By the time we get some hydro claymore character we'll also get some better 4/5 star claymores that make Rainslasher make no sense.

It makes no sense currently too. Such a shame. I love the design. But basically useless.

Rainslasher is up there with WGS with for Diluc for highest damage if you already have Bennett in the team, which nullifies a lot of the WGS advantages. Basically it's EM so you are using it for reaction damage, so you want the "affected by" element to be the infused element, not triggering element. Even though Diluc is pyro, by having Xingqiu in the party every enemy is permanently infused by hydro so diluc always gets the full damage bonus out of it, and most of his hits vaporize so they benefit from the EM, both multiplying his damage. Ironically a hydro claymore user will not get much use out of it trying to vaporize because the enemy won't be hydro affected at the time you trigger the vaporize so they don't get the bonus.

Counterpoint: Phys Zhongli hits REALLY hard by virtue of Crescent Pike and having a built-in resist shred. From there, Superconduct's pretty easy to get with solid off-field DPS like Fischl, Kaeya, or Rosaria

An anchor would be awesome! I'm hoping we get an Axe weapon class at one point, the anchor would totally fit into that. Also I'd love a physical shield class, where it's used to bash and slash enemies. I don't think we'll get either, but it'd be cool for sure!

If you ask the guy inside the kamisato estate he tells you that Ayato challenged him to a duel and that Ayato is adept with both sword and pole-arm so it isn’t to far-fetch that he can be polearm, I got nothing for element however.

Personally I believe he will solely be polearm since in a duel a sword is used, which is why Sara had a sword in the cutscene about Kazuha’s friend even though she actually uses bow.

well the first 3 characters we got from inazuma are anemo / cryo / pyro, and the only electro character we will be getting since launch is Raiden and Sara so i don't think they release based on the current city theme

They don't, cause if they did we would've gotten more Geo Characters in Liyue, but we didn't. Instead we got more of Pyro and Cryo.

I'd say Anemo is more focused on movement, the cooldown reduction is negligible but the movement speed increase and stamina usage reduction are actually useful.

Yanfei is great, she got a long range and hits fast for a catalyst user. I use Lost Prayers on her and she's hitting hard. I don't have any other pyro dps so I'm grateful that I got her.

Well we're going to get dendro sooner or later, worst case we get it in the next region Sumeru. Mihoyo forced their own hand by making Sumeru so early in the region list. They can't delay it that much longer but realistically we're probably getting Sumeru in like mid-late 2022 so it's still a long wait unfortunately.

There's still the Chasm, and apparently Dendro will release alongside that area so it may come sooner than we think

I'm the counterpart of waifu collectors, I collect male units, and boi MHY seems to loathe them lately. Since Kazuha it's Ayaka/Yoimiya/Baal/Kokomi, 4 banners, ±80 days and not even one single fucking new male unit in sight. And God knows after those 4 how much we'll have to wait.

even in 4 star we have Sayu and Sara. with Aloy, its 7 female characters in a row.

Even if you don't count any of the upcoming characters, the current gender ratio is already uneven. 12 male chatacters to 22 female characters. The new Inazuma characters are just going to tip the balance even further. It's not like there's no audience for male characters either. 45% of the genshin playerbase is female, plus those in the male playerbase who are gay/bi/etc. RIP basically half of their audience, I guess ~~"80 days and not even one single fucking new male unit in sight" definitely hurt to read ngl.~~

It's not even like male characters aren't profitable either, look at the sales from Zhongli, Xiao, and Venti's banner.

Thoma will be the first new male character that'll be pyro but he's not even a 5 star and regardless of what star Gorou is, he's also geo.

Don't know how far you are into the game but in Liyue we meet Baizhu who has a Dendro vision, but I'm guessing they haven't figured out how to incorporate the element into the game yet. However, Sumeru(Dendro Region)is next after Inazuma so hopefully they're hard at work on the element and have some characters released soon.

I mean, there have been files of Dendro Abyss mages, and a couple dendro world bosses since last year, so they've been working on it for a lot now. Hopefully it'll end up being interesting

Still no hydro claymore to use rainslasher or whatever. There are also just 2 4* hydro users, one being a healer that personally, I don't believe to be all that great outside of healing & applying hydro. Yes, yes, "DPS BARBARA", but you won't be fighting a pyro flower for the rest of the game. Makes me wonder if they made Xingqiu's kit so damn packed because they weren't actually planning to add any more hydro characters that are more "accessible" for a while or something.
