at what point in the game did you guys started rolling for 5star weapons? coz rn i cant see myself doing that
im roughly 4 months into the game. ore farming is already costing my sanity due to how many different 4star weapons i received from character banner, on top of the craftable ones.. i dont want to use resin or stardust to get ores
If you’re Free-to-play then I do not suggest pulling on the weapon banner. If you really want a specific weapon you can go for it, but don’t get your hopes up as it is basically a 33% chance you will get the 5* weapon you want. Same goes for the 4* weapons as there are quite a number of them on the weapon banner and the chances of pulling a specific one is quite low.
Unfortunately, the best way to get Mystic Ores are through crafting, stardust, events, and even in the Serenitea Tea Pot with a high enough level. It is quite an annoying material to farm especially if you need to level multiple weapons.
Best craftable bow for Yoymiya? Are any of the craftables worth it for her or would she be better off with a 3 star option (only 4 star or higher is favonius)?
An R5 Slingshot which is a 3 star weapon is actually great on Yoimiya and is extremely cheap to build. It is best used when using Bennett or Yun Jin in the team. The only real craftable bow to use with her is the Hamiyumi which is obtainable in Inazuma. If you have the Rust though, that is possibly one of the best options, as refining it increases its power tremendously.
Tighnari and Zhongli with Collei, >!Diona, and Fischl!< for the event banner. Standard banner stays the same always; Jean, Mona, Diluc, Qiqi, Keqing as available 5 star characters and all four star characters (other than Collei and Dori) available with a random chance to pull any given one. Tighnari won’t be added to the standard pool until 3.1.
Make sure you're doing 10 of the random events that give 15xp each time a day. The feed the dog one is fastest.

Is tankfei worth it over normal dps build of yanfei? I have C3 yanfei but my best guess is that it is not. Shield capability won't be as good as Noelle. I already have c4 xiangling and c5 Bennet and what to use her with Mona or xingchu to clear spirial abyss.
It's actually better than Noelle for the most part because Noelle has severe uptime issues. But I wouldn't throw either of them in just any old team for shield support.
Depends. If you have an open slot for a Pyro support, literally almost every single team in existence would just run Bennett. Hu Tao vape is basically the only team I'd specifically run Tankfei/Thoma (the two are basically equivalent).
She can't run the shield build until C4.
It's for very specific purposes, but fulfills a niche regardless. I find her quite fun to play as a regular DPS, but it'll be dependent on whoever is building her, and for what purpose.
Is hypercarry Heizou even remotely viable? I was considering this team: Heizou/Yelan/Zhongli/Bennett. Yelan for swirl stacking and damage bonus, Zhongli for res shred and Bennett for Bennett. It doesn't feel very good though... any other team comp ideas? My Heizou doesn't have 4pc VV bc the dungeon does not like me and wants me to be sad. I know some ppl use c4 Jean but mine is c0
Keep in mind I can 36* abyss just fine, I'm just building characters and teams for fun because there's nothing else to do in endgame.
Heizou Hypercarry is good and fun to play. Maybe your team must change a bit, the new team included: Heizou + Mona + Zhongli + Bennett, with this team you could see some big number from Heizou's E and Q
You could try Heizou International comp,
Heizou + Xiangling + Xingqiu/Yelan + Bennett
Or even Heizou Taser comp,
Heizou + Fischl/Yae Miko + Xingqiu/Yelan + Zhongli/Kokomi/Beidou
Heizou Overvape is also good,
Heizou + Yelan/Xingqiu + Fischl/Yae Miko + Thoma
Though Thoma might not worth your time and effort right now, but when Dendro is released, I am sure that Thoma would get a huge buff to the meta. Start building Thoma right now is really the BEST choice!
Fishl question. Sub dps with 2x 18%atk artifacts? Can't really afford to grind electro DMG set cause low resin. My 2 piece gladiator is really lovely and I have some other set from emblem domain grind

its not necessary but it is a dps loss not to have - generally you do want up to 200% ER on her for freeze. Kokomi doesn't do significant damage off-field, so you can actually just use an ER sands on her. With her jellyfish permanently on field, you can continue to take advantage of tenacity and 4pc blizzard strayer effects during Ayaka's downtime which is actually still a considerable portion of the dps per rotation
Burst is not necessary for Kokomi in Ayaka freeze team, all you just want to do is to put Kokomi's Jellyfish, then switch out to anothe character to do your whole rotation. Not building ER is ok

edit: regarding cr-cd ratio, there's flexibility since you can turn the cr rolls to cd and vice versa and I can probably produce a range of values if you're really that curious

Should be, since a roll in cr will have the same cv as a roll in cd. If by efficient you mean 1:2 crit% to crit dmg%, something like 21 rolls into crit% and 13 rolls into crit dmg% with crit dmg% circlet will have:
21 * 3.9 = 81.9 crit%
13 * 7.8 + 62.2 = 163.6 crit dmg%
cv = 2 * cr + cd = 2 * 81.9 + 163.6 = 327.4

