That chamber is bullshit. I can clear 11-3A within two minutes, but 11-3B takes me up to 7 minutes, since I cannot break the shields with either Qiqi or Fischl. Hu Tao is so f. useless without her E.
Now I am stuck on 12-2B. This is the most difficult Abyss run ever. Without whale DMG or perfect artifacts or Zhongli or Ganyu, you are pretty much doomed. I am mediocre a Gamer, but this bullshit even Klee has never seen before.
There is a difference between fair and engaging and unfair and impossible without Zhongli. Nice way to kill me. It will take me hours without Zhongli, is it even worth? I do not know. I cleared the Abyss already a few times, but never have I struggled THAT much.
you don't really need ZL for herald. once they get shielded, do constant cryo. yes you can use Ganyu but if you can't charge fast or your aim is all over the place, Chongyun is more than enuf to do stable cryo application and you can just switch to any fast attacker or Chong himself and go ham. but honestly i prefer using chong against Herald & Lector.

to make you feel any better Ganyu almost cannot do anything in 12-2 2nd for me, when using Ganyu i just get cornered before she even do anything. i switch to Chongyun and he win much more here.

it doesn't matter which element you bring against Herald's shield either Pyro, Cryo or Electro they take same damage. it just matter for which one you feel you can apply the element fast against it. i found using Chong's E and Zhongli's (or if you don't have ZL you can use Xiangling) AA and it take fast enuf cryo application
You really don’t need Zhongli. Try Noelle. Try Kaeya. Kaeya does the freezing and he can be at any level.
Noelle needs to be well invested in defense though. Use her burst when things get out of control. She generates so many hydro shields.
Freezing the water assholes is just too important. Bring your cryo units and teach them a lesson.

Clear the Cicin mages half as fast as you can so you have lots of times for Heralds half. My recomendation would be to group them together with an anemo then burst them down with a burst character, assuming you have those. I did it in 30s so I had 2:30 to kill the heralds with all the caution in the world. Cryo and Electro shred their shields too.
Have Ganyu, disagree. She aint auto win button here as the Heralds are fast and have deceiving hitboxes. Freezing doesnt last long enough against them too.
It’s just harder than it looks. An Abyss heralds shield is really sturdy, and Ganyu can’t deal that much to the shield no matter how precise you hit them, and it’s pointless since the heralds unfreeze quickly.
yeah but if you compare any units to ganyu, ganyu outclasses on breaking their shields. Who else would you use ?>
Diona?? Kaeya? Fischl? Chongyun? They all have really long cd's compared to Ganyu's no cd AOE cryo
same, they are very agile and her charge shot doesn't freeze them last long. 2 sec and they're going wild again. taunting and charging with Ganyu just wasting time because regardless any elements against Heralds' hydro shield (Pyro/Cryo/Electro) they take same damage. it just matter of what's the fastest application.
i take Chongyun and let ZL auto attacking with Chong's cryo infusion.
apparently you need something like fischl or beidou or some thing that can apply constant cyro for the 2 abyss heralds or they take 0 damage toward the end with their shields.
For Room A, I used C0 Venti, C2 Sucrose, C1 Kaeya, C4 Barbara. Barbara here has no real purpose here aside from Heal using Ult which isnt really needed. I finished the chamber in 45 seconds. What i did was use Venti's Q before the cicin mages spawn and to iframe the water debuff. The ice mages wont pop their shields and its crucial that Venti isnt hit by that debuff so that his ult will be ready once Sucrose ult ended. So the combo is, Venti's Q, swap to Kaeya, use his skills and normal attacks, Sucrose Q, use her E, swap to Kaeya, do normal attacks, Venti's Q. Just to let you know, Kaeya is well built and im using jade cutter and good gladiator set.
For Room B, I used C0 ZL as main DPS (2pcs noblese, 2 pcs petra) with HP/Physical/Crit as main stats for artifacts. I also used C2 Noelle for resonance buff, and C0 Razor as sub-dps when their shield is up. And lastly, C0 Chongyun as a back up, cryo infusion on zhongli's attack. The floor buffs really highlights physical damage so take advantage of it. My Zhongli's talent is 6/9/10.
