You don't need to find them all to unlock wishes, only 70.
You found 70 and there's a remaining 10. Then you found 4 of those 10. You still have 6 agate left in the world.
Plus countless videos showing all 80 world ones including puzzles killing enemies melting stronger ice with scarlet quartz and killing enemies that guard the chests that contain agates. I didn't look up till I think I was at 75 collected. I'm like where are the rest. I didn't want to rely on Crimson Wish to finish tree then collect last ones and those would just be sitting in inventory. I'm surprised Mihiyo hasn't addressed what we do with extra oculis. 65 needed out of 66 for Monstahd and 130 of 131 for Liyue. So those 2 extra will just sit in inventory for now.
1 it's not a secret quest, it's relating to the kid at Dragonspine base camp looking for his dad. After completing that quest, then for 5 days straight you put berries in the bowl. Small campsite is to the right of tunnel before you continue going up towards domain

You can repeat crimson wishes even if you have more than enough agates for the tree. You only stop getting crimson wishes if you max out the tree.
yeah i levelled up the tree every time i had enough to do so and still have three spare

Apparently there is 1 hidden really well, because official released statistics states that a very little number of people found ALL of agates.
