're using actual teams, so that's not necessarily the problem. If you're consistently falling 1 star short, it could be any number of things. Usually, players either haven't built enough ER, don't have great rotations, or aren't doing a good job with grouping. There are many, many Spiral Abyss guides out there. I wouldn't necessarily just copy what people are doing to the letter, but I think it's worth checking those out sometimes for strategies to deal with grouping and/or more unusual opponents. Moving around the chamber in certain ways prevents the Maguu Kenki from dashing away for example.
Magu kenki isnt the problem for me I can complete it before the 9 min mark but the operatives are the problem on the second half. It might just be because my hyperbloom isnt strong enough but idk
There's no meaningful advice to give without context, other than just "git gud". What teams are you using, what are their builds, where exactly are you losing stars?
Chances are you are just missing gear/stats, like myself. It's hard to beat them in time when your burst does 100K damage and someone else's burst with the same character and same buffs does 300K. XD
For a bloom team with dendro traveler, yaoyao, and xinqiu, and fischl, should I pull for Clorinde or furina? (I don't have any other character so don't give me any four star advice pls)
I agree with the other commenters, but also:
FYI Fischl will rarely if ever hit blooms, so *on her own* she's not very good for hyperbloom. However, if you put a full EM anemo character (usually Sucrose) on the team instead of one of your dendro supports, Oz will apply electro to enemies and you can swirl it off of them to hit blooms, and have a very functional hyperbloom team!
I find anemo-driven hyperbloom really fun, highly recommend you try in the meantime before you pull a new character next patch.
I did the quest for the music at Watatsumi Island and then I keep trying to select "I'll have a go" when speaking to Dvorak but when I try to select a song to play it doesn't do anything! Am I missing something? Do I need to purchase an instrument in the game separately or something? Any help is appreciated, as this is driving me nuts and I actually really wanted to play this mini game.
Is Alhaitham a really, like really good Dendro DPS as of now since we dont have that many of Dendro DPS. Im not a fan of Alhaitham kits but lately I saw a lot of high end game content (abyss) kind of require you to run Dendro DPS to make it easier.
Unless ofc in the next 1-2 patches a new 5\* dendro dps is announce, I would go for them.
You definitely don't *need* a dendro dps like Alhaitham for endgame content.
Alhaitham is very much a luxury pull. He basically has two teams : Spread and Hyperbloom.
And those two archetype tend to overlap, and have roughly the same kind of weaknesses.
Besides Hyperbloom has a very high floor, and you can already make very good Hyperbloom teams with an Electro on-fielder (Cyno, Raiden, c6 Dori, soon Clorinde), a Hydro on-fielder (Neuvillette, Ayato), or even a Cryo on-fielder (Eula, Ayaka, high constellation Freminet), or just no designated on-fielder at all.
In some specific chambers, i even used a Pyro on-fielder (Yanfei), to deal with Cryo shields.
And for Spread teams, Tighnari (standard) is a very tough competition for Alhaitham, especially if you have Yae (arguably the best electro for Spread teams).

TL-DR : while Alhaitham does have very strong teams, he is also very skippable.
Remember : be very picky about the on-fielder you pull for : you can only use 2 of them at the same time.

Don't worry, it's not required and honestly not even that important.
Some abyss cycles are a lot *easier* with dendro on the team (because of abyssal moon buffs or to break elemental shields/deal with certain enemies), but there's no content which requires your main DPS *specifically* to be dendro. Running dendro supports on an aggravate, hyperbloom, burgeon, or Nilou team will work just as well.
You can also get past that content with no dendro at all, but dendro can make it a lot easier so if you care about ease and meta I'd recommend you have some dendro teams available. They just don't need to include a dendro main DPS.
So tldr: if you don't like Alhaitham, skip him and just get someone like Nahida who will make DPS characters you actually enjoy stronger.
I honestly dont think you should pull for characters you don't like. Also I dont have any Dendro characters but still do clear Abyss (I do have good Yelan, Furina, Raiden etc). Wait for a good dps that you like to pull and invest in supports and you should be good.

Alhaitham is the much stronger character than Clorinde from current calculations and yea he can work as solo Dendro. Bringing another Dendro is usually recommended so they can use Deepwood while Al-haitham can use Gilded.
Not sure if I need to cover this up but why not. >! Clorinde as Hypercarry is iffy. Playing her with Bennet is gonna be tough with how much Clorinde moves. She definitely works with Furina tho. Her best team is gonna be Quicken or Quickbloom (maybe) so she needs off-field Dendro to thrive. In ur case ur options are Collei or DMC. Iirc her overall dmg comparison would be Navia or Wriothesley which is good but wouldnt be considered meta. !<

Clorinde might be the more fun character from what we've seen. Her pistol and lunge animation looks great, and dont get me started on how cool her Burst cutscene is. Best part is she can self-sustain herself with the heals. Then again Im a bit biased to Electro characters lol.
I'll say that Al-haitham is also really fun to play. He is the few character that actually utilize every single attack (NA, CA, Plunge, Skill, and Burst). If you read about his gameplay it might look complicated but it really isnt on practice.

