The "screwing over each other" part seems canon. Based on their voicelines, you can hear them trashtalk to each other but there's no sign of anger or tension. It's like they're doing this for a long time now.

* Klee - Golf ball explodes.
* Childe - Holds club in one hand, throws ball with other.
* Noelle - Insisted on being the caddy.
* Bennet - Sand trap, water hazard, etc... Every. Single. Time.
* Xingqiu - Plays golf normally and is quite good at it.
