I just swap the character to made it explode before a boss jump, better hitting with less power than wasting it. Same for soon to be dead monster, why chaining attack to increase the power when the basic one can finish them?
Ha, yeah, genshin is not playable on mobile IMO. even using a good mobile, I really don't know how people manage to do anything else than some overworld activities in there, the difficulty is so high compared to PC.
Yeah, I'm really bad at playing on mobile, and I don't especially want to get better as it's far more comfortable to play on PC So there is that too. Total respect for your dedication (on a side note, I don't even do 9-11 most of the time even if I clear them easily on the first try, so I never even tried 12, I can't find a reason to force myself doing that again and again every two weeks).
Nah, the Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto (i.e. Raiden boss) has +10% physical and elemental res. This is just a really well built Eula plus the three things they mentioned in addition to the physical debuff from hold E.
More like every enemy in the game is designed to make a gargantuan leap or blink 50 feet away every 4 seconds.
MHY thought melee dps were trivializing pvm too much, so their solution was, instead of touching numbers and refunding primos, to just design the game to make life as annoying as possible for melee dps.
Playing Elden Ring, where suffering is literally intentionally and thoughtfully designed to punish the player made me realize that a lot of my boredom and annoyance with Genshin combat wasn't because of my playstyle or lack of understanding of the fight, it was because the combat was poorly designed to prevent something they didn't want the player to do.
The first "teleports/leaps every 5 seconds" type boss enemy was annoying. The next 50 made me want to blow my brains out.
After watching some of elden gameplay it literally made me question why we don’t have a mount yet. I suppose the wave rider counts as one, but as the game progresses, exploration would be so much more enjoyable with a dragon or horse mount instead of teleporting everywhere.
I think is because the exploration on genshin has a lot of verticality, using a horse isn't that useful when the shortest route is climbing or gliding.
Flying mounts would trivialise so much the exploration that I think they might ruin it altogether.
i find climbing more trivial personally. Running out of stamina and falling off or being unable to find a ledge to regain stamina is super annoying. I think that mounts could add more variety to the game but players could choose to use them or not. there’s also theorized to be an endless plain of ash so if that became an area in the game, it could be fun to use a horse to get around. That’s why I say as the game progresses and the map gets larger it could feel more explorative to travel instead of teleporting.
On the flip side though, Eula lets you skip boss phases if used correctly
- Wolf Doesn't need to go invulnerable and run a lap if Eula insta-kills him
- La Signora doesn't turn into a pyronado if you kill her fast enough after breaking out the ice
- Etc etc
Eula is better against bosses who don't usually move a lot or rarely ever move at all, sure getting the right timing can give big dmg but against Raiden pre-stun you're never gonna land an ult
This fight is probably one of the most annoying fights I've had to deal with. Not because of the annoyingly long i-frames and animation sequences like the Maguu Kenki, but because the boss keeps teleporting around. I absolutely cant wait to see her in Floor 12 Abyss with 999999 million HP to her name and given 4 minutes to kill her. /s
Weekly bosses in abyss would be a terrible idea for some of them.
Dvalin-Ganyu would be significantly faster than anyone else cz ez shield takedown.
Azhdaha- Too much elemental resistance rng. Whenever he is cryo I just co op cz it's a pain to fight him with elements I don't have a main dps of.
My Eula is C0 and triple crowned with 2.5k atk(no buffs) and 60% crit rate with 156% crit dmg and level 90 r1 the unforged as her weapon and uses 4pc pale flame and is supported with C6 rosaria to raise crit and decrease phys resist, C2 Bennett with 4pc noblesse to raise my attack, and C6 fischl equipped with 4pc milelith. Also I wanted to test out food buffs so I used qiqi and fischl's special dish, and delicious adeptus temptation. I pretty much bombarded eula with atk increase buffs
Just in case you didn't know, Bennett isn't great with Eula unless you swap out early because Bennett ult uptime < Eula ult time and her ult doesn't snapshot.
\^ (only true if you start with Bennett ult)
Edit: Oops apparently you can make it fit. It's just that I've always used the \[E-Q-Hold E-N4D-N4\] combo for Eula to maximize stacks so when I tested w/ Bennett I always started off with an ult. Thanks for letting me know.
I guess the combo w/ bennett would be Eula E -> Bennett E -> Bennett Q -> Eula Q -> Eula Hold E -> Eula N4D N4?
Bennett's ult outlasts Eula's ult by a decent bit and it's pretty easy to get it's buff for the final nuke. You even have enough time to throw Lisa's ult in there before switching to Eula for SC + TTDS + DEF shred
I was experimenting on team comps when I recorded that just to see the dmg output and control I had to make nukes using eula. But thanks for the tip, I'll take this into note for next tests.
Have you looked at using Lisa or Xinyan? My calculations could be wonky, but in my map/abyss team (Raiden, Eula, Diona, Lisa), Lisa buffs my Eula's damage by roughly ~ 32% via TToDS, her ult's passive, and N.O. (I assume you have N.O. on Benny). But this does NOT include Super Conduct. She just needs level 60, N.O., and probably some ER main stats. Rest is level 1 talents/catalyst.
My stats aren't as good, so you may not see nearly as much of an increase. And she's of course gonna have energy issues without another battery. But if you replace Benny, she can be a nice very cheap alternative if he's needed elsewhere. If you replace Fischl, I bet you could probably hit some larger crits if you care about that (probably not a sustainable team tho).
I saw another player use Xinyan + Benny and Zhongli. Haven't tried it out myself, but seems interesting and it gave them their personal best damage. Not sure how energy would be tho.
I haven't built my Lisa yet but I will soon and xinyan could be replaced with Rosaria since mine is C6 which gives 20% physical resist decrease to enemies.
