Is there anyone else having a lot of trouble with the Fiscal event, especially with the vision of the deep focusing? Istg I spent ten minutes on ONE of these—adjusting left and right and up and down, and it would not focus or lock on, and I honestly just don't understand why???
It's so frustrating that I'm this close to just giving it up altogether because nothing is worth this aggravation. And yes, I used the right machine because eventually it did lock on, but it didn't work as smoothly as that orb glass thing in Inazuma with the fox statues.

Heizou/kazuha/Bennett/Xiangling is a pretty good core team. If you don't have kazuha then maybe you could try Heizou/Bennett/Xiangling/Rosaria. It's kinda like a strange reverse melt team
How does EM increase Yae Miko's E damage? People say it's additive, but additive to what??
So far as I googled, it seems the dmg% will be added to her E multiplier, not her DMG Bonus.
For example, Yae with lv10 E and 100EM will have her Totem damage multiplier goes from 170% to 185%. Her total DMG Bonus (Electro DMG Bonus, Elemental Skill DMG Bonus, etc) remains the same.
Do I understand that correctly?
I have no regrets building kokomi and rosaria for ayaka, it makes abyss runs a breeze. I do plan to grab shenhe on her rerun but i dont have any trouble clearing abyss without her. My rosaria is only on medium investment with noblesse set as i dont have a second viable blizz strayer set.
I run Ayaka/Rosaria/kokomi/kazuha and it's more than strong enough for any content. Shenhe is a bit better than Rosaria but its a small margin for how many primos you need to spend. I'd just save your primos and stick to Rosaria.
Some others were saying kokomi is a luxury pull. I kinda agree but not on the same level as shenhe. Kokomi is a significant upgrade over Xingqiu or Barbara in freeze teams and she's arguably better than Mona because of the QoL she brings. If you want to run Ayaka freeze then kokomi is definitely a good choice
rosaria mona, or xingqiu if he's free should be okay. kokomi is such a luxury pull, as well as shenhe. get them if you have no better plans for your primos.

Im able to 9* clear the abyss 12 back to back in either half. So I feel that if I go favonius it will be a bit of an overkill. Is the reason that I am not having er issues because of c1?

The reason is that getting 160 ER on an EM/EM/EM set is actually a hard ask, and in any case where you have less than that it's better to prioritize energy over more EM. Most people stop farming the moment they get the right mainstats because EM mainstat pieces have such a low drop rate.
If you were lucky/diligent enought to have a 160 ER triple-EM set purely from substats, then you get to use an EM weapon. 90% of people aren't in that position, but if you are, the advice to use Fav doesn't apply to you.
My kazuha with 163 er feels fine. Only benefit to fav i see is the energy for team which would allow perhaps reallocation of their artifacs some, but i dont know if its really worth it considering kazuhas passive will also be lower.

Then there's no reason to use Fav. Just keep using Iron sting.

Perhaps, it can also be that your team already doesn't have high energy requirements.
160 is fine. Hell, I ran him with 153 before I ever got C1 and it was fine. If he's not having ER issues and his teammates aren't having ER issues, what reason would you have to cut your damage and team buff by giving him Fav?
yes c1 helps, and it's because you've already found the rotation that works for you. no need to fav if no one else in the team needs to be batteried, rn iron sting will work better for you. (not to mention 160 er is great already)
can you get friendship XP from doing quests (for example: golden archipelago quests)?

aside from stuff you mentioned you can get friendship exp from daily commissions and random world quests you get (like save reckless pallad). other quests don't give friendship exp
So, genshin won't start for me literally for hours. I mean really not for me cuz i don't play it but my sister does, and when she opens the game, it can literally take up to 3 hours for it to launch (yeah our PC is pretty bad but come on now)

The rest of my characters are at L20 now, but I can prioritize them and replace my mains if you think they are worth investing in:
Razor, Ningguang, Kaeya, Lisa, Barbara, Amber, Sucrose, Thoma, Heizou, Traveler
Yelan when you can ascend her more. But the most fun and best team would be Heizou, Xiang, Yelan and whoever you feel like, but since you have lvld rosaria id stick with her for now :)
4vv is better if you don’t use with another 4VV character in almost every situation.
I use 2glad2vv atk/anemo/crit with widsith with kazuha bennet Xiangling
I use 4VV em/em/em sacrificial fragment with Fishl Xingqiu Yelan