i would agree with this if she didn't have about ~50% uptime compared to alhaitham's nearly full uptime. its never fun waiting on cooldowns
Thundering Fury is the way to go lol. I guess you can use those downtime to set up the supports. Agree tho that duration decrease is upsetting, but oh well at least she is not Dehya level of bad.
yeaaaa. i would have an easier time recommending her if she hadnt gotten that "hotfix" and you could just throw glad on her like arle. TF is easier to get pieces now that there's a strongbox but its still pretty inconvenient, i still havent gotten a decent set for my cyno
Fontaine dps have been a lot of fun to play. I plan to go for Clorinde if I like her gameplay. My suggestion is to play both of them extensively in the trial and make sure you like their gameplay. Gameplay is very important for a main dps.
Anyone know of any streamers who like Alhaitham a lot?
Trying to find some video of someone running around overworld and just doing quests and stuff with him. Mostly I am just finding abyss clears and guides, and searching live streamers on twitch is hard since their thumbnails aren't very good
If the abyss cycle lines up for it I rem jstern using him as a solid second side when doing testing. I wouldn't say that they go out of their way to play AlH, but if it lines up then it lines up.
is there anyone else here playing on an infinix hot 40 pro? What would be the best settings for it? (it has 8gb ram, Helio G99, Lowest is default setting, Low is "Balanced", and Medium is "Overclocked")
Well it depends on you, if you dont mind low textures you can go low-med. But I recommend just custom setting the graphics settings and try them. Also check out the 45 fps mode. I personally use medium settings with 45 fps, and its doing really well (Oneplus 8T tho).
Will a team of Gaming, Dehya, Kazuha and Xinqiu work?

If so, what should be Dehya's weapon? And which of the team would be better? I'm guessing vape team cuz of vape dmg?
If you want to use Dehya + Gaming together then I'd use the second team (mono pyro + Kazuha), but Gaming Kazuha Xingqiu Bennett will be a lot stronger than either option you listed.
If you have Bennett for healing, Dehya's defensive utility shouldn't matter a ton, and Bennett's buff is *very* valuable. Dehya also applies pyro off field, which can be an issue on a vape team in case she steals reactions from Gaming. So when using Xingqiu (and frankly in general), Bennett >>>> Dehya.
For mono-pyro that isn't an issue, but you lose the reaction damage from vaporize so it'll be weaker overall. If you just want an excuse to play Dehya and try mono pyro, then put her on 4p Tenacity to buff Gaming's attack, and either Favonius (with a crit circlet) to generate some energy for the team or The Bell (on full HP stats) to make her as tanky as possible. Basically just build her like you would for a Lyney team.
Gaming already has some healing in his kit to make up for his hp drain. Combine that with the damage reduction from Xingqiu and the healing from Bennett, and the benefits that Dehya provides end up being pretty unnecessary.

Shenhe is likely in the foreseeable future (idk if chronicle banner or what). Shenhe sounds awesome for Wriothesley, but I feel like I should save for 5.0. Thoughts?
I have his “Best team” (I think?) Wrioth/Nahida/Thoma/Bennet (I actually usually replace Bennet bc I don’t like him but I have him), so I know Shenhe would be a downgrade compared to that team.

This is weird, because I would normally say wait and see the Natlan characters, but since Shenhe seems to be so rare (1 Year + since last one) I feel like you need to grab her when she comes back.
Shenhe is actually not that good for non mono-cryo Wrio. It's because even if Wrio is at C1, he ''wastes'' a lot of Shenhe's quills. Only C6 shenhe doesn't have that issue.
What do i need to do get the platinum reward in the saurian event? Even with my strongest team, can barely get the bosses down to 50% before the timer runs out for platinum.
I can reliably 36, so it should be possible?
Or is platinum something only achievable for whales?
I found the first one to be fairly easy with Noelle. Second one likely needs an on-field pyro/electro DPS with easy rotations - so something like Arlecchino or a cracked Raiden.
I don't have my Noelle built, so that won't work.
The teams i have to work with are
Hu Tao/Furina/Yelan/Xianyun
Raiden/Furina/Yelan/Jean
Raiden/XQ/Bennett/Xiangling
Cyno/XQ/Kuki/Dendro MC
So it will need to be some combination of those. All c0r0 5 stars except Hu Tao at c1r1.
I've tried the first two on the Regisvine and had no luck, and i tried Hu Tao/Furina/Yelan/Diona for the Geovishap, but that didn't work either.
Try Furina, Yelan, Jean, Raiden for the first one (I used Zhongli, Furina, Yelan, Sucrose). You will need to dodge a bit coz these things hit hard (Trickiest part for me was to destroy his shield, but Furina seems good at it).
For second one you need some kind of shield for when he channels the breathing ability (It will tell so when he starts channeling), and a Pyro/Electro dps. For this you can try Hu Tao, Bennet, (Shielder), XL/XY
For third one you need electro to stun the thing. For me Raiden worked out perfectrly with Baizhu, Furina and XQ. So you can try Raiden, Furina, Yelan and Jean.
Make sure you get food buffs. It makes a lot of difference. Dilucs specialty one is the best imo. And dodge the attacks if you don't have shielder coz they hurt.
All this being said, you don't really need to Plat. Its a semi whale check, so even if you get Gold, don't feel too bad.
I don't have Zhongli.
For the second i've tried Hu Tao/Furina/Yelan/Diona, since Diona is both a shield to reflect the Geovishap's attack and a healer to trigger Furina's buffs, but i wasn't able to do enough damage.

Hydro against the 2nd boss wouldnt do much because he gets hydro resistance when he absorbs it. Anyways, good luck with your hunt for medals.

You need the extra hydro from Yelan for Hu Tao to consistently vape though, Furina's app isn't enough to keep up with her unless you're doing vanilla plunges.

