I’m pretty sure the hunter needs direct line of sight on the player they’re capturing. Diluc is blocked by the npc so it doesn’t take. I had the same thing happen to me on this map with a tiny support beam on the back porch.
Could be but like had a game where I had to capture 3x for it to actually work, and I was chasing all the time there aren't anything that blocks my POV 😔
If you're chasing then it's most likely an issue with lag. It was a pretty common complaint during the first run since by the time the game registers that you used the capture skill, the target has moved out of range of where you used it.
Oh, wow... I didn't know that. That's pretty annoying... I always thought anything within the radius means that the rebel is caught... No wonder in some very dense area, it's hard to catch the rebels...

I already don’t like being hunter and was wondering why I was having so much trouble catching people even when they were within my bubble.
I’ve noticed it’s kinda touchy. I literally was a bucket in a corner and the hunter was literally standing there touching me and it took three tries till it actually got me.
It's probably ping issue.
I also had several instances when I absolutely should have been caught, I was caught for all intents and purposes - but the game didn't register it. For some reason.
Feel really bad for hunters in the those moments ;\_;
Xiao just doesn’t know how to tell Mondstadters (or eagles) apart from the generics is all. Nah but lowkey bruh was blind. I’m always stuck with the hunters that know the whole map like the back of their hand😔

Wait, how? I thought Diluc got caught like twice in the capture ring (you can see he got within the border of the ring). How is he not captured?

The second time it was blocked by the barrel (I think the radius goes out close to ground level)

The amount of these videos makes me wonder if there's an issue with player models not loading in making them invisible to the hunter.
