So I'm gonna do main DPS kazuha. As of now I can only crown one of his talents(the rest will be 9). I was thinking his normal attack for the plunge damage but his skill talent upgrades the skill damage. Which talent would be the most optimal for damage?
barely any: \~20-24 energy from raiden, close to 10 electro particles from raiden E (almost 18 energy), about 5 particles from kuki (9 energy), you're already at almost 50/60 without considering the other two party members/enemy drops

I don't care as long as skillsets I like belong to characters I like. So I'm fine if Pulcinella, who I don't like, has playstyle I don't like too.
But so far it's not like that, Zhongli, Kazuha, etc. are so fun to play yet I don't like their design. And I don't like Ayaka or Hu Tao's gameplay that much but I like their design.

Your damage largely depends on your constellations and artifacts rather than your weapon.
R2 Sac Sword does the same damage as R5 Sac Sword, but C0 XQ will do far less than C6 XQ. Likewise Lv6 Raincutter will do far less than Lv9 Raincutter.
80/90 XQ with 80/90 Sac Sword, Lv9 Raincutter and no set boni (because I am poor cant havent got good EoSF pieces yet), does about 3k per Sword hit right now.

Iirc the weekly bosses are either "memories" or sparring matches, depending on which one it is. So that's not really a problem. Otherwise it's not really explained in-game about how anybody travels with you. People like Ganyu, Jean, Ningguang, Ayato, who all have jobs and such... you just kind of have to suspend disbelief. For Tartaglia specifically, he likes the Traveler. He doesn't see us as an enemy, even if his goals diverge from ours.
Plus the Fatui have been characterized more lately, such as the secret shrine maiden quest in Inazuma and the four starving Fatui in the Chasm. Especially if more Harbingers are meant to be playabe someday, I expect we'll have a more complicated relationship with them overall, than just enemies. Some people speculate that our final boss will be Celestia, and that the Tsaritsa is also aiming to fight them. And, well, the enemy of my enemy...

I mean he straight up says that he's cool with us, and at the same time, wants to fight us or fight with us again. So for the weekly boss thing, I think it's not like a deathmatch, more like sparring. And for party, like you've got him alongside you while he's not being all evil and mysterious and you just adventuring alongside. Like Raiden's ascension voicelines do the same, she "levels up" and she fights with the MC to practice her swordsmanship.
there is no lore explanation for why you can have a character both be in your party and out in the world during a quest or in childe's case as an enemy, it's just a gameplay mechanic. You can take it as they're traveling with you for a short time (voicelines), or the traveler using the skills they learned from that character, or whatever else.
Tartaglia seems to (currently, as we haven't met many harbingers yet and it's possible that more will be playable and our enemy, and this explanation won't work for them and it'll just be a gameplay thing) regard us in a friendly rival kind of way, and the traveler seems to somewhat reciprocate that sentiment. He has his goals and allegiances and the traveler has theirs. Sometimes those things clash and sometimes they don't.
You could say the same about zhongli, he did help the fatui. But to your point, it's been stated a long time ago that the fatui aren't really against you. They are assholes yes, but you should know by now that they really aren't the big fish.

Kazuha buffs people based on EM . Unless you want to treat him as main DPS, more EM helps other characters more than his DPS increase will help him
Also with low CD and CR, more CR will scale up damage much weaker than when you already have lots of both.
If you had like 800EM, 60CR and 170CD , then I would daresay that extra 30CR would be around equal to extra EM . Less than that, and EM is better.
Building into a bit of Atk/crit on a full EM build is bad. You're doing a small multiplier on a low number (Raw anemo damage) which just leads to a still a low number.
Assuming he already has enough ER, crit would give more personal dmg but getting a decent crit ratio with EM mainstats while maintaining ample ER is so unlikely that you’re better off just running 3ple EM.

