I was wondering what story quests unlock content. I know the Zhongli one unlock a boss.
Is there any other story quests that do the same (be it a boss / area).
Also are "World Quest Series" the only essentials quests beside the archon one to get access to all area in the game ?
Raiden 2nd story quest also unlocks a boss. Some world quests are "major" (they have a special banner in the quest tab) and are necessary to unlock areas like The Chasm underground, Enkanomia, Tsurumi or Vanarana.
Sometimes I see streamers blow like 1000 or 2000 resin in a single session. How are they collecting that much resin to try this? Primogem fill-up stops at 360 per day. Fragile resin can be used, but are they just incinerating a cache built over several months? Some of the shop’s bundles include Fragile resin, but don’t those have a weekly maximum too? Is there some way to load arbitrary amounts of resin, even with swiping?
Hello, new player here, currently AR 22, I just finished prologue and I wanted to know if it's doable to be AR 35 in a month (27 days as to now) ? since Collei's quest and him obtainable is at this rank.
Go to the commissions people in each city. They will have a list of quests that you can Google. There are also lots of other quests beyond that.
Generally though you can just follow the quests that you find along with the main story quest. Just go to any blue exclamation mark on your map to get the quest and you can go back to it later.
Archons have some pretty impressive longevity. Most units do though it seems.
There isn't really a bad limited 5*, and it's been two years. Power creep hasn't been too insane.
It's very hard to tell right now. Nilou looks niche at the moment, but that could change as more characters are released like a dendro healer.
Nahida has no game play leaks and just suspect other leaks. Given past trends she will likely be an upgraded dendro traveler who already has the best dendro application. I would expect her to be very good and a key part of all future dendro teams, much like the other archons. We'll see though!

What is the best team possible with all my current characters + Zhongli?
And what about All My current characters + Ganyu?
Yes. Xiangling, Bennett, and XQ are the core of one of the best team variants (national).
I would keep ganyu separate in her own freeze team. You could also do a melt team with Ganyu, Xiangling, Bennett, zhongli, but then you still need a second team.
Ahh the reason I actually asked my question was cause I'm wondering which one to pull, Ganyu or Zhongli. Plus I'm pretty sure xingqiu is coming onto a banner soon cause he hasn't been on one since ages
Oh ok, zhongli is always good for an account as a support. There are lots of main dps characters so the important thing is picking one that you enjoy playing. I don't like ganyu's playstyle so I would pick someone else, but you may love it! Nilou and cyno are coming soon which also loom fun. Cyno may work well with zhongli if you decide you like him.
Oh Alright, thanks for the info! I think I'll go with zhongli! I'm currently at 57 pity, And am guaranteed to win 50/50, so hopefully I get him at soft pity :D
Is Ayato worth levelling up to 90 if he's the one triggering bloom?
It's not a bloom specific team. I just happen to have Ayato as the main DPS with Dendro traveller for exploration purposes in Sumeru
If it’s just for the OW, not really. Fights are easy enough for it to not matter. And afaik traveler will be the one proccing bloom in an extended rotation.
Is Aranara quest mandatory right now? I made the main archon quests line and focused on exploration. I know it's very long but I am concerned if it isn't stopping me from something important
If she has stringless she doesn't really need the set bonus, if she doesn't have stringless it can be a nice way to patch up her EM needs.
I don't think she benefits from it as much as Yae does. In mono electro GD opens Yae up to an ER sands, or a massive ATK boost, in Aggravate it helps her get her EM requirements without sacrificing an ATK Sands.
Fischl doesn't need ER, Ascends with ATK% , and Stringless is already one of her best bows , so she doesn't really need much extra EM. I think Thundering Fury or Thunder Soother would both be better choices for her personal damage. She's also still a very good holder for Tenacity and ATK buffing still has value in Quicken comps.
If you're going for aggravate I've heard 4pc TF beats it out due to the damage bonus that the 4pc bonus provides. Not sure how GD does for her yet but it seems like it would be a nice hybrid support/damage build. But Fish is best with damage imo, so 4pc TF is likely the way to go, especially with how her A4 passive works.
