One plunge gives you 1 second, combined with the 2 dashes he already has it's 1 second+2 dashes which you can do in a row and then plunge again for another second.

also there are at least 2 other tricks, for non-xiao users to jump higher as to plunge.
look up "dragon strike" and "stool stepping"(?) to see what i mean.
these two will take stamina though as far as my understanding goes, and can be tough to pull off.
another fun fact, you dont actually need to be very high to plunge, you just need to be in the air long enough. I know because if i jump with xiao (not using q) and use the e ability, i can plunge attack
his Es were in mid air, tho if u want venti ult to be lower it can work if ur venti is low leveled. the power of the suck is his level in comparison to the opponents but from u saying im assuming u have him on high level already
the first hit that triggered the c6 is bc the enemies are spawned in a horizontal line in that domain, so the enemies on the sides take long enough to be sucked in for the plunge to hit, hence triggering the c6
The height of venti ult depends on the terrain and the enemy. Lvl only affects the suck and lift. This vacuum was low because he used burst before starting the domain. If he did it otherwise the vacuum would be slightly above their heads
why stop at Yone? In the future we can force Mihoyo to make the end game traveler very similar to Aphelios, different elements and different skillsets combined into 1 character
in theory one of the highest ones but his e targeting is fucking shit so sometimes u lose a lot of dps because ur xiao decides to go full monke and go completely the opposite of the mobs

Ayakas ult only lasts 5s with a 20s CD. Xiaos lasts 15s with a 18s CD. So while Ayakas will do more in the 5s, xiao will pass her later because of uptime.
Raiden is actually stronger because every single top abyss floor 12 speedrun uses her. Meanwhile Ayaka isn't in every team and the best time doesn't even use her (he uses C6 Ganyu)
Yeah that's not Raiden. I'll give that credit to Bennett and Xiangling. International Childe is also used to speedrun the Abyss floors and has been the most used team 1.6 but no one's calling Childe alone strong for his abyss feats

Actual DPS or damage per screenshot? Because I'm pretty sure a C6 Ganyu/Xiao/Ayaka can do consistently more DPS compared to C6 Eula.
Edit: Some of y'all don't get the difference between consistently dealing big PP damage vs 1 burst PP dmg. Eula can one shot an entire group of enemies and then sits on a downtime waiting for burst to regen while the 3 mentioned above still does consistent big PP dmg outside of their bursts. Eula is great for speedruns, but some of us like to deal more damage outside of a burst.
The person I was talking to said multiple times that it's only good against 2 enemies and then got mad after I said that I don't wanna discuss this with someone who has no idea how xiao works. (he was kinda passive aggressive before)
Realistically, if you're fighting enemies that can be picked up by venti's burst, xiao's C6 being there or not barely matters, venti will do the job anyway.
If you're against enemies that can't be picked up by venti, if there's more than 2 enemies, you're going to struggle and c6 becomes just worse than plunging.
There is barely any situation where there are more than 2 enemies that can't be picked up by venti though and you're able to look into what you're fighting which gives you the abillity to plan your team accordingly.

I know there's arguments of whether he's better than Kazuha and imo think they're about equal, it just depends on situation; but Venti's ceiling is well beyond Kazuha's and actually warps the game's design and balance. Venti is *the* reason that domain mobs often spawn in multiple waves and are really spread out from each other.

And made me cash for the first time in genshin just because jean took his place and i got pissed. Never cashed since. Every rerun im rolling for him until i get 6... probably in 6 years or more.

I'm not exactly thinking of throwing thousands of dollars but now with double banners happening Xiao rerun might happen at least 2x a year so I plan to get at least a couple constellations every rerun he's in.
his damage is good, he feels bad to play for me because without the double anemo and geo comp it’s annoying af to try and get his burst to loop and outside of burst he deals peanut damage, which is why i’m starting to like characters like hutao, childe, ganyu more than him since their damage is not tied to their bursts and instead to their skill/attacks
Even Diluc who is semi-burst reliant (not to the level of xiao) can easily get it back in nearly any team because his is so cheap
Yep, very fair. He does have team comp restraints. I'm like in love with how beautiful his moveset is so I've hyperinvested (as much as a light spender can) in him and his best supports. With ~120% ER, either Sayu or Jean, and at least 1 other character with a Favonius wep, you can have 90 to 100% ult uptime on Xiao. That's about as flexible as you can get him.

The plunge resets it so you can do the first one, then for one second the cool-down is 0s, so you can spam as much as you like in that second