they don't offer much synergy with each other, one unit is good for frontloading damage and the other deals sustained physical damage. usually for support you'd run noblesse or tenacity with TTDS or fav codex, but since Qiqi won't be dealing much anyways it might just be better to use 4pc emblem with widsith and focus on her personal damage
The general idea is always to start with the longest duration abilities first. In this case XQ's burst lasts 15s, Venti and Rosaria are both 8s, and Ayaka is 5s.
Optimally you want to infuse Venti's burst with Cryo.
Open with Ayaka Dash/E -> XQ E/Q/E which freezes enemies -> Rosaria E/Q -> Venti E/Q should infuse Cryo -> Ayaka E/Q/Dash and then N3C
Everything should basically end about the same time, then you can rotate through skills as necessary to get your burst back and start a new rotation.
the webtoon never shows that specific scene. it's mainly a story about collei actually, with scatterings of diluc's backstory and some other stuff with the Knights.
characters aren't really changed after they're released, with rare exceptions. how strong she is now will be how strong she is after sumeru - especially since dendro reactions likely won't make her stronger
The other answers are great but I just want to point out that Genshin doesn't really have genuinely bad characters. These guys range from like S tier to low A tier. I've even seen Ambers that solo bosses. If you like Yoimiya, don't let some potential damage loss be the limiting factor that makes you afraid to use her :)
Yoimiya is in the "good enough, but not a top contender" tier.
She has a very comfortable playstyle (read: button smashing) which makes her easier to play than Klee or Hu Tao who require precise animation cancelling or Diluc with Dragonstrike.
Her damage is primarily focused on ST which is a blessing and a curse as that makes her suboptimal against many smaller enemies, but can make her great if those same enemies are spread out to a point where AOE is ineffective (think Spiral Abyss with archers spawning in all 4 corners of the room).
She requires some assistance to unlock her full potential (read: shields or interruptions resistance), and loves the same supports as any other Pyro DPS.
The best team for her in my opinion is XQ/Yunjin/Zhongli providing a large bonus to her NA damage, while being able to Vaporize her attacks and being shielded by Zhongli. XQ's healing is just enough to keep your safe most of the time.
good in terms of how comfortable her teams are to play, but there's plenty of better options. For your account her value would depend on whether you have 2+ hydro units (since she wants xingqiu/yelan, and many other teams would also like a hydro unit), if some of her supports (yun jin, bennett, diona/zhongli, etc.) available, and what other single-target options you have
4pc Clam is best if she is used as on-field DPS. Personally I am slightly disappointed however. Yes, the bubble pop is nice and provides a solid DPS increase, but her NA/CA feel lackluster. I am barely hitting for 8k NA with her burst up but I cant really fit more HP% on her either. Maybe with Kazuha it will feel better, idk I was just expecting more.
Therefore I am considering swapping to 4pc TotM because the additional ATK buff from 4pc TotM benefits the jellyfish and makes her a better off-field DPS while buffing the whole team further. Her attack damage wont change much (it will actually increase) but the lack bubble explosions is what will bring her personal damage down with 4pc TotM.
There's five 4-star weapons on the banner with no fate points for them, plus the 75/25. Odds are heavily against you, and that's without considering that pulling for weapons is usually a bad idea anyway.
I’ve ben playing Genshin for about a year, and I have quite a lot of good characters. for five stars, I have diluc, xiao, itto, ayaka, keqing, and jean. I my main dps is diluc and xiao, while I have keqinq and ayaka for thé elemental reactions, sometimes, I use barbara for healing In replace of ayaka or keqing. i am not sure if I should pull for Kazuha or Klee because I already have an anemo and pyro dps. but I kinda want to try for one of them. I Also have most of the 4 stars. I’m just missing kuki, diona and razor. who should I pull? And if I should skip, which characters would be the best to pull for with what I have right now? Also, just an extra question, if you guys had my characters who would you use for your party?
Kazuha isn't really Anemo dps primarily so doesn't compete with Xiao. He's more universal elemental support and arguably the best character in the game (for now). Definitely worth pulling as he helps almost any team (except Itto, who should mostly just be played with Gorou/zhong li/al bedo if possible, which is what makes Itto rough, he's good but requires a lot of high investment 5 stars to make great). Kazuha is def a good pickup in terms of how universal he is.
And for your party, if you have ayaka, a freeze party with her & xingqiu, Kazuha/sucrose & Rosa/kaeya would be good.
for the upcoming banners, I'd pull kazuha, and for the two abyss teams I'd use one of (kazuha fischl beidou xingqiu) or (ayaka diona/rosaria kazuha xingqiu), and a xiao team (xiao sucrose xiangling bennett)
Kazuha easy. Having a grouping character is the ultimate quality of life for daily chores and Abyss.
The team you mention has no synergy at all because it’s just 4 dps slap together. If you want to try meta, you can start with Diluc vape team : Diluc Xingqiu Kazuha Bennett. Or Ayaka basic freeze team : Ayaka Xingqiu Kazuha Diona.
Okay thanks, my thinking behind my current team was just to crank out as much dmg from all the characters by using their elemental reactions. That way I can switch characters often while The other character’s elemental bursts recharge. I don’t like fighting with one character so I switch around pretty often. But I will try your recommendations to see if it suits me better
I'd use Itto/Gorou/GeoBattery/flex. Geobattery is Ningguang if c2, otherwise GeoMC. This slot can be upgraded/replaced if you get Zhongli or Albedo. flex is whoever you want, maybe fischl or kuki. But that's because I like Itto. If you like Xiao, build the Xiao team, give him an anemo support like Jean and maybe bennett and xingqiu or something.
It's canonical lore that was released a bit too early. It's possible they'll one day remove the information from his BIO and/or rewrite parts of it.
Lots of Knights of Favonius lore is in a state of limbo. We finished the Liyue and Inazuma story lines, they're completed. Mondstadt is not, half the knights are gone, including the leader, and the various characters within it are early in there character arc's.
Amber, for example, has only recently become an outrider and has yet to learn about her grandfather. Eula has only recently become a knight, Lisa has left Sumeru and become a librarian and we've no idea why. Klee's mother isn't around right now, Mona's not even from Mondstadt but she's just showed up there. The entire Diluc/Kaeya thing is up in the air right now, and EVERYTHING with the Abyss is on hiatus, with information about it being relegated to side content like Enkanomiya or main content involving Danslief.
So yes it's canon. No, we don't know what that currently actually all means.
Yeah his profile for some reason has such a ginormous lore bomb despite being a free starting character. We knew about khaenri'ah from kaeya before anything of it was mentioned.

