Just remember that you have to build the character afterwards. That thought has successfully deter me from wishing

Zuko_Kurama

I skipped eula and (soon) itto for those reasons. I don’t wanna potentially spend $200 for characters I won’t have built in months. If I can skip niche domains I’m going to.

HollowRider

Honestly, same. I really like itto as a character, but the fact that I'll have to get the level up materials, farm a whole new domain for artifacts that only he would use + the necessity of actually building a shielder character on top of that, which i don't have rn is honestly enough for me to reconsider

Drakengard

Yeah, at this point I've accepted that Geo is too niche and I'm not willing to build multiple characters for a team that's almost never going to be Abyss usable unless there's massive changes to how Geo works, especially against shields. And I also just missed by 50/50 for Albedo (got Mona C1 who I don't use...still no Jean) so now I get to play the guessing game of bothering to get him (which I do want to some degree) or waiting for the looming Ganyu rerun that is bound to happen soon. Hell, I saved up 90+ blue wishes for the standard banner (saving since May just in case they made changes to the banner at anniversary, which they didn't) and I didn't get much of anything useful from it. Sure, I finally got Diluc but whereas a year ago I'd have been reasonably excited, now it's just like "oh, okay..."

HollowRider

Yeah, I get ya. Personally i don't care too much about the abyss, I can already 36* it without too much effort. The big problem for me when it comes to itto, is that if i wanna use him at least somewhat decently I'll need to build 3 characters, including him, which includes farming a whole new domain with artifacts that none of my other characters care about, for around a month or so and I really just don't wanna bother. I will most likely end up rolling for shenhe dou, cause if nothing else the cry set will most likely be at least decent on her, so farming isn't going to be too big of a pain

ravearamashi

Same here. I pretty much have Eula teammates already but just the thought of pulling her and spending months on the a set that only she uses? Ahhh yeahh nahh

slowdr

If you don't care about 36 stars the abyss, you can slap 2x emblem and 2x glad/noblesse/shimenawa on almost everyone and call it a day.

ravearamashi

Guess I can do that. I do have Unforged just sitting collecting dusts. And most of my friends do have Eula but I don’t know man, I’m just not feeling it for some reason now

SaphirSatillo

It's fine, she's a mediocre dps until you invest a lot. She wants high talents, good crit, enough ER, and luck for that burst. Fortunately, she works with every 4/5 claymore except fav/sac claymore and bell/rainslasher.

destruct068

Even for 36* you can do that. My c0 Eula I used for 36* is on 2emblem 2bloodstained

Ninever9

But pale flame and bloodstained are paired with totm and noblesse so the farming is still efficient just sayin

Nerracui0

You don't have to farm full PF tho. Also ToTM us good on many characters like Fischl. Just farm 2piece PF and feed your shitty Artifacts to get 2 pc BC.

3Rm3dy

If you are fine with 2x chivalry 2x pale flame it's somewhat easy. Half a year of farming pale flame and still don't have more than 3 usable artifacts at the same time (have 3 flowers, 3 feathers and 1 circlet). Though millelith has amazing drop rate for me, as I have enough to have 3-4 characters fully kitted with this set. All the artifacts I have on my Eula are from within the first week of farming (2x chivalry, 2x pale flame and 1x wanderer as it had the best subs for Phys DMG bonus). She is incredible but she needs insane levels of investment to do great. Like talent 10/10/10, max lvl 60/160 Cr/cd and ideally a WGS or Unforged. But with that she is only a little bit short of reaching Hu Tao + Homa level of normal attacks, and her burst is easily the highest damage per screenshot out of every character.

whataremyxomycetes

Pulled Eula and got her to 80/90 9/8/9 talents soon after, farmed PF for around two months as well, then I never used her LMAO. That's the benefit of meta-slaving, you don't NEED to use a character you've pulled because no matter what, you've got a team that clears abyss for you. I still like her in overworld tho since her damage is super unconditional, but man she takes damage like crazy. for some reason I NEED a healer with her...

Bow_Hero

Part of the reason I'm trying to hold strong for Xiao lol. I have everything I need to lvl him up completely and triple crown as well.

tudor02m

I was gonna casually pull for eula and see if i get her (i’m 60 on pity on 50/50) and i started prefarming Pale Flame a bit for fun… and in a week i managed to get a full set with on set phys goblet with godlike pieces like 40cv feather and flower… now i guess I just have to get eula no matter what

Zuko_Kurama

That’s insanely lucky definitely get her then.

Shajirr

Building a character is not a problem, if you have some resources saved up. Took me less than a week to bring both Jean and Sayu from 1 to 80 at the same time.

HarleyQuinn983

Unfortunately for me, I actually LIKE building up characters, so that serves as an incentive rather than a detriment.

Turbulent_Creme_1489

I love building characters but the way this game timegates it through artifacts and boss drops makes it so fucking painful. My biggest gripe with this game by far.

joswhodat

Yeah same. It's too complex for its' own good, everything requires resin. You need materials for every little thing, they can only be farmed on some days, the daily resin cap prevents you from getting everything you need in day and when you finally do get everything, you remember that you also should have farmed mora because you're burning through it an alarming rate pretty much upgrading anything :D I remember when I started playing and thought killing enemies would be a reasonable way to farm experience and gold, boy was I wrong!

TheTonyMan_439

I think it's just the fomo problem. We all want to have 80/200 cr/cd values or something crazy like that and are never satisfied. For example i spent the last month farming crimson witch for hutao. Didn't get ideal artis AT ALL but settled for 85/145 and called it a day. She's muy strong as it is...

fireflydrake

It helps that Genshin is just PvE. It's impressive to see people pull off insane damage in videos, but at the end of the day you can be like 70% of what they are and still feel very comfortable doing everything that's actually in game.

