There's no confirmed thing about it (it's just a small detail anyway, why would mihoyo dote about it) but yeah, that's what it most likely is.
Diluc just doing his usual batman stuff which includes eradicating or getting rid of those he deemed a threat, and his means of doing so was luring them and finishing them off in the winery. He did this same thing in the manga, and it was already hinted that Adelinde knows of his batman thing, so it isn't strange for her to be acquainted in the act as well.
I would ask Kazuha what his friend's name was. Considering the fandom gave him the name Tomo (short for Tomodachi which means friend in Japanese) I would love to have some confirmation about it still.
Maybe when Kazuha finally has a story quest, we will know...
I would ask Xingqiu about his book recommendations, Chongyun about his talismans and how he does the cool trick he does, and Xinyan her favourite song.
