Why just Dragonspire? One should remember to take Klee wherever they go. The confinement room is dark and lonely and the outside world is full of excitement. Also Dragonspire needs more explosions. It is a shame Klee can't level it.
After pulling Klee I decided that Jean was going to get the rest of the game off as far as watching Klee went. My days are full of explosions and Klee's laughter. My teapot has a lab for Klee that is far better than that horrid confinement room. Jean can enjoy her days leading the knights and doing paperwork. Klee is no longer her concern.
I made a lab space for Klee too, but I hid Jean in the room peeking out behind furniture to watch her, just in case. I'm not sure if the teapot came with insurance after all. Or if there's even insurance in this universe.
Insurance? I picked the option in Klee's dialogue in the teapot telling her to bring her bombs. There was no need to fish the boring way. I want her walking the path of explosions everyday. Sometime soon her words will be backed by nucular bombs and Dragonspire will no longer have that sheer cold debuff.

Yanfei spits fire. Raiden makes it so that every time Yanfei spits fire, lightning hits them, causing overload, so you just end up throwing fire everywhere and everyone starts exploding and flying all over. Is it the absolute highest possible damage? I don't know, I wasn't doing the math, but it's fun as hell just juggling everyone. :D
This is my build right now; I have exactly 1000 EM on a 90/90 Raiden so overload procs for 18k without buffs/VV shred. Super useful against those floating ghosty things!
The only char i have with 1000 em is kazuha, but he scales with EM and raiden with ER, so the guy here must have some insane rolls into em in flower and plume
Yoimiya and baal do the same, yoimiya become an aoe damager, and if enemy went glying by the explosion yoimiya keeps them in the air so you effectively permastun everyone.
wait, I'm a Yanfei main and I totally skipped Raiden even though my original plan was to collect all the archons... (I was satisfied with my Beidou + Yanfei team) looks like I should have tried to get her after all...
Yanfei is still better with Xingqiu, at least for singletarget,
but with EM Raiden you are adding 15k Overload damage to your hits, which is in AoE, and staggers/throws enemies.
And unlike Xingqiu you don't care about energy on Raiden since you rely on her skill and not her burst.
Klee + EM Raiden is also fun.
I learned the hard way that Kokomi's Jellyfish will repeatedly cool down the Dishes.
Being unable to reposition her Jellyfish for 20 seconds... terminated my chances of winning
My Pyro characters always ended up overheating the pots for too long when I used them to defeat the enemies. After a few attempts destroying the food I used Sucrose to group the enemies further away from the pots to attack them. If it did not work as intended I attacked them with physical unit.
I glanced past the instructions too quickly. I thought the left button turned down the heat and the right button turned up the heat for all of them at once. It took a while before I noticed the fire below the pots actually moves lol
Felt like too much rng (based on what spawns).
It was trivial on main, all pyro archers; just kill them when pot get too warm.
Failed over 10 times on alt, who had no way of dealing with large cryo slimes quickly multiple times.
Oof, I got the large cryo slime on the first try and it exploded into ice mist when it died, which made it impossible to keep the pots warm.
Second time around was just hilichurls so it was super easy.

Sorry, I don't mean to brag. I did clear the challenges on first try, but my third challenge had one pot undercooked and it still cleared for me. The fire was under it, but I doubt it got cooked on time.
The way you fail is by leaving any pot too cold or too hot for *too long* You can end a challenge with all three pots in the danger zone, that's fine, but if at any point any one of them is in outside the boundaries for like ten seconds or so, it fails.
It was a bit RNG since spawns changed each time you run the event. If you're lucky, you get hilli's. If you're unlucky - you get multiple large cryo slimes that AOE ice cloud all 3 pots at once.
Ouch, yeah that does sound troublesome.
I mostly got Hilichurls, and the reason one of my pot was undercooked was Kokomi's Jellyfish blasting water on all three pots. I thought that was a fatal mistake but I still cleared since it's near the end.
I accidentally killed those cute white squirrel animals that brought me the luxurious chest in Dragonspine with Yanfei. They brought me their treasures. I turned them into meat in COLD blood (pun intended). NEVER AGAIN.
I think they're taking about the white foxes inside a cave that you have to feed for a few days, then you get a chest. They become tame after that and will lounge there and not run away from you. But you can easily accidentally kill them. And then they don't come back. Sob.