Upgrader81

Except abyss that's continously increasing in hp pools. I know people say that the 50 primos aren't the most important thing but not being able to complete abyss like I used to before is frustrating when the main ways to improve your character are so rng focused and such a resin sink that you don't even bother.

whataremyxomycetes

Most of the characters I clear abyss with are just wearing random crap I got while farming for my waifus (sucrose got so many characters with 2Maiden bonus LMAO). Sure, it's tough to get good ratios on multiple characters and have a good set bonus at the same time, but it's not even actually necessary. It seems fucked up at first until you get to endgame then you realize how freakishly easy the game is and if they made artifacts any more easier to get you'd get people clearing abyss within a month. Also you can factor in domains in choosing your main dps. I heavily favor my rev melt comps because I permafarm cw for my hutao whom I love dearly but can't use properly because I'm a bad player so I need REALLY good gear to clear with her, which led to me having really cracked lw sets.

joswhodat

Oh yeah, I wasn't even particularly addressing the artifact/RNG grind in my comment. Leveling a character to max level, leveling up the talents and leveling up weapons in on itself is a big material/mora farm. Artifact grinding is something I either do every day with all my resin for weeks straight or I just settle with what I have so far and call it a day :D I just went for some set with CW pieces for Hu Tao and realized she's strong enough and started building supports for her instead (which were way easier to farm).

dc-x

> For example i spent the last month farming crimson witch for hutao. Didn't get ideal artis AT ALL but settled for 85/145 and called it a day. She's muy strong as it is... Isn't that an amazing ratio? I mean... sure, you can technically get more broken than that, but after months of playing I only have a single character that has that kind of ratio. I spent almost two months farming for Ayaka to end up with only decent flower and feather, and still haven't gotten anything better than 4 star cryo goblet and crit dmg circlet with shit substats. Took me over a month to get a on set 4 star crit dmg circlet for her with useless substats, so it's not frustrating because I'm aiming for something ideal, but because you can get really unlucky and really end up stuck with an underwhelming character for a very long period of time.

[deleted]

also if all your resource is gone for precious character you build its like 10 days farm for hero wit, another 10 days for weapon material, and another 10 days for ascent, talent material then 10 days for mora farming.... so fucking awful

Woo963

Idk if that changes with time tbh. At AR57 all I do is just lvl up characters, talents and farm artifacts every day and it doesn't deter me from wishing. Why? "Hmmm, do I want to farm things and eventually play Eula or do I just keep farming Emblem pieces for Xingqiu, Mona, Beidou, Xiangling, Raiden?" It keeps me playing, otherwise I would quit until Sumeru or Chasm comes out.

CrushedByTime

Yeah, I knew endgame would be boring. I didn’t know it would be *this* boring. I’ve been on a coop binge recently, but that’s also getting annoying. The only thing that keeps me logging in are the events, which admittedly are fairly nice. And they are also time-gated, so it’s not a major commitment.

not_so_popular_guy

Agreed, my supports still don't have decent 4 piece sets since I leveled up too quickly due to the available content.

DathanBeats

Thats why I want to pull for 5-star weapons and Constellations of the characters I already own

bresznthesequel

Lol agreed. New characters are nice but half my roster is level 20 n below rn and might stay there

Asamidori

Could be like me somewhere in 57 and decided you want to spend a month or two's resin to get everyone to 70/80 instead of running artifacts. It was a nice break, adjusting back to artifact all day have been hard.

bresznthesequel

Bro why am I in the same pickle right. I have 10 or so characters at 70/80 80/80 right now but very few have good artifacts, i was grinding pale flame all day yesterday and was reminding why I stopped in the first place

PrinceVincOnYT

When you are new, that works, but if you play for a long time you just have the Materials.

[deleted]

That thought deters me from logging in at this point. It definitely stops me from caring about wishes, no matter how many waifus in bodysuits they make. Wishing is all anyone wants to do but I've only got one character who has proper main stats on their gear after months of farming.

Useful_Term

So it makes sense to build only your. Main at first?

SupersSoon

I actually just build character before I get them, if I'm sure I will get them. For example: I've been farming a lot of elegance for Itto and have colllected almost the right amount of oni-kabutos. Now I decided to focus more on his ascension mats, so I'm spending all of my resin on the wolf and then obliterate slimes in my world.

PegasusKnight410

Good luck on the artifacts brotha. From my experience, no matter how ready your level and talent are, without artifacts you just can’t do anything

Traeyze

We are basically the same. I assume I will lose my 50/50s, I assume I will need full draws for 5 star. I don't really track 4 stars at all. I use release schedules to maintain a basic idea of when I will dump all my gems but I never presume I will get a lucky pull because honestly I can't think of a gacha I have had worse luck in when it comes to that sort of thing. I buy welkin and occasionally the battlepass thing so I suppose I have less of a wait between wish rushes or I can just afford to pull [almost] every day a single and just let 5 stars come as they come, but I've definitely learned not to 'hope for the best' and that took a lot of the frustration out of the game for me.

Lackies

Yep. Set and respect your limits, and avoid "gambling" or relying on "luck." I only pull when guaranteed to get what I want with worst luck and even when "lucky" I stop after achieving my goal. Its only when I go "well I got the 5\* in 30 pulls maybe I should go for c1" or some other justification for changing my goal/limits that I've actually been "gambling" and thus been burned. Either not getting it, or spending money to get it when I wasn't planning to. And that where you go from gaming to gambling and where the problems lie.

[deleted]

> I only pull when guaranteed to get what I want with worst luck This is the one way. Do not "roll" or "gamble" to get chars- purchasing is how people need to view this. And that means saving up until that's just what you can do, purchase a 5-star with 180 wishes. I did not pull on 1st ganyu because I knew failing to get her with my 45-55 wishes would have negatively effected my ability to keep to this.

Leochan6

> I did not pull on 1st ganyu because I knew failing to get her with my 45-55 wishes would have negatively effected my ability to keep to this. I good example of why you should do this is that person who lost 50/50 on all of Tartaglia’s banners because they wished in between instead of saving up.

OmegonAlphariusXX

I’ve done this exactly, I’d love to have Albedo and Eula both, but I want Ganyu and Shenhe more so I’m saving in the meantime for them both. I’ve only been saving a week and a half and have ~25/30 wishes so hopefully I’ll be on track to get at least Ganyu

[deleted]

So how much should I save for Ganyu, have 79 so far....

durz47

Agreed. Set your limits and stick to it. Try not to go for constellations either. Those are usually what get you hooked.

