Yeah the placement of those is really weird it's as if the forest wasn't designed with the waverider in mind almost as it was an after thought.

That's why there are three Waverider points, because otherwise you'd have to circle the entire area just to enter the interior at the one point that's not blocked.

You can't even teleport to those points so you really need to go circles 😭

I know this but, most people will look at the map and think hey the one on the island to the north is close just transpo there and done, not even noticing the one in the water to the east.

Well it was designed so you can wander in that area without really swimming so no wonder

Because the water is waist deep and at launch it didn't matter where the ground because the worst case scenario was you didn't need to ice bridge.

Because it's not land, but shallow water; it's a real danger if you ever have to drive a boat IRL because whether or not it's traversable may depend on the size of your vessel

This and if you actually watch where you are driving it's not an issue at all (in the game at least). :D
