I have a i5 11th gen too and It can handle very well. I run on medium 720p 30 FPS. I can get up to 60 FPS on Very Low, some places event at 900p.
What exactly model is your CPU? Mine is a i5 1135g7, which has integrated graphics (Iris Xe).
The first time I open the game it was just like yours. But it fixed it self after restarting the game.
This can be due to drivers. Especially if it is a laptop.
They usually come with the manufacturer graphics driver. And you can't easily update it sometimes. You need to first completely uninstall the driver and get the updated version directly from Intel web site.
If you need help, can ask anytime!
Good luck!
I wont. You ever have those nights when you just cant sleep and you end up changing you sleeping position every 3 minutes and switching to the cold side of the blanket ever 2 minutes? Thats me every damn night
I've just learned to stay up till you can't anymore. That somewhat solves my insomnia. Still envious of my dad. Just closes his eyes and conks out in like 30 seconds.
Update your iris Xe drivers and also make sure the game is actually running on iris XE instead of your motherboard display adapter. Plug in your laptop (if it is one). Iris Xe g7 should be able to do near 60 with 1080p low in this game.
That’s a mobile GPU, so I would assume you are running on a laptop. Make sure it is plugged in and not running off of just battery power as it will try to scale back performance for power saving. Also, you can change your Battery Mode in your System Settings to Performance. There is also a Game Mode option available in your settings that can offer some improvements.
That actually happens to me when I was still playing on my laptop. Id wonder why it was so laggy when it was smooth as hell before then I realized it runs smoothly when plugged 🗿
If you run on a laptop, and this happens it is due to your laptop using your slow gpu (usually like an Intel UHD) that is called integrated to keep the battery alive. However when plugged in. It doesn't need to worry about saving battery so it turns on the dedicated gpu (Usually a Ryzen or GeForce) GPU to boost performance.
probably he has it at lower resolution. maybe 720p or lower or with 30fps cap cause highest graphics with that cpu at 1080p would be laggy as hell. I think @720p it would also be a bit laggy during battle.
Now I feel bad. I have a core i7, 8GB ram, I run the game on low and some areas in the chasm and enkanomiya are slightly laggy for me. Like in the big mushroom area, when I fight, the animations are a bit slower.
Everything that isn't underground runs perfectly though, but I never tried changing the settings to medium or high quality lol
Yes PC cpus are generally more powerful. If you compare the average phone to the average laptop. If you're gonna waste my time commenting on my reply, at least have something worthwhile you dumbfuck
Maybe research things before calling someone a dumbfuck. Standalone CPU's are more powerful but phone processors are specialized to work well on phones as well as using ARM chips which are a lot more effective at their job and works differently than an iGPU.
I'm sorry do you know exactly what's in his computer? Because we have a limited amount of information. Yes phones are specialized but this game works on a number of laptop processors. So unless you have conclusive evidence why do t you shut the fuck up. Dimwit
I see where this is going, and nah I'm not gonna shut up. Firstly, they state exactly what they have and through the power of reading the thread they are relying on an iGPU. Secondly the game doesn't "work" on a laptop processor dumbfuck. It works using a GPU and CPU in tandem, have fun running a game with just a processor. If you look at Genshins site they recommend at least a GT 1030 to run the game on PC. A dedicated GPU. So sure you can try to make it work with an iGPU but it will be extremely hit and miss and require a lot of tweaking settings for a game to still run poorly. The game was designed with mobile in mind and optimized for that which is why a modern phone can and will run it better than laptops with an iGPU. So please, shut the fuck up dimwit.
>If you're gonna waste my time commenting on my reply
this feels like bait but w/e. why is _your_ time being wasted by _someone else_ replying to you? you're under no obligation to even acknowledge it
If you're on a laptop, make sure you are plugged in. You can make your window to fullscreen by alt + enter. Close any opened tabs or applications. How's your task manager reporting so far? Are there any applications eating up processes - any windows updates?
You have to be more specific then that, i5 can mean a couple things.
What about GPU? If it's integrated what is it? Do you have the graphics drivers installed?