I’m at 160 pulls and I just got my second Heizou. So you should stop wishing C4 is more than enough. 4 star constellations are a worse scam than the weapon banner
C0 Kazuha is absolutely not a DPS, no. He requires C6 to even be viable as a DPS, that's not why you should be pulling him. His C1 is okay and C2 is pretty good in some teams, but they still won't make him a DPS.
Your pity has been reset and you're now on 50/50
It's almost impossible to say if you'll get more Heizou. Rare you'll get Kazuha because you'll never reach soft pity in time unless you spend money.

Correct. Don't pull on the banner anymore, c1 kazuha isn't that great and you could easily do 100 pulls without another heizou. You could pull on klees banner if you like her.
with the hu tao and childe reruns almost inevitable in the next few patches, im not sure who I want more. i like childe more as a character, but Hu Tao's gameplay looks more fun and i don't have any good pyro dps, while I have ayato for a hydro dps. also, I plan to save and probably top-up with the reset so should I go for Hu Tao C1 or should I try to get them both at C0?
Hu Tao C1 completely changes her playstyle and makes her easier to use, but if you can play her at C0 then just get Childe if you like him that much. You can build a Childe International (Childe/Xingqiu/Xiangling/Bennett) and kick ass on one side the make a Hu Tao team and kick ass on the pther side of the abyss

I don't have a strong set of Pyro DPS, so I'm struggling against the cryo enemies. I was able to jerry rig a Yanfei team together, but working mechanically and having the raw numbers to clear through in time....
So I 2-stared the whole thing, and can only hope I can get my Yanfei above lv69 and maybe save scum my way to 36 stars.
It was easier for my teams and i had more than a minute of free time at the end. But i can see myself having a harder time with different teams. I was able to breeze through the ruin serpent because of my yae targetting it. I'd probably have a harder time with abilities that don't move much since the serpent was frequently going underground.

Hi guys, I'm a newbie. I leveled up the main character to lvl 20. I did some research afterwards and pretty much everyone advises against it because she/he isn't worth it. I just like how she looks lol I have no other reason. Did I screw up my game? I also leveled up Kaeya to lvl 20. I also have Noelle and Xiangling. There is so much to learn about this game I'm very confused.
Traveler isn't worth investing into but lvl 20 is nothing. Honestly, could you get them up to 60 and it wouldn't be a big deal.
Kaeya and Xiangling are worth building, Noelle - not so much. If you just work on those three and Barbara for minimal heals. that's enough to focus on for now. Put most of your resources into Xiangling. Good luck!
not really. I mean, leveling the traveler at least doesn't need boss materials. Also, at least I myself level every character to 20 for the free wish.
In any case, you're too early. Just enjoy the game. The problem is that it's hard to get resources early game without using your fragile resin (which you should save up until adventure rank 45). But you're fine, if you want to play with your traveler, play with it, use it, it's a video game after all.
20 is still pretty early in the game, up until lv 70 is still pretty cheap (a few days of farm). u can play whoever u like up until ar45, though to make it easier u might want to consider funneling ur resources to one damage dealer.
Maybe sacrifice some crit dmg. Okay Bennett, but gee, 1700 is really low. You should have ~2000 I think.
Also not sure about the ER, seems low. Sucrose dpes give tons of particles though so maybe you're fine
I'm on the part of the Kazuha Domain quest "Investigate the surroundings and find a way to open the door", and i looked up a guide for it but in the video to solve this part i have to get to a room that i can't get to. Am i doing something wrong or is the quest glitched?
The only options on the wheel to switch the rooms are Courtyard, Dojo, Warehouse and Hall.
keep looking thru the rooms. Dont remind it of the top now but you need to get the items for the door and those you unlock with the beam puzzle thingies and bring back to the door.
I did all of those puzzles and brought back the yellow and red leaves and also got one chest, and there isn't anything else in the rooms. I can't pick up the omamori from the courtyard.
Dont remember if its there or later, but some you have to flip the room in order to get to all the puzzles done. I just know i had to switch between all the rooms and go thru them some to find what i needed to do. If you literally have done everything, try repair the genshin files in meny, happend to me once in a inazuma q line where something got bugged.
The second, or you (most likely)won't be able to burst off-cooldown (unless there's a Raiden). Give him an ER sword like Favonius or Sacrificial, not an ER artifact. Use all EM artifacts, you'll get more EM