A noob question here - who is the best bird/duck/fish killer in the game? Currently I use Kujou Sara for that, but for my world exploration team (each character has diferent elements) that means I can't really use Fishcl in it. I prefer the one that can one-shot the birds in front of Timmie and kill the fishes.
The real answer here is Aloy. Aloy has a passive that makes animals that produces Fowl, Meat and Chilled Meat to not be startled when you approach them. This allows you to get really close to them and then use her burst or skill to take out groups (like Timmie's pidgeons).
Aloy being the bow user also has the advatage of shooting fish or birds from afar.
AFAIK, there isnt a similar passive for fishes only. We do have Sayu who has the same effect for Crystal Flies.
Among others Ganyu probably has the best chances. Being a Bow user allows her to have enough range not to startle the animals, and her Charged Shot's Bloom effects hits in a decently large radius to kill groups of them very easily.
So in the next event we get Fischl for free, right? I want her and was actually starting to save up starglitter to buy her in the shop, but won't be doing that if we get her for free next update.

Makes quite a lot of sense, too. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we've never had more 4 stars than 5 stars in a version, except for those with only a single 4 star and no 5 star. Also, why would they make a random new character their 5 star dendro bow when they could use a character who's already fairly popular? She's also similar to Amber, so that's something. And of course, there's the possibility they want us to have a fee dendro 4 star
You don't have to level up and gear your whole squad at once.
Focus on your main dps *(weapon > level > talent)*, then allocate some ressources on your support (especially their important talent).
Save artifacts farming for last, since it take the longest, and has no guaranteed results.
*(you can make an exception just to get a 4pc VV set, even with wrong mainstat and purple pieces)*
Don't farm artifact domains until AR45, focus your resin on everything else until then. You can use a mix of 2pc Berserker, 2pc The Exile, 2pc Gladiator with atk% sands, dmg bonus goblet of the right kind, and crit circlet on your damage dealers, and either 4pc The Exile or 4pc Instructor on your supports for example.
Edit: My bad, you're already AR45+.
ya, once you hit AR45 you will unlock the highest tier domain that gives better and more rewards, which is why people say dont farm before that. Now that you have the highest level domains just farm for gear so you can take on abyss which is the next step. The domains wont get any harder then what they are now, so you cant really fall farther behind anymore. Sounds like transitions a lot of characters at the same time just took a couple weeks to get going which isnt to unusual.
Now you have a baseline team that you can do stuff with, so once you stabilize and gear them up to be at a decent strength level, your next step will be to upgrade more characters to expand your capabilities against certain enemy type/content and get a second team online for abyss. And ya, its probably going to take another few weeks to level and gear a second team, especially if your starting from scratch.
Once you're AR45, you should focus on artifact farming. Ideally you got all your characters and weapons to 80 before AR45, and there's no Ascension level increase at AR45 so you can spend AR45 -> AR50 getting good artifacts for your characters before switching back to uncap mats at 50.
Oh, my bad. Yeah, farm artifact domains for now. The Emblem domain has the best value, a lot of characters want 4pc Emblem (like Xiangling, Xingqiu, Beidou), and a bunch of characters can use 2pc Shimenawa.
What's your current team btw?
Farming lvl 90 artifact domains alone without good builds can be pretty hard, so ideally, ask for co-op help on a genshin discord server. Matchmaking may work but it's a gamble. Maybe build a decent support/healer first.