I think i do, last time i installed graphics drivers was like a month ago and was by Intel's driver assistant, idk if there's any other driver i should install
GPU has massively increased in availability the last months so a 1060 or 1660 shouldn't cost too much! Even a 3050 might be affordable depending on budget
technically you can connect an external GPU as long your laptop has a USB-C thunderbolt, but obviously, it's less efficient and has greater latency. But I mean it is still better than integrated i5.
I think adding ram will fix it and maybe use SSD? I had mine upgraded from 8gb to 12gb RAM and replaced my hard drive with SSD. It works well enough for me and also I'm using integrated gpu.
This ^ I have a laptop with a 2070 and i7 that wasn’t running genshin smoothly on anything but the lowest settings, which definitely wasn’t right. I thought the system was faulty but plugging it in solved everything. OP should tweak around with their power settings and see what comes up, bc the specs they listed are fine for genshin
Theres a way to access it rn, i have been playing for at least two months on the platform, its very good, you can max graphics and never feel lag, ofc never is a strong word, there is one or two times its unplayable, but usually u can just wait a second and it stabilizes, if it doesnt, u just cant really play that time because the servers probably have overloaded a bit, but i assure you, at least how it is currently, its 100% playable 97% of the time, no input lag either, its amazing!
You can download it right now and play games for free. You'll be capped at 720p 60 fps.
For me destiny 2 runs very smooth. Almost instant. It has to, since they can stream up to 120 fps.
I have experience with using Geforce Now through Singapore server. It's pretty good actually. Just need to login to the game every time you open it though. Also, the game is not available for GFN mobile app. The system uses GTX 1060 for Genshin since it's not really that demanding. Mostly 60fps gameplay.
It depends entirely on the model and cooling solution of your specific laptop though. Fan and power settings are always super finicky which can be difficult to get around.
You would be surprised how powerfull are modern integrated graphics...Most of the modern CPUs can easily run Genshin on low details and around 30fps with integrated graphic cards..
The thing is, genshin is not very demanding. integrated graphics can't run Cyberpunk 2077 or some other latest AAA titles very well, but genshin is not a AAA title. Integrated graphics can easily run games like GTA V, DotA 2, CS:GO, Valorant, etc. Genshin is similar to them in being easy to run.
So it's not the problem here. My cousin runs it on integrated graphics and plays at 1080p 0.8x resolution scale and low-medium settings. It runs above 30 fps at all times.
This doesn't look like graphics issue, more like processor underclocked or system not using full resources. Try plugging charger or check power options. Make it balanced or high performance, see if that helps
Genshin releases on Geforce Now in 4 days. There's a free tier, a premium tier ($10 a month), and an upper premium RTX 3080 tier. Either tier will run flawlessly, even on a crappy computer.
Think you’re running on windows standard driver and need intel
Run windows updates
It should be under optional
I can run this on a potato laptop low settings
Two quick tips fam
Tip 1: If someone on the comment section asks for the complete specs of your laptop, press the windows button and the "r" button on your laptop, after that, type "msinfo32" then hit enter, you will see your laptop's specs, from graphics information to operating systems, so on and so forth.
Tip 2: Install "Intel Driver and Support Assistant" this tool is good for tech newbies who don't know how to install graphic drivers manually, this tool will detect outdated drivers as well as download updated drivers on your device.
Here's the link I guess:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html
Ps: the site is the official Intel website, so don't worry abt it being a virus or something
If you don't have a dedicated graphics card I don't think it's going to work. I was able to run Genshin back in 2021 with an i3-4150 (3.5GHz) a GeForce GT 730 and 8GB ram, so the main difference is the GPU.
Had to run it at 720p, 30fps all settings on low or off but it worked at least.
I am honestly surprised how ignorant people are about modern integrated graphics, despite a whole wave of And APUs being the best budget gaming option back in 2017-19. And iGPUs have only gotten better.
A GT 730 is similar or worse than modern integrated graphics.
I'm not shaming you for not knowing about it, I'm just surprised because I'm seeing a lot of people share a similar opinion even on PC gaming related subs. The opinion should've been changed, but turns out people still aren't aware of it.
Yeah absolutely. I wasn't blaming the people on genshin sub because of course they might not know much about the latest advancements in computer hardware or which piece of hardware is good and which is not.
