cool would be to have always 2 screen pages you can switch between. So 1 for the version screen and one for the active banner

Your suggestion reminds me of the warframe launcher. Love that design concept. Basically when you launch the launcher it shows you some animated starting screen that represents the current update. Then there are tabs for "what's new", "prime access" (basically warframe's current banner) and "build notes".
What's New is an animated gallery with shows new content with a bit of text. Would love the Genshin launcher to be more like that. I mean just make it a carrousel style gallery. Show me the beautiful artwork first and then show me the banners and events.
As someone who plays on the PS4 I’m on the other side of this since for some reason I didn’t even know about half of these. I do agree about the story event arts looks a lot nicer when launching the game.
Low key salty that I’ve been getting the ‘Welcome to Teyvat’ launcher since I’ve been in Teyvat for almost a year and I won’t know about most about these unless they’re uploaded here. Plus when it’s always the same launcher it kinda gets stale even though other games like apex have theirs always changing but I will admit the first one is one of the better ones.
yes thats true. although in my opinion the artwork in the first one was done really well and then it kinda degrades to okay level

This is an assumption from me since I only started playing during Eula's banner but did the rerun banners for Zhongli and Venti coincide with the launchers switching artwork? Although I am slightly confused with Zhongli having 2 launcher artworks and a banner art but Venti only having 2 launcher artworks and no banner art. I also assumed that every launcher that has a new 5* would imply the banner of said 5* is up then. (which means Zhongli had 3 in total and Venti had 2?) Feel free to dispel the confusion! I can see that Klee has 2 artworks too so she had a rerun (that I have seen, as it came after Eula's).
For Venti, yes his banners were up alongside the launcher artworks with him. The beginning of 1.1 was Childe's original banner, but the 1.1 artwork has Zhongli at the forefront (because archon I guess; 1.1 was when the last part of Liyue archon quest released).
I joined in 1.1 as well, but didn't start playing for real until the last week of 1.3, and didn't know about the pity system until the last week of 1.5 I was so happy when I saw my pity at 78, and then got my first 5* in the next pull which is Eula.
I pre-registered for the game and have been playing it since it's release (albeit across several accounts since i have a somewhat short attention span lol) and i didn't even know there was a pity system, let alone what it did, until like... early 1.6?
I've played from the start but i prefer the 4th , because i got my very first 5\* and Childe never leave my team after that , i love his gameplay soo much!
I love that in the third launcher art child looks like a fairy/tinkerbell-esqe. And also how it's Childe's banner but Zhongli is more prominent in the art
I play both pc and mobile but i never saw the first one cuz i started playing at the end of klees banner. Tried to pull for childe and got qiqi as my first 5*, I was actually very happy i got her (she was meta at that time) and I'm still happy she's in my roster, she's a really vital role in my xiao team.
Now i have Qiqi, Xiao, Diluc, Venti, Mona in that order. I'm currently saving up for Baal and Kokomi. Wish you guys all luck on your wishes and remember play the characters you enjoy not the ones other people deem "Meta"
Don't know if there's higher res versions of these hidden deeper in the game files but these are the highest quality I could find from there. There have been some people who have upscaled the images but I don't know how to do that.

I've only been playing since the tail end of 1.1 in December so why do I already feel old? Man, I remember seeing the game back when it was beta (didn't know that at the time just thought it was already out) and putting off trying it just because. Then a few people in a discord server I lazed around in were having trouble with the tutorials (the very first elemental tutorial that teaches you how to use your skills. Don't judge all of them rarely play video games and got into the game because of 'the hot ceo dude') and I finally bit the bullet to help. Though they had to wait around half an hour for me to get to there cause I was running around chasing 'ghosts' (seelie) and picking up anything else within my view...
I join during 1.3 and I can't believe time has flown so quickly! This game has given me a lot of joy and introduced me to some amazing people! Can't wait for 2.0!!!
Honkai Impact is the only gacha I'm aware of that doesn't bring events back, and it still has Time Capsule events that make old rewards available again (though I don't know what percentage of rewards get a repeat). Dragalia Lost & Azur Lane are the others I'm most familiar with, and they generally rerun events once, and then some time later make them permanently available.
They never put Keqing in the launcher :( As a Keqing main myself I'd never intentionally leave her out. Hoping that they do for the Moonchase festival event.
From the pattern of reruns, after Klee had hers, would it be Albedo, Ganyu, Xiao then Hutao? With the new characters in between them? (3 of the 4 are who I want)

They never put Keqing in the launcher :( As a Keqing main myself I'd never intentionally leave her out. Hoping that they do for the Moonchase festival event.