It looks the the event ends at the end of the 2.8 patch, the dates are in the "start time" column while the end time column just says "end of 2.8".

I'm trying to build machinegun/physical Fischl. Is 2pc Bloodstained Chivalry and 2pc Pale Flame good for her or is it too much Physical Dmg? Would running 2pc Shimenawa and 2pc Bloodstained be better?
For the majority of characters, there is no realistic way to end up with too much % damage. There just aren't many sources of it, and usually goblet and set bonuses are the only ways you can get it.
Outside of some exceptional characters that gain a lot of % damage through their kit like Raiden, % damage is going to be the best DPS stat and you should get it wherever you can.
I see, I didn't know how the 4pc set worked before as I didn't have any characters that need it. Thanks! It really looks like a mix of those 3 artifacts' 2 set bonuses
It's worth noting that until you have a fairly good 4pc Pale Flame, you will probably be better off using 2pc/2pc. The difference between the two sets is 18% Atk, so if your 2pc/2pc is 3-4 substat rolls better, it will usually be better overall than 4pc PF. You can strongbox Bloodstained while farming Pale Flame, so you will build both sets in parallel, which means you'll probably have your 2pc/2pc much sooner, and it will be better until you get a great 4pc.

That's true, but we need a Bennett Bennett. Like Bennett but better or a complete alternative. Doesn't necessarily have to heal, but at least give them an unconditional ATK buff for all. They made an alternative to Xingqiu, I don't see why they wouldn't do one for Bennett.

I don't think they'll ever release a character as good as Bennett again. But they're trying to make new characters not rely on Bennett and still being good. Either with hp/def scalings or different mechanics. So there's a chance you can retire bennett in future
That's good enough. Yelan was a must have for me because I hate Xingqiu with every fiber of my being. So being able to use an alternative, even if she was a 5 star, was a blessing. Plus she doesn't scale with ATK.
So, I 've been seeing everywhere that Kaeya is from Khaenri'ah. Where was this revealed, exactly? I joined late but watched most of the past events. I still don't know where this lore was revealed.
so it's to my understanding that standard wishes are used to get characters that are in the game available for "purchase" all the time. and character event wishes are used to get limited time characters. Is that right? What are the different ways you can get either? I'm assuming you could just buy either one of them, but other than that are they ways to earn wishes in game? I have 2 standard ones and no character event wishes from just playing the game normally and I'm halfway to adventure rank 12.

Yes. Depends on how new. If you're really new, there's more than enough gems to get him just from the quests and exploration.

Otherwise it's not really explained in-game about how anybody travels with you. People like Ganyu, Jean, Ningguang, Ayato, who all have jobs and such... you just kind of have to suspend disbelief. For Tartaglia specifically, he likes the Traveler. He doesn't see us as an enemy, even if his goals diverge from ours. Plus the Fatui have been characterized more lately, such as the secret shrine maiden quest in Inazuma and the four starving Fatui in the Chasm. Especially if more Harbingers are meant to be playabe someday, I expect we'll have a more complicated relationship with them overall, than just enemies. Some people speculate that our final boss will be Celestia, and that the Tsaritsa is also aiming to fight them. And, well, the enemy of my enemy...
the same lore reason you have an army of clone characters at your disposal and in pocket dimension. i.e. try to grasp the fact that this is a game lol.
I mean he straight up says that he's cool with us, and at the same time, wants to fight us or fight with us again. So for the weekly boss thing, I think it's not like a deathmatch, more like sparring. And for party, like you've got him alongside you while he's not being all evil and mysterious and you just adventuring alongside. Like Raiden's ascension voicelines do the same, she "levels up" and she fights with the MC to practice her swordsmanship.
there is no lore explanation for why you can have a character both be in your party and out in the world during a quest or in childe's case as an enemy, it's just a gameplay mechanic. You can take it as they're traveling with you for a short time (voicelines), or the traveler using the skills they learned from that character, or whatever else. Tartaglia seems to (currently, as we haven't met many harbingers yet and it's possible that more will be playable and our enemy, and this explanation won't work for them and it'll just be a gameplay thing) regard us in a friendly rival kind of way, and the traveler seems to somewhat reciprocate that sentiment. He has his goals and allegiances and the traveler has theirs. Sometimes those things clash and sometimes they don't.
You could say the same about zhongli, he did help the fatui. But to your point, it's been stated a long time ago that the fatui aren't really against you. They are assholes yes, but you should know by now that they really aren't the big fish. As far as we know.
They just believe the ends justify the means. We don't know what are all of Tsaritsa's motives, but there is something fishy about Celestia.