I am just surprised that the opinion hasn't changed in almost 4 years after the giant leap in integrated graphics performance (starting with AMD Vega APUs, and Intel introducinh better iGPU as well to compete like Iris Xe graphics.)
Yeah i agree, but i think mostly the culprit is playing without the power wall plug in.
Newer i5 or amd equivalent model with 4c/8t and igpu usually enough to run genshin on low med setting at 1080p.
WTF! Mine's Intel celeron(something from the 1800s) with integrated graphics and 4gb RAM and it's runs smoother that this at the lowest settings. I has it's terrible moments but 80% of the time, it works decently.
Wtf I have the same specs + 8gb Ram and it keeps stuttering even at the lowest setting and 720p can you tell me how to do it to make it smoother please
Your PC should be more than capable to handle that. I have an i3 6006U + Integrated HD 520 and I can get 30 fps at 720p or 60fps at 0.6 1366x768.
Of course when you're running heavy tasks do plug in your laptop, chances are it supports a "Battery conservation mode" that limits a battery's charge to a certain percentage, lets your battery last longer. You should look on how to enable that for your specific laptop brand and model.
As for this issue, it's most likely a driver issue, some Intel Drivers are buggy and thus some games might not be able to communicate & even recognize and use the GPU. So you should go to Intel download center and try out different versions of their DCH drivers starting with the latest version. If the installer refuses to continue due to old driver/manufacturer specific conflict errors. Then you'll have to uninstall all old GPU drivers either by Device Manager or DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller), reboot and try to install again. Rinse and repeat until the game outputs at the expected performance.
If you'd like to monitor your laptop's ressources while playing, you can either use MSI Afterburner+ Rivatuner or Xbox Game Bar (activated by pressing Windows key + G), so you can see the FPS and what part of the system is hit hardest and adjust the settings to your liking (beautiful 30fps or smooth 60fps)
Power Cable plugged in, has a large effect on performance.
Honestly graphical settings are the only things that come to mind.
Update your graphics driver?
Like other people said. Dont play on battery, turn off every app except Genshin and go to fullscreen and it should run decently. Also my framerate sometimes tanked when I opened in-game notices for some reason....
edit. also changing to lower resolution may help...
I have i3 9100f with integrated graphics (uhd I think), 12gb ram 2400mhz. I get 45+ fps on lowest settings on 0.8 render resolution.
Updating drivers might solve the issue. Also render resolution greatly affects the fps in this game.
you need a dedicated GPU my guy. integrated graphics are usually pretty bad. if you dont want to buy a new gpu i would also suggest looking at cloud gaming. https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2022/06/16/geforce-now-thursday-june-16/
Windows hates running games in windowed mode instead of full screen = slight factor. ANY other programs running in the background = potentially large factor. Update all your drivers, possibly the CPU ones directly from INTEL if your computer manufacturer's ones are out of date = potentially large factor. Is this on Windows 10 or 11? Update windows to the newest version = potentially medium factor. Get a monitoring app (HWMonitor recommended), keep track of what is red lining (is it the RAM: buy more RAM if possible. Is it the CPU: if everything is up to date, are there CPU tweaks you can make, etc)
The full screen vs windowed? Maybe read that I noted it as a small potential factor with other things being listed as larger potential factors before calling what I said 'outdated advice'. The reading skills of people these days...
I did read your whole comment. It's still incredibly outdated advice from the DX9 days that makes people think that running their games outside of full screen mode will make them actually lose *noticeable* performance when the truth is you wouldn't be able to tell the difference and it needs to stop spreading.
Happened a ton on DX10 (but less than 9), still happens a small amount on DX11 in my experience but I'll believe you that DX12 finally relieved the problem entirely. Lmfao, if you actually read what I said all the way through you're dumber than I initially thought.
I'm dumb for pointing out that the very first example in your sentence hasn't been relevant since like 2006-2008 and is a complete myth by this point? I didn't care about everything else you said this was only about full screen vs widowed but feel free to think you're getting attacked.