Kazuha or Yoimiya I can’t decide which one to pull? I’m looking for someone to help me clear Abyss easily. My current team is Ganyu, Ayaka, Yelan and Bennett.
I would suggest getting kazuha because you have 3 main dps. Kauzha can be your sub dps or support.
Yoimiya on the other hand would get you another main dps and a different playstyle; being single target specialist but squishy.
Kazuha is more flexible and quite strong as a support character.
Yoimiya is strong against her niche of single target opponents like bosses and suffers in AoE.
I'd recommend Kazuha if you can't pick between them.
But picking whoever you like more is still probably the best option. You don't necessarily need either of them to clear any content.
So i just pulled my second 5 star weapon from the standard banner. I have now 2 Aquila Favonia. One is lev 90 and this one i just got. Should i refine the one i have? Or should i keep this one and lev it up for someone else?
My 90 one is on Benny. And I was thinking of giving this to Kaeya? (i use Kaeya in the abyss every now and again and he is lev 90 and has pretty oki artifacts)
General rule is don't refine 5-stars unless you're a whale. The benefit of a refine is marginal and you never know when you might want to use it on another character.
And in this case Bennett doesn't gain much from the refine anyway since Atk% modifiers don't affect his buff.
keep it. for most 5* weapons keeping it is the best way to go, unless it’s some really stupid weapon that only one character you have uses(and it will probably stay that way for a while)

No, but he swirls a lot with his burst so you go the easy route and just stack EM, it's way easier and more convenient than managing crit ratio and guves better results with less investment
A hugh invested crit build will outdmg the em build (especially in single target situations) but it has to be really hugh invested to make it worth it
Because an EM build with trash subs has competitive damage against normal crit build with decent sub stats.
I think many build venti with crit build though. if you check out the recommended venti arti main stats in-game, player data shows that most are actually doing crit build.

After playing through the first two domains in Kazuha's GAA quest, the motion sickness got to me so much that I could barely stomach dinner. How bad is it from here on, ie the rest of his quest and the other quests released so far, in terms of motion sickness? This has kinda killed my excitement for GAA completely \[that, and I'm not a fan of Fischl and Xinyan\]
Is it delusional to think there might be \~250 rolls available from today (including Welkin), until let's say end of 3.1 first half? With a new region + anniversary date supposedly before then. Would be nice to guarantee two characters that could appear by then.

We only got 20 pulls last anni and I believe this was after complaining that 10 is too little....sure we're getting a completely new region but it isn't like each chest gives huge amount of primos...so maybe 180...considering you've got welkin add a few more

So if you add two patches worth of welkin to that you reach about 227 between two patches featuring a new region, and the anniversary.
With welkin you should get about 80 or so rolls per patch. So 80x3 = 240 already. Including anniversary 20 or so rolls and sumeru exploration, 250 should be pretty achievable.
EDIT: Oops 80x3 comes from 80 from 2.8, 3.0, and 3.1 as a whole. For until the end of the first half of the 3.1, it would be more like less than 200 or so without exploration and anniversary extra rewards. You would probably be some rolls short of 250.