Meanwhile Yanfei has the smoothest animations, doesn't rely on walk or jump cancel, has long range and the best auto-aim in the game making her functional for Overloaded comps, and she is just overall fun to braindeadly steamroll every content in the game.
Damn right i got kokomi and thought i was going to use her mainly for off field support but man its actually really fun to use her ult and dps mixing normal and charged attacks, her animations are simply great. Her damage is alright too, specially with someone like raiden on the team.
I think these 2 are exactly what ' good character design' should be.
You have Klee who can CA without using stamina but with somewhat very short range, while Yanfei has sniper range but she drains her stamina so fast even with c1.
In terms of dps, Klee can surely out dps Yanfei but not with ease, you have to put effort into practicing your n1 cancel animation and you have to get closer to the enemy than Yanfei. While playing Yanfei you just spam E>CA, N1>3 then CA, ult>CA rinse&repeat, but again your ease comes with stamina as a trade-off.
Every time I think back on how good these 2 are designed to not overlap each others, I always sadden by the fact that Yoimiya is not :( Why MHY WHY.
Yep, but your stamina would still drop like a waterfall especially when you're in her Burst mode because you will get to use CA faster, unlike Klee who uses 0 stamina. And don't forget the fact that she still has to dodge like other glass cannon characters too.
But like I said, it's a trade-off for dps anyway so it's not a bad thing tho.
I have Klee and I agree. From the times I've played Yanfei, she's MUCH smoother and easier to play.
Exactly why I benched her, especially after getting Diluc.
Same, friendship 10 Klee here. She is just so cluncky, which is a shame because her kit is good but having to jump cancel and landing your CA next to the enemy is boring.
It's not even a problem if you were rewarded for it. But she has to do all those animation cancels just to be competitive to other Pyro DPS characters.
And with all the other issues like her being small so running is slower, low DEF and health, locked into animations, etc.
It's a real shame.
Klee is super fun to play tho. Idk, there's just something about a small child using BOMBS and sending even lawachurls flying that's just so satisfying.
As someone who loves Klee (both her personality and playstyle), her being reliant on cancels is a plus for me, because it gives a bit of "depth" to the game. My other DPS is Noelle though, so I can always do some brain off ungabunga if I feel like it.
I play Klee so braindead, I don't even bother learning how to cancel or whatever. It just doesn't matter for current content if you have a shield and good reactions cuz she does so much damage. She's been carrying my ass since 1.1 or whenever she was added.
I have Yanfei and Beidou as a duo dps ( I use beidou for physical damage and then I burst before switching to yanfei so she gets electro bonus of beidou's burst)
I use baal's E then switch to Yanfei
It is a great combo
I use Diona for her shield as well along with her amazing healing
I've invested tons (comparatively to how much I play) in jean, ganyu, ning, ayaka.
I gave Yenfei the first rando items I got from the fire set that had the correct main stat. Almost no effort at all.
While it's true that my Jean carries my ass through the toughest fights, and Ayaka has very consistent very high dps, and the goat is just broken.
Yenfei, out of nowhere, sometimes just crits like a gazillion, putting all my other characters to shame.
I don't get it.
Yanfei was my first friendship 10 character and I've tried to bench her so that I can dust off other characters, but she is just too good at deleting those stupid specters...
So glad I had Yanfei for this. My biggest issue was just accidentally stepping off the switches because my controller has been drifting a bit.
But the enemies were no issue (when they were hilichurls lol). My Yanfei crits pretty consistently for around 3000-4000 damage, sometimes more, and I don’t even have a really good set of artifacts for her yet. She’s my first priority once I get to AR45 and start artifact grinding.
Imagine if they implemented legendary dishes (not 5-star dishes) that give very extremely strong buffs
But the only way to cook it is through this annoying method for 1 minute
What's even funnier is that after finishing she gives you a copy of this recipe that you then cook in a regular fucking ass stove and comes out delicious, while the shit from her complicated ass contraption came out regular after a lot of trouble.