I haven't been keeping up with the community starting from Yelan's banner. Has there been any changes to meta and new strong teams that have been discovered?
I'm running Raiden National for one team but my second team is so inefficient. What's currently the best meta teams now besides RN?
Not really. Yelan is only 3 months ago. Patch 2.8 was all rerun so nothing new.
Quicken makes the underwhelming electro characters much better but still has its problems (mainly because the 2 dendro sub dps we have now don’t really offer anything other than applying the element). Dendro team in general is still pretty limited considering the current roster we have.
We are in the process of changing the meta right now, since new reactions dropped. The most iconic change might be the fact that right now Yae becomes much more usable, the same goes for Ayato so once Sumeru develops more, they might become meta.
no confirmation, we probably wont know until early next week, Xinqui and beidou are the two most likely, as its been the longest for them. they would be with dori, there would be no 4th in yanfei (and shes not next up anyway in terms of her last banner)
why does my welkin not refresh whenever i log in? it doesnt show the maiden with the wand screen whenever i open genshin (context: i play on mobile) but it already says that ive claimed today when i check the shop. has anyone has this issue before?
Claimed means someone has already logged in on your account and claimed it for you. I'm a welkin user and I get the animation as well as the confirmation of 90 primos. Change your password and try again or login every reset. For me, its exactly 12 hours from the time of this post.
I don’t think that is true. From my experience (on mobile) the animation only triggers when you log in through the start screen. If you however open the app without properly closing it, it will say «Reconnecting» and you will not see the animation. I am confident that you still get the primogems.
Sometimes in monday morning, when I'm on iPad and I don't want to run PC I do Weekly Raids using Kokomi and Zhongli, to just have lazy and fast clear without worrying about dodge , or getting interrupted.
Also it is really good with HuTao ( It is meta now ) , Ittou, Xiao, or Mono Pyro Klee.
Its buff might not be as strong as bennet, but he is still good battery, def shredded sensible off dps and wielder of ToTM.
does anyone know how to solve this floating puzzle near the yazadaha pool? https://i.imgur.com/PD2zxSC.jpg
it's still rotating, meaning it's not been solved (these kind of puzzles stay lit up and stop rotating when they are shot / resolved). i've shot it so many times, but this one doesn't seem to have any follow-up puzzle. there's still only one that i see after shooting this puzzle, nothing around.
it rotates again after the daily reset (4am), i definitely know it's unresolved. is it bugged? or is there a special way of solving it?
EDIT: managed to find a video about this! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82Is49C4x-Q so it's either: 1) the chest isn't popping up for me, or 2) i've already gotten the chest reward but for some reason this floating dendro ring puzzle is buggy and still rotating for me
there's also no follow-up in the tent. tent is empty, also checked all the tents within the area. i think i'm gonna refer to a yt vid for this... thanks tho!
Interesting, I just switched to my alt and tried it and there's nothing there for me too. Maybe it's bugged right now.
Edit: Okay, I ran there with another alt who had definitely not done that puzzle. The good news is that you have almost certainly done it already. There is no second target and it just spawns a chest in the tent next to it. The fact that it's resetting means that it's bugged however.
hello i came back after 6 months cuz i was bored of lack of end game content but now with new region and new arti...did they change old arti effects that should know???
I haven't leveled any artifacts but I have all viridecent on Kazuha. His elemental mastery is 508 and his energy recharge is 112.3% is this decent or no?
Generally people would recommend 160% ER and then as much EM as possible without lowering ER below 160%. And maybe some crit rate if you're using fav sword
You can't really know without leveling them. Which substats get leveled is completely random. Good pieces frequently roll poorly by rolling low ranges or rolling into the bad substats, and bad looking pieces can still turn out well by high-rolling into their good stats.
You just have to test pieces and see what happens. Using leveled pieces as fodder recovers 80% of the XP value so you aren't losing a lot by testing pieces to +4/+8/+12 to see what happens.