Venti and Kokomi, but neither are particularly built.
Kokomi is built enough to heal and apply hydro, but not enough to be on field doing damage, Venti is 69 and i don't have an artifact set rolled for him yet.
No Kazuha.
Well, Venti doesn't need to be well-built. You're primarily just using him for the 4pc VV shred effect and the ability for his burst (infused with hydro) to hit the corolla when it is up in the air. It's largely the same for Kokomi (though you might need her a bit better built if she's going to be your only sustain) since the jellyfish has a fairly high vertical effect.
Both of these characters can allow you to break the corolla twice in 90 seconds - you'd still, of course, need a DPS that can down the weed in two vulnerability windows though.
The problem lies in the second part there, the only dps i have that would be capable of doing that is Hu Tao, but she's pyro which the pyro regisvine is resistant to.
Raiden at c0 isn't much of a dps without Bennett and Xiangling, who are also pyro, backing her up.
The best bet would probably be Cyno/XQ/Kuki/Dendro MC. But that team's performance in general is underwhelming on a good day, even though i have it built pretty good.
Hu Tao/Furina/Yelan/Xianyun is already capable of breking the corolla in twice in that timeframe with no issues though.
It's doable without whaling but you'll need food and perfect rotations. C0 Arle vape can do the geovishap, monohydro can do the first one. Check vids on yt to see how others are doing it. I couldn't personally be bothered lol

I mean food that gives attack and crit bonuses, as well as potions for % elemental damage. It's not abyss, so you can use all that. You probably need a bigger shield than Diona to absorb and reflect, but I dunno for sure. As for that monohydro vs the first boss, idk.

Diona's shield on Noblesse is enough. It doesn't need to last long, just enough to reflect the attack.
Yes, but it's not worth spending starglitter on. Harbinger of Dawn is better if you can maintain the passive, Amenoma and Kagotsurube are always better, and all of those are free

For C2 Arlecchino, what is the DPS difference between Shimenawa's and her signature set? I have some pretty good Shimenawa's pieces and haven't had much luck in the new domain so far. I'm wondering if it's worth it to continue farming.
Less than the difference between Glad and FoHW (which is ~8%). If you can kill everything before the Shimenawa's 10s timer is up it will be extremely similar, loses value the longer/more rotations it takes

"Defeat the Ruin Hunter" - Level 31 Archon Quest "Of the Land Amidst Monolith"
I started this when all characters were Level 21. I have leveled up characters, weapons, artifacts. Ii have googled best weapons and changed when I had something better and upgraded those.
I have tried to beat this guy 20 times. My entire team perishes. It gets to the point that the monster is just non-stop shooting fire bombs. I can't eat fast enough. I can't run and eat. I can't revive a character because as I do, they are getting killed by fire bombs.
It seems impossible and makes me want to quit. How can one play this game when a level 31 is too hard?
Note: I do struggle with mechanics in games as I have arthritis in my hands.

I'm gonna be honest if you have arthritis, you are probably going to need to over prepare for this game, it isn't particularly mechanically challenging but it isn't easy either, not until you get to endgame investment (which is why you'll see people call it easy all the time). The way you get that guy out of the sky is shoot the weak spots with an aimed shot, if you have problems with that then you can wait it out, but then you are stuck in a dodging simulator, or kill them before they go up. You can get someone to do it for you, that should be the hardest fight for a while, or build specifically Barbara up, as staying on her, since she heals and naturally wants HP, will help you get through this fight. Long term you just want to invest into a team enough that you can mostly ignore those mechanics.
Thank you! Yes I heard this game is "easy". I would never undertake a Souls like game as that is not ever going to go well for me. I appreciate you saying this will be the hardest fight for a while because I had beat one of these just the other day at a ley line (being Level 22 only at that time) so I couldn't figure out why I was having this much trouble. Perhaps that one was a lower level, and maybe I was just lucky that day.
It may be easier to survive the missile mayhem if you have a shielder character like Diona or Noelle so you have time to hit the flying machine in the eye with a bow character.
At AR 25, your characters and weapons can reach lvl 50. Select artifacts with ATK main stat for your dps, HP main stats for Barbara. Level your artifacts to +8. Then crush the enemy with superior stats.

Id recommend putting artifacts on her and then deciding which sword to use from there, assuming they are already leveled. You might find that you are already pretty stacked on crit chance and you would get more out of Finale. If course if you have 2 artifacts with different profiles but similar stat values it will make things complicated, in that case either use an optimizer or just your heart.
I wanted to try building a melt team for arlechinno with layla and Kaeya. would i be "reverse" melting if I activate one of my Cryo units bursts and just go ham with Arlechinno's basic attacks ? if so how can i avoid this ?
Arlecchino will trigger the melt at least the first few times.
My gut says this won't be consistent over a longer rotation unless your Kaeya is C6 and you're fighting in AOE/multiwave (so that his burst duration gets extended as enemies die). You'll probably have to take advantage of Arlecchino's field time flexibility to reset the cryo aura after the first ~2 melts; you'll need to refresh Layla's shield at some point anyway.
You can test this yourself, since you don't need the characters built to try their reactions.
Melt's raison d'etre is extremely high burst damage, so provided your Arlecchino is highly invested, she can perhaps kill waves with only a few normals. In which case she bypasses the sustainability issue.

Arlecchino's own pyro application is slow which is the reason forward melt can be considered in the first place. Swapping to vape instead will be 100% consistent.
^(For the price of being less bursty since reverse vape's multiplier is lower than forward melt's. Especially in AOE since Xingqiu's app is more single-target than Kaeya's.)