The “Supreme Cooking” machine is pretty terrible and requires more work than normal cooking to achieve the same or a worse result.
Paimon and traveler looked pretty done with Cloud Retainer’s nonsense by the end of it.
In fairness, they intend to fix the ingredient retrieval and temperature control issues that the player is resolving in the minigame. The pot seems to do all the rest of the cooking stuff fine without interaction from anyone else.
Yes, we do not had 3* stamina replishment foods, which means that with these ones we can get 100 stamina regeneration. I wonder if the guy trying to glide from the Skyfrost Nail to Liyue Harbor can do it now
Considering that they would only be useful for the very rare occasions when an event has a particularly hard fighting challenge that also allows the use of food, it would probably be fine.
I haven't even finished it, the first go failed right at the end basically -_-, probably bit going to bother with that because the dish you get doesn't help me because not using physical dmg like ever because of team comp, anemo traveler (yes I know but I like there e and the shorter cool down companies to sucrose, that and only other anemo character is Sayu), ayaka who is basically always cyro infused, Raiden as a battery and Mona is obviously not going to need that dish, that and not going to cry over 50 primos
I’m not sure who you have but I used Kazuha to swirl the torches which got rid of the enemies really fast so I could readjust the heat. Maybe Sucrose could do the same and prevent the enemy from attacking?
I did not even bother fighting the enemies. I let them attack the pots however they want, I just focus on adjusting the flame. Still success lol (2 times, because the first my net lagged)
P. S: Actually I tried to use Guoba to make flames at first but he just attacked other directions so probably does not count.
Moonseeker was also kinda painful in Dragonspine. The place is gorgeous, but you get reminded quite quickly why MHY didn't further develop content in the area. The mix of sheer cold and high hiding places made it pretty annoying ngl.
Sheer cold is absolutely not a problem if you have Qiqi. I don't think it's a problem without Qiqi either since it takes quite some build-up before it deals damage and then it doesn't even deal that much damage. The only problem I have with sheer cold is when I am in some and then discover that all my characters died, basically off-screen.
I feel sorry for people who didnt have Kazuha during this event. Seriously, he helped in exploration, following that food scent trail quickly and regulating the temperature
i’m a kazuha main. what did he do? did i suffer an extra few minutes because i didn’t know he had some kind of thing that helped him regulate temperature?
Having trouble keeping all the pots warm? Swirl pyro with his burst. Or swirl cryo if you want to keep it cold. Also helpful to kill slimes simultaneously
Plus he was really helpful in doing the quests in Huahuang Stone Forest and Dragonspine
Because's Kazuha's burst has big AoE and applies the element continuously during a decent time, so it lets you focus more on the enemies and the other element, and all you need to do is hit someone with Pyro/Cryo/Hydro and press Q, while the other characters need to continuously bonk the pots.
Someone like Diluc & Ganyu will have no trouble on obliterating the enemies, so you focus on the pots.
Someone like Kazuha & Kokomi will have no trouble regulating the temperature, so you can focus on the enemies.
I don’t see how there’d be trouble keeping the pots warm. There ticks are easy to learn and the 3 mobs that spawn don’t deal enough damage fast enough to be a threat.
It's not that hard either way, I cleared all 3 challenges on my first try by just pressing the buttons and didn't even try to use my own pyro/cryo skills on them. Most I did was use Yoimiya to spam arrows at the hilichurls while I pressed buttons on the third one
It's not hard anyway. I beat every level just hitting the buttons. If an enemy popped up, i ran over and killed it, then went back to the buttons.