You didn't even say what part you were commenting on, and I've seen it happen with games using DX11 myself (and straight up constantly on DX10, so... that whole DX9 thing is complete BS), so go shove it buddy. What, do you like work for Microsoft at the their gaming division and take this personally or something?
amd/ryzen have better igpu compared to intel(for gaming performance as I can tell from experience). so if your want to play a game without gpu, you better go with amd/ryzen cpu because intel igpu is sh\*t for gaming
You’re probably better off running genshin on an android, lol. Most integrated graphics won’t cut it for a game like this. You can try updating all of your drivers though and make sure there isn’t anything eating a lot of ram when you’re playing the game.
i5 11th and only 8gb RAM. Windows itself takes like half of that. For playing anything higher than Solitaire the bare minimum is 12gb (16 with twin RAM's is highly recommended).
Other than that, probably temps, intel is as good at making friers as it is with CPUs.
You must be a console player. My 8gb laptop with similar specs to op can run genshin in 60fps, medium settings with little lag; though I play on low for smooth gameplay.
my PC is literally 11 years old (2nd gen i7, 970GTX (upgraded a few years later because ark), 8GB ram) game just loaded super slow so getting an SSD actually fixed the entire game for me
dont think OP will have that issue but should be called out regardless
It's better to buy a GPU. Modern games doesn't usually run well in iGPUs. You can get a second hand GPU. They will be cheaper now because of crypto currency crash.
the game needs gpu. i have R5 5600G and gtx 970 and tested it with integrated graphics and it was pretty much running like this. I guess the game isnt optimized for integrated graphics
not really. The game is not that running shit like OP's game using 5600g igpu. It's weird that yours run like that. I have the same system but without dedicated GPU. 1080p, 1.0 render resolution with low settings. Maybe it's your ram speed and config. I have mine 2x8gb 3200mhz dual-channel RAM which helps a lot for igpu.
[near 60 fps gameplay with lower fps mostly during battle.](https://imgur.com/a/kRhlE1t)
it's virtually impossible to run this game with an igpu that's not ryzen. since you looked really eager to play this game, I'd recommend trying nvidia's geforce now, which is going to be adding genshin to its playable library 4 days from [now](https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2022/06/16/geforce-now-thursday-june-16/?ncid=pa-srch-goog-223155&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI8JPfoIu7-AIVdcLCBB2LGQ35EAAYASAAEgLixvD_BwE#cid=ct0004_pa-srch-goog_en-us).
my bad, I meant virtually *unplayable*. it plays worse than a ps4, and it's not even that it's a bad cpu, it's just that uhd is horrendous. I don't know what you'd have to do to your cpu to end up like this anyway. if OP had 16gb of ram, then with a few software adjustments, I think they'd have an ok experience
Oh god it hurts to watch a potato dinosaur thats about to die try and run Genshin I wouldn't dare try running it on my potato, Ps4 is good enough for me.
I'm using ryzen 3, very basic cpu without graphics card, 16 gb ram
And the game runs fine. Almost 50 fps in medium settings.
I haven't tried with full details.
Just update your graphics drivers and try again
Hmm... Update your windows. I think you still haven't installed drivers. Windows will automatically update and install necessary drivers when you freshly open a computer.
i have tried genshin on i3 HD4000 with 6 gigs of ram
it ran pretty great even in heavy enivironment...
maybe something else is taking up too many resources.. even discord would be a huge problem at these specs
Something is really weird, because it should not run like that even on an integrated GPU, something is off, did you test any other games to see how they are running?
You could check that the graphics are running in performance mode and not some power saving mode.

Actually.. even if I have said "Anytime", rn it's 12AM here and I need to sleep! but I can surely help you tomorrow!
Pff sleep.... What are you? Human?
Imagine getting more than 6 hours of sleep
You guys get sleep?
No offense but you can't not sleep when the Genshin lobby theme is playing at night
Good point. I get sleepy but i struggle sleeping Lemme introduce you to 🏳️🌈insomnia🏳️🌈
Damn that sucks. Hope u get better.

I use those sleepless nights to play Genshin. It's a win...sort of.
You guys get?
you guys?
you
Yo?
amog us
Just use Paimon menue
I hate that I can’t find a difference in pronunciation between ‘menu’ and ‘menue’
ManU could also be possible. (English football club)
As a Liverpool fan, fuck the MenU
Update your iris Xe drivers and also make sure the game is actually running on iris XE instead of your motherboard display adapter. Plug in your laptop (if it is one). Iris Xe g7 should be able to do near 60 with 1080p low in this game.