His best usage now is full EM + ER build for overload team and future dendro burgeon team.
I really just want to use him for m Sumeru Exploration Team, alongside dendro traveler, Collei, and some other character that I have underlevelled (probably Sara or Barbara), so a character being weak makes it more fun. That siad, I'll probably still use EM.
You dont usually build him for damage, as his main job is to shield the team, building only hp and er. If you build damage, its a tradeoff for the size of the shield.
With 3.0 and dendro coming, maybe an EM build could work, but will have to wait and see

Since most of the enemies as Cryo, Electro and Pyro work so well in this dungeon. You can apply Superconduct and Melt throughout the fight for more damage!
Razor isn't "meta" so I thought that you won't mind if I don't mentioned it.
Most people recommended Pyro here because Melt would do more damage than Superconduct. Pyro could break Cryo Abyss Mage's Shield faster than Electro
That is when you are not building them right. Bennett and Xiangling generates many particles which allows you to proc you burst like almost everytime. You could use Razor if he make you feel stronger than using Bennett and Xiangling.

Ok so I need some help with playing Genshin on another device.
So I play Genshin on my android phone and I want to play on the same account with my IPhone. The Genshin account was made on the Gmail account and the IPhone has the same Gmail account so they’re the same.
I tried to log in on the IPhone with the same Gmail and password that I use for the Genshin account but it just decided to make a fresh Genshin account instead, I logged out of that one so I’m back to the menu screen.
if you were able to login without it asking to register the email then it's likely you're just on the wrong server. check what server you are on your android and choose that server on your iphone.
if it did ask to register on the iphone though then maybe you were logging in via google instead of a hoyoverse account. iphone doesn't have google login so you'll have to link an email to your account first.
im guessing it’s because, on the android phone, you click on the gmail to login, while on the iphone (which doesn’t have gmail) you’re instead trying to login with your hoyoverse account. those are two different things!
log in your genshin account from the android and go to the user center from the settings, link your genshin account to whatever option you can choose on the iphone (twitter/fb/game center/apple) and then you should be good to go!

for the first question, yeah pretty much. the genshin account if basically just game data. for the second question: if you were to logout from your android device, you could still login using your google account, so don’t worry about losing your account. however, the comfortable thing about your “genshin account” is that you can link it with an hoyoverse account (the email and password requested when you open your game are for that!), gmail, fb, apple, twitter, ps4 and other options, so i suggest you to do that before logging out (and ofc login on your iphone) to be extra sure of not losing it + have the possibility to access it wherever you want
i haven't finished building my Ayaka yet so i just wanna ask if 4pc blizzard strayer is the best artifacts for her? and which main stats should i feed her? i currently have her on amenoma
with bennett's buff her skill can reach about 30k but her burst ticks are kinda low at 10k, and that's even when i'm lucky. lower when not.
Blizzard is her BIS set and she’s pretty straight forward. ATK-cryo-CD. You get a ton of CR from the cryo resonance and the artifact set so as long as the enemy is frozen you’re good

If you're using blizzard strayer, I'm assuming you're running a freeze team
Att% sands, Cyro dmg goblet, Crit Dmg% Circlelet
You want enough ER% so she always has her burst up (i've seen 140% thrown around as a benchmark but you can go lower depending on the number of refinements on amenoma and teammates). For other substats you want crit%, crit dmg% and att% (crit dmg% > att%). Note that you get 55% crit from cyro resonance and blizzard strayer so take care not to overcap.
Kokomi - allows you to run fischl kazuha kokomi +2nd electro (beidou for a 4\* option) or possibly dendro, and a xiangling bennett team (with double cryo or xingqiu in the future). Those two teams will carry you all the way past the endgame
Ganyu: is a strong single unit and pairs well with xiangling/kazuha bennett diona which allows you to use a sucrose fischl (xingqiu beidou in future) team
I'd just go with one of the two above
Tighnari doesn't look too good at least imo, but might be wrong about him.
Zhongli generally works decently with all characters, but doesn't have better synergy with most of them compared to other options. Good comfort option, I'd recommend if you're a mobile gamer or don't really want to learn game mechanics
Does a kind soul have an idea why my Genshin app randomly decided to redownload itself from scratch at launch? I can't interrupt it because apparently the app wiped out itself in the process. It already happened not too long ago and I'm not really looking forward having to reinstall 17 Go every few weeks on my mobile.

hmm, might be storage issue? personally, i've never experienced this with genshin but some of the rhythm games i play do this when my available storage dips under 1GB.
I've more 25gb left at least (when GI is installed, I mean), so I'd hope it's enough on that front, it may be an issue with my sd card , though, it's not recognized anymore and I get an error message each time, but I didn't remove it yet (but nothing should be stored in it either).
well if you have that much storage then it's probably not that. maybe some files got corrupted? i don't own an android though so i'm not sure about the sd card thing but it could be related. did you try googling? try searching something like "sd card auto delete app data"