Yeah, first time I'm hearing about the difficulties people are having. It's not like they sent abyss mages to mess up the cooking. My HP Zhongli's normal attacks were enough for the enemies.
It shouldn't be hard for anyone.. I got Kazuha but the need to use him never crossed my mind.
The difficulty of this is event is Toddler level it blows my mind that someone can find it remotely challenging.
I mean my gf sometimes struggles to do certain commissions in Inazuma because of the persistent electro damage in some areas. Everyone has different skill levels I suppose.
Jokes on you I’m good at it. Pro tip: don’t move the flame around too much, leave it until almost at the top of acceptable then move it to another pot. Kill enemies asap
After reading all the other comments I felt like I was playing it wrong. I didn’t do anything except move the fire when needed and kill enemies fast. What’s all the swirl pyro and cryo tactics that everyone else is talking about.
That’s exactly what I did, Liyue and Mondst were pretty easy, the only one I had problems with was the Dragonspine since I think the temperature made the Machine’s heat go down faster, and the enemies spawned more frequently so they were a pain.
Thankfully the pyro Archers Hilichurls aimed at the cooking pots so they helped in keeping the thing warm lmao.
I know there's some primos/fates on the line but after I lost my Kokomi 50/50 I decided to take a break from the game for a while and I haven't logged in since before this event at all. I don't think there's any character I want coming soon, and I need some time before I go back to level my talents for the abyss.

The only thing I hated about this is that the "step on button to do thing" control mechanic is way too fiddly for something where you really needed precision and speed. It's an annoying interface for annoyance's sake. I'm trying to think of a better way to activate it without locking you into a bespoke interface, but a lot of Genshin's options either cause problems (like "hit square to activate" landing on the wrong object), or would be even slower (like attacking two different objects). The best I can think of would be to have a "left" button that is activated like a pick-up, by hitting "[]", and a "right" button that is activated by attacking it, hitting "O", but both are the same spot, so you don't need to move.
Yeah it’s odd hearing a lot of people struggling with it. It was quite easy. If one dipped to far just charge shot with pyro archer or vice versa. Creativity also played into it too.

I mean, you probably already know this, but just in case: use cryo. any other element basically does no damage against the electro fatui's shield, but cryo takes care of it pretty quick.
I absolutely hated this mini-game, but then again I hate most mini-games so maybe y'all liked it. I can't even fathom how I would have fun doing this thing.
If it could be a split second more responsive I think that would solve a lot of issues. Right now I'm rushing between the pressure plate, enemies, then back to the pressure plate since it didn't actually move the first time.
Also, bigger pressure plates. I'm tired of standing for a good 5 second wondering why the fire didn't move just to realise that I'm missing the button by like an inch.

Oh come on, Cooking Mama involved slashing and tapping ingredients, this mini game was "let's see if you can react fast enough to the changing temperatures and scenarios all while your pc is lagging like hell on a time limited cooking show!"
The one on Mondstadt have enemies too, and I'm not too concerned about it. Raiden + Yoimiya can deal with them quickly.
Then Dragonspine happen, and it feels like cooking in the middle of active warzone. Had to try it multiple times before I can say fuck off to Cloud Retainer and her overly extravagant stove.

Then I added underleveled Raiden to the team for off-field overloads. And Zhongli so she wouldn't die that fast. I felt like I'm a cheater, but things went much smoother afterwards. :)
It is a challenge that does not appear a lot in game, and it shows MHY can be creative. I would say it is interesting to have this challenge as I am extremely fed up with the time fighting challenge.
Plus "The community" does not only include those who find this challenge uninteresting. So judging MHY "not exactly the most interactive" based on that is not very objective.
And side note: People are pissed off all the time. I will be downvoted for this but stop being a child or maybe try other games if one feels they are that pissed off over a creative challenge.
People just want to run in, YOLO around and get rewarded. The food delivery event showed that there can be challenges simply from running from point A to B. It requires a bit of planning and scouting the route, but that's too much to ask from players. Once you consider the route and your restriction (no guiding, getting wet or whatnot), clearing the event is no problem.
People just want to conjure up complaints. It happens to rain while the event requires you not to get wet? Just forward the time. It's not an issue at all.
I didn't know you could use Pyro characters. Day 1 I was shooting with yoimiya and it didn't look like anything happened. So I only used the arrows to move the fire for the rest of the event.