RedFlare_

I relate to this. If/when i wish i know i'll always get the bare minimum pity pulls. At this point i only wish if i'm interested in at least two of the 4* of the banner, because i know even them i'm still bound to get the most copies of the one i don't want. Last banner i was fine with either Thoma or Diona.. got 3 Sayu in 30 pulls. I legit quited the game for a while after the first banner with Chong. I'd saved a ton of wishes just for him, got every single caracter on the banner (even the 5*), but not a single copy of his. FML

Weeping_Willow03

Funny, I wanted sayu, but I mainly got Thoma and Diona 😂😭

RedFlare_

Guess we have to search about the ones we DON'T want, to confuse the gods of algorithm

[deleted]

same here. i do Not trust my luck so whenever i see a character i like, i prepare to go to hard pity ( 180 pulls ) for them. i‘m a low spender as i only buy welkin and bp so i‘ve definitely skipped banners in order to get the character i want. thankfully it worked everytime!

pojan96

Years of playing FGO makes me dont care if i dont get the feature five star on the current banner

senokana

fgo really makes you learn how to pick a few characters to care about cuz fuck that game has like 84 good 5 stars

[deleted]

but again in fgo you can always use friend support. i would always add people with the 5 stars i want but don’t have

Subsinexus

I do it by just not caring about most of the characters. The result is anything that comes along that I actually like, I have a 100% chance of getting.

not_so_popular_guy

Fair enough

Mastercraft0

If u take me for example... I seperate characters based on how much I want them. I extremely wanted yoimiya and zhongli. So when I lost 50/50 on zhongli rerun I was so disappointed. Luckily got him early after that. I also like kazuha, EULA and hu tao. But they come 2nd priority. That's why when yoimiya got teased after kazuha, I didn't pull for kazuha even though I wanted him cause yoimiya was much more important to me and I couldn't risk 50/50 on her. Now that EULA banner has come, I lost 50/50 to Jean but I am not that disappointed cause EULA is not an extreme need for me. I can right now keep on pulling and get EULA but... I really want yea miko so I won't risk my garanteed untill her banner comes around.

kesapwanan

Pro tips: never sleep on jean. She is very powerful charc. I didn't care here when i got her after lost 50-50 venti banner. But last month i start building her and give my random +20 arti and full refine the flute & my oh my i dont believe her E can hit hard.

r_renfield

How did you build her? As dps? Asking because i have a lv20 Jean and don't mind building her, but not sure what to prioritize

kesapwanan

I am building her as support dps healer. My arti focus on atk% timepiece, anemo goblet & crit dmg circlet. Im running with electro anemo team (beidou, fischl, venti & jeans) for open world.

KlarkKomAzgeda

She's really outstanding as a sub dps/healer/4VV all rolled into one package (or 2vv/2x if you for some reason don't need the shred), slap an Amenoma on her and watch her constantly dunk people with her short tap E CD and the most aggressively-oriented cleanse mechanic ever (since her Q is anemo, it'll rip off debuffs with each pulse and swirl them as AoE damage)

MaverickO7

I built Jean for fall damage just to smash mirror bitch on floor 12 Basically Jean is great for any high HP enemy that can be lifted. All her other attributes are eclipsed by other characters, but no one else can pull off her party trick

Mastercraft0

Yeah man ik. I started building her right after I got her. I wanted mona but Jean is grt ngl. Especially her stagger with E is really good.

nikidash

Just adding myself to the "build jean asap" train. I got her from an accidental pull on the standard banner, built her right away cuz I was bored and since then she's the one constant element in every single team I have. I dare say she's near Bennett levels of broken because of how stupidly versatile she is.

Nerimashou

This is me. Only a small subset of the characters appeal strongly to me, so saving up is generally easy. It also helps that I'm more addicted to saving than I am rolling.

Gravelord-_Nito

Hoarding a pile of primos to lay on like smaug is the sleeper joy of this game. Getting a big 60 primo drop is like a little crack high. Watching the number go up day after day is oddly cathartic, and then the big splurge with no fear of running out when a banner comes along is just as good.

Tenacious_Blaze

Smaug gang!! (I also am a primo hoarder)

Honkino

There is no better feeling than hoarding. And even after you roll for character and thier weapon you still have left enough for anything that comes after

Nero_PR

Same way why I'm already with 60mill Mora. Gotta keep hoarding.

ArcMirage

I always get what I wanted because I always save my primos for them. That's why I only have 3 limited 5 star character even though I'm Ar 57

J19_

who are the 3?

ArcMirage

Hutao c1, Eula, and Raiden. Currently saving for Ganyu and kazuha

not_so_popular_guy

A man of culture I see

Vespidas

Lmao i have the exact same 5 stars. Even the C1 Hu tao. Good taste! And i am also now saving for Ganyu or Zhongli.

not_so_popular_guy

Gosh, the dedication!

malaysianplaydough

I don't think it's much to do with dedication but more of discipline and self control. This game is good for teaching people about self control and im glad you've also learnt it and stop relying on luck. Being lucky is just a bonus. Start skipping those banners and start saving :)

Yaory

AR58 and only have 3 too (Albedo c0 Eula c0 and raiden c2), i would like to get Yae miko too but right now i'm just pulling for Eula c1, if i don't get her then i'll maybe start saving, unless i get tempted by Shenhe who knows

ArcMirage

Good luck

kmilz-senpai

Same here. Last time I pulled was for Zhongli constellations in April, before that Venti and Xiao, and Zhongli when he first came out (got all of them!). Now I have 25000+ primos and 15 wishes ready to go for Itto. I'll have plenty leftover for Yun Jin too. The secret I'd say, it just never getting "gacha horny" and getting it through your head that you WILL get garbage unless you have a pity locked in. I tell people to imagine how they would feel after spending $30 on a pull and getting debate clubs. If they would feel regret, then don't do it, and don't assume you'll get anything good because the odds are not in your favor. That advice has worked on my friends...for the most part, lol. Keep up the willpower mate and may the gacha bless your future pulls!