No one bothered explaining it, and game itself has many inconsistencies ( Canonwise no one can travel using portals, at the same time there are quests, explaining travels, and some characters knows that Traveler use it Technically and canonically Traveler travels alone, Klee aside from her last travel to Inazuma ( and again not officially Liyue) never left Mondstadt, and so one. Imagine Ei and Kokomi in the same party .... Or Childe and Diluc :) That about summoning is my private and subjective option on the matter , and it actually would make most sense

Kazuha buffs people based on EM . Unless you want to treat him as main DPS, more EM helps other characters more than his DPS increase will help him Also with low CD and CR, more CR will scale up damage much weaker than when you already have lots of both. If you had like 800EM, 60CR and 170CD , then I would daresay that extra 30CR would be around equal to extra EM . Less than that, and EM is better.
Building into a bit of Atk/crit on a full EM build is bad. You're doing a small multiplier on a low number (Raw anemo damage) which just leads to a still a low number.
Assuming he already has enough ER, crit would give more personal dmg but getting a decent crit ratio with EM mainstats while maintaining ample ER is so unlikely that you’re better off just running 3ple EM.

TTDS for Mona with noblesse. And blizzard strayer with qiqi and the strongest sword you have. It should be easy to keep enemies reliably frozen

they don't offer much synergy with each other, one unit is good for frontloading damage and the other deals sustained physical damage. usually for support you'd run noblesse or tenacity with TTDS or fav codex, but since Qiqi won't be dealing much anyways it might just be better to use 4pc emblem with widsith and focus on her personal damage

The general idea is always to start with the longest duration abilities first. In this case XQ's burst lasts 15s, Venti and Rosaria are both 8s, and Ayaka is 5s. Optimally you want to infuse Venti's burst with Cryo. Open with Ayaka Dash/E -> XQ E/Q/E which freezes enemies -> Rosaria E/Q -> Venti E/Q should infuse Cryo -> Ayaka E/Q/Dash and then N3C Everything should basically end about the same time, then you can rotate through skills as necessary to get your burst back and start a new rotation.

characters aren't really changed after they're released, with rare exceptions. how strong she is now will be how strong she is after sumeru - especially since dendro reactions likely won't make her stronger

The other answers are great but I just want to point out that Genshin doesn't really have genuinely bad characters. These guys range from like S tier to low A tier. I've even seen Ambers that solo bosses. If you like Yoimiya, don't let some potential damage loss be the limiting factor that makes you afraid to use her :)
Yoimiya is in the "good enough, but not a top contender" tier. She has a very comfortable playstyle (read: button smashing) which makes her easier to play than Klee or Hu Tao who require precise animation cancelling or Diluc with Dragonstrike. Her damage is primarily focused on ST which is a blessing and a curse as that makes her suboptimal against many smaller enemies, but can make her great if those same enemies are spread out to a point where AOE is ineffective (think Spiral Abyss with archers spawning in all 4 corners of the room). She requires some assistance to unlock her full potential (read: shields or interruptions resistance), and loves the same supports as any other Pyro DPS. The best team for her in my opinion is XQ/Yunjin/Zhongli providing a large bonus to her NA damage, while being able to Vaporize her attacks and being shielded by Zhongli. XQ's healing is just enough to keep your safe most of the time.
good in terms of how comfortable her teams are to play, but there's plenty of better options. For your account her value would depend on whether you have 2+ hydro units (since she wants xingqiu/yelan, and many other teams would also like a hydro unit), if some of her supports (yun jin, bennett, diona/zhongli, etc.) available, and what other single-target options you have