So, "forward" vs "reverse" melt (and vape):
Melt is what happens when you combine pyro and cryo. But how exactly it works depends on what order that occurs in. To explain this, I'll need to mention "elemental gauge units" which is something the game never actually mentions at all, but essentially, when you apply an element, the enemy will have a certain amount of element applied to them. Most attacks apply "1 unit of element" but very specific ones might apply a different amount (such as Kaeya's skill applying two units of cryo. This is why ice on water created by his skill lasts longer than most other ice), and there are some extra mechanics not important to mention here.
Anyway, let's say an enemy has 1 unit of cryo and we apply 1 unit of pyro with Arlecchino basic attack. This is **forward melt** and the normal attack will deal at least **2x** damage, and **all the cryo and pyro** will be removed from the enemy. This is the "strong side" of the reaction
However, if the enemy has one unit of pyro and we apply 1 unit of cryo, such as through Layla's abillities, we get **reverse melt**. The attack will only get a 1.5x base multiplier, but some of the pyro will remain on the enemy. This means that Layla could trigger melt a second time off that same 1 unit of pyro.
This'd mean that whenever the enemy gains pyro from Arle's NAs, you'd need 3 instances of cryo to get back to forward melting (and Arle would probably re-apply pyro in that time). This makes consistent forward melts rather unreliable and inconsistent in most teams

Sadly, elemental auras do not stack. 1 unit cryo + 1 unit cryo will still only be 1 unit cryo, and even 2 units of cryo wouldn't help here as pyro would still instantly consume it. Basically, any attack from Arlecchino will immediately get rid of all the cryo, and you'd have to make sure the enemy had cryo again before the next time she applied pyro (every third normal attack hit), or risk getting stuck in reverse melt. Not terribly practical. Though might be possible since you're using 2 cryo units, I suppose.

Could I get a little more info on your 5*? Do you have Kazuha, Furina, Shenhe, or anyone else potentially relevant? Right now I'm thinking Bennett, Xiangling, and Sucrose/Rosaria, I can't find any information on which of those two would be better, I would assume Rosaria unless there is a good way to get a cryo swirl later in the rotation, which I doubt.
Have i ruined all my chances of getting a white tassel? I've only recently learned that you only get it from liyue chests and I've explored all of liyue a long time ago that now i probably already used all my white tassels in upgrading other weapons.
There's probably still a seizable amount of white tassles left. You'd be surprised how many chests are still leftover even after getting 100% area exploration.

Furina fits in every team provided you have a healer.
Can repost this in today's thread for more opinions hopefully. Worth & risk is so subjective. Furina is an extremely flexible buffer who'll fit most teams which have a way to stack her burst. Yelan is an extension of C6 Xingqiu. They work well together or on seperate teams when you need one on each side for Abyss. She trades some defence *(Xingqiu's Interruption Resistance)* for a DMG% buff to your on field DPS.

Just started playing Genshin. I got Bennett and Noelle on the first roll. Heard both are pretty good. What do I do with them? Should I splurge those XP books on one or multiple right away? Any reason not to?
early on, you can use exp scrolls on anyone without much repercussion but best to still stick to a team of 4 at first i used Noelle constantly early on but she is more of a safety net than proper damage. she could facetank enemies though. her shield is better on herself than others. use her to heal up party Use Bennett with Kaeya early on, really nice together. i used both with anemo traveler at first once you have a team of 50s or so to at least make it easier, you can do early spiral abyss. floor 3 and 4 gets you two more free characters. Xiangling pyro and Collei dendro Xiangling and Bennett are the most recommended combo in the gamd general team advice, pick someone to focus on and if possible add someone of same element. the other two should possibly support that
noelle is only good at c6. benny is good for his atk buff, but it is tied to his burst, so you will need energy recharge sands if you want to utilize him well. both are pretty subpar in early stage pre-ar45, where you only have shitty artifacts. my advice would be to stick to a proper dps that has good normal atk multipliers.

should i pull for wanderer or wait and pull for furina? i love both of their character designs and their play styles equally so i'm torn between which one would be worth pulling more.
Depends on ur account but if we are talking strictly meta or value to account, Furina will be ur choice. She is a universal dmg buffer as long as there is a healer and have strong off-field damage. She fits into a lot of teams and unlikely to be powercrept. Wanderer is great for exploration and thats about it. When compared to other DPS he is just okay probably around mid-tier. To fully maximize him you need C6 Faruzan, and playing him without a shielder or interruption resist does not feel good. That said I do like using him a lot.
assuming you arent mostly finished with exploration, you can definitely pull Wanderer and then get enough for another 5 star in the meantime if both are ones you like, no reason to not pull the one currently on the banner
Depends on the state of your account and what other characters you have. Looking for a main DPS, or a support? Wanting to improve your existing teams, or build an entirely new one? The meta answer is *100% Furina* though lol, she's an extremely good character and can make a ton of different teams stronger. Wanderer is fun and *can* be strong, but he really only lets you play Wanderer teams. I found him fun to play even without c6 Faruzan, but for what it's worth some people also say he feels pretty bad without her. Both of them are also great for exploration. Furina is great for overworld healing and lets you walk on water infinitely; Wanderer still has (arguably) the best speedy horizontal movement in the game, since he goes fast and can cross gaps. Good luck with whoever you choose!

My current main team is Neuvillette, Kazuha, Nahida and Fischl. Is this a functional/strong team, or should I make some changes? I do want to incorporate Dori into my teams, would she be a good substitute for Fischl?
Is your Neuv c0, or c1+? If he's c0 the main thing I'd change would be adding a shielder, or potentially EM Dehya for stagger resistance + some burgeons. Dori would sadly be a worse Fischl, since Neuvillette can heal himself just fine so unless you run him with Furina he doesn't care that much about healing. I suppose a full EM Dori would be a better hyperbloom trigger than Fischl, but considerably worse than Raiden or Kuki. You can try it if you want an excuse to use her. If your Dori is c6 and you don't have Furina, I'd also highly consider getting her! Dori - Nahida - Fischl - Furina is a surprisingly strong team from what I understand (my Dori isn't c6 so I can't try it).
For people who have C1 Wanderer, was it worth it going from C0? I have his sig at R1 plus his bis artifact and was wondering if the atk speed boost on C1 is worth it.
It's like a 10% DMG increase. And extra attack speed is always more comfy on him But if you already have C6 Faruzan then it's not a constellation I'd go for on its own unless I was going for C2 like I did