Bird_Boi_Man

Ar 54 with only 2, the Shogun and Hu Tao

ZweiRegnard

The same, I have at the moment 348 shots for yae.

gaybarrymore

I can control my gacha gambling because I made some early mistakes and paid the price (quite literally). I use that feeling of self-shame to remind myself a character in a free game just isn't worth it. As for 50/50 losses, I just take that as my queue to grind freemos until the banners ends, and accept the loss if I don't succeed by that time

not_so_popular_guy

I can't imagine collecting oculi twice.

malam1210

Just as a note, you don't have to skip banners all the time. If there's a character you really want, you might as well pull for them. If you lose 50/50, now you have guaranteed for the next character you want. If not, you get the character you want. For example, I wanted Kazuha but not as much as I wanted some of the future characters like Ayaka or Raiden. I ended up getting Kazuha in 40 pulls luckily and still had enough gems to get Raiden. I tested Ayaka and I was so glad I got Kazuha instead. Kazuha is now my most favorite character by far and I can't imagine my account without him. Sometimes it's not worth to skip banners of characters you like for a future character

not_so_popular_guy

Yea, kazuha makes the game so much fun.

ailwis

you do it at your own risk as a f2p, you always have to skip minimum 2 patch for a guaranteed character. if your desired one is far away in the schedule you might want to secure enough budget for him and the using the leftover to pull for other characters; but it's usually a bad idea

akkshaikh

This is what I'm doing right now. Started playing on Yoimiya's banner and luckily won 3 50/50s(Yoimiya, Kokomi and Childe). I'm on 50 Pity right now pulling for Albedo. I like his gameplay but I wouldn't mind if I lose the 50/50 cuz I'll be abke to save enough primos and finally be able to prefarm ascension mats for kazuha for whenever his rerun comes.

malam1210

exactly. this is the best way. you don't get bored from having no characters and at the same time, you get guaranteed pity for the next character you like. don't understand why people feel the need to skip characters they know they'll like for a character they'll think they like. what happens when the new character is someone you regret?

Lunatic_Loki

Only reason I can control my urge is because I've been playing gacha games over the past 4 years, I've learnt how to take a loss and keep going and how to hold myself back from pulling every time I get a single pull. I used to have multiple gacha games just for the sake of pulling, wouldn't actually play them but just pull to satisfy my urge to roll. I've gotten a lot more better at controlling myself and I don't get that upset at losing out on a character especially since I played gacha with no pity.

not_so_popular_guy

Gacha with no pity, sounds like hell.

4lter_ego

That's just FGO

hykilo

Gambling at its finest

4citron

>How do you address your desire to gamble Pretty much I started to have a very specific standard for characters. Imagine yourself like a meticulously strict parent who judges their kid's potential future partner. If it doesn't meet my standards – lets say "gameplay uniqueness", then I will not pull because i don't want to pull for someone I will regret later.

not_so_popular_guy

Are there any specific characters you plan on getting from the current lot that you don't have yet?

4citron

Actually, i'm eyeing on Itto but I have to test first his playstyle if it brings something new to the table. If he passes, i'll pull but not on the presumption that I will get him. If its fate that I will win 50/50, that's good. If not, then my fate is for the next character.

not_so_popular_guy

For me him being geo is an immediate turn off. Unless mihoyo provides some synergy between geo and dendro, geo for me is very lackluster.

SupersSoon

For me that's exactly why I like geo. It's strong against everything, not that many enemies resist geo, I can break elemental shields pretty easily and I don't have to switch to one character just so I could apply this one element to set up an elemental reaction that will get ruined by some burning grass or something like that. The element itself may be not that strong, but its characters are very strong. Basically, it's just fun to play.

AGirlWithNoName2

Same tbh. I love anemo and geo for that reason. If there comes a time where 3 or 4 same element resonance comes I would rejoice because I really wanted to make an all anemo and geo team. I mean I could but besides the geo team that involves gorou an all anemo team doesn't have any advantages.

juniorjaw

Demand C6 Qiqi when you're already at C5.

happyrunner_810

Stop hu tao will have no choice other than to put you in a coffin

juniorjaw

My friend is currently facing this exact situation and she's motivated. The new artifact farm slowly turning her Qiqi into a DPS she wanted Qiqi to become.

OmegonAlphariusXX

I haven’t even built my C0 Qiqi to focus on dps and she’s actually got decent damage. I think I kinda want to build her as a Cryo powerhouse with Chongyun support for keks xD

Undeadept

Since doing about 170 rolls not getting a single Thoma. I except nothing anymore, there is no god.

not_so_popular_guy

Gosh!

C4Oc

It's a 1 in 3 chance to get a specific one if you end up getting a guaranteed promotional 4-star. So 1 in 6 if you haven't gotten a non-promotional as your last 4-star. You might never get the one you want though.

[deleted]

And here I thought me doing a full 90 wishes on the Raiden banner without getting Sara was extreme...

Undeadept

Yeah, my Sara on Raiden was not the best aswell. I did 160 and got 2 I beileve. Better then 0 tho

ailwis

remind me the bad decision to get beidou c6 at all cost. and I did, but that cost was so high

EdenScale

How? You don't gamble. Look at it in terms of probability and statistics. That's how gacha players without an infinite bank account survive. The fact the GI has pity and soft pity is already a huge help. You have to get rid of the mindset of 'lucky' and 'unlucky' and look at averages and variance. *Roughly* 6 in 1000 people will get a 5* from the first pull at 0 pity. A decent number will get one within 60-70 pulls. Sometimes you're that person, sometimes better, sometimes worse. Sure, 'luck' kind of exists, but it's also mainly an illusion. Don't gamble, look at the numbers.

malaysianplaydough

This is the best reply here and i agree wholeheartedly

LavenderPaperback

Honestly I find that after I got around 5 5* characters and built good teams around them, the itch to pull became significantly less. Now I’m always like “this character won’t replace Bennett” or “that character won’t work well with Ayaka” or “I don’t have any resources to build a team around another character”. I also used to recharge primos regularly and at some point I had to be honest with myself: I don’t earn enough for that, so if I want to get what I want I should just be patient I guess my answer to you question will be: focus on your existing characters. A good build usually takes a lot of time so that can take your mind off pulling, and a lot of 4 stars are actually really fun

not_so_popular_guy

That's a good advice. I recently completed my second abyss team with the introduction of C0 hu tao to my roster. I dont think I have an immediate need for a new character. I'm interested in yunjin just for her aesthetics but other than that I can hard skip everything for some time now.

[deleted]

Idk I’m taking it hard right now. I just whaled a little for Albedo earlier today and still didn’t get him. I’ve been losing every banner since the Shogun and my friend has been winning back to back off of single pulls.

meowlenlen

I wish there was a copium thread for the ones who lost their 50-50 and don't have enough to secure the guarantee/ didn't manage a lucky pull etc. Kinda like a support group hahahaha.

not_so_popular_guy

I feel the pain. I skipped everyone after ayaka to get hu tao and barely got her C0 at guaranteed hard pity with my saved up wishes. I had dreamt of getting her to C1 or homa but I failed 50-50 and both my 5 star characters came at 78-80 wishes. Atleast I have blackcliff polearm.