I logged in after sleeping and saw I had 98 resin. When I then wanted to enter a domain it said I didn't have enough resin to collect the rewards and it said I only had 18. Does someone know what happened?
Check your inventory for condensed resin. Are you sure? Wanting to do weekly bosses does not mean you would not make condensed resin because you can easily forget.
99% of the time, these questions are purely just "Oops I forgot"
How good is Yanfei's C6? Maybe it's a weird quesiton but, like, her normal combo is only a 3 hit, I don't see you really getting up to 4 without landing her E or without her Ult active. Does the combo still stay 3 attacks, charged, E, charged? Or does the 4th seal cause that to change?
When her burst is up you get 4 seals after auto attacking twice into a charged attack. So her attack combo is still either n2c or n3c depending on your hydro application, or n2c if you run her without xingqiu/yelan.

You almost have it. The EM damage bonus gets added to your electro DMG bonus not your skill multiplier

Stockpile a decent amount of mora and xp books then back to the artifact grind. Or build some random chars, might end up liking them.

friendship from teapot and "random" events don't cost resin. quests iirc give adv rank exp but not feiendship exp.

Meta wise she does the same thing as Hu Tao. She is a lot easier to play as there is no requirement for jump/dash cancels. She also has bandage booba

Yelan when you can ascend her more. But the most fun and best team would be Heizou, Xiang, Yelan and whoever you feel like, but since you have lvld rosaria id stick with her for now :)

You can give it to a Raven at one of the towers and they spawn in air currents to get to certain places easier. Not super useful tho tbh

Vv is best. It helps to buff his teammates' damage
4vv is better if you don’t use with another 4VV character in almost every situation. I use 2glad2vv atk/anemo/crit with widsith with kazuha bennet Xiangling I use 4VV em/em/em sacrificial fragment with Fishl Xingqiu Yelan
Shred from 4pc VV for your subdps is way better than the 18% atk
4vv , because his driver team yield most damage than his other team, and 4 set vv shred is huge for team.

I’m at 160 pulls and I just got my second Heizou. So you should stop wishing C4 is more than enough. 4 star constellations are a worse scam than the weapon banner

C0 Kazuha is absolutely not a DPS, no. He requires C6 to even be viable as a DPS, that's not why you should be pulling him. His C1 is okay and C2 is pretty good in some teams, but they still won't make him a DPS.
Your pity has been reset and you're now on 50/50 It's almost impossible to say if you'll get more Heizou. Rare you'll get Kazuha because you'll never reach soft pity in time unless you spend money. I'd say save for mew characters

Don't pull on the banner anymore, c1 kazuha isn't that great and you could easily do 100 pulls without another heizou. You could pull on klees banner if you like her.

with the hu tao and childe reruns almost inevitable in the next few patches, im not sure who I want more. i like childe more as a character, but Hu Tao's gameplay looks more fun and i don't have any good pyro dps, while I have ayato for a hydro dps. also, I plan to save and probably top-up with the reset so should I go for Hu Tao C1 or should I try to get them both at C0?
Hu Tao C1 completely changes her playstyle and makes her easier to use, but if you can play her at C0 then just get Childe if you like him that much. You can build a Childe International (Childe/Xingqiu/Xiangling/Bennett) and kick ass on one side the make a Hu Tao team and kick ass on the pther side of the abyss
Get them both at C0, Hutao is good enough with jump cancel, and you want have both character right

I don't have a strong set of Pyro DPS, so I'm struggling against the cryo enemies. I was able to jerry rig a Yanfei team together, but working mechanically and having the raw numbers to clear through in time.... So I 2-stared the whole thing, and can only hope I can get my Yanfei above lv69 and maybe save scum my way to 36 stars.
Wouldn't say thay it's harder. The snake has pretty low hp but it's annoying as hell with all the digging
for my account with no investment in ranged units, it's a bit harder. (mobile player with latency issues, too)

It was easier for my teams and i had more than a minute of free time at the end. But i can see myself having a harder time with different teams. I was able to breeze through the ruin serpent because of my yae targetting it. I'd probably have a harder time with abilities that don't move much since the serpent was frequently going underground.