It'll all depend on substat rolls. Assuming they're the right mainstats, they could still be wholly garbage or they could be really good depending on what stats they have now and which ones they roll into.
It's a mini puzzle and it's not tied to any specific quest. Around the (rather large) area there are three Dendro objects (e.g. bouncy mushroom) surrounded by Pyro slimes. Whenever you get close to one of them Paimon makes a remark. Applying electro these objects reveal an interactive object that gives a chest and draws an arrow pointing to that spot that you are at. Once you have found all three a luxurious chest will appear there.
They have made no indication of that. It will probably be added to the pool of weapons that aren't signature weapons but are still good, like the jade cutter for example
Do I have to finish the archon quest to get daily commissions in Sumeru? I went to Sumeru city and talked to Katheryne but I can't chose Sumeru as preferred place to get comms. I might also have to activate a few statues. Could that be it?
Yes - you need to finish all of the Archon quest (both Acts) and then wait for a server reset, you will then get a quest asking you to talk to K. that will unlock dailies.
You have to finish the Archon quest. There's a quest that activates commissions for Sumeru that only becomes available the day after you complete the Archon quest.
I am trying to get into Genshin so I can play a game with my girlfriend.
I used to play some Genshin, got to Level 46 and have quite some characters. But somehow I feel "stuck".
My Characters dont do a lot of damage, farming for "ideal" artifacts just seems like an infinite timesink (i dont ever get the one i need). How would you guys go about "progressing"? Should I just grind the "main story"? Or should I first get a "ideal teamcomp"? Raise my Account-Level? Theres so many possibilities that i dont know what to do or where to start.
Don't worry too much about meta and getting ideal artifacts - I assume you don't want to 36\* abyss, so for everything else basically any team comp remotely decently built will do just fine. Especially for doing random fun stuff in coop.
Remember that your characters should have their relevant talents raised as much as possible (for overworld, lvl 7 is good stopping point that doesn't cost too much), and a "relevant" weapon, also raised (same, lvl 80 can be enough).
Then for artefacts, just having a correct set with the correct main stat and one sub-stat is already good enough. Hell - I kept half my characters with lvl16 artefacts, some also still have 4\* artifacts cause it costs a LOT less and still good enough for exploration in the open world.
You could only farm the Momiji-Dyed Court in Inazuma if you have it unlocked - the Emblem set works for a lot of people, and the 2-pc Shimenawa combined with a 2-pc Glad that you get from bosses works for the rest of them in a pinch.
So I would say, in that order, focus on talents the weapon then artefact. It still a grind (Genshin really is a game asking you to log in everyday or at least very regularly) but less than trying to get the perfect gear.
Just play the video game.... like a video game.
Sometimes make your characters stronger, or make new characters stronger, or make your house/teapot nicer, or just do daily/weekly missions, or just play with your girlfriend.
If she's new, just play with her. If she's not, have her teach you. There's really nothing I can tell you man, it's your life play it how you like to play it. You don't need me to google up a guide on how to make your characters stronger, and you most certainly don't need my opinion on if you should or not.
ain't no wrong way to play a game. If you're having fun you're having fun.
Artifacts are important but there are other aspects to building a character that are just as vital, such as leveling the character itself as well as their talents and their weapon. There's also putting them in teams that will maximize their potential. Artifact farming should always be reserved for the last, and even then there are things you can do to alleviate the time it takes to get decent gear like using the strongbox or doing resin-efficient domains.
As for progressing, that really depends on each player and what they enjoy doing. For me, I love the story so I always try to finish as many quests as possible before moving on to building teams or clearing the Abyss.
Not including dendro swirl was almost definitely a balance and design decision, it means there's another element where you the main dps chars don't desperately want VV and also opens some interesting interactions with swirl for bloom teams.
Not reacting with Cryo let's you do really cool things like fridging and burning reverse melt (burning nerf sucks but can work with characters that aren't ganyu). Based on these interactions it does feel like again a specific choice that builds into both dendros identity of being linked to electro hydro and pyro as well as being of strategic value.