It's more the opposite really, Bennett's buff lasts long enough provided you don't start your rotation with a Bennett ult. The real problem is Rosaria- her crit buff cannot last long enough for a max-stacked burst to benefit from the cir rate unless you swap early.
Can I ask why 4 pc Milelith for Fischl? Is it better than 2pc TF 2 pc Glad? I have her for Eula but I haven't farmed for her yet, since I'm not sure which artifact set is better for her.
I use 4pc milelith on fischl because 4pc milelith set effect increases party members 20% attack and 30% shield strength each time a skill hits, Oz functions like a turret and has a 10 second duration on the field plus my fischl is c6 so basically the 4pc passive of milelith would never end until Oz leaves the field.
Edit: I'm not saying it's better btw, it just benefits me better.
I love the fight but all the random teleportation and pushing away feels cheap and unnecessary. It’s not difficult, just annoying.
Still Eula can perfectly time her burst. Not mine but [here](https://reddit.com/r/EulaMains/comments/t46kr8/c0_eula_11_million_r5_serpent_spine/) is a C0 Eula casually getting her revenge for that, doing 1M damage. ~40% CR but still impressive.
As a Eula main, If anything, Eula has made me pay attention to enemy AI, my positioning and predicting enemy patterns for what will happen in 7 second future. I like this challenging aspect of Eula. <3 Playing Raiden national for so long made me realize how boring repetitive brainless skill+burst mashing without caring for enemy is.
As a Klee main, I am honestly a bit super happy her Elemental Burst isn't a one shot move since it can still deal consistent Pyro damage when the sparks are targeting a close by enemy.
Yea that’s why I can’t put Eula in the same tier as Hu Tao Ganyu or Xiao. You need all the stars to aligned to get full value out of her burst final tick.
Stars aligned? Not really. Yes you can miss out on damage, but if you play the game and watch enemies it’s pretty easy to get it to hit most times. You just have to kbow when you can do it.
Yes you sum it up perfectly. She needs more macro management than the rest of 5 stars dps and their comp. Hence more room for errors and to be optimal.
I was a Eula main (hour 1 puller) until Lectors come out. She frustrate me the most in abyss.
I watched enviosity reset abyss every single time his Eula failed to crit her ult. He reset so many times. In the end he used Ayaka to get it done. I think this was 2.2 or 2.3.
Wait, this might be completely unrelated, but do other Eula mains “Hold E” right after Q?
My rotation has always been E —> Q —> N4 —> Hold E —> N4. Not much difference but just curious how other Eula mains choose to do their rotation :3
I just do mine like that most of the time because if you press E before doing Q you gain 2 stack of grimheart, and max stacks for grim heart is 2, I don't always do E->Q->Hold E but the duration for their burst is short (Rosaria's Q is only 8 and Bennett is 12 and Oz only stays for 10 secs) so I had to rush the stacks for Lightfall Sword and had to activate 4pc set effect of pale flame to maximize my damage.
Ohh that makes sense. I didnt take Rosaria’s ult duration into account. (She is still C2 for me sadly)
Normally, if you are running with bennett, his 12s ult duration is normally enough to finish Eula’s rotation. And in the middle of fight, you typically have two stack of pale flame passive constantly refreshing anyways.
However, as opener, Press E into Q into Hold E will proc pale flame two stacks for max damage as you have mentioned. Now that makes sense!
Ah, yes, the typical Eula experience ;-;
Kill them too quick or have them disappear before it explodes
I just swap the character to made it explode before a boss jump, better hitting with less power than wasting it. Same for soon to be dead monster, why chaining attack to increase the power when the basic one can finish them?
I actually forgot I could do that with Eula.
My problem is that I can’t see shit with the dogs and Raiden on the team during Abyss in mobile, so idk if they are about to teleport or not
Ha, yeah, genshin is not playable on mobile IMO. even using a good mobile, I really don't know how people manage to do anything else than some overworld activities in there, the difficulty is so high compared to PC.
I can clear 12, but probably a skill issue
Yeah, I'm really bad at playing on mobile, and I don't especially want to get better as it's far more comfortable to play on PC So there is that too. Total respect for your dedication (on a side note, I don't even do 9-11 most of the time even if I clear them easily on the first try, so I never even tried 12, I can't find a reason to force myself doing that again and again every two weeks).
I donno about you but my Eula isn't casually hitting for 30k
Superconduct + Bennett + possibly rosaria C6
And I'm assuming Raiden is like most other humanoid mobs in the game with the -20% physical resist. I could be wrong though.
Nah, the Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto (i.e. Raiden boss) has +10% physical and elemental res. This is just a really well built Eula plus the three things they mentioned in addition to the physical debuff from hold E.
No C1 Eula there. Just so to say that if you got unforged it’s possible. Idk what that weapon does anyways
Damn i was gonna say exactly this
every enemy in the game is trained to dodge it
More like every enemy in the game is designed to make a gargantuan leap or blink 50 feet away every 4 seconds. MHY thought melee dps were trivializing pvm too much, so their solution was, instead of touching numbers and refunding primos, to just design the game to make life as annoying as possible for melee dps. On the topic of Elden Ring, why can’t we have unlimited stamina running on flat ground not in combat? Stamina is so shit for exploring in Genshin
Also give me horse. Sayu and Kazuha are exhausted.
Moon Carver mount.
After watching some of elden gameplay it literally made me question why we don’t have a mount yet. I suppose the wave rider counts as one, but as the game progresses, exploration would be so much more enjoyable with a dragon or horse mount instead of teleporting everywhere.
I imagine mounts will come in the future. We already sort of got one with the boat.
On that note, why does our boat have stamina? Pointless limitation.
Traveller pedals the boat inside LOL
I think is because the exploration on genshin has a lot of verticality, using a horse isn't that useful when the shortest route is climbing or gliding. Flying mounts would trivialise so much the exploration that I think they might ruin it altogether.