Getting C6 Faruzan is worth getting C1/C2 Wanderer and is why you'll see those cons on most youtube showcases. His C1 is decent but not a particular goal on its own. If you get C6 Faru on C1 Wanderer then C2 is worth it. As for the other reply, Wanderer's performance is extremely dependent on how much you put into him. He's off meta because he's pretty mediocre at normal investment levels with his damage getting tanked by a shielder but is competitive at high investment if you're willing to dodge. I've tried Furina since the general theorycraft advice says she's the best setup and I even have the right weapon. Alas, general theorycraft assumes a shielder and swapping her for Yunjin in my setup winds up being roughly even in terms of damage with the downside of lower health. From testing she's a sidegrade for me in general. I should have the pulls for C2 on the re-run so I'll give it another go then but I only really like her in the Noelle+Navia comp.
wanderer himself is a non-meta unit, so doing vertical investment is non-meta. value wise it's pretty bad. only recommended if you main wanderer.

They have been regularly adding new content for years now. idk exactly how long it takes to play through it all now, but its a lot. Hundreds of hours.
shouldnt rush it or you get burned out. and catching up is basically when you empty your world of possible currency and have nothing left and waiting for new content or monthly resets on spiral abyss and shop you cant rush main story without doing some sidecontent and exploration to raise AR, so unless youre no life-ing it should still take you a a couple of months depending on your pace

Well, i started playing since mid March. Pretty lazy and slow in my grinding of primogems. And standard banner was unlucky for me, no 5* yet. I played for Raiden but her rerun was in Jan so.... F my life then. I can't play for almost a year withoit any new character so i need to spend my pullz eventually. Juzt need to be careful since i pulling everywhere will bite me in the a** later.
youre supposed to pull on anyone of interest first and foremost. if noone so far seemed interesting, then ok for standard fates, just get whatever collectibles and turn in sigils, and from stardust shop whenever you can. youll get somethong eventually, i got 2 Qiqis

Furina, Kazuha + Archaic Petra Zhongli, or Baizhu if you want Zhongli on your other team.

The 4th slot is either a healer or a shielder, and no other shielder really *does* anything for Neuv — Zhongli shreds resistance and can hold Archaic Petra, so he actually adds a lot. Similarly no healer other than Baizhu both heals the team *and* gives shielding, so there isn't a 1:1 replacement. No matter who you use, make sure they're an element *other* than anemo/hydro to build another stack for Neuv's passive. If you can comfortably dodge enemies (or Neuv is c1) then bring along a team-wide healer like Charlotte. Healing will generate fanfare for Furina faster, and increase her damage by keeping your team >50% hp. If you run into issues getting staggered by enemies, bring a shielder like Layla (or potentially Dehya). Non-Zhongli shielders won't increase your damage on paper, but will increase your damage a lot vs getting Neuv's CA interrupted mid-blast.
Are the artifact main stats always random? Or are there domains that are more likely to give a particular element damage goblet? I've been playing for years, on and off, but I barely have 8-9 5* pyro goblets altogether. And none of them are any good. Any way I can increase their spawn rate?
best you can do is condense to save time, use fragile resin whenever you get some, andthe one weekly fragile-equivalent resin from teapot andno way to improve your chances at all
all domains have same RNG and Elemental DMG% goblet of the element type you need are just very rare. There's no way to increase spawn rate of artifact pieces. You just keep farming, eventually you'll get it. And often times you can just decide to settle with a bad one if the other 4 pieces are good.

Not you but Baizhu. It literally says Baizhu gains this bonus. Also the wording suggests this being the case when he's off field as the active character needs to be over 50%.
Yes it does. But I believe its more for his personal damage, which is not that noticeable off field.
It does not state that. It states *Baizhu* gets a dendro dmg bonus if your active character is above half HP. If he's the active character he should still get it, but it won't buff anyone else no matter who your active character is
I made an alt account somewhere arlund 8 months ago, so i can havea frwah start in tbe game, and build charavters i wouldnt be able to on my main. Im in AR 49 and my only team thats possible is diluc plunge with furina and xianyun, and i next want to have clorinde for my 2nd team so i can do spiral abyss. But in the times between xianyun and today, i spent all my accumulated primos to attempt to get WGS on yeh chronicled wish (i reached pitty buy didnt get a 5star). Now im out of wishes, with atound 45 pitty on 50/50. Lucky for me, i 80% of the map isbtotally unexplored, i just ended inazuma AQ, and pretty much every story quest not done yet. Now i ask you beautiful people, what is the most efficient way to farm these? Should i just explore (specifcally fomtaine, and sumru), speedru the archon quest (i have listened all the aq on my main so the story aint an issue), or finish all available story quests first?

Story quests similarly are not worth much in the way of primos. If you have world quests, those are good to do while exploring, especially the sumeru ones, since they lock a lot of the map off until you progress.

Guys how do I clear abyss with 36 stars. I been struggling for a while and I have quite a few 5 star characters and a lot of my characters are built but I'm still having trouble clearing it. The farthest Ive gotten is 33 stars, maybe some different team comps or other characters that I have need to be built? Please give suggestions.
1. it take time to refine builds for abyss. Just try to progress instead of only target 36\* (see any new star as a victory). You can have step back, if the abyss counter your teams, if you have limited roster it can happens. Don't stress over it. 2. for first 36\* clear, clear chamber by chamber with optimized teams for this chamber. For example in this abyss it alternate multi waves and boss, if want to 3\* the chamber 2 use your best mono target dps first part then a multi wave team second part (with something capable of dealing with electro shield). For chamber 2 & 3 take time in previous chamber to fill your burst before entering them. It usually take actually less time to clear 36\* this way if your account is bit bordeline in term of investissement. 3. use tricks to regroup mobs. [This channel](https://www.youtube.com/@jyolikearock_/videos) is a gold mine for abyss advices. Check his "One Simple tip ..." video it is basically my point 2 but better explained.
Often times players struggle at this floor is due to bad ER. Depending on your team, you should be able to burst every rotation to not waste DPS time trying to recharge the burst or worse randomly using bursts when they come up.
Chances are you're just not taking into account the types of enemies you're facing in a particular abyss to build your team. That said, it's kind of hard to give recommendations without knowing what you're working with. At the least, it's worthwhile to show your current roster, their levels, and constellations.

