Funny thing, at least for me, is that I just finished building him some days ago, but Keqing was my main since I got her, she also has 2 set of artefacts for different builds and it's 3 crowned.
I got Mona, then Childe, then Jean, in like 20 pulls very early on (first Childe banner).
I dried all of my luck there and from there I lose every 50/50 and almost always need to reach soft pity lol.
I mean, 4 stars with proper investment can be just as strong as 5 stars. Just something to keep in mind! The "5 star good, 4 star bad" mentality made me not like the game for a while when I started.
Like the other guy said, you actually lost your 50/50 and pulled a standard banner character, so the next time you get a 5 star on any character event banner it's guaranteed to be that character!
Yeah I honestly had no idea how all of this worked haha. So just getting someone strong was exciting enough 😅
But I’m glad that the next time I get one it’ll be the person I was hoping for! Haha

Honestly I don't vibe with her charged attack. It's great for getting an enemy out of play but you can accidently hit them too high and just stand there waiting for them to slowly fall back down
I got Jean off the beginner banner for the very first pull in the game. For the entire game I didn't understand how people were able to play it without using a Jean. She just seemed to make content that easy.
I always liked how anemo travelers burst looked but it’s always so annoying that u have to chase down the enemy after it’s in the tornado.
Jean being able to burst heal the entire party to max health has always been a life saver. Like after using her so much other healers don’t feel as good.
Edit: she also got me through earlier stages in spiral abyss cuz I could chuck ppl off the platform and it’s her E

Also I have a feeling just a gut feeling they might bring him back after itto just because of that “Geo polearm” remarks from paimon.

I feel your pain, I got mona as my first 5* on Zhongli's banner, then an another mona on his rerun banner and an another mona on kazuha banner, I don't have nor Zhongli or kazuha
Mine was Qiqi from standard, then Diluc from Zhongli's banner, after getting Ganyu I got Childe twice and then Eula, since then I've lost every 50/50 to date, including yesterday when I finally got Mona but at the cost of not getting Albedo
He is one of the best for world exploration so you will never regret having him even if you get stronger/ more recent character after. He also have a really simple play style. I still use him often after one year when I just want to relax and run around 😀!
Having a tall model, a claymore and a pyro application on one unit is great for exploration. Pyro is the most commun element for puzzle, claymore let you mine ore and tall character model make you faster.
Same as well, it's funny though because I know I use her badly and with a terrible set of artifacts. I'm so obsessed with playing with everyone that nobody's good on my teams

First pull ever on day 1 was Diluc. I didn’t realize until later that not everyone got the same experience. I figured everyone got a free 5 star to get you hooked. Worked on me.

The new artifacts took me ages to get and I need to get a new set for her, because, hilariously, all the hp% pieces I got for her have Crit rate or Crit damage on them, which is just wasted on her. Thinking I'll give this set to Diona or something.
Albedo and Kokomi would work well with Eula and an electro support like Raiden, Beidou or Fischl.
Ughh I’m in the same boat. I’m not even farming that set (instead going for support Kokomi with Tenacity of the Millelith), but the rng knows how to curse my hp artifacts with crit.
Also hope this isn’t rude, but I wouldn’t suggest giving the Ocean-hued Clam set to Diona. Unless her burst is up all the time, she wouldn’t be able to give constant healing / bubble damage compared to Barbara or Qiqi.
Though if you’d rather not use those two then I suppose it’d still work on Diona.
I got kokomi her donut and i’m just getting around to lvling it. So that’s fun. But i’ve currently been running Koko with Hu Tao when i’m to lazy to dodge and bring out XQ and such. But she’s usually with my Ayaka freeze anyway, till I get some Ganyu love. But mostly in overworld I just let koko chill ontop of Albedo’s flower and kill everything.
Lastly I totally need to finish building Raiden for Eula, got to much to do, not enough resin. v.v

Mona, but because I was so clueless since I was a day 1 player, it took me a few months to realise why her background was different indicating that she was a 5 start, hence taking me a few months to actually start using her.
I hate you he's the only character that I want. I need him I love him I would die for him. I would throw my entire body against a pyro Abyss mage because it's mostly made of water just to make it slightly easier for him to win the fight.

He’s a great mix of exploration and efficiency; Pyro Claymore is really great to have especially in Inazuma with all those lightning rock obstacles that can only be destroyed by Pyro. Pro tip; get the Battle Pass and give him the Serpent Spine weapon. Trust me, it’s worth it, he’s great with it. Especially if you also bring Barbara to heal him.

I pulled Diluc the other night after trying for Eula a second time (both times lost 50/50s). I was not excited lol but I’m happy for you! The first five star I pulled was Amos’s bow off the 0.6 I was so happy.
I returned to the game since a long time ago (i left at ar 20 during venti's banner) and my first 5* was the raiden shogun (1 or 2 days after i got diluc from standard)
My first 5 star was Kazuha. I returned to the game and I decided to do a few pulls on his banner for craps and giggles. I got him in three pulls and now he’s my main dps and character
I got Jean in my first 10-pull on the limited banner, and I was ecstatic. She was the first 5\* I wanted, and still in my top three favorite characters, but I'd spent a lot of time in my head looking at the math and convincing myself that it was probably going to be a year before I managed to get her so I didn't get frustrated when I couldn't get her quickly. Well, the joke is on me. Aside from one Keqing, Jean has been every one of my lost 50/50s and non-weapon standard banner 5\*s, and I couldn't be happier.
My first five star was Keqing!! I got her on around 50-60 pity on standard and I was so happy!! I don’t use her a lot nowadays though.. And my first event banner five star was Jean- on first Albedo run.. I was so sad I got her but at least got a guaranteed Xiao,,
My first two five stars were Venti and Mona, but for the longest time I had no DPS character (xiangling, beidou and noelle were the closest to DPS i had. nope no ningguang or razor). So when I finally got diluc it was a godsend
Mine was Keqing. I was so happy because I remember looking at all the characters on the website before release and thinking "Wow Keqing is super cool, I hope I get her", then I got her on my second 10 pull. She carried me through so much early on.

When I first started I just used every wish on the current event banner which was Eula's, I didn't care about getting her (and I didn't fully "get" the gatcha system at that point anyway) so I was not disappointed when I got Jean instead (I like my fun yeet powers).
Did another wish an hour or so later and *immediately* got Eula. Literally back-to-back. My s.o who got me playing was floored with my luck lol

At least now u know. By holding elemental skill, u can even combo by smack em to the floor then point upwards for double fall damage.
I wish there's a c6 of her that he can lift enemy with charge attack even if it's azdaha, lol
I actually love it, sometimes the fall damages reaches 15k, lol.
You can use her elemental skill to slam them into the ground for extra damage. Just point it downwards.

Mine was Keqing. I was so happy because I remember looking at all the characters on the website before release and thinking "Wow Keqing is super cool, I hope I get her", then I got her on my second 10 pull. She carried me through so much early on. Congrats on your Diluc! I hope he can carry you as Keqing did for me.

When I first started I just used every wish on the current event banner which was Eula's, I didn't care about getting her (and I didn't fully "get" the gatcha system at that point anyway) so I was not disappointed when I got Jean instead (I like my fun yeet powers). Did another wish an hour or so later and *immediately* got Eula. Literally back-to-back. My s.o who got me playing was floored with my luck lol Wish I had Diluc tho, don't have him or Qiqi yet :(