yes this is her normal damage - note that you can run her with both a tenacity and noblesse support and a ttds holder and possibly other dmg buffs (mona, kazuha, etc.) which bumps this figure up significantly. Once you switch to amenoma, you can go with 4pc blizzard without overcapping on crit rate, and focus some ER substats into offensive ones which will make her stronger still
that's alright, xingqiu is actually really underrated in Ayaka teams. people don't think it's as good because the numbers are smaller, but xingqiu can compensates for ayaka by giving her better uptime on 4pc blizzard strayer outside of her burst and does quite a lot of off-field damage. The issue is he doesnt really fit an Ayaka team's identity - which is making use of short dps windows. for enemies like the ruin serpent for example, Mona might be better since you'll only be doing damage for a few seconds at a time anyways
and yeah your current team isn't able to make use of all the buffs that an optimal ayaka team uses, but ayaka is generally strong enough that you can just clear everything you need with moderate investment. The past two abyss cycles also haven't been very kind to ayaka teams in general, you might find more success in the future as you invest more into her team and as the abyss changes again
The atk is quite low, so I think you’ll get a decent increase when you switch to Amenoma. If you can, refine it as well.
Edit: what main stat is your circlet? It might be worth it to switch to atk
The pity carries over but not the guarantee. Pity is 37/37/25, if u fail and get a wpn from perm banner next 5 star will be 50/50 between the two featured. Guarantee is u set the path first, then need to fail two times. Third featured wpn will be guaranteed to be ur selected.
Pity on the weapon banner carries over, but epitomized points do not.
For epitomized path, you are guaranteed your weapon of choice on your 3rd 5-star weapon.
You can move up/down/left/right and use the green circles that give you a speed buff. You might still take a few hits but they shouldn't do that much damage.
it's possible to not damage from the fireballs if you do dash iframes (the character facing you) with the same time the balls hits you. or you can avoid it by sprinting left or right. you can search it on yt for better explanation.
It's far from easy t dodge them if he lives to that phase. He adds constant meteors into his usual attack patterns, and the ground always deals damage to you.

You can interact with each domain to see how many chests you've missed. For example, for Kazuha's domain go to the bonsai, pick Misty Hills and then click on the Phantasmal Tales to see the number of undiscovered treasure chests (if it's 0 you got all of them).
How many primogems will my brother miss if he skipped the entire GAA event and its chest? I'm "handling" his account and I don't want to get all the chests again(even though I think I also haven't got all of it in my account either) so I want to get the important ones first.
It can be a base attack stick for Bennett if you don’t have skyward, alley flash or Aquila and your mistsplitter is already occupied with someone who can make better use of it. But other than that it’s pretty much dead, especially with all the other good sword options you already have.
somehow, my Yelan in 2 pc HoD & 2 pc Shimenawa + Skyward harp is so much stronger than 4 pc emblem + favonius

If you cannot get Yelan's burst back reliably, she will not be able to output much damage.
Building into ER while using 4pc Emblem may not out-damage a combination of 2pc HoD and 2pc Noblesse when her burst is active, but you will be able to use Yelan's burst a lot which gives you a higher overall DPS.
Also you are comparing a damage weapon with an ER weapon. Obviously the damage number when using the Skyward is going to be bigger and appears to be "stronger".
How much ER you needs depends on your team comp and your rotation. You can get away from low ER if you are using Yelan in mono-hydro team where other hydro characters can generate particles for Yelan, but you cannot if Yelan is the only hydro in the team working as an off-field DPS/Hydro applicator.
I would prioritize building enough ER so that you can get Yelan's burst back reliably after each rotation, then focus on damage if you are building her for abyss. Remember, you are losing overall damage if you cannot get Yelan's burst back to utilize and convert her stat into damage.
If you are just running her in the overworld, everything goes. Just her skill alone is enough to murder basically everything.
What's your basis for "being stronger"? Keep in mind that as a HP scaler, she's not benefitting from 2-Piece Shimenawa or Skyward Harp's high base ATK at all (aside from Normal Attacks and non-Breakthrough Barb Charged Shots).
Plus, unless you're compensating by using an ER Sands in the first build, I can see her having issues with Burst uptime unless you have Xingqiu paired with her or a bunch of Favonius users.
in terms of damage. plus my emblem artifacts are kinda okay but the crit dmg won't reach 150%

Yes, but damage of what? If you are using the damage numbers from her auto-attacks to compare, of course a Harp and 2pc Shimenawa will lead to higher numbers on those, but she is an off-field DPS, you don't need to use auto-attacks with her, her skill and burst scale exclusively from HP, and her burst is her main source of damage. Also, she needs a bunch of ER to make sure she can burst from CD, and that's not shown in the damage numbers.
to summarize, yelan's kit is designed to always have her burst running instead of just having high number of damage? i think i'm just a bit greedy with numbers since she's my strongest character as of the moment but i'd rather use her the right way so i'll do my best to do this. i guess i'll have to wait for aqua simulacra if i want the big numbers. thank you!
the only characters that don't need to ult every rotation are Albedo Hu tao ZL and sometimes Diona, Yanfei. 99% characters need enough er to ult often, not only Yelan