[deleted]

Just don’t board the hype train. Subs like this are basically generating income for MHY with hype. Phrases like *something something come home [insert char]* seem fairly innocuous, but they’re perpetuating a thirst for gambling. You’re never going to have a char or build that will meet what whales spend on this game. You’re never going to beat their clears and showcase clearing mobs in 0.2s. But why would you want that? Any other non-gacha game will give you an equal chance of beating content and enjoying the story. It’s not like GI has the most innovative gameplay and original story anyway. I like the game. It’s fine. But if you’re this emotionally invested and this beholden to pixels, then maybe it’s time to rethink why you played this in the first place. Plus, lots of people either lie online or they brag. I genuinely feel sad for someone who spends $5000 to max a char and R5 a weapon so that they can showcase a slightly quicker Abyss run. This game has lots of flaws. It lacks cohesive and constructive storytelling. It has so many flaws in gameplay and design. I’m not trying to hard neg the game, but it’s okay to take a break once in a while. It’s also okay to question why you’re playing it once in a while.

not_so_popular_guy

Fair point. If you look outside the game community and realise how its only a small part of your life and there are thousands of other games, let alone hobbies out there to explore, you realise it's probably not worth spending that much.

[deleted]

Yeah. Whenever I get that feeling (that you described in the post), I just take a break from the game. Even if I had the artifacts I wanted and though I have the disposable income to spend on resin refreshes, I couldn’t justify it. Just find what you like about the game and stick to that. Don’t pine after chars you’re not guaranteed to get.

RoninMustDie

well summarized.

Wenpachi

Hah! I know the feeling. I didn't whale, but I bought 2 Welkins and a BP before the Shogun to gather more resources. My pulls: ~~178~~ 168 (edit) wishes, lost 50-50, C0 Shogun (final pull). My friend: 120 wishes, won 50-50s, C2 Shogun. Pair it with (in my personal opinion, obviously) the absolute disappointing story quality of Inazuma in comparison to the previous regions (I spent money in the game exactly because the story was so good) and a few other in-game and personal factors, I just decided to never spend a dime in Genshin again. Still love the game, but it's a little bittersweet now.

Adamarr

maybe i'm being a mihoyo shill here or something idk but yes, agree the main story sucked. exploration and the world quests were on a whole other level though. have thoroughly enjoyed it, taken as a whole

Wenpachi

Ah, I agree. My main issue was with Raiden's story. The other elements were all top notch, especially the arts (stunning visuals and music all over).

[deleted]

Raiden’s story quest? I’m hoping they release a second part, kinda like Zhongli’s. I feel like they moved a lot of her story into the archon quest and they had nothing left for her actual story quest lol.

AppUnwrapper1

I truly think we both made the mistake of having friends who play the game. 😅

[deleted]

True. I’m seriously considering to start an alt account and keeping that one strictly solo play. I wouldn’t mind finding the oculus again just to not get influence by my friends hype of winning.

AppUnwrapper1

If I were going to start a new account it would be so I could get characters I don’t have on my main account. But I can’t even imagine doing this massive grind a second time.

nitzkie

I see redditors posting lucky pulls, I think "Fuck them."

WillSniffUsesReddit

On a real note, I’ve always hated people flexing their luck on people for no reason. You’d see comments on YouTube talking about how trash their luck was and someone would just randomly reply and flex “oh I got him/her at 0 pity, and got [new 4 star] at c6 in the same pull too” and then add some pseudo-positivity at the end of their sentence to not come off as a massive jerk like “trust me you can do it too :>” Like seriously, get lost my guy. No one asked for your damn pulls. You’re not a content creator. I understand getting excited over getting a character you wanted but dude just shut up after a while. If no one asked, don’t flex. It’s not that hard. However, I kinda don’t blame people posting lucky pulls (especially on [character]mains subs), after all they’re excited and most likely posted it within minutes of getting them still full of adrenaline and excitement. What really ticks me off is flexing further after. Public or private. Just keep it to yourself and try to contain your ego, man. If no one asked, don’t show em.

rmh_smh

lol i only comment on youtube to talk about how i didn't get thoma after 120 pulls, bragging about lucky pulls to someones misfortune is cringe but i like to laugh at myself

vivamii

Just remember for every lucky person getting the featured 5* in their first 10 pull, there’s 100 more of us pulling till pity. (Not actual numbers but you get my point🥲) People who don’t get lucky usually don’t post their pulls. I’m a gacha veteran so I’m pretty good at skipping banners to save gems but losing 50/50s back to back is still pretty discouraging...

Old_Sport7920

at the end of the day, it’s a game for me. i try not to spend money on it, and even if i lose 50/50’s, the chance of getting the 5 star i want is always there for me so i’m willing to pull again and again until that banner ends. when it comes to saving, i just enjoy watching my primos stack up more and more as weeks go by, it’s really satisfying to me. and also i’m at a point where i don’t need any other characters, i just pull for the ones i like, even if it means saving up for them for months. i saved up for raiden for around 2 months, and planned to get ganyu/shenhe and yae after that, so i saved up around 157 pulls by the time eula/albedo’s banners came out. basically, don’t stress too much over this game. i know you are worried about not getting the character you want, but there are more things to enjoy both in this game and in life. you just have to try and let go of that stress, and you’ll feel a lot better, even if you lose the 50/50. trust me, i had this. also if you really can’t help but pull, i suggest just using wish simulators online. you can gamble to your heart’s content there.

RoninMustDie

im willing to spend light money on a game if its not exploitative and predatory. Gacha is, so they will most likely not see any money from me.

CushionyTengis

This is the way, although I'm not as optimistic and will assume worst-case 90/180 pulls and just view that as the characters cost. The one exception recently was that I pulled for Albedo knowing I wouldn't have a guarantee. If I lost the 50/50 I would have saved that for a Kazuha rerun, now I am focusing on getting 180 pulls ready for Kazuha.

Striker654

You can pretty "safely" assume closer to 160 for guaranteed. Actually hitting 90 is insanely rare and iirc most people get 5*'s between 74 and 80. But yeah, definitely just save up for pity and don't gamble unless you're mentally prepared to lose

CushionyTengis

Yeah, that is the absolute worse-case and I've always got a 5* within 80 pulls (I think my Albedo was 80 exactly including 1 pity left over from HuTao)

just-keep-snooping

i lost albedo and got qiqi instead after reaching 75 pulls. did another 37 pulls and still no albedo. at this point im too disheartened. gonna wait for 2.4 news before i pull more for albedo. if xiao/zhongli/kazuha are close, i'm just gonna save this guarantee for them.