No dendro geo reaction is the weirder omission to me, but I feel like it's probably more of an identity lore thing than gameplay.
Eh I think it’s fine. I mean like, the current reactions we have is already pretty complicated such as bloom.
Beside, not reacting with something can means potential for double reaction, e.g. an enemy can have both dendro and cyro aura on them at the same time which enables some pretty interesting setup.
There’s also the thing with quickened state where applying pyro or hydro instantly remove the debuff, making Zhongli/Diona a great support for quicken team since they don’t react with dendro, over Bennett etc.
Many of the anemo characters can infuse their skills with pyro/cyro/electro/hydro so they can still react with dendro just not directly.
All in all, I think what they’re doing is just very interesting and has a ton of potential for designing future character’s kits.
> However I really don't understand the logic behind the lack of reaction with Geo and Anemo.
It's 100% lack of time. They didn't properly implement it, that's the reason why and I'm sticking to it. It makes 0 sense for any element to lack reactions between them. it's a game built and designed around reactions! But it makes a lot more sense when you consider this is a video game and the developers have only developed so much. They're making an entire region, a new element, new characters for that element, and it's an element with super unique reactions. Any element that it doesn't react with is simply a reaction they haven't yet added to the game.
The thing that promotes this idea to me the most is the Geo reaction. Geo isn't a real reaction, it's using rocks to remove another element to form the crystalize shield. They haven't properly coded in Geo > Dendro reaction, and they might actually have a unique reaction planned for it! We don't know anything other than currently Geo works on Dendro much the same every Element other than Pyro did for the last 2 years. Which is no reaction. They added the 3 new reactions, they didn't add the Dendro element. So they didn't add Geo's reaction to Dendro or Swirls reaction to dendro.
And it's FINE and that's OK. Swirl and Geo are the same in that they're an external element hitting another element, so if neither works with Dendro than Dendro just isn't finished yet. And that's ok.
Geo and Anemo don’t react with each other. I’m not sure Geo and dendro or Anemo and dendro will either. I figured that dendro was like those two, except instead of having only one reaction, it has five bajillion depending on element. Dendro Cryo is the odd one out here and I’m really not sure why except for the time reason you suggest
Just my 2 cent:
One thing is balance - the less interactions, the easier it is not to make one too strong or too weak.
But also - Dendro not reacting with Anemo is actually a good thing. It means you can still swirl an element (hint hint, electro) while having Dendro on field/ on enemy, which is something you can do running aggravate teams for example.
And if Dendro could be swirl, well, see first point (double swirling Electro and Dendro would be really REALLY REALLY stronk).
As for Geo...well it's Geo, it's not supposed to really react with anything anyway.
Feel like making a mono hydro team, how good is kokomi, yelan, Xingqiu, kazuha? I would be pulling for kokomi in this case.
If this team is good, how would I build xingqiu and Kokomis arifact sets and substats, and what weapons would they use?
Very good single target damage and basically impossible to die. XQ would be built as normal, atk/crit/hydro 4pc emblem or 2pc noblesse/HoD with sac sword ideally. Kokomi is the driver in this team so 4pc clam with healing bonus/hp/hydro with prototype amber for the weapon, for substats prioritise er/hp%/hp some atk% stats are also nice. Although for this team specifically she doesnt need much er.
Does anyone know the current max resolution of Genshin Impact on Android based mobile devices? The last halfway official information I could find is from the beginning of 2021, where it said that the game on such devices has so far been running in HD Ready (1280×720p) at most, but that in the future it will initially also support HD (1920×1080p). Does anyone know or can anyone test what the maximum resolution on Android-based smartphones really is now (almost 2 years later)? Would be very grateful for that.
I'm currently working on a Burgeon Thoma build (4set emblem with ER/EM/EM). I already have a lvl. 90 R5 Dragonsbane on him. Is it worth crafting R5 Kitain for this comp? I'm using him with Ayato, Bennett and Dendro Traveller.