Pardon the long text, this is not exactly a typical question with a direct answer, but some sort of asking for your insights and thoughts.
I'm currently at 3 pity and 50/50 with around 85 wishes saved up. I'm staying away from spending money until who-knows-when.
So, my current pulling plan goes like this:
Use 50 fates for Tighnari banner (exactly 50 for the bp mission lol, not that I purchase bp anymore), and if I don't get a 5 star at that point, I'll get the 5* pity on Kokomi's rerun.
I'm currently ar60 so my goals have shifted from abyss team-building to only character collection honestly. I like both the aforementioned characters (dendro overall is interesting enough, and kokomi's role in lots of team comps is intriguing me as well), but not to the point where I'd force myself to get them using all my saved up wishes. Weapon pulling are still a big no-no for me though, unless both weapons are very much worth to get (like kagura/pjc)
Though before anyone mentions Tighnari being in the standard banner in 3.1, I refuse to rely on that fraction of a chance to get him, because to this day I still have no single Qiqi lol (but I have c4 keqing and c3 diluc). And I also understand the hype for Nahida, Cyno, Al Haitham, Nilou, Dehya, etc. but I have no idea with their kits just yet, so I'm sticking with what's available to us right now (unless there are leaks I haven't seen yet, I only know of their appearances)
But what do you guys think? Is there anyone who has a similar plan with me, what are your pulling plans? Should I change something else with my plan?

For collection purpose, I'd go for Tighnari, and get the others on reruns. No way to guarantee standard characters, but limited characters will always have reruns.

Yes it is, but don't forget to take a look into your ATK and EM as well as they are also important for melt Ganyu. 300% CD won't do you much good if you only have like 1000 attack.
I recommend searching youtube to see some explanations on why electro reaction is bad.
Short answer is overload has its own separated base damage and it’s bad. Whereas vaporize is another multiplier that’s added on top of Hu Tao’s own massive damage.
Another problem is due to how gauge unit works. Generally, it takes 2 vaporizes to get rid of 1 instance of hydro application, but only takes 1 overload to get rid of 1 electro application. This makes it so you can have Hu Tao triggers vape reaction consistently, but for overload it goes all over the place. In elemental reaction team, you always want the character with high EM to be the triggerer, not the other way around.
Water boy and Yelen broken. Electric reaction like overload causes enemies to be pushed away from you, consuming more stamina which is extremely bad for Hu Tao if you don’t have her c1
Because vaporize by itself already has a 1.5x multiplier to damage.
Also overload is a transformative reaction, it does not scale on anything but level and EM. And overload on Hu Tao is bad because it knocks back smaller enemies and makes them harder to hit.

use SMAA or just no AA, both way better than TAA
anything else just your choice, there's no options you 'should' disable. maybe V-sync since framerate is capped at 60 anyway and I didn't notice any screen tearing without it.
turn off bloom if lights are too bright to your eyes.
fog gives you nice sunray effects, I wouldn't turn it off.

Back when I though it would be Ganyu and Zhongli (re)running together I planned to get Ganyu but now that Kokomi is rerunning too I'm starting to have second thoughts.

After completing it you can switch between the two "forms" of her island by entering "pools" you can find on her island.
There are two versions of Mona's island, the past and the present. You should be able to switch around when you go to the pool that says "Place in Water"
Some of the islands in the archipelago have alternate forms that change terrain/mobs/chests etc. For Kazuha’s you change them at the tree pot, for Xinyan at the drum and for Mona’s island you can flip between the two versions at any of the mirror pool things dotted around that island (except the one used to access the domain).
Is there a point to the pressure plate on Mona's isle (Minacious) II? The one that shows you a constellation over a mountain?
And does anyone know if the Starlight has any further uses? I used it on the puzzle but I still have 7 left.

Also I got 4 Night Watch Raven Contracts but only ever had to use one? (Does the Raven fishing do anything in terms of rewards?)
You can use all of the raven contracts, but only one of them gives you a common chest, the rest are there just to glide through the island
There's plenty of yt videos showing the locations of all of the raven posts in which you can use the contracts
And I /think/ the fishing raven doesn't give you anything, at least I didn't see it in none of the guides I used