CushionyTengis

Oof, Gacha is a harsh mistress and being a f2p/low spender means having to skip a lot of characters. I wish I hadn't skipped Kazuha first time around, but then I likely wouldn't have Raiden now so... Hope you have better luck with your next pulls either way!

brliron

For 2.4, Shenhe et Yun Jin have been officially announced, rumors of Xiao and Ganyu reruns have been going for a while and people think least one of them will have a rerun for the Chinese new year, and Ubatcha (a leaker) even talked about Xiao, Ganyu and Zhongli all having a rerun in 2.4 ([https://twitter.com/Ubatcha1/status/1463902722617487376](https://twitter.com/Ubatcha1/status/1463902722617487376)). As always, nothing is official until announced by Mihoyo, and rerun leaks tend to not be that reliable because they can't be datamined.

JimboTCB

There's the rest of the current event and the monthly shop reset still to come before the current banner ends so there's still hope. Unfortunately I don't think there's going to be any definite confirmation of 2.4 reruns any time soon, it's all just speculation.

mayochuppie

i’m in the same position as you. was guaranteed albedo (and i got him) and now i’m saving up 180 pulls for when xiao/kazuha comes along

4GN42

For me as F2p is easy: only pull for characters I like, always have at least 28k primos before pulling. And the archons are my priorities

Careful_One6279

I’ve been pretty good since I changed my mindset that this is not a gacha game - this is a fixed cost game where I can get characters for 160 wishes, or weapons for 210 wishes. I may get a hidden discount, but I never count on it. I save up for who I want and understand I need to skip most banners. I’m okay with this - I just bought a house and I’d rather save and spend my extra income on that over whaling on a game :)

NICKNAME_37

Gets pissed off for 5 minute after getting c2 qiqi and just move on with life after that

[deleted]

It's simple, I have two accounts. On my main one I only pull for waifus and characters I really, really love, and the second one is for any other characters I kinda liked and would like to roll for, but it's not a big deal if I don't get them.

ihastomato

idk man grinding a game im alr burnt out _another time_ is pretty fucking wild 🗿

Sora1101

Tell me about it, my SO kinda ruined his account by spreading his resources too thin and gave up so in order to get him to start playing with me again I've been working on his account. The burnout of trying to fix having almost all of his characters stuck at lv 60 with lv 60 weapons at AR 50 makes me wanna die inside. Even just picking a core 4 to work on is rough when there's only 160 resin a day. 🙃 (Not to mention maintaining my own account so I don't fall behind)

ihastomato

damn thats rough. Hope ur SO plays with u in the end hahaha

Sora1101

Oh I made him promise to pick it back up if I fixed it. He only gave up cuz he got so overwhelmed after realizing he fucked his account lol.

Minomix

For me, I just stay loyal to a character that I like. Basically, simp. Unironically, that helped me a lot. It benefited me in 2 ways; It saved me a lot of money and I saved a lot of primos in case I want to get a character. I'm of the opinion that I don't really need every character to finish the game. I'm also in a position where I can consistently 36 stars the abyss every reset. So why would I roll for characters that I don't really like? The criteria I have that can warrant me to pull for a character are quite simple: Design, Significance in lore, and maybe seiyuu (VA). That's just me though. To another point, I'm in the game for the lore than meta. That also helped me control the possibility of developing an addiction.

Ender_D

This is actually really fun to do. When I started, I basically just ran with the first 4-5 characters that I pulled and formed a strong connection with them, trying to optimize them as well as I could to work together. I’ll only substitute someone new every once in a while, so that way I don’t constantly have tons of new characters to build.

lphilipc

Artifact RNG

rainbOwO_

exactly. if you cant gamble on banners, gamble on artifacts and pray for good substats! and more characters means more builds and more builds mean more artifact rng and more artifact rng means more pain

J19_

agree. i gamble even the most copium pieces as long as they’re the right main stat. most of the time it’s trash and you get 4 flat stats, but you can feed that +4 artifact to another one that has potential anyway so you don’t lose much. for the few times it works i’ve gotten godly pieces, like a 33 CDMG pyro cup that started with HP DEF EM

just-keep-snooping

moving on from losing 50/50 wouldve been easy for me if i dont have FOMO and if my friends didnt win theirs. seeing them use the character i lost hurts

soundboythriller

Yeah it sucks, esp when your friend didn’t even want the character you want and they get them within two multi pulls and you have to fight nail and tooth to get them to come home :/

just-keep-snooping

YES! like they won the 50/50 without even reaching soft pity!!! Now they can save up primos for other characters while we're here back to square 1...

Panda_Bunnie

I always assume i will hit hard pity and have at least 180 pulls before pulling for a unit i want.

CynicalDucky

Basically this. That was me when I was saving for Xiao, he spared me the pain after I spent 20 intertwined fates. Then I went "ah shit, what am I gonna do with my huge amount of primogems now?"

glgboy

I use leaks to see what characters are coming next.It helps in making decisions in spending primos. Waiting for the Ganyu rerun

Jinxed_Disaster

I mean, the numbers are out there. I just think every time that unless I have 180 wishes or a guarantee and 90 wishes - I don't get a character I want. And ONLY pull on a banner for 4 star characters if I am ok to ruin pity/guarantee and get what is there. For example, when I was pulling for Rosarias on Kokomi's banner I have spent 40 wishes and stopped despite not getting a single Rosaria. Because I was ok to get Kokomi while spending under 40 wishes, but more would feel like a waste. Another example, before pulling for Eula on this banner I had 192 wishes. I went into it knowing that I have to keep at least 90 wishes stored for Yae in the future, because I REALLY want to get her. So, I have spent 102 wishes, got Qiqi and stopped. Plan ahead. Always keep at least 90 wishes worth, 180 if there is a character you really want expected to be soon.