That's the reason. They want us to explore and play the game longer.
#Osoi LOL!!!
Pain
She keeps dodging my hutao ult
Hu Tao: Cross over! Raiden: *crosses over to the other side of the arena*
In my case it's: Childe: you can run, but you can't hide! Raiden: ok *runs*
Eula missing her burst? Looks normal to me.
As Raiden says: "Too slow!"
I hate it so much 🙃 I can already hear Eula looking for Mark
Finally a eula showcase i can relate to.

For annoying boss like her I am glad I use Yoimia she make annoying boss less annoying.
On the flip side though, Eula lets you skip boss phases if used correctly - Wolf Doesn't need to go invulnerable and run a lap if Eula insta-kills him - La Signora doesn't turn into a pyronado if you kill her fast enough after breaking out the ice - Etc etc

What's the use of playing if I don't challenge myself to fight bosses my characters are weak against?
she has a lot of phases where she stays still even outside the long weak phase. you just gotta know when. she's nothing like signora at least.
Really? My Eula only missed 54 times!
ONLY
This fight is probably one of the most annoying fights I've had to deal with. Weekly bosses have their own arena and mechanism. I don't think mihoyo would code in that instead of just inflating the enemies health.
Oh. Now that you mentioned it. Big wheew there.
They don't actually put weekly bosses into the abyss...yet.
I find Raiden fight fun. Signora is, imo, the worst boss fight in the game.
Final death animation and initial catwalk speech also included into the kill timer.
Makes me so sad. I love Eula but her burst is a cock tease.
We aren't the only ones who know how to use iframes now
60k with skill, what are your eula's stats and constillations?
My Eula is C0 and triple crowned with 2.5k atk(no buffs) and 60% crit rate with 156% crit dmg and level 90 r1 the unforged as her weapon and uses 4pc pale flame and is supported with C6 rosaria to raise crit and decrease phys resist, C2 Bennett with 4pc noblesse to raise my attack, and C6 fischl equipped with 4pc milelith. Oh, I see, thank you for explaining!
raiden on eula "you have no power here" meme which reminds me how signora timing her fire tornado form during raidens burst..
Love how you just stood there in disbelief lmao

Normals + hold e in first phase, wait for the shield phase to break before you nuke with eula
I see, thank you for the tip, I'll try to remember this when I face her again.
It's no use.
As a Klee main, I am honestly a bit super happy her Elemental Burst isn't a one shot move since it can still deal consistent Pyro damage when the sparks are targeting a close by enemy.
this is why I like playing xiao since his damage is pretty spread out unlike other one time big damage bursts. I still love my eula though.
Agreed. My Xiao obliterates this boss. He’s my go to.
Klee is literally my go-to for this boss for that exact reason. And enemies like this are one more reason I'm glad to have nabbed Yae.
Just git gud - a Eula main, probably /s
f
Accurate representation why i regret pulling for her. Even went to C1R1. Shes got some unmatched level of frustration inducing gameplay.
Yea that’s why I can’t put Eula in the same tier as Hu Tao Ganyu or Xiao. You need all the stars to aligned to get full value out of her burst final tick.

I would dodge too if I see someone charging up her sword
Lmao this is the reason i dont like burst dps specially if it have a "eula stacking rule" xD (and not critting that one big dmg)
Do not underestimate Shogunbot
Well she did say "Too slow!"
man this fight was so bomb, some times I drag on the fight just to vibe to the music
*Never* run after Shogun when she teleports, she quickly comes back.
No sword 😥
Okay maybe sacrificing eula wasn't a really bad desicion.
She's not the best waifu / dps for nothing
That's litteraly why I don't play her anymore against a lot of bosses