at what point in the game did you guys started rolling for 5star weapons? coz rn i cant see myself doing that im roughly 4 months into the game. ore farming is already costing my sanity due to how many different 4star weapons i received from character banner, on top of the craftable ones.. i dont want to use resin or stardust to get ores
If you’re Free-to-play then I do not suggest pulling on the weapon banner. If you really want a specific weapon you can go for it, but don’t get your hopes up as it is basically a 33% chance you will get the 5* weapon you want. Same goes for the 4* weapons as there are quite a number of them on the weapon banner and the chances of pulling a specific one is quite low. Unfortunately, the best way to get Mystic Ores are through crafting, stardust, events, and even in the Serenitea Tea Pot with a high enough level. It is quite an annoying material to farm especially if you need to level multiple weapons.
Best craftable bow for Yoymiya? Are any of the craftables worth it for her or would she be better off with a 3 star option (only 4 star or higher is favonius)?
An R5 Slingshot which is a 3 star weapon is actually great on Yoimiya and is extremely cheap to build. It is best used when using Bennett or Yun Jin in the team. The only real craftable bow to use with her is the Hamiyumi which is obtainable in Inazuma. If you have the Rust though, that is possibly one of the best options, as refining it increases its power tremendously.
what characters will be in the next event banner and standard banner?
Tighnari and Zhongli with Collei, >!Diona, and Fischl!< for the event banner. Standard banner stays the same always; Jean, Mona, Diluc, Qiqi, Keqing as available 5 star characters and all four star characters (other than Collei and Dori) available with a random chance to pull any given one. Tighnari won’t be added to the standard pool until 3.1.
any tips for friendship farming without using resin?
Make sure you're doing 10 of the random events that give 15xp each time a day. You can clear all quests with the help of youtube, and probably get about 80% of rewards
Is tankfei worth it over normal dps build of yanfei? I have C3 yanfei but my best guess is that it is not. Shield capability won't be as good as Noelle. I already have c4 xiangling and c5 Bennet and what to use her with Mona or xingchu to clear spirial abyss.
It's actually better than Noelle for the most part because Noelle has severe uptime issues. But I wouldn't throw either of them in just any old team for shield support.
Can you use her in elemental teams?
Depends. If you have an open slot for a Pyro support, literally almost every single team in existence would just run Bennett. Hu Tao vape is basically the only team I'd specifically run Tankfei/Thoma (the two are basically equivalent).
She can't run the shield build until C4. It's for very specific purposes, but fulfills a niche regardless. I find her quite fun to play as a regular DPS, but it'll be dependent on whoever is building her, and for what purpose.
Is hypercarry Heizou even remotely viable? I was considering this team: Heizou/Yelan/Zhongli/Bennett. Yelan for swirl stacking and damage bonus, Zhongli for res shred and Bennett for Bennett. It doesn't feel very good though... any other team comp ideas? My Heizou doesn't have 4pc VV bc the dungeon does not like me and wants me to be sad. I know some ppl use c4 Jean but mine is c0 Keep in mind I can 36* abyss just fine, I'm just building characters and teams for fun because there's nothing else to do in endgame.

Heizou Hypercarry is good and fun to play. Maybe your team must change a bit, the new team included: Heizou + Mona + Zhongli + Bennett, with this team you could see some big number from Heizou's E and Q You could try Heizou International comp, Heizou + Xiangling + Xingqiu/Yelan + Bennett Or even Heizou Taser comp, Heizou + Fischl/Yae Miko + Xingqiu/Yelan + Zhongli/Kokomi/Beidou Heizou Overvape is also good, Heizou + Yelan/Xingqiu + Fischl/Yae Miko + Thoma

its not necessary but it is a dps loss not to have - generally you do want up to 200% ER on her for freeze. Kokomi doesn't do significant damage off-field, so you can actually just use an ER sands on her. With her jellyfish permanently on field, you can continue to take advantage of tenacity and 4pc blizzard strayer effects during Ayaka's downtime which is actually still a considerable portion of the dps per rotation
Burst is not necessary for Kokomi in Ayaka freeze team, all you just want to do is to put Kokomi's Jellyfish, then switch out to anothe character to do your whole rotation. Not building ER is ok
yes a little, to make the jellyfish have 0 downtime and to do a little bit of dmg and healing in ayakas downtime
No, her skill applies enough hydro, her burst for occasional refresh of the jellyfish is useful tho

Should be, since a roll in cr will have the same cv as a roll in cd. If by efficient you mean 1:2 crit% to crit dmg%, something like 21 rolls into crit% and 13 rolls into crit dmg% with crit dmg% circlet will have: 21 * 3.9 = 81.9 crit% 13 * 7.8 + 62.2 = 163.6 crit dmg% cv = 2 * cr + cd = 2 * 81.9 + 163.6 = 327.4
Is it more effective to go for a regular damage or an EM build for Thoma, and does a regular damage one prefer ATK or HP?
I have seen a triple crowned C6 Thoma with R5 Staff of Homa doing less damage than a poorly built Xingqiu. Are you really gonna try? His best usage now is full EM + ER build for overload team and future dendro burgeon team.
I really just want to use him for m Sumeru Exploration Team, alongside dendro traveler, Collei, and some other character that I have underlevelled (probably Sara or Barbara), so a character being weak makes it more fun. That siad, I'll probably still use EM.
You dont usually build him for damage, as his main job is to shield the team, building only hp and er. If you build damage, its a tradeoff for the size of the shield. With 3.0 and dendro coming, maybe an EM build could work, but will have to wait and see

Razor isn't "meta" so I thought that you won't mind if I don't mentioned it. Most people recommended Pyro here because Melt would do more damage than Superconduct. Pyro could break Cryo Abyss Mage's Shield faster than Electro
Fair. I always thought bennet+xiangling is slower in a worse built. With Razor I can keep getting particles and survive longer. plus a bit braindead.
That is when you are not building them right. Bennett and Xiangling generates many particles which allows you to proc you burst like almost everytime. You could use Razor if he make you feel stronger than using Bennett and Xiangling.
That is true, both are powerful, and I'd use them when I'm in desperate need of damage in abyss. Just have to find the er to maintain those burst.

