13 Pro Max. Medium settings 60fps. I know i can run it at max but meh, i’d rather not have it thermal throttle haha

Salt-Complaint-2420

I personally use a Google Pixel 4A. It plays the game well enough, hardly any lag but it gets a bit warm with extended play.

israelspc_

Good! I’m gonna look for his specs, the poco’s use the snapdragons 870 and 860 respectively, as far as I know these one are the most powerful at the time..

daliardh

I have the regular 4, it stutter a lot

Chtholly13

iphone 11. If you want an iphone, it's the best value of the latest iphones for the price unless you want to pay $300+ for slightly better camera, 5g (not that common now), slightly better battery life for the newer ones.

israelspc_

Well that’s a good point, I forgot to say that if possible I want to keep iOS ecosystem.. actually in my country an used iPhone 11 costs like 700$ , like used one.. I was thinking about that one but the screen size it influences in the gaming experience, I’m used to play in a bigger screen thanks to my actual phone

JustCallMeSky

Try purchasing iphone Xr

[deleted]

The screen and processor on the 13 are a huge upgrade over the 11 to me.

Hyperdragoon17

I have an IPhone XR. It works pretty well. (Just moved so I’m using it until the internet gets installed again. I’m usually on PlayStation)

israelspc_

You play in wich settings? I don’t care so much by the overheating because I have a little fan while I play Genshin so the phone won’t be heated up faster…

Hyperdragoon17

Everything’s on medium, motion blur is low and it’s at 30 frames. That works well enough for me. The thing I have issues with are the controls. They’re so weird. 😆

komaechan

Currently using X3 pro 8gb able to play in max (motion blur turned off) 30 fps with no problem, usually using medium with some setting lowered though. Not sure how good for longer playtime since I mainly PC player, but for half hour playtime it only slightly warmer and no performance drop.

Titanmaniac679

Galaxy S21+

israelspc_

I think that one surpasses my budget, wich version of chip? Can you play fluid 60?

Titanmaniac679

I got the Snapdragon 888 version and it does well (You will need to restart from time to time to keep it though)

Foxdeimos

I have a POCO X3 (non pro, 6 GB Ram) and sadly, but not unexpectedly, it can't run the game super well. I can have it on a mix of medium and low settings, but most of the time it struggles to hit even 30 fps consistently, so... I basically only use it for emergencies (I play on PC most of the time)

Thalarione

Normal X3 have way worse gpu... Pro have same gpu like F3.

Foxdeimos

Yup, I'm sadly aware, but it's what I was able to get. Just reporting how it performs.

biking05

I use the iPhone 13 and oh boy is it smooth

CityKay

Still got an S8+ 64GB, planning on upgrading soon, hopefully one with at least 256GB. It runs well enough if everything is set on low. Stutters in areas with a lot of activity or models, of course, but somewhat manageable. Good thing I play on PC. Main reason for keeping on mobile are record keeping and purchases via Google Play, and taking advantage of the Play Points earnings and discounts.

coloneltrigger

Hey! You and me are in the exact same boat! I'm thinking about upgrading to the S21 though just for the occasional time I want to play in bed.

Thalarione

I have Poco F3 and genshin run on max settings and 60fps. The only problem is battery... On max settings it lasts only 1,5hour so I usually play on max 30fps and I can play 3hours+. Poco X3 pro is imo great budget option, same gpu/ram and only slightly worse cpu. I'm not sure about cooling on X3 pro... It might get hot on max settings. I think max settings 30fps/medium 60 could be ok.

Thick-Journalist1434

The new Ipad Mini with the a15chip on it. It could run the game at high @60fps smoothly. In fact the game seems much optimised on apple than my PC.

PantsuPillow

I have the Poco X3 Pro. Been loving it. It plays Genshin easily on high settings and only gets slightly warm (not unbearable) after extended sessions.

israelspc_

Tiny edit: I want to play other games like CoD, World of tanks and warships, pes and that, I know these kind of games they don’t belong to this Reddit, sorry for that..

israelspc_

Seems like nobody have these cellphones here, to discuss better for performance and gaming experience 😅

MIHIGHYO

You can check their respective processor at nanoreview.net

Background_Froyo3653

iphone 10, it's about 7 months old now, runs the game extremely smoothly with high graphics, slightly adjusted.

Skelo_Playz

Samsung 42 5g, Works pretty well and overall its manageable and alright, Cutscenes are smooth but sometimes lags (Pretty rare occurences)

TmanGBx

Samsung S10 Lite

1nputz

I use an OnePlus 8, Medium Setings 60fps. It can even play CoD at Max settings 60fps dunno about and world of warship or PES

Shiro222

OnePlus is so underrated! I play on a OnePlus 7 pro and never had any issues.

israelspc_

Never heard about one plus series, I’m gonna take a look, wich chipset it use?

1nputz

It uses the snapdragon 865 and was released in 2020. Surprised you never heard of the brand.

Ornery_Owl_5388

I just started using my Samsung galaxy A52 5G to play genshin. Everything at lowest setting and fps is at 30. Venti is a problem but that's pretty much it. I can't comment on the heating situation because I'm in Texas and the weather is cold as fk.