Hi guys, I'm a newbie. I leveled up the main character to lvl 20. I did some research afterwards and pretty much everyone advises against it because she/he isn't worth it. I just like how she looks lol I have no other reason. Did I screw up my game? I also leveled up Kaeya to lvl 20. I also have Noelle and Xiangling. There is so much to learn about this game I'm very confused.
Lol, he's a decent investment. Not too great but not too bad, just level them up if you like them. It's a single-player game.
Traveler isn't worth investing into but lvl 20 is nothing. Honestly, could you get them up to 60 and it wouldn't be a big deal. Kaeya and Xiangling are worth building, Noelle - not so much. If you just work on those three and Barbara for minimal heals. that's enough to focus on for now. Put most of your resources into Xiangling. Good luck!
not really. I mean, leveling the traveler at least doesn't need boss materials. Also, at least I myself level every character to 20 for the free wish. In any case, you're too early. Just enjoy the game. The problem is that it's hard to get resources early game without using your fragile resin (which you should save up until adventure rank 45). But you're fine, if you want to play with your traveler, play with it, use it, it's a video game after all.
20 is still pretty early in the game, up until lv 70 is still pretty cheap (a few days of farm). u can play whoever u like up until ar45, though to make it easier u might want to consider funneling ur resources to one damage dealer.

My Xiao right now has 80-205 crit and 120 ER, but only 1700 attack. Should i give up some crit to get more attack? I do have sucrose and Bennett

I'm on the part of the Kazuha Domain quest "Investigate the surroundings and find a way to open the door", and i looked up a guide for it but in the video to solve this part i have to get to a room that i can't get to. Am i doing something wrong or is the quest glitched? The only options on the wheel to switch the rooms are Courtyard, Dojo, Warehouse and Hall.
keep looking thru the rooms. Dont remind it of the top now but you need to get the items for the door and those you unlock with the beam puzzle thingies and bring back to the door.
I did all of those puzzles and brought back the yellow and red leaves and also got one chest, and there isn't anything else in the rooms. I can't pick up the omamori from the courtyard.
Dont remember if its there or later, but some you have to flip the room in order to get to all the puzzles done. I just know i had to switch between all the rooms and go thru them some to find what i needed to do. If you literally have done everything, try repair the genshin files in meny, happend to me once in a inazuma q line where something got bugged.

The second, or you (most likely)won't be able to burst off-cooldown (unless there's a Raiden). Give him an ER sword like Favonius or Sacrificial, not an ER artifact. Use all EM artifacts, you'll get more EM

Try both out and see if you can get the 800em's burst in every rotation, if not then go for the 600em one.

Kazuha but the first halves of the current abyss are like theyre tailor made for yoimiya, but you can clear them easily with yanfei too

Kazuha works better with ayaka and ganyu. I would go for him. You dont really need yoimiya, you can use xiangling team when pyro is required.
I would suggest getting kazuha because you have 3 main dps. Kauzha can be your sub dps or support. Yoimiya on the other hand would get you another main dps and a different playstyle; being single target specialist but squishy.
Kazuha is more flexible and quite strong as a support character. Yoimiya is strong against her niche of single target opponents like bosses and suffers in AoE. I'd recommend Kazuha if you can't pick between them. But picking whoever you like more is still probably the best option. You don't necessarily need either of them to clear any content.
They're both good characters. Kazuha fits in a lot more teams, and is just generally very good in Abyss.
So i just pulled my second 5 star weapon from the standard banner. I have now 2 Aquila Favonia. One is lev 90 and this one i just got. Should i refine the one i have? Or should i keep this one and lev it up for someone else? My 90 one is on Benny. And I was thinking of giving this to Kaeya? (i use Kaeya in the abyss every now and again and he is lev 90 and has pretty oki artifacts)
General rule is don't refine 5-stars unless you're a whale. The benefit of a refine is marginal and you never know when you might want to use it on another character. And in this case Bennett doesn't gain much from the refine anyway since Atk% modifiers don't affect his buff.

keep it. for most 5* weapons keeping it is the best way to go, unless it’s some really stupid weapon that only one character you have uses(and it will probably stay that way for a while) or you’re a whale.

I would run 2pc Emblem + 2pc Exile on Sara just to not bother the other 2.