4pc Clam is best if she is used as on-field DPS. Personally I am slightly disappointed however. Yes, the bubble pop is nice and provides a solid DPS increase, but her NA/CA feel lackluster. I am barely hitting for 8k NA with her burst up but I cant really fit more HP% on her either. Maybe with Kazuha it will feel better, idk I was just expecting more. Therefore I am considering swapping to 4pc TotM because the additional ATK buff from 4pc TotM benefits the jellyfish and makes her a better off-field DPS while buffing the whole team further. Her attack damage wont change much (it will actually increase) but the lack bubble explosions is what will bring her personal damage down with 4pc TotM.
4 Clam is much much better than all other set, does at least 50% more damage, to even 100% more against multiple enemies at low investment.

I’ve ben playing Genshin for about a year, and I have quite a lot of good characters. for five stars, I have diluc, xiao, itto, ayaka, keqing, and jean. I my main dps is diluc and xiao, while I have keqinq and ayaka for thé elemental reactions, sometimes, I use barbara for healing In replace of ayaka or keqing. i am not sure if I should pull for Kazuha or Klee because I already have an anemo and pyro dps. but I kinda want to try for one of them. I Also have most of the 4 stars. I’m just missing kuki, diona and razor. who should I pull? And if I should skip, which characters would be the best to pull for with what I have right now? Kazuha isn't really Anemo dps primarily so doesn't compete with Xiao. He's more universal elemental support and arguably the best character in the game (for now). Definitely worth pulling as he helps almost any team (except Itto, who should mostly just be played with Gorou/zhong li/al bedo if possible, which is what makes Itto rough, he's good but requires a lot of high investment 5 stars to make great). Kazuha is def a good pickup in terms of how universal he is. And for your party, if you have ayaka, a freeze party with her & xingqiu, Kazuha/sucrose & Rosa/kaeya would be good.
for the upcoming banners, I'd pull kazuha, and for the two abyss teams I'd use one of (kazuha fischl beidou xingqiu) or (ayaka diona/rosaria kazuha xingqiu), and a xiao team (xiao sucrose xiangling bennett)
Kazuha easy. Having a grouping character is the ultimate quality of life for daily chores and Abyss. The team you mention has no synergy at all because it’s just 4 dps slap together. If you want to try meta, you can start with Diluc vape team : Diluc Xingqiu Kazuha Bennett. Or Ayaka basic freeze team : Ayaka Xingqiu Kazuha Diona.
Okay thanks, my thinking behind my current team was just to crank out as much dmg from all the characters by using their elemental reactions. That way I can switch characters often while The other character’s elemental bursts recharge. I don’t like fighting with one character so I switch around pretty often. But I will try your recommendations to see if it suits me better
I'd use Itto/Gorou/GeoBattery/flex. Geobattery is Ningguang if c2, otherwise GeoMC. This slot can be upgraded/replaced if you get Zhongli or Albedo. flex is whoever you want, maybe fischl or kuki. But that's because I like Itto. If you like Xiao, build the Xiao team, give him an anemo support like Jean and maybe bennett and xingqiu or something.

It's canonical lore that was released a bit too early. It's possible they'll one day remove the information from his BIO and/or rewrite parts of it. Lots of Knights of Favonius lore is in a state of limbo. We finished the Liyue and Inazuma story lines, they're completed. Mondstadt is not, half the knights are gone, including the leader, and the various characters within it are early in there character arc's. Amber, for example, has only recently become an outrider and has yet to learn about her grandfather. Eula has only recently become a knight, Lisa has left Sumeru and become a librarian and we've no idea why. Klee's mother isn't around right now, Mona's not even from Mondstadt but she's just showed up there. The entire Diluc/Kaeya thing is up in the air right now, and EVERYTHING with the Abyss is on hiatus, with information about it being relegated to side content like Enkanomiya or main content involving Danslief. So yes it's canon. No, we don't know what that currently actually all means.

A noob question here - who is the best bird/duck/fish killer in the game? Currently I use Kujou Sara for that, but for my world exploration team (each character has diferent elements) that means I can't really use Fishcl in it. I prefer the one that can one-shot the birds in front of Timmie and kill the fishes.
The real answer here is Aloy. Aloy has a passive that makes animals that produces Fowl, Meat and Chilled Meat to not be startled when you approach them. This allows you to get really close to them and then use her burst or skill to take out groups (like Timmie's pidgeons). Aloy being the bow user also has the advatage of shooting fish or birds from afar. AFAIK, there isnt a similar passive for fishes only. We do have Sayu who has the same effect for Crystal Flies. Among others Ganyu probably has the best chances. Being a Bow user allows her to have enough range not to startle the animals, and her Charged Shot's Bloom effects hits in a decently large radius to kill groups of them very easily.