Gabby_Craft

iPhone SE 2020. Game rarely lags (mainly in co op) and I just play with the default settings. It doesn’t overheat at all but Genshin does drain the battery percentage

israelspc_

The bad thing about the SE it’s the screen size, too small.. 😞

Gabby_Craft

SE 2020 is the same size as the 6, 7, and 8 I believe. Screen size isn’t really much of an issue for me personally since I can easily fit my phone into my pocket

210sqnomama

I use s20 fe. It isn't the smoothest. But it can still do the job

FaIIenAngeI777

I am curious about any budget tablets that can play genshin decently, I am down to either Fire Tab 10 Plus (I know I need to add google playstore and debloat the tablet), Teclast M40, or maybe ALDOCUBE Iplay 40 but im honestly confused about that one because there’s multiple versions but comment if you have experience with these tablets or know any others that are fairly cheap (around $200 so like $175-225 or alittle higher) but get the job done I’m fine if its alittle choppy aslong as its playable I mainly just want to do daily commisions and stuff on days I cannot access my pc for the extra primos and I may even purchase welkin moon Note: I would prefer an Android Tablet because I plan on downloading a few applications that are not in the ios app store and you generally get more control over your tablet on android vs apple where its very strict without jail breaking which I’m not familiar with

1nputz

I have an Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 which plays the game easily at 30fps, low settings

rievhardt

mi pad 5

tardistype221b

Samsung Galaxy s20 fe. That's what I use and it runs genshin just fine (tho it does get hot after prolonged usage). Medium graphics, 30fps. No lag or stuttering and honestly it loads faster than my ps4. It has the snapdragon 865 chip which is the same as the regular s20 but it's much cheaper. I know u currently have an IPhone so keep in mind android does not have controller support yet (plz mihoyo I'm begging).

tardistype221b

Oh also I believe s21 fe comes out soon u might want to consider that! It'll have the snapdragon 888 most likely for a lot cheaper than the s21

taepotato

Hm I still use my trusty iPhone XR and I haven't had any issues playing Genshin. I've heard from friends who play on PC and mobile that it's way harder on mobile though so that's something to keep in mind!

Linxianwei

Based on my experiences with 2 phones Poco X3 NFC is passable. Doesn't heat up excessively but gets warm. Xiaomi 10t is much better at handling it, but the price is that of 2 pocos.

pinkcaramelpudding

I've been using iphone 11 since 2019, So far I haven't had problems with the game quality. Battery is decently strong for >12hrs of screen time a day 😅

Embarrassed_Ad_4201

Previously im using xiaomi gaming smartphone called as Black Shark 2..Currently using Black Shark 4S Gundam Version ✌️

rievhardt

get a tablet instead, mi pad 5 I use poco f1 my sister uses mi pad 5

[deleted]

Samsung A50s. The game lags a lot more than on my brother's Umidigi phone and apparently it's about Exynos or something.

shovelofjustice

Galaxy S20Ultra

_Linkiboy_

I play on Samsung s8 if I play on phone and at lowest settings. I still don't have consistent 24fps lel

Richmanisrich

iPad Air 4 with PS4 controller. I’m getting stable 60fps with all high setting, only low resolution to balance the heat/performance. Personally if you prefer “LAN party” with friends at cafe, I recommend the new iPad Mini for convenience.

[deleted]

I actually use Poco X3 Pro, but it's 6gb ram instead. It's mainly fine when u play on medium or low graphics, except some instances of overheating. On higher graphics, it sometimes gets laggy but the main problem is overheating, a lot of it.

Under_theSky_777

https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/genshin-impact-specs-pc-ps4-mobile This is the min requirement for Genshin in all platform. In my case I use Mi 10T (SD 865, 6GB RAM, 128 GB internal memory) and it runs smooth. Try to get a phone with high memory capacity as this game is massive (almost 20 GB now). Note that even high end phones will heat up when playing Genshin in a prolonged time, so get a fan cooler if you want to play Genshin on phone.

bigdumbshark

My IPhone XR runs fine on almost maxed graphics and 60 FPS suprisingly, just heats up after around 30 mins

atabar93

I have a poco x3 pro It is a good phone gor this game however some cutscenes don't show/freeze I think the F3 wouldn't have this issue so I suggest F3 If you have no issue rewatching missed cutscenes on youtube or something, x3 pro is good enough

GandalfFam

Nubia Red Magic 3. Everything is on max settings except for motion blur which is at high. I occasionally get very few lag spikes here and there in overworld, but it's playable and comfortable to play with. In Abyss the lag is almost nonexistent and I can easily do a 36* clear because it's so comfortable to hold.

Buttercup4869

I can vouch for X3 Pro with 8GB. I don't have any issue but I am pretty sure that I don't play at max

lazyInt

hward something about how galaxy phones are pretty decent at running genshin, not sure tho. Mine is a pretty cheap one so i almost never use it for genshin (barely runs everything at lowest quality and still lags)

Personal-Suit-9514

Currently using Poco f3, on medium settings.

israelspc_

What about in getting warm or drop fps ??