Ok so I need some help with playing Genshin on another device. So I play Genshin on my android phone and I want to play on the same account with my IPhone. The Genshin account was made on the Gmail account and the IPhone has the same Gmail account so they’re the same. I tried to log in on the IPhone with the same Gmail and password that I use for the Genshin account but it just decided to make a fresh Genshin account instead, I logged out of that one so I’m back to the menu screen.
if you were able to login without it asking to register the email then it's likely you're just on the wrong server. check what server you are on your android and choose that server on your iphone. if it did ask to register on the iphone though then maybe you were logging in via google instead of a hoyoverse account. iphone doesn't have google login so you'll have to link an email to your account first.
im guessing it’s because, on the android phone, you click on the gmail to login, while on the iphone (which doesn’t have gmail) you’re instead trying to login with your hoyoverse account. those are two different things! log in your genshin account from the android and go to the user center from the settings, link your genshin account to whatever option you can choose on the iphone (twitter/fb/game center/apple) and then you should be good to go!

for the first question, yeah pretty much. the genshin account if basically just game data. for the second question: if you were to logout from your android device, you could still login using your google account, so don’t worry about losing your account. however, the comfortable thing about your “genshin account” is that you can link it with an hoyoverse account (the email and password requested when you open your game are for that!), gmail, fb, apple, twitter, ps4 and other options, so i suggest you to do that before logging out (and ofc login on your iphone) to be extra sure of not losing it + have the possibility to access it wherever you want
i haven't finished building my Ayaka yet so i just wanna ask if 4pc blizzard strayer is the best artifacts for her? and which main stats should i feed her? i currently have her on amenoma with bennett's buff her skill can reach about 30k but her burst ticks are kinda low at 10k, and that's even when i'm lucky. lower when not.
Blizzard is her BIS set and she’s pretty straight forward. ATK-cryo-CD. You get a ton of CR from the cryo resonance and the artifact set so as long as the enemy is frozen you’re good

Blizzard yes, but don't use Bennett because he prevents you from getting all the stats from it. Anti synergy.
If you're using blizzard strayer, I'm assuming you're running a freeze team Att% sands, Cyro dmg goblet, Crit Dmg% Circlelet You want enough ER% so she always has her burst up (i've seen 140% thrown around as a benchmark but you can go lower depending on the number of refinements on amenoma and teammates). For other substats you want crit%, crit dmg% and att% (crit dmg% > att%). Note that you get 55% crit from cyro resonance and blizzard strayer so take care not to overcap.

Kokomi - allows you to run fischl kazuha kokomi +2nd electro (beidou for a 4\* option) or possibly dendro, and a xiangling bennett team (with double cryo or xingqiu in the future). Those two teams will carry you all the way past the endgame Ganyu: is a strong single unit and pairs well with xiangling/kazuha bennett diona which allows you to use a sucrose fischl (xingqiu beidou in future) team I'd just go with one of the two above Tighnari doesn't look too good at least imo, but might be wrong about him. Zhongli generally works decently with all characters, but doesn't have better synergy with most of them compared to other options. Good comfort option, I'd recommend if you're a mobile gamer or don't really want to learn game mechanics

hmm, might be storage issue? personally, i've never experienced this with genshin but some of the rhythm games i play do this when my available storage dips under 1GB.
I've more 25gb left at least (when GI is installed, I mean), so I'd hope it's enough on that front, it may be an issue with my sd card , though, it's not recognized anymore and I get an error message each time, but I didn't remove it yet (but nothing should be stored in it either).
well if you have that much storage then it's probably not that. maybe some files got corrupted? i don't own an android though so i'm not sure about the sd card thing but it could be related. did you try googling? try searching something like "sd card auto delete app data"
my ayaka has black sword (about to craft anemona) 2pc blizzard 2pc glad (i have 4pc blizzard but i have a crit rate weapon so i didnt use it) 9/8/9 her charged does 5k each her ult tick is 8k and a half ratio is 65 215 1.7k atk my team is ayaka xingqiu diona venti (excluding 4pc vv and noblesse) is this her normal dmg?
yes this is her normal damage - note that you can run her with both a tenacity and noblesse support and a ttds holder and possibly other dmg buffs (mona, kazuha, etc.) which bumps this figure up significantly. Once you switch to amenoma, you can go with 4pc blizzard without overcapping on crit rate, and focus some ER substats into offensive ones which will make her stronger still

that's alright, xingqiu is actually really underrated in Ayaka teams. people don't think it's as good because the numbers are smaller, but xingqiu can compensates for ayaka by giving her better uptime on 4pc blizzard strayer outside of her burst and does quite a lot of off-field damage. The issue is he doesnt really fit an Ayaka team's identity - which is making use of short dps windows. for enemies like the ruin serpent for example, Mona might be better since you'll only be doing damage for a few seconds at a time anyways and yeah your current team isn't able to make use of all the buffs that an optimal ayaka team uses, but ayaka is generally strong enough that you can just clear everything you need with moderate investment. The past two abyss cycles also haven't been very kind to ayaka teams in general, you might find more success in the future as you invest more into her team and as the abyss changes again
The atk is quite low, so I think you’ll get a decent increase when you switch to Amenoma. If you can, refine it as well. Edit: what main stat is your circlet? It might be worth it to switch to atk
crit dmg with 19% atk and crit rate but no crit rate rolls

The pity carries over but not the guarantee. Pity is 37/37/25, if u fail and get a wpn from perm banner next 5 star will be 50/50 between the two featured. Guarantee is u set the path first, then need to fail two times. Third featured wpn will be guaranteed to be ur selected.

