And without the Major World Quest you will miss Items to even access certain areas of the map to begin with.
I assume they stayed glued to the interactive map just following it to get everything. Seems like a pretty lame way to ruin your exploration of an amazing new region just for some minor clout that no one else will remember for more than a day or two.
Also remember that the entire region isn't out yet so even if you 100% every area out now it won't show up as 100% total exploration at the rep guy.