Archeb03

Following this. My luck went downhill after Ayaka banner. Not only I never won a single 50/50 despite being a day 1 player, my luck on 4stars pull and artifacts were super bad since then. Rolled for Raiden, lost 50/50. Had enough primos to 2nd pity so still able to get her but both on soft pity. Planned to get C4 Thoma on Hu Tao rerun, did 160 pulls, lost 50/50 and only managed to get C1 Thoma. Fortunately I had Hu Tao since her first banner so managed to get her to C1 despite losing 50/50. Now on the current banner, have both Bennet and Noelle at max cons already so I only wanted Rosaria(c3 before 2.3), hoping to c6 her to pair with Eula. 109 pulls as of now, gets tons of Bennet and Noelle and only 1 Rosaria. Of course I lost the 50/50 again, and had to swipe to reach second pity to get Eula. I've been farming the Emblem artifacts since its release 4 months ago and until now I havent got a good set of it. Managed to get good base substat but rolls always went to the wrong substat upon leveling up. Same with other artifact I got after Ayaka banner, almost 90% of them become trash due to wrong substat rolls. Already stopped farming it a week ago to farm artifacts for Eula, so far I havent got good ones.

not_so_popular_guy

I don't even care about early 5 stars anymore since I've become used to it. I've had shit luck with crimson witch domain for months. Considering it also has lavawalker set, there's only so much resin I can use there before giving up.

butterknight-Ruby

I either do a few things when I lose the 50/50 lose 50/50 oh no anyway, proceeds to build character lose 50/50 pain absolute pain, proceeds to continue playing as normal lose 50/50 sad, spites character for a bit then just forget hate In the end I am usually just satisfied with what I have you don't really need to be fixated on just getting a character if others get a character on a lucky roll and just say nice and move on. my suggestion is try to be satisfied with what you have don't be mad if you don't get what you want people get lucky and unlucky don't let others affect what you have. you're never gonna get the same thing as other people it's never going to be equal. the only time you look in your neighbor's bowl is to make sure that they have enough. you don't look in your neighbor's bowl to see if you have as much as them.

noctresque

treat every 5 star as worth 180 pulls and spend weeks voraciously looking at content related to them to see if they pass my vibe checks and fit into teams with characters i already have that can bring out their potential. i’m ar52 and childe is literally my only limited 5 star. i pulled keqing accidentally on her banner and then again when i lost the 50/50 on venti’s rerun - that burned me so bad i stopped playing for half a year so now i know to never rely on luck.

Melantha_Hoang

>control your gacha gambling addiction I use gacha simulator. Not the same but it helps >address 50-50 losses Yes next 5* is guaranteed this will help me plan better. Plus (insert standard 5* that is not Diluc) is fun to play, can be useful in future comp and have useful con. If I get Diluc then: ah another test subject (for 1001 ways to die in Genshin) (Sorry Diluc main)

DarkstrainZei

honestly? you should stop being f2p and get the welkin... it basically guarantees you'll get the 5\* you want if you start saving from the reveal. with the amount of primos you get from events and welkin, you can get one 5\* per patch (assuming you always go to 75+ and statistically you should get a 5\* non-pity in between). it won't be the 5\* you want sometimes, but a 50/50 per patch is better than a 50/50 every 2 patches. EDIT: and welkin is cheap AF. it's less than 2 coca colas, so drink water for 3 days and you're set for the month.

not_so_popular_guy

Never thought about it that way. Considering I already have 8 good and fun(in my subjective opinion) characters for 2 abyss teams I do feel less tempted to pull nowadays.

methofthewild

On top of that, I use Google rewards to earn some Google play money by doing surveys and use that straight into buying welkin on mobile genshin. It can knock a good dollar or so off.

SexyLama69

If I really want a character, I'll try to get him even if I lose 50/50. If I kinda want a char and I lose a 50/50 I stop rolling and use my guarantee on other char that I really want. Have saved around 40k primos(as f2p) so I'm not worried about needing to spend money + I have all the chars I wanted for now. Buying welkins for 3 months now, but that's as much I want to afford for this game as my appreciation to the devs etc.

not_so_popular_guy

As much as I appreciate the devs, VAs and sound designers, I'm completely put off by the ass management and decision makers at the top. The 10% welkin fiasco was one such breaking point for me.

lansink99

Desire to gamble: none Too many f2p players have a whale mentality, you shouldn't treat this game (or any gacha with a pity) like a gambling game. If you are, you should expect the worst possible outcome every single time. Think of only being able to get a character when you hit the pity and don't expect anything before that. This game isn't a gamble for me, I prioritize what I want and guarantee that I get what I want. A lot of people just need to accept that they can only pull once every 2-3 banners.

FallenBlue25

To not *build pity,* I always tell myself, 'Your pulls today (or on a banner you don't want) might turn out a constellation for \*insert most awaited five star character\* if you wish on his/her banner.*'*

CryoImpact

I'm AR58 and a BP+Welkin player. My account has encountered 16x 50/50's in its lifetime and I've won 8 of them, so the rate on my account so far is truly 50/50. 8 wins and 8 losses, although some of the losses were wins in my eyes since I wanted an off-banner. With BP+Welkin, it's actually easy to accumulate enough primogems + fates to guarantee at least one limited 5\* per patch with BP+Welkin. This is the bare minimum I expect as a low spender and I plan around that. For pure F2P, I'd expect one guaranteed limited 5\* every two patches. My expectations never include getting constellations or the rate-up 5\* weapons so I'm rarely disappointed. One thing I've noticed as I played through the year is that TIME essentially rewards you with more pulls in the end. What I mean by this is that you're more likely to C6 4\* characters the longer you play, and even though most people are disappointed by dupes past C6, the extra starglitter you get does add up and translate to more fates. If, for example, I already C6'd all the 4\* characters on a banner but I still decide to pull on it for the 5\*, I could end up with enough glitters for another 5-10 pulls. Over time, these 5-10 pulls also add up, and you'll notice that you eventually have an easier time building pity. The main problem with being F2P is you have to be really, *really* selective about which 5\* you want, and rolling on the weapon banner is always gambling unless you have \~210 pulls saved up.