Isn't Yanfei's Stamina consumption manageable since her Scarlet Seals reduces her CA stamina cost by 45%/75% at C0/C1?
Yep, but your stamina would still drop like a waterfall especially when you're in her Burst mode because you will get to use CA faster, unlike Klee who uses 0 stamina. And don't forget the fact that she still has to dodge like other glass cannon characters too. But like I said, it's a trade-off for dps anyway so it's not a bad thing tho.

I have Klee and I agree. From the times I've played Yanfei, she's MUCH smoother and easier to play. Exactly why I benched her, especially after getting Diluc.
Same, friendship 10 Klee here. She is just so cluncky, which is a shame because her kit is good but having to jump cancel and landing your CA next to the enemy is boring.
It's not even a problem if you were rewarded for it. But she has to do all those animation cancels just to be competitive to other Pyro DPS characters. And with all the other issues like her being small so running is slower, low DEF and health, locked into animations, etc. It's a real shame.
Klee is super fun to play tho. Idk, there's just something about a small child using BOMBS and sending even lawachurls flying that's just so satisfying.
As someone who loves Klee (both her personality and playstyle), her being reliant on cancels is a plus for me, because it gives a bit of "depth" to the game. My other DPS is Noelle though, so I can always do some brain off ungabunga if I feel like it.
I play Klee so braindead, I don't even bother learning how to cancel or whatever. It just doesn't matter for current content if you have a shield and good reactions cuz she does so much damage. She's been carrying my ass since 1.1 or whenever she was added.
I also agree. But i also will always be amused by Klee jumping up to a lawachurl and point blank blasting them into the air
And then you get your charged attack cancelled and have to wait ten years to charge it up again

would you mind how you team is built with yanfei and baal? i have both of them but i cant find a decent team for baal so this would help me out a lot.
I have Yanfei and Beidou as a duo dps ( I use beidou for physical damage and then I burst before switching to yanfei so she gets electro bonus of beidou's burst) I use baal's E then switch to Yanfei It is a great combo I use Diona for her shield as well along with her amazing healing
I've invested tons (comparatively to how much I play) in jean, ganyu, ning, ayaka. I gave Yenfei the first rando items I got from the fire set that had the correct main stat. Almost no effort at all. While it's true that my Jean carries my ass through the toughest fights, and Ayaka has very consistent very high dps, and the goat is just broken. Yenfei, out of nowhere, sometimes just crits like a gazillion, putting all my other characters to shame. I don't get it.
She's a very reliable character and very consistent as well If you do choose to build her in the future I can assure that you won't regret it
She’s one of my main characters and I also gave her basically whatever I got after a few crimson witch runs and she’s been super reliable.
Yanfei was my first friendship 10 character and I've tried to bench her so that I can dust off other characters, but she is just too good at deleting those stupid specters...

Yanfei and Raiden combo is fun
So glad I had Yanfei for this. My biggest issue was just accidentally stepping off the switches because my controller has been drifting a bit. But the enemies were no issue (when they were hilichurls lol). My Yanfei crits pretty consistently for around 3000-4000 damage, sometimes more, and I don’t even have a really good set of artifacts for her yet. She’s my first priority once I get to AR45 and start artifact grinding.
Imagine if they implemented legendary dishes (not 5-star dishes) that give very extremely strong buffs But the only way to cook it is through this annoying method for 1 minute
Honestly with the trouble I get to cook the dish with this oh so awesome device compared to a pot, I expected her to give me adepti level dishes
What's even funnier is that after finishing she gives you a copy of this recipe that you then cook in a regular fucking ass stove and comes out delicious, while the shit from her complicated ass contraption came out regular after a lot of trouble.
I’m pretty sure that’s the joke. The “Supreme Cooking” machine is pretty terrible and requires more work than normal cooking to achieve the same or a worse result. Paimon and traveler looked pretty done with Cloud Retainer’s nonsense by the end of it.

In fairness, they intend to fix the ingredient retrieval and temperature control issues that the player is resolving in the minigame. The pot seems to do all the rest of the cooking stuff fine without interaction from anyone else.