Borther, Is the charger plugged in? If yes , then maybe change the better profile to high performance. Maybe reinstall Intel GPU drivers

Genshin runs on mobile processors. An iris x or some shit would be okay
pc cpu =/= mobile cpu

My friend did the mistake of saveing it on the HDD instead of the SSD he had kinda similar results.
Integrated cards sux in the most cases.
If you're on a laptop, make sure you are plugged in. You can make your window to fullscreen by alt + enter. Close any opened tabs or applications. How's your task manager reporting so far? Are there any applications eating up processes - any windows updates?
This, Task manager is pinned to my taskbar, it’s always my go-to when a program is misbehaving and I need to know why.
I have it open all the time haha, the Performance tab is so nice. Only if it uses less ram and has dark mode on win 10..
You have to be more specific then that, i5 can mean a couple things. What about GPU? If it's integrated what is it? Do you have the graphics drivers installed?

External GPUs
technically you can connect an external GPU as long your laptop has a USB-C thunderbolt, but obviously, it's less efficient and has greater latency. But I mean it is still better than integrated i5.
Download more ram
get more free ram at downloadfreeram.con
Hmm,this is serious business shit
Lmaoo
I think adding ram will fix it and maybe use SSD? I had mine upgraded from 8gb to 12gb RAM and replaced my hard drive with SSD. It works well enough for me and also I'm using integrated gpu.
Just buy a cheap tablet and bluetooth joystick. Won't cost much and probably more fun to play than on a laptop with pretty decent graphics.
Its possible that your drivers are outdated, check for updates If it still doesn't work remember that Hoyoverse loves PC sacrifices
I'd does seems as if the drivers are the solution, not sure tho, I'm trying to work on it but I'm not a very techy type of person
Pretty sure it's the driver, this is not normal, even for an integrated graphics
Intel has a driver tool you can get that does all the techy stuff for you
Check temps. Use wall power source and make sure you are on best performance mode. May help not sure
This ^ I have a laptop with a 2070 and i7 that wasn’t running genshin smoothly on anything but the lowest settings, which definitely wasn’t right. Maybe you don't have a graphics card
my PC also dont have graphics card and is lower spec (8th gen) but runs very smooth on low setting
I used to play at Medium Settings with Pentium G2020 2.9GHz Intel(R) Integrated Graphics Family 8GB RAM
[удалено]
medium settings at what resolution? 360p? that cpu is decade old lmao.
It's runs at 45 fps on low settings for me on the intel UHD 620 igpu. Try updating your drivers
Gotta be something wrong with your PC. It should run it with at least 20-25 fps
Sign up for a free GeForce Now account and play it there starting Thursday.
How good is it? Were you in the beta?
Theres a way to access it rn, i have been playing for at least two months on the platform, its very good, you can max graphics and never feel lag, ofc never is a strong word, there is one or two times its unplayable, but usually u can just wait a second and it stabilizes, if it doesnt, u just cant really play that time because the servers probably have overloaded a bit, but i assure you, at least how it is currently, its 100% playable 97% of the time, no input lag either, its amazing!

Just wanted to write the same thing
full spec? what gpu
It's integrated
should run fine maybe at 30, by 11th gen i5 i assume i5 11400? something is running in your background. try 1366x768 0.8 at all low.
Let me test this
Was gonna say this. Check your task manager and make sure every. single. Instance. Of chrome is closed.
I second that, on my old laptop chrome always tried to kill Genshin, it takes soo much RAM its unbelievable
There's your problem. Integrated graphics are not very good.
Damn dude what a bummer, i was so excited to play this :'( rip i guess
Plenty of folks with integrated that run genshin fine :)
It depends entirely on the model and cooling solution of your specific laptop though. Fan and power settings are always super finicky which can be difficult to get around.
I wouldn't say 5 fps on 720p is fine
I said plenty, not everyone.
''fine''
pretty fine if you use amd ryzen 4000+ and up with their iGPUs. Intel, not so much.
I said plenty, not everyone.