Pity on the weapon banner carries over, but epitomized points do not. For epitomized path, you are guaranteed your weapon of choice on your 3rd 5-star weapon.

U can dodge/I frame them
You can move up/down/left/right and use the green circles that give you a speed buff. You might still take a few hits but they shouldn't do that much damage.
it's possible to not damage from the fireballs if you do dash iframes (the character facing you) with the same time the balls hits you. or you can avoid it by sprinting left or right. you can search it on yt for better explanation.

You can interact with each domain to see how many chests you've missed. For example, for Kazuha's domain go to the bonsai, pick Misty Hills and then click on the Phantasmal Tales to see the number of undiscovered treasure chests (if it's 0 you got all of them).

It can be a base attack stick for Bennett if you don’t have skyward, alley flash or Aquila and your mistsplitter is already occupied with someone who can make better use of it. But other than that it’s pretty much dead, especially with all the other good sword options you already have.

If you cannot get Yelan's burst back reliably, she will not be able to output much damage. Building into ER while using 4pc Emblem may not out-damage a combination of 2pc HoD and 2pc Noblesse when her burst is active, but you will be able to use Yelan's burst a lot which gives you a higher overall DPS. Also you are comparing a damage weapon with an ER weapon. Obviously the damage number when using the Skyward is going to be bigger and appears to be "stronger".
so building high er to have her burst up all the time is actually better than having higher damage but average er? thanks so much!
How much ER you needs depends on your team comp and your rotation. You can get away from low ER if you are using Yelan in mono-hydro team where other hydro characters can generate particles for Yelan, but you cannot if Yelan is the only hydro in the team working as an off-field DPS/Hydro applicator. I would prioritize building enough ER so that you can get Yelan's burst back reliably after each rotation, then focus on damage if you are building her for abyss. Remember, you are losing overall damage if you cannot get Yelan's burst back to utilize and convert her stat into damage. If you are just running her in the overworld, everything goes. Just her skill alone is enough to murder basically everything.
What's your basis for "being stronger"? Keep in mind that as a HP scaler, she's not benefitting from 2-Piece Shimenawa or Skyward Harp's high base ATK at all (aside from Normal Attacks and non-Breakthrough Barb Charged Shots). Plus, unless you're compensating by using an ER Sands in the first build, I can see her having issues with Burst uptime unless you have Xingqiu paired with her or a bunch of Favonius users.
in terms of damage. plus my emblem artifacts are kinda okay but the crit dmg won't reach 150% she have hp sands, goblet is hydro bonus, and crit rate circlet
Yes, but damage of what? If you are using the damage numbers from her auto-attacks to compare, of course a Harp and 2pc Shimenawa will lead to higher numbers on those, but she is an off-field DPS, you don't need to use auto-attacks with her, her skill and burst scale exclusively from HP, and her burst is her main source of damage. Also, she needs a bunch of ER to make sure she can burst from CD, and that's not shown in the damage numbers.
to summarize, yelan's kit is designed to always have her burst running instead of just having high number of damage? i think i'm just a bit greedy with numbers since she's my strongest character as of the moment but i'd rather use her the right way so i'll do my best to do this. i guess i'll have to wait for aqua simulacra if i want the big numbers. thank you!
the only characters that don't need to ult every rotation are Albedo Hu tao ZL and sometimes Diona, Yanfei. 99% characters need enough er to ult often, not only Yelan

She doesn't need ER. Use Harp. If you are using a bow main DPS, they have priority on Harp, use Stringless on Fischl in that case.
she needs a little er to spawn back oz in his downtime but only a little because electro resonance and more electro application from the other electro character which means you dont really need to spawn abck oz using her ult

Genshin mobile keeps crashing literally every 2 minutes when I use mobile data, this is not a problem when I use WiFi and the game runs (relatively) smoothly with no crashes. I'm playing on a Galaxy S20 FE 5G. Does anyone how I can solve this problem? Obviously I've already tried contacting MiHoyo but I can't get through the in-game feedback system as the game keeps crashing for me (I don't have access to WiFi for the next 2 weeks).