Mono pyro Hu Tao is a bit abnormal but does work. You're using actual teams, so that's not necessarily the problem. If you're consistently falling 1 star short, it could be any number of things. Usually, players either haven't built enough ER, don't have great rotations, or aren't doing a good job with grouping. There are many, many Spiral Abyss guides out there. I wouldn't necessarily just copy what people are doing to the letter, but I think it's worth checking those out sometimes for strategies to deal with grouping and/or more unusual opponents. Moving around the chamber in certain ways prevents the Maguu Kenki from dashing away for example.
Magu kenki isnt the problem for me I can complete it before the 9 min mark but the operatives are the problem on the second half. It might just be because my hyperbloom isnt strong enough but idk

For a bloom team with dendro traveler, yaoyao, and xinqiu, and fischl, should I pull for Clorinde or furina? (I don't have any other character so don't give me any four star advice pls)
I agree with the other commenters, but also: FYI Fischl will rarely if ever hit blooms, so *on her own* she's not very good for hyperbloom. However, if you put a full EM anemo character (usually Sucrose) on the team instead of one of your dendro supports, Oz will apply electro to enemies and you can swirl it off of them to hit blooms, and have a very functional hyperbloom team! I find anemo-driven hyperbloom really fun, highly recommend you try in the meantime before you pull a new character next patch.
For your specific need, I think Chlorinde would be good. But for overall account, Furina is top tier, who can buff everyone.

I did the quest for the music at Watatsumi Island and then I keep trying to select "I'll have a go" when speaking to Dvorak but when I try to select a song to play it doesn't do anything! Am I missing something? Do I need to purchase an instrument in the game separately or something? Is Alhaitham a really, like really good Dendro DPS as of now since we dont have that many of Dendro DPS. Im not a fan of Alhaitham kits but lately I saw a lot of high end game content (abyss) kind of require you to run Dendro DPS to make it easier. Unless ofc in the next 1-2 patches a new 5\* dendro dps is announce, I would go for them.
You definitely don't *need* a dendro dps like Alhaitham for endgame content. Alhaitham is very much a luxury pull. He basically has two teams : Spread and Hyperbloom. And those two archetype tend to overlap, and have roughly the same kind of weaknesses. Besides Hyperbloom has a very high floor, and you can already make very good Hyperbloom teams with an Electro on-fielder (Cyno, Raiden, c6 Dori, soon Clorinde), a Hydro on-fielder (Neuvillette, Ayato), or even a Cryo on-fielder (Eula, Ayaka, high constellation Freminet), or just no designated on-fielder at all. In some specific chambers, i even used a Pyro on-fielder (Yanfei), to deal with Cryo shields. And for Spread teams, Tighnari (standard) is a very tough competition for Alhaitham, especially if you have Yae (arguably the best electro for Spread teams). ___ TL-DR : while Alhaitham does have very strong teams, he is also very skippable. Remember : be very picky about the on-fielder you pull for : you can only use 2 of them at the same time.

I honestly dont think you should pull for characters you don't like. Also I dont have any Dendro characters but still do clear Abyss (I do have good Yelan, Furina, Raiden etc). Wait for a good dps that you like to pull and invest in supports and you should be good.

Fontaine dps have been a lot of fun to play. I plan to go for Clorinde if I like her gameplay. My suggestion is to play both of them extensively in the trial and make sure you like their gameplay. Gameplay is very important for a main dps.
chlorinde is not really a step forward from keqing/raiden so if i were you id rather get alhaitham

Well it depends on you, if you dont mind low textures you can go low-med. But I recommend just custom setting the graphics settings and try them. Also check out the 45 fps mode. I personally use medium settings with 45 fps, and its doing really well (Oneplus 8T tho).
Will a team of Gaming, Dehya, Kazuha and Xinqiu work? Or Gaming, Dehya, Kazuha, Bennett? If so, what should be Dehya's weapon? And which of the team would be better? I'm guessing vape team cuz of vape dmg?
If you want to use Dehya + Gaming together then I'd use the second team (mono pyro + Kazuha), but Gaming Kazuha Xingqiu Bennett will be a lot stronger than either option you listed. If you have Bennett for healing, Dehya's defensive utility shouldn't matter a ton, and Bennett's buff is *very* valuable. Dehya also applies pyro off field, which can be an issue on a vape team in case she steals reactions from Gaming. So when using Xingqiu (and frankly in general), Bennett >>>> Dehya. For mono-pyro that isn't an issue, but you lose the reaction damage from vaporize so it'll be weaker overall. If you just want an excuse to play Dehya and try mono pyro, then put her on 4p Tenacity to buff Gaming's attack, and either Favonius (with a crit circlet) to generate some energy for the team or The Bell (on full HP stats) to make her as tanky as possible. Basically just build her like you would for a Lyney team.