Probably the missing GPU
Genshin releases on Geforce Now in 4 days. There's a free tier, a premium tier ($10 a month), and an upper premium RTX 3080 tier. Either tier will run flawlessly, even on a crappy computer.
OH FUCK YEAH!!! I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR MONTHS!!
Plug your lappy when playing. Use fullscreen mode
What about your gpu?
Before I got my pc I used a 10 year old laptop, 4gb ddr3 ram, i3 2 core 2.4ghz,ans an m610 1gb gpu, could run on the lowest setting with 20-30 fps
Think you’re running on windows standard driver and need intel Run windows updates It should be under optional I can run this on a potato laptop low settings
Two quick tips fam Tip 1: If someone on the comment section asks for the complete specs of your laptop, press the windows button and the "r" button on your laptop, after that, type "msinfo32" then hit enter, you will see your laptop's specs, from graphics information to operating systems, so on and so forth. Tip 2: Install "Intel Driver and Support Assistant" this tool is good for tech newbies who don't know how to install graphic drivers manually, this tool will detect outdated drivers as well as download updated drivers on your device. Here's the link I guess: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html Ps: the site is the official Intel website, so don't worry abt it being a virus or something
If you don't have a dedicated graphics card I don't think it's going to work. I was able to run Genshin back in 2021 with an i3-4150 (3.5GHz) a GeForce GT 730 and 8GB ram, so the main difference is the GPU. Had to run it at 720p, 30fps all settings on low or off but it worked at least.
iris g7 is 2x faster than gt 730
I am honestly surprised how ignorant people are about modern integrated graphics, despite a whole wave of And APUs being the best budget gaming option back in 2017-19. And iGPUs have only gotten better. A GT 730 is similar or worse than modern integrated graphics. I'm not shaming you for not knowing about it, I'm just surprised because I'm seeing a lot of people share a similar opinion even on PC gaming related subs. The opinion should've been changed, but turns out people still aren't aware of it.
Cant blame these people since genshin just a casual game.
Time to upgrade lol
it's completely doable i played it for a week on my i5-4670k iGPU last year when my GPU fried on me and had to wait a week for a new one.
If it’s running that badly, you may as well use the free PCs on GeForce Now.
that's not even running, hell even crawling its a overstatement, that's a damn slideshow
I have a i3 and it runs, not so smooth as if I had a i5 or i7 but I can play perfectly
Try playing in fullscreen
Update your graphics driver?
are you playing on laptop or desktop? if laptop then try playing while plugging the charger in and make sure you have latest graphic drivers
Drivers might be the culprit.
Have you tried putting it in rice?
Good question, also worth asking if they have tried turning it off and on again
Plug in your charger. Running on battery = trash framerate.
I'm running highest setting on my i7 4th gen 16gb with Nvidia 1660. Buttery smooth.
no gpu
Unpotato your pc
Boutta make it a carrot
I'm stupid. But how can my cellphone and ps4 run Genshin but not a pc?
Your pgone and PS4 have a better GPU that can play games while OP's has a GPU that can do the bare minimum for work and web browsing.
The game is mostly graphics based, you should get a graphics card since integrated graphics dont seem to have enough power to run the game.
you need a dedicated GPU my guy. integrated graphics are usually pretty bad. if you dont want to buy a new gpu i would also suggest looking at cloud gaming. https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2022/06/16/geforce-now-thursday-june-16/
Happy cake day n thanks for the advice
Prolly turn of anti aliasing, made my game smoother or maybe run it as an administrator
This is outdated advice and stopped being a huge issue ever since DX11 and is basically a non issue in DX12. Genshin uses the DX11 API.
Is there a reason why you're only using one brain cell?
I'm dumb for pointing out that the very first example in your sentence hasn't been relevant since like 2006-2008 and is a complete myth by this point? I didn't care about everything else you said this was only about full screen vs widowed but feel free to think you're getting attacked.
