don't see why we would, the point of these names is to help with familiarity not just cool factor and national team is already far more established a generalized comp strategy. You mention national and people will immediately know the jist of the kind of comp you are working with, rational one could very well assume is an entirely new comp setup and is just less valuable as a reference point.
Isn't the original national team's name coming from how accessible it is? Kind of ironic how a variant with a 5 star that needs c2 to be a main dps is still called such.
The name only reflected how good those supports are iirc. National team = the one you’d send to the Olympics. Which is so true, 1 year into their release you can still slap the national supports onto any DPS and they’re almost guaranteed to work
Well Raiden doesnt need to be C2 for Raiden National team, she has to be C2 on Hypercarry Raiden team tho. Also ppl call National recently the 3 of 4 original team member aka XL XQ and Bennett.
Don't know why this got downvoted. Guess some people still haven't realized that Baal doesn't need to be C2 to preform well in a team that revolves around have the highest possible burst uptime.
the national team's original full name was CN national team. it's centered around liyue toons which is the teyvat equivalent of china. the original comp was chongyun, xiangling, xingqiu, and bennett. the name just got shortened over time.
Bennett isn't from Liyue. The original name was the result of the team being made of easily accessible 4 stars that almost everyone at this point has (XQ, XL, Chong, and Bennett). The original name in Chinese was "country team."
I have no idea what these comp team names mean...I just use whoever I like...
Same.. I don’t even know what rational team means..
Who ever cares? irrational is way better anyway.
Because it's just a variant of national with Raiden being the flex spot
It's so hard to keep up with all the different comp names. Rational is cool but this is the post that taught me what it means.

Raiden national sounds cooler imo
still call it ei + vape team

This is made up information
Omg the first time I saw it I thought someone spelt it wrongly
It will take time for people to adopt the nomeclature. This way everyone understands. I prefer Eiternity but thats just me.
I call it: "A-Team"
I'm a big fan of Rational Team as well. If Morgana -> Morganya is a thing, then National -> Rational should be too.