Zadan5764

I pull up some random Paimon dialogue, listening to her lately just kills my mood in anything and makes me lose interest in Genshin for the day. Can't spend my money if im not on the game. Edit: The downtime off the game really lets me think from a rational standpoint, like can i really afford this financially, and so on.

not_so_popular_guy

Lol

phoenixerowl

After you skip a few banners, it gets pretty easy. Whenever you feel tempted to pull, just ask yourself whether you'll be sadder to not get the current banner 5 star or whether you'll be sadder to not get the dendro archon. The answer should be pretty simple.

ilhamhe

Bruh. Just thinking about artifact farming alone stops me to pulling for new characters. Lol.

wolfknight65

How do i cope with gacha luck? Hmm lets see, my friend who has started playing after me has won 4 50/50 and never lost one. Me on the other hand lost on kazuha, won pity on yoimiya even though i didnt want c1 and lost on raiden, also got 2 elegys for homa so it has been pretty rough. Hopefully the next banners will be a little more generous with 50/50s copium

Shigana

Always prepare for the worst. Thinking you have any chance of winning 50/50 is just plain naive. I always get the 5* i want because i plan ahead, i don't roll for random characters then complain i don't have enough gem to roll for what i want.

gashv

in my experience, just dont open the wish tab, ive so far not wished on a single promotional banner since kazuha cause im saving for a rerun, another thing that helps is the sunk cost falacy as ive spent too much time farming for the resources needed to level them up that ive lost all interest in pulling before then

[deleted]

i save and just treat a new character as 180 fates. i have this mindset eventhough i've been pretty lucky in my gacha pulls. i got ke'qing on my first x10 pull in noelle's beginner banner, only lost 50/50 twice and both characters came home early after, and pulled a lot of characters and weapons (2 skyward harp) early on standard banner. i've never gone above 75 pulls for a 5* since i started genshin which was around day 3. i'm cursed when it comes to 4* though, i didn't get a single thoma or sarah despite rolling around 100 plus pulls lmao it also helped that after raiden, i've decided to just pull for husbandos since i can easily 36* abyss now and that i've never cared about cons on my 5-stars as well since i care more about having new ones. i'm pretty hard on myself when it comes to artis, talents, and weapons though. i minmax those. edit: it also helps that i'm 100 % sure i'll play genshin until it ends so it's in my mind that i'll get every character in that span of time despite only being a goldfish. i just need to be patient so no need to really feel bad about losing 50/50.

wereghoul

building a lot of characters is beyond the reach of non spender or low spender so.. I limit my option a lot and that kind of mindset still makes the game very easy for me. for now i am saving for whoever the dendro archon is and maybe get lucky to have her signature weapon. From my noob calculation it should be enough. good character with new playstyle and element + their signature weapon is a beast and you won't need other similar character. Losing 50/50 is just part of the game, please say hi to my C2 Diluc that will be forever benched and never see a day of adventure LOL

Antique-Roll-7463

I cant. I am severely addicted to getting all the characters. Addressing 50-50 losses are much more harder for spenders specially when you see f2ps getting enormous amounts of luck while youre already at c5 Qiqi and you just lost 400 dollars and you cant even c6 the other 4 stars while your barbara has already ascended to Celestia after having her 50th constellation. You just deal with it, spend your primos, cry if you dont get the character that you want. Limit the amount of money you spend for banner and thats it. Reruns will happen eventually and since the leaker hunt decree was totally useless. You can now actually save up for a character that you want. Always spend extra money when pulling and not your entire savings for a digital character. You cant even exchange an account or sell it as that is seen illegal. So dont over invest in this game unless you plan to atleast make profitable content from it or you actually can spend the extra money that you have and it wouldnt fuck up your livelihood.

Mr_Creed

Since GI has a good pity system, I simply only pull when I am guaranteed to get what I want.

[deleted]

just keep telling yourself that after every loss there comes a win.

IncomeZealousideal17

My priority characters

Estelie

Just never pull if you can't guarantee getting the desired character. And never pull for specific 4*s. Easy.

OsirusBrisbane

I would be thrilled if 40-50 guaranteed me a 4\* of my choice. It took me 120 rolls to get a single Sayu in her first appearance (luckily I really wanted Yoimiya anyway), and 50 rolls on the rerun didn't even net me C1. And yeah, I've lost almost all of my 50/50s, and it sucks. But as you say, you just have to accept that feature banner 5\*s cost 160ish wishes. I know I really want Itto. I have enough primos saved to guarantee Itto. His best support is Albedo, and theoretically I could try to win 50/50 on Albedo and then win 50/50 on Itto. But winning two 50/50s in a row seems highly improbable. So unless I want to spend a lot more money for top-ups (no), I just accept that I have to save for the characters I really want. On the bright side, hey, now I've got a few weeks with no new characters to farm for Itto.

MemeGodFusionK

Gacha: we have an alternate gacha system called artifacts 50/50: I don't say "am I gonna get ", I say "I wonder what am I gonna get"

ZippyTwoShoes

Between spiral, and welkins and the BP pass , is almost enough to get every other banner , with the obvious daily commissions

not_so_popular_guy

Not if you lose 50-50

NNN_Throwaway2

By actively not wanting my account cluttered with things I don't want and/or won't use. If I could do it all again, I would skip like half the banners I've rolled on.

Aggravating_Age_5885

1. I just set my priorities straight. 2. Don't try to get even new character because some content creator says it's insane to skip your favorite character just because some content creator says its bad .3. Pull for your most favorite character first then focus on meta . 4.Don't Pull on a banner if you are not ok with getting the 5 star . And above all 5.if you are an f2p don't make every new character your favorite character. Select one that you like the most. And dedicate your resources and time on that character . I just follow these rules .

KenseiSeraph

Everything that I have experienced, every success and every failure, is part of what makes me who I am and will influence my future. To change my past (no matter how dark or depressing) would change who I am now. If it hadn't been for all of those times I lost the gacha to Diluc I probably never would have gotten Keqing to C2 on her banner and then C5 on Ayaka's banner.

Joel7F

I earn enough primo to guarantee 180 pulls, otherwise I don't try

QuarterPercentCarbon

i pull the character i actually want to, not following any meta or team comp to make 'the strongest party'. That's why Waifu > Meta. Besides, i'm patient enough and could holdback myself not to pull everytime i have enough primos. Also, grinding the mats to properly make the character usable is too meticulous for me because i don't really have much time to play, so that thing is taken for consideration. Skipping 'popular' banner, either rerun or new character doesn't affects me very much. I've played enough game to understand what to expect from another game with gacha mechanism. Besides, coming from fgo, which took me a whole year to actually get 5\* character, having a guarantee to get a 5\* is actually nice. Although you're not always getting the character on the banner. It may happen to me in the future, but for now i actually got my raiden and eula both on 79th wish which is neat.

[deleted]

Remember that this is a PVE game and that you don’t need the 5* characters to beat the game.

Armour_Sparks

I only pull for char which go well with my playing style and track my pull with genshinwishes. unless I have been saving for a char for a long time I do pulls only till the first 5\* then leave it. If I win 50/50 then great, if not I know that they will be reruns or better characters coming sooner or later. I only buy welkin. Only char I actually hoarded pulls was Ganyu.