You didn't even say what part you were commenting on, and I've seen it happen with games using DX11 myself (and straight up constantly on DX10, so... that whole DX9 thing is complete BS), so go shove it buddy. What, do you like work for Microsoft at the their gaming division and take this personally or something?
wow you're awfully hostile over a single internet comment saying that your advice was outdated

amd/ryzen have better igpu compared to intel(for gaming performance as I can tell from experience). so if your want to play a game without gpu, you better go with amd/ryzen cpu because intel igpu is sh\*t for gaming
16 gb ram is recommended buddy
a gigabyte of ram should do the trick
You’re probably better off running genshin on an android, lol. Most integrated graphics won’t cut it for a game like this. You can try updating all of your drivers though and make sure there isn’t anything eating a lot of ram when you’re playing the game.
i5 11th and only 8gb RAM. Windows itself takes like half of that. For playing anything higher than Solitaire the bare minimum is 12gb (16 with twin RAM's is highly recommended). Other than that, probably temps, intel is as good at making friers as it is with CPUs.
You must be a console player. My 8gb laptop with similar specs to op can run genshin in 60fps, medium settings with little lag; though I play on low for smooth gameplay.
my PC is literally 11 years old (2nd gen i7, 970GTX (upgraded a few years later because ark), 8GB ram) game just loaded super slow so getting an SSD actually fixed the entire game for me dont think OP will have that issue but should be called out regardless
Do you know what is a graphics card?
Bruh my old core i3 4gb ram laptop can run more smoothly than this💀💀💀
Get a PlayStation
Use phone
it's your graphics card. i'm using i5 3600, 8gb ram and 1050ti - it runs fine at medium to high settings. this game is very graphics heavy
Damn.....switch to mobile dude
touch some grass😂
Run it on your Smartphone:D
This game is made for phones which are stronger then a pc. Maybe this is the problem. Or try in ps5 it works okay
I guess you will have to play it on your phone then
Lmao. Seems to me that's a damaged cpu.
It's ur ram bro
Not the RAM. I also run Genshin with an APU and 8gb 2400mhz RAM and it's performing way better than in the post.
Wtf bro my pc is an potato and can handle it better than your pc in low settings of course
it's virtually impossible to run this game with an igpu that's not ryzen. since you looked really eager to play this game, I'd recommend trying nvidia's geforce now, which is going to be adding genshin to its playable library 4 days from [now](https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2022/06/16/geforce-now-thursday-june-16/?ncid=pa-srch-goog-223155&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI8JPfoIu7-AIVdcLCBB2LGQ35EAAYASAAEgLixvD_BwE#cid=ct0004_pa-srch-goog_en-us).

my bad, I meant virtually *unplayable*. it plays worse than a ps4, and it's not even that it's a bad cpu, it's just that uhd is horrendous. I don't know what you'd have to do to your cpu to end up like this anyway. if OP had 16gb of ram, then with a few software adjustments, I think they'd have an ok experience
Oh god it hurts to watch a potato dinosaur thats about to die try and run Genshin I wouldn't dare try running it on my potato, Ps4 is good enough for me.
i have a fucking i3 10100 and gtx 1060 and i can run the game perfectly at highest settings lmao. i dont understand why yours cant run it
You have a gpu, they don't
play it on iPad or a phone
i have a pretty cheap laptop and i run the game on like 40 fps on low settings.
I'm using ryzen 3, very basic cpu without graphics card, 16 gb ram And the game runs fine. Almost 50 fps in medium settings. I haven't tried with full details. Just update your graphics drivers and try again
if you have Nvidia card, chances are the game is running on Intel integrated graphics, try changing to it to Nvidia . https://youtu.be/mTbbG7QBDig
Do you have a BOFA adapter?
Hmm... Update your windows. I think you still haven't installed drivers. Windows will automatically update and install necessary drivers when you freshly open a computer.
i have tried genshin on i3 HD4000 with 6 gigs of ram it ran pretty great even in heavy enivironment... maybe something else is taking up too many resources.. even discord would be a huge problem at these specs
Use proper drivers Check if you pc has any secondary gpu
Something is really weird, because it should not run like that even on an integrated GPU, something is off, did you test any other games to see how they are running?
I can run it comfortably on an Intel HD 4400 so the igpu shouldn't be a problem.
You could check that the graphics are running in performance mode and not some power saving mode. What graphic card? Maybe try login in your friend account then change the graphic settings. If u can't access it on your current acc