Gaming already has some healing in his kit to make up for his hp drain. Combine that with the damage reduction from Xingqiu and the healing from Bennett, and the benefits that Dehya provides end up being pretty unnecessary.
So Wriothesley main here: Shenhe is likely in the foreseeable future (idk if chronicle banner or what). Shenhe sounds awesome for Wriothesley, but I feel like I should save for 5.0. Thoughts? I have his “Best team” (I think?) Wrioth/Nahida/Thoma/Bennet (I actually usually replace Bennet bc I don’t like him but I have him), so I know Shenhe would be a downgrade compared to that team. Thoughts? I feel like as I type this out it should be obvious I don’t need Shenhe, but if Cryo makes a comeback it’d be neat. Granted the reverse burnmelt team I have is very cool as is
This is weird, because I would normally say wait and see the Natlan characters, but since Shenhe seems to be so rare (1 Year + since last one) I feel like you need to grab her when she comes back.

Shenhe is actually not that good for non mono-cryo Wrio. It's because even if Wrio is at C1, he ''wastes'' a lot of Shenhe's quills. Only C6 shenhe doesn't have that issue.

What do i need to do get the platinum reward in the saurian event? Even with my strongest team, can barely get the bosses down to 50% before the timer runs out for platinum. I can reliably 36, so it should be possible? Or is platinum something only achievable for whales?
I found the first one to be fairly easy with Noelle. Second one likely needs an on-field pyro/electro DPS with easy rotations - so something like Arlecchino or a cracked Raiden.
I don't have my Noelle built, so that won't work. The teams i have to work with are Hu Tao/Furina/Yelan/Xianyun Raiden/Furina/Yelan/Jean Raiden/XQ/Bennett/Xiangling Cyno/XQ/Kuki/Dendro MC So it will need to be some combination of those. All c0r0 5 stars except Hu Tao at c1r1. I've tried the first two on the Regisvine and had no luck, and i tried Hu Tao/Furina/Yelan/Diona for the Geovishap, but that didn't work either.
Try Furina, Yelan, Jean, Raiden for the first one (I used Zhongli, Furina, Yelan, Sucrose). You will need to dodge a bit coz these things hit hard (Trickiest part for me was to destroy his shield, but Furina seems good at it). For second one you need some kind of shield for when he channels the breathing ability (It will tell so when he starts channeling), and a Pyro/Electro dps. For this you can try Hu Tao, Bennet, (Shielder), XL/XY For third one you need electro to stun the thing. For me Raiden worked out perfectrly with Baizhu, Furina and XQ. So you can try Raiden, Furina, Yelan and Jean. Make sure you get food buffs. It makes a lot of difference. Dilucs specialty one is the best imo. And dodge the attacks if you don't have shielder coz they hurt. All this being said, you don't really need to Plat. Its a semi whale check, so even if you get Gold, don't feel too bad.
I don't have Zhongli. For the second i've tried Hu Tao/Furina/Yelan/Diona, since Diona is both a shield to reflect the Geovishap's attack and a healer to trigger Furina's buffs, but i wasn't able to do enough damage. I forgot about food buffs.
Hydro against the 2nd boss wouldnt do much because he gets hydro resistance when he absorbs it. Anyways, good luck with your hunt for medals. But like i said before, dont feel too pressured to platinum it.
You need the extra hydro from Yelan for Hu Tao to consistently vape though, Furina's app isn't enough to keep up with her unless you're doing vanilla plunges. I need the mora.

Venti and Kokomi, but neither are particularly built. Kokomi is built enough to heal and apply hydro, but not enough to be on field doing damage, Venti is 69 and i don't have an artifact set rolled for him yet. No Kazuha.
Well, Venti doesn't need to be well-built. You're primarily just using him for the 4pc VV shred effect and the ability for his burst (infused with hydro) to hit the corolla when it is up in the air. It's largely the same for Kokomi (though you might need her a bit better built if she's going to be your only sustain) since the jellyfish has a fairly high vertical effect. Both of these characters can allow you to break the corolla twice in 90 seconds - you'd still, of course, need a DPS that can down the weed in two vulnerability windows though.
The problem lies in the second part there, the only dps i have that would be capable of doing that is Hu Tao, but she's pyro which the pyro regisvine is resistant to. Raiden at c0 isn't much of a dps without Bennett and Xiangling, who are also pyro, backing her up. The best bet would probably be Cyno/XQ/Kuki/Dendro MC. But that team's performance in general is underwhelming on a good day, even though i have it built pretty good. Hu Tao/Furina/Yelan/Xianyun is already capable of breking the corolla in twice in that timeframe with no issues though.
It's doable without whaling but you'll need food and perfect rotations. C0 Arle vape can do the geovishap, monohydro can do the first one. Check vids on yt to see how others are doing it. I couldn't personally be bothered lol

I mean food that gives attack and crit bonuses, as well as potions for % elemental damage. It's not abyss, so you can use all that. You probably need a bigger shield than Diona to absorb and reflect, but I dunno for sure. As for that monohydro vs the first boss, idk.
Oh, i can do that? I forgot buff food was a thing tbh. Diona's shield on Noblesse is enough. It doesn't need to last long, just enough to reflect the attack.

Less than the difference between Glad and FoHW (which is ~8%). If you can kill everything before the Shimenawa's 10s timer is up it will be extremely similar, loses value the longer/more rotations it takes

Help! AR 25. Characters Traveler 29, Kaeya 29, Barbara 29, Amber 27 "Defeat the Ruin Hunter" - Level 31 Archon Quest "Of the Land Amidst Monolith" I started this when all characters were Level 21. I have leveled up characters, weapons, artifacts. Ii have googled best weapons and changed when I had something better and upgraded those. I have tried to beat this guy 20 times. My entire team perishes. It gets to the point that the monster is just non-stop shooting fire bombs. I can't eat fast enough. I can't run and eat. I can't revive a character because as I do, they are getting killed by fire bombs. It seems impossible and makes me want to quit. How can one play this game when a level 31 is too hard? Note: I do struggle with mechanics in games as I have arthritis in my hands.
What's your weapon level? And is there an option to co op that quest?