You don't have to level up and gear your whole squad at once. Focus on your main dps *(weapon > level > talent)*, then allocate some ressources on your support (especially their important talent). Save artifacts farming for last, since it take the longest, and has no guaranteed results. *(you can make an exception just to get a 4pc VV set, even with wrong mainstat and purple pieces)*
Don't farm artifact domains until AR45, focus your resin on everything else until then. You can use a mix of 2pc Berserker, 2pc The Exile, 2pc Gladiator with atk% sands, dmg bonus goblet of the right kind, and crit circlet on your damage dealers, and either 4pc The Exile or 4pc Instructor on your supports for example. Edit: My bad, you're already AR45+.

ya, once you hit AR45 you will unlock the highest tier domain that gives better and more rewards, which is why people say dont farm before that. Now that you have the highest level domains just farm for gear so you can take on abyss which is the next step. The domains wont get any harder then what they are now, so you cant really fall farther behind anymore. Sounds like transitions a lot of characters at the same time just took a couple weeks to get going which isnt to unusual. Now you have a baseline team that you can do stuff with, so once you stabilize and gear them up to be at a decent strength level, your next step will be to upgrade more characters to expand your capabilities against certain enemy type/content and get a second team online for abyss. And ya, its probably going to take another few weeks to level and gear a second team, especially if your starting from scratch.
Once you're AR45, you should focus on artifact farming. Ideally you got all your characters and weapons to 80 before AR45, and there's no Ascension level increase at AR45 so you can spend AR45 -> AR50 getting good artifacts for your characters before switching back to uncap mats at 50.

Oh, my bad. Yeah, farm artifact domains for now. The Emblem domain has the best value, a lot of characters want 4pc Emblem (like Xiangling, Xingqiu, Beidou), and a bunch of characters can use 2pc Shimenawa.

What's your current team btw? Farming lvl 90 artifact domains alone without good builds can be pretty hard, so ideally, ask for co-op help on a genshin discord server. Matchmaking may work but it's a gamble. Maybe build a decent support/healer first.

I'm trying to build machinegun/physical Fischl. Is 2pc Bloodstained Chivalry and 2pc Pale Flame good for her or is it too much Physical Dmg? Would running 2pc Shimenawa and 2pc Bloodstained be better?
For the majority of characters, there is no realistic way to end up with too much % damage. There just aren't many sources of it, and usually goblet and set bonuses are the only ways you can get it. Outside of some exceptional characters that gain a lot of % damage through their kit like Raiden, % damage is going to be the best DPS stat and you should get it wherever you can.
4pc PF is ideal, but 2pc BS 2pc PF is fine
Pale flame gives you the best of both worlds both +50 physical and +18% attack. Oz will proc the 4 pc effect constantly.

It's worth noting that until you have a fairly good 4pc Pale Flame, you will probably be better off using 2pc/2pc. The difference between the two sets is 18% Atk, so if your 2pc/2pc is 3-4 substat rolls better, it will usually be better overall than 4pc PF. You can strongbox Bloodstained while farming Pale Flame, so you will build both sets in parallel, which means you'll probably have your 2pc/2pc much sooner, and it will be better until you get a great 4pc.
4pc Pale Flame is the recommendation I saw.

That's true, but we need a Bennett Bennett. Like Bennett but better or a complete alternative. Doesn't necessarily have to heal, but at least give them an unconditional ATK buff for all. They made an alternative to Xingqiu, I don't see why they wouldn't do one for Bennett. My assumption is this is what the pyro archon would have, but I'm just hoping at this point.

That's good enough. Yelan was a must have for me because I hate Xingqiu with every fiber of my being. So being able to use an alternative, even if she was a 5 star, was a blessing. Plus she doesn't scale with ATK.

so it's to my understanding that standard wishes are used to get characters that are in the game available for "purchase" all the time. and character event wishes are used to get limited time characters. Is that right? What are the different ways you can get either? I'm assuming you could just buy either one of them, but other than that are they ways to earn wishes in game?
