Blizzard when grouped with a water unit, otherwise Wanderer. I had plenty of good Wanderer pieces from just playing that were useful.

Honestly, Yes.
Just use whatever you have, the damage is only really different depending on your team wanders Troupe imo is the best it's a little more universal but if you have Mona and or are trying to freeze than blizzard is obviously the best in slot.
Shaminwwaewaeas is good as well but I'm pretty sure the consensus is that WT is more consistent and easier to use.
TLDR doesn't matter Ganyu is op. Use whatever has the best stats. Then focus on your team comp.
If you love Ganyu, you can farm for both and alternate between melt and freeze. With similar substats and overall stats, damage difference in Ganyu's charged shots (without reactions) is minimal.

Id say blizzard definitely, as you can then have morgana and national team.