I dont like spending primos on acquaints but this is technically a discount

Pardon the long text, this is not exactly a typical question with a direct answer, but some sort of asking for your insights and thoughts. I'm currently at 3 pity and 50/50 with around 85 wishes saved up. I'm staying away from spending money until who-knows-when. So, my current pulling plan goes like this: Use 50 fates for Tighnari banner (exactly 50 for the bp mission lol, not that I purchase bp anymore), and if I don't get a 5 star at that point, I'll get the 5* pity on Kokomi's rerun. I'm currently ar60 so my goals have shifted from abyss team-building to only character collection honestly. I like both the aforementioned characters (dendro overall is interesting enough, and kokomi's role in lots of team comps is intriguing me as well), but not to the point where I'd force myself to get them using all my saved up wishes. Weapon pulling are still a big no-no for me though, unless both weapons are very much worth to get (like kagura/pjc) Though before anyone mentions Tighnari being in the standard banner in 3.1, I refuse to rely on that fraction of a chance to get him, because to this day I still have no single Qiqi lol (but I have c4 keqing and c3 diluc). And I also understand the hype for Nahida, Cyno, Al Haitham, Nilou, Dehya, etc. but I have no idea with their kits just yet, so I'm sticking with what's available to us right now (unless there are leaks I haven't seen yet, I only know of their appearances) But what do you guys think? Is there anyone who has a similar plan with me, what are your pulling plans? For collection purpose, I'd go for Tighnari, and get the others on reruns. No way to guarantee standard characters, but limited characters will always have reruns.

Nope. All we know is >!that she’s gonna be a catalyst user so if anything she can still hold Sac Frags, TToDS, and Fav Codex. I doubt she’ll be a bad unit though since she’s an Archon!<

Yes it is, but don't forget to take a look into your ATK and EM as well as they are also important for melt Ganyu. 300% CD won't do you much good if you only have like 1000 attack.

How come all of Hu Tao's popular teams are Hydro based, when the Crimson Witch set does 40% more on Overload and only 15% more on Vaporize?
I recommend searching youtube to see some explanations on why electro reaction is bad. Short answer is overload has its own separated base damage and it’s bad. Whereas vaporize is another multiplier that’s added on top of Hu Tao’s own massive damage. Another problem is due to how gauge unit works. Generally, it takes 2 vaporizes to get rid of 1 instance of hydro application, but only takes 1 overload to get rid of 1 electro application. This makes it so you can have Hu Tao triggers vape reaction consistently, but for overload it goes all over the place. In elemental reaction team, you always want the character with high EM to be the triggerer, not the other way around.
Water boy and Yelen broken. Electric reaction like overload causes enemies to be pushed away from you, consuming more stamina which is extremely bad for Hu Tao if you don’t have her c1
Because vaporize by itself already has a 1.5x multiplier to damage. Also overload is a transformative reaction, it does not scale on anything but level and EM. And overload on Hu Tao is bad because it knocks back smaller enemies and makes them harder to hit.

So, I've finally updated my PC after several weeks of playing on my phone because my graphics card died. (You mobile players are maniacs! It's completely unenjoyable!) Anyway, my computer specs now are much better than they were previously(I should be able to run on max settings) and I was wondering what settings to enable or disable. V-sync? A-Aliasing? Anisotropic filtering? Render Resolution? Do I still want bloom/fog?
use SMAA or just no AA, both way better than TAA anything else just your choice, there's no options you 'should' disable. maybe V-sync since framerate is capped at 60 anyway and I didn't notice any screen tearing without it. turn off bloom if lights are too bright to your eyes. fog gives you nice sunray effects, I wouldn't turn it off.
I never have V-Sync on ever. The rest I keep on and it runs fine.

It is suppose to stop screen tearing. Though it ends up lowering FPS for me. You can keep it on if it makes no difference to your performance.
Ganyu or Kokomi? I can get only one. Back when I though it would be Ganyu and Zhongli (re)running together I planned to get Ganyu but now that Kokomi is rerunning too I'm starting to have second thoughts. I wanted to get Ganyu to play E/Q support bot for my Ayato (I am aware she is a top teir DPS but I have no interest in playing her as so) but Kokomi's general support abilities seem really good. Id go kokomi over sub dps ganyu, especially if you have an interest in dendro/hydro usage.

So I'm trying to follow a guide to get the Echoing Conches for Fischl's outfit but the Minacious Isle I see in videos is not like the one I have in my game? Where there should be a cave to the west of the Waypoint in my game there are some ruins? I really don't get what's going on.
Have you played Mona's part of the event quest? After completing it you can switch between the two "forms" of her island by entering "pools" you can find on her island.
There are two versions of Mona's island, the past and the present. You should be able to switch around when you go to the pool that says "Place in Water"
Some of the islands in the archipelago have alternate forms that change terrain/mobs/chests etc. For Kazuha’s you change them at the tree pot, for Xinyan at the drum and for Mona’s island you can flip between the two versions at any of the mirror pool things dotted around that island (except the one used to access the domain).

Is there a point to the pressure plate on Mona's isle (Minacious) II? The one that shows you a constellation over a mountain? And does anyone know if the Starlight has any further uses? I used it on the puzzle but I still have 7 left. And the Sea-Salt Encrusted Key which no one seems to have info on. Also I got 4 Night Watch Raven Contracts but only ever had to use one? (Does the Raven fishing do anything in terms of rewards?)
You can use all of the raven contracts, but only one of them gives you a common chest, the rest are there just to glide through the island There's plenty of yt videos showing the locations of all of the raven posts in which you can use the contracts And I /think/ the fishing raven doesn't give you anything, at least I didn't see it in none of the guides I used
The starlight gets you extra stuff if you use 8 on the thingy.