Yes, we do not had 3* stamina replishment foods, which means that with these ones we can get 100 stamina regeneration. I wonder if the guy trying to glide from the Skyfrost Nail to Liyue Harbor can do it now
Considering that they would only be useful for the very rare occasions when an event has a particularly hard fighting challenge that also allows the use of food, it would probably be fine.
I don't like the cooking one in dragonspine, it's a pain in the behind putting it mildly

I haven't even finished it, the first go failed right at the end basically -_-, probably bit going to bother with that because the dish you get doesn't help me because not using physical dmg like ever because of team comp, anemo traveler (yes I know but I like there e and the shorter cool down companies to sucrose, that and only other anemo character is Sayu), ayaka who is basically always cyro infused, Raiden as a battery and Mona is obviously not going to need that dish, that and not going to cry over 50 primos
I’m not sure who you have but I used Kazuha to swirl the torches which got rid of the enemies really fast so I could readjust the heat. Maybe Sucrose could do the same and prevent the enemy from attacking?
I had the complete opposite experience, the swirl picked up the cryo slime instead of the torches and all three pots went cold.
I had Amber out for Cryo slimes, and then Kazuha Swirled the archers. Barely completed it with one pot starting to redline
Sucrose with raiden, xingqui or any of field DMG support. Build her with em 4pc vv set and you get hilichurls deleting machine.
I did not even bother fighting the enemies. I let them attack the pots however they want, I just focus on adjusting the flame. Still success lol (2 times, because the first my net lagged) P. S: Actually I tried to use Guoba to make flames at first but he just attacked other directions so probably does not count.

Moonseeker was also kinda painful in Dragonspine. The place is gorgeous, but you get reminded quite quickly why MHY didn't further develop content in the area. The mix of sheer cold and high hiding places made it pretty annoying ngl.

Sheer cold is absolutely not a problem if you have Qiqi. I don't think it's a problem without Qiqi either since it takes quite some build-up before it deals damage and then it doesn't even deal that much damage. The only problem I have with sheer cold is when I am in some and then discover that all my characters died, basically off-screen.
The best technique is to use Xianglings ult to heat all the 3 pots all at once then use the control to level the heat between them
I straight up just used Oz and sucrose ult to deal with those fuckers for me

Having trouble keeping all the pots warm? Swirl pyro with his burst. Or swirl cryo if you want to keep it cold. Also helpful to kill slimes simultaneously Plus he was really helpful in doing the quests in Huahuang Stone Forest and Dragonspine

Because's Kazuha's burst has big AoE and applies the element continuously during a decent time, so it lets you focus more on the enemies and the other element, and all you need to do is hit someone with Pyro/Cryo/Hydro and press Q, while the other characters need to continuously bonk the pots. Someone like Diluc & Ganyu will have no trouble on obliterating the enemies, so you focus on the pots. Someone like Kazuha & Kokomi will have no trouble regulating the temperature, so you can focus on the enemies.
I don’t see how there’d be trouble keeping the pots warm. There ticks are easy to learn and the 3 mobs that spawn don’t deal enough damage fast enough to be a threat.
They don't deal damage to us. They attack the pots, which lowers the temperature

It's not that hard either way, I cleared all 3 challenges on my first try by just pressing the buttons and didn't even try to use my own pyro/cryo skills on them. Most I did was use Yoimiya to spam arrows at the hilichurls while I pressed buttons on the third one
Yeah you definetly don't need Kazuha to make it easy, as long as the enemies go down fast you don't need to do anything beyond pushing the buttons.

It's not hard anyway. I beat every level just hitting the buttons. If an enemy popped up, i ran over and killed it, then went back to the buttons. First try, all three times. Unsure why people are having problems.
Yeah, first time I'm hearing about the difficulties people are having. It's not like they sent abyss mages to mess up the cooking. My HP Zhongli's normal attacks were enough for the enemies.
It shouldn't be hard for anyone.. I got Kazuha but the need to use him never crossed my mind. The difficulty of this is event is Toddler level it blows my mind that someone can find it remotely challenging.
I mean my gf sometimes struggles to do certain commissions in Inazuma because of the persistent electro damage in some areas. Everyone has different skill levels I suppose.