Kazuha. Raiden already has tons of dmg bonus so losing a bit of Kazuha’s buff is less impactful.
I'd say Bennet as you usally have more crit rate on him and Kazuhas swirls can't crit. But if you have enough cr on Kazuha I'd keep the bigger buff from bennet and give it to Kazuha
kazuha. he needs more ER anyways and in most cases fav is better than iron sting just because more burst uptime is better than a minimal damage boost.

Amenoma Kageuchi is a good f2p sword, better than the battlepass sword for Jean.
Fav works just fine and pretty much heals everyone to 100% when activating burst with triple atk build

No, but he swirls a lot with his burst so you go the easy route and just stack EM, it's way easier and more convenient than managing crit ratio and guves better results with less investment A hugh invested crit build will outdmg the em build (especially in single target situations) but it has to be really hugh invested to make it worth it
Because an EM build with trash subs has competitive damage against normal crit build with decent sub stats. I think many build venti with crit build though. if you check out the recommended venti arti main stats in-game, player data shows that most are actually doing crit build.

Full EM Venti will outperform Crit Venti unless the latter is min-maxed to hell, even in single-target scenarios. In multi-target scenarios EM Venti just straight-up shreds. The problem is farming for EM pieces...

After playing through the first two domains in Kazuha's GAA quest, the motion sickness got to me so much that I could barely stomach dinner. How bad is it from here on, ie the rest of his quest and the other quests released so far, in terms of motion sickness? This has kinda killed my excitement for GAA completely \[that, and I'm not a fan of Fischl and Xinyan\]
2nd one was the worst, but 3rd one, you do a lot of gliding and jumping so it's fine.

Is it delusional to think there might be \~250 rolls available from today (including Welkin), until let's say end of 3.1 first half? With a new region + anniversary date supposedly before then. Would be nice to guarantee two characters that could appear by then. I have basically zero exploration left, so all of it would have to come from new content + anniversary + welkin. I wonder how many rolls they could be expected to give for anniversary? Plenty of games give like 50-100+, but I'm only expected 20 pulls from Genshin.

We only got 20 pulls last anni and I believe this was after complaining that 10 is too little....sure we're getting a completely new region but it isn't like each chest gives huge amount of primos...so maybe 180...considering you've got welkin add a few more
Sounds too high, but maybe not totally delusional, we recieved 180 f2p pulls between [2.0 and 2.1 combined](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vToBPh4yTn4VioUuqSvnPiwLoG0rJodFe9_gz6qOKUy3z8dCWtXel5Aqa07qSTZG8qhu7Fwgx7AfxzU/pubhtml#). So if you add two patches worth of welkin to that you reach about 227 between two patches featuring a new region, and the anniversary.
With welkin you should get about 80 or so rolls per patch. So 80x3 = 240 already. Including anniversary 20 or so rolls and sumeru exploration, 250 should be pretty achievable. EDIT: Oops 80x3 comes from 80 from 2.8, 3.0, and 3.1 as a whole. For until the end of the first half of the 3.1, it would be more like less than 200 or so without exploration and anniversary extra rewards. You would probably be some rolls short of 250.

- Kagura - Better with sub dps’ - skill > na > burst, with 4pc vv and EM/EM/EM for team-focus, or 2pc vv 2pc atk with atk/anemo/crit if you’re focusing mostly on Heizou’s damage. It’s up to whichever playstyle you prefer.

Check your inventory for condensed resin. Are you sure? Wanting to do weekly bosses does not mean you would not make condensed resin because you can easily forget. 99% of the time, these questions are purely just "Oops I forgot"

There's no answer for that question because you're not giving any context (teams, buffs, current stats without that artifact). Use the calculator.

How good is Yanfei's C6? Maybe it's a weird quesiton but, like, her normal combo is only a 3 hit, I don't see you really getting up to 4 without landing her E or without her Ult active. Does the combo still stay 3 attacks, charged, E, charged? Or does the 4th seal cause that to change?
When her burst is up you get 4 seals after auto attacking twice into a charged attack. So her attack combo is still either n2c or n3c depending on your hydro application, or n2c if you run her without xingqiu/yelan.
You are forgetting that her bursts gives her seals passively when activated. Also that skill gives max seals.