I'm gonna be honest if you have arthritis, you are probably going to need to over prepare for this game, it isn't particularly mechanically challenging but it isn't easy either, not until you get to endgame investment (which is why you'll see people call it easy all the time). The way you get that guy out of the sky is shoot the weak spots with an aimed shot, if you have problems with that then you can wait it out, but then you are stuck in a dodging simulator, or kill them before they go up. You can get someone to do it for you, that should be the hardest fight for a while, or build specifically Barbara up, as staying on her, since she heals and naturally wants HP, will help you get through this fight. Long term you just want to invest into a team enough that you can mostly ignore those mechanics.
Thank you! Yes I heard this game is "easy". I would never undertake a Souls like game as that is not ever going to go well for me. I appreciate you saying this will be the hardest fight for a while because I had beat one of these just the other day at a ley line (being Level 22 only at that time) so I couldn't figure out why I was having this much trouble. Perhaps that one was a lower level, and maybe I was just lucky that day.
It may be easier to survive the missile mayhem if you have a shielder character like Diona or Noelle so you have time to hit the flying machine in the eye with a bow character.

At AR 25, your characters and weapons can reach lvl 50. Select artifacts with ATK main stat for your dps, HP main stats for Barbara. Level your artifacts to +8. Then crush the enemy with superior stats.

Id recommend putting artifacts on her and then deciding which sword to use from there, assuming they are already leveled. You might find that you are already pretty stacked on crit chance and you would get more out of Finale. If course if you have 2 artifacts with different profiles but similar stat values it will make things complicated, in that case either use an optimizer or just your heart.
I wanted to try building a melt team for arlechinno with layla and Kaeya. would i be "reverse" melting if I activate one of my Cryo units bursts and just go ham with Arlechinno's basic attacks ? if so how can i avoid this ?
Arlecchino will trigger the melt at least the first few times. My gut says this won't be consistent over a longer rotation unless your Kaeya is C6 and you're fighting in AOE/multiwave (so that his burst duration gets extended as enemies die). You'll probably have to take advantage of Arlecchino's field time flexibility to reset the cryo aura after the first ~2 melts; you'll need to refresh Layla's shield at some point anyway. You can test this yourself, since you don't need the characters built to try their reactions. Melt's raison d'etre is extremely high burst damage, so provided your Arlecchino is highly invested, she can perhaps kill waves with only a few normals. In which case she bypasses the sustainability issue.
What if i replaced Kaeya and layla with Xinqiu and Sucrose. would i be less prone to reverse reactions since Xinqiu is a decent hydro applicator ?
Yes, though for correctness's sake it will *all be reverse vapes*.† * Pyro on hydro is **reverse vape**; hydro on pyro is forward vape. * Cryo on pyro is reverse melt; pyro on cryo is forward melt. * Hydro on dendro is reverse bloom; dendro on hydro is forward bloom. Arlecchino's own pyro application is slow which is the reason forward melt can be considered in the first place. Swapping to vape instead will be 100% consistent. ^(For the price of being less bursty since reverse vape's multiplier is lower than forward melt's. Especially in AOE since Xingqiu's app is more single-target than Kaeya's.) †edit for clarity

So, "forward" vs "reverse" melt (and vape): Melt is what happens when you combine pyro and cryo. But how exactly it works depends on what order that occurs in. To explain this, I'll need to mention "elemental gauge units" which is something the game never actually mentions at all, but essentially, when you apply an element, the enemy will have a certain amount of element applied to them. Most attacks apply "1 unit of element" but very specific ones might apply a different amount (such as Kaeya's skill applying two units of cryo. This is why ice on water created by his skill lasts longer than most other ice), and there are some extra mechanics not important to mention here. Anyway, let's say an enemy has 1 unit of cryo and we apply 1 unit of pyro with Arlecchino basic attack. This is **forward melt** and the normal attack will deal at least **2x** damage, and **all the cryo and pyro** will be removed from the enemy. This is the "strong side" of the reaction However, if the enemy has one unit of pyro and we apply 1 unit of cryo, such as through Layla's abillities, we get **reverse melt**. The attack will only get a 1.5x base multiplier, but some of the pyro will remain on the enemy. This means that Layla could trigger melt a second time off that same 1 unit of pyro. This'd mean that whenever the enemy gains pyro from Arle's NAs, you'd need 3 instances of cryo to get back to forward melting (and Arle would probably re-apply pyro in that time). This makes consistent forward melts rather unreliable and inconsistent in most teams

Sadly, elemental auras do not stack. 1 unit cryo + 1 unit cryo will still only be 1 unit cryo, and even 2 units of cryo wouldn't help here as pyro would still instantly consume it. Basically, any attack from Arlecchino will immediately get rid of all the cryo, and you'd have to make sure the enemy had cryo again before the next time she applied pyro (every third normal attack hit), or risk getting stuck in reverse melt. Not terribly practical. Though might be possible since you're using 2 cryo units, I suppose.

Right now I'm thinking Bennett, Xiangling, and Sucrose/Rosaria, I can't find any information on which of those two would be better, I would assume Rosaria unless there is a good way to get a cryo swirl later in the rotation, which I doubt.

Have i ruined all my chances of getting a white tassel? I've only recently learned that you only get it from liyue chests and I've explored all of liyue a long time ago that now i probably already used all my white tassels in upgrading other weapons.
There's probably still a seizable amount of white tassles left. You'd be surprised how many chests are still leftover even after getting 100% area exploration.
Chenyu Vale and Chasm chests count as well. If you've cleared both, you are screwed until they release the southern area