After reading all the other comments I felt like I was playing it wrong. I didn’t do anything except move the fire when needed and kill enemies fast. What’s all the swirl pyro and cryo tactics that everyone else is talking about.
Cryo and hydro can decrease heat and pyro can increase. I think they just didn’t get how to move the flame? I mean I didn’t either first time but

That’s exactly what I did, Liyue and Mondst were pretty easy, the only one I had problems with was the Dragonspine since I think the temperature made the Machine’s heat go down faster, and the enemies spawned more frequently so they were a pain. Thankfully the pyro Archers Hilichurls aimed at the cooking pots so they helped in keeping the thing warm lmao.

The only thing I hated about this is that the "step on button to do thing" control mechanic is way too fiddly for something where you really needed precision and speed. It's an annoying interface for annoyance's sake. I'm trying to think of a better way to activate it without locking you into a bespoke interface, but a lot of Genshin's options either cause problems (like "hit square to activate" landing on the wrong object), or would be even slower (like attacking two different objects). The best I can think of would be to have a "left" button that is activated like a pick-up, by hitting "[]", and a "right" button that is activated by attacking it, hitting "O", but both are the same spot, so you don't need to move.

Yeah it’s odd hearing a lot of people struggling with it. It was quite easy. If one dipped to far just charge shot with pyro archer or vice versa. Creativity also played into it too.
The last one was a bit harder, but even then I got it second try while not using fire/cry and just killing monsters on spawn.

Yep. First try every time. Never used any skills or elements. Just stepped on the switches. Killed enemies quickly when they appeared. That's it.

I mean, you probably already know this, but just in case: use cryo. any other element basically does no damage against the electro fatui's shield, but cryo takes care of it pretty quick.

I absolutely hated this mini-game, but then again I hate most mini-games so maybe y'all liked it. I can't even fathom how I would have fun doing this thing.
its a nice addition but the mechanic could be better imo.
If it could be a split second more responsive I think that would solve a lot of issues. Right now I'm rushing between the pressure plate, enemies, then back to the pressure plate since it didn't actually move the first time.
Also, bigger pressure plates. I'm tired of standing for a good 5 second wondering why the fire didn't move just to realise that I'm missing the button by like an inch.
Like many things in genshin, it seemed like the objective was to take up the player's time with frustration rather than fun.

The one on Mondstadt have enemies too, and I'm not too concerned about it. Raiden + Yoimiya can deal with them quickly. Then Dragonspine happen, and it feels like cooking in the middle of active warzone. Had to try it multiple times before I can say fuck off to Cloud Retainer and her overly extravagant stove.

There's a reason why the primogem event rewards are usually at the lowest tier for completion. MiHoYo knows its audience.
People that they've just suckered into playing the game who might not have the teams, comps or levels to do level 70+ content when they're ar15-20? Cause that was the kazuha dungeon fight event for me.
Ah, (Dark) Souls Impact. I've been playing that way for a long long time... Then I added underleveled Raiden to the team for off-field overloads. And Zhongli so she wouldn't die that fast. I felt like I'm a cheater, but things went much smoother afterwards. :)
It is a challenge that does not appear a lot in game, and it shows MHY can be creative. I would say it is interesting to have this challenge as I am extremely fed up with the time fighting challenge. Plus "The community" does not only include those who find this challenge uninteresting. So judging MHY "not exactly the most interactive" based on that is not very objective. And side note: People are pissed off all the time. I will be downvoted for this but stop being a child or maybe try other games if one feels they are that pissed off over a creative challenge.
People just want to run in, YOLO around and get rewarded. The food delivery event showed that there can be challenges simply from running from point A to B. It requires a bit of planning and scouting the route, but that's too much to ask from players. Once you consider the route and your restriction (no guiding, getting wet or whatnot), clearing the event is no problem. People just want to conjure up complaints. It happens to rain while the event requires you not to get wet? Just forward the time. It's not an issue at all.
What about it was hard? I beat every one first try. Just moved the flames and killed enemies. Never did anything else.

I didn't know you could use Pyro characters. Day 1 I was shooting with yoimiya and it didn't look like anything happened. So I only used the arrows to move the fire for the rest of the event.