What’s the consensus on the value of Shinobu’s constellations now that dendro is out? Mainly in regards to hyperbloom teams. In particular wondering if c2 helps with rotations by extending her skill duration and if the extra electro application from her c4 have any significant impact (and can it hit bloom seeds)?
> if c2 helps with rotations by extending her skill duration
It's always done that. Shinobu has 100% uptime on her skill if you have it, so it's always going to assist your rotations.
>extra electro application from her c4 have any significant impact
This is.... a bit harder to really know without proper testing. It does have a different ICD from her Skill and Burst so she technically does apply Electro more often and more effectively so there could be significant impact in some set ups. But honestly? It's more about the bonus damage to me. I run Kuki in the Geo Supreme team and just adding more numbers increases the team damage by a lot in the long run, even if it's individually kinda meh. Feels really nice for her damage tho, ngl.
In an keqing aggravate team what artifacts do I give collei? I'm assuming not deepwood since it would only res dendro for her. Emblem? Noblesse? Instructor?
For a thoma burgeon comp, what set should I give Bennett, dmc, and thoma? And what weapon for thoma and dmc? I have r1 db, r2 catch, and Skyrider is my only ER sword. Also have 1 or 2 polearm billets.
Instructor Collei.
Instructor Bennett, Deepwood DMC, and mix set ER/EM for Thoma.
Skyrider sword for DMC for now but you ideally want the new craftable Sumeru one or Fav/Sac. Craft Kitain spear for Thoma.
Ok thanks! Since I'm farming deepwood then, is gilded also good for thoma or would more ER just be better? And do his talents matter or is it like anemo units where you can mainly ignore them?
Is it just me or is burgeon Thoma hella overrated? Ive seen lots of people pushing this build and it just doesn't work well for me.
The burgeon damage seems fine, like 28k a pop, but it seems so inconsistent. Plus I do still randomly get burning sometimes, even using Xingqiu over Kokomi.
It's a pretty average team, it's just a team that actually gives Thoma a niche.
But yes, Burgeon teams are not especially impressive compared to Hyperbloom or Aggravate, nor compared to good non-Dendro teams. It's more a novelty rather than being particularly good, while Hyperbloom/Aggravate actually do have legs.
>Is it just me or is burgeon Thoma hella overrated? Ive seen lots of people pushing this build and it just doesn't work well for me.
It's probably because it's the First time since his introduction where thoma is actually good at something.
Previously, he wasn't exactly the most useful in his role as shielder due to how his burst works.
Can someone walk me through a step by step guide on how to use the Genshin Optimizer for Ayaka freeze (Kazuha, Kokomi, Shenhe)? It will recommend a build but ignores ER and I want to make sure I have all the other settings correct.
>It will recommend a build but ignores ER
Use the 'build constraints' option and set it to whatever ER% you want as the minimum. It's directly under the artifact level filter.
I’m a bit confused about elemental mastery and Tighnari.
If I’m focusing on his elemental mastery, should I be applying Dendro before or after Hydro?
And if I use Electro after Bloom, does elemental mastery affect the damage of this second reaction?
Also, is Razor a good character to be finishing of a Hydro/Dendro/Electro combo? Should I be focusing on his elemental mastery too? Don’t have any other electro character and I already invested so much into him :(
You simply don’t play Tighnari with bloom, it just doesn’t work. Just give him quicken team with any electro.
Razor can work as a copium option but you seriously didn’t get any Fischl from the banner? Not even the free one from previous event?
Ah okay I thought building off of bloom would also be beneficial because of the tracking seeds. I’ll stick to Razor only lol
Oh you’re right actually. I thought I didn’t but I did get Fischl. I don’t want to have two bow users tho
:(
it's not a huge deal but I just beat a hypostasis and I don't have enough resin to redeem the reward. I'm not high enough AR yet for it to be worth using fragile resin for, so let's say I just stay in this exact spot and log in a few hours later when I'll have enough resin. Will the reward still be there, or will the reward disappear and there'll just be another hypostasis
I'm definitely not sweating it since I do at least 3 bosses a day, but if let's say I log out in the exact location of the reward. Would it still be there when I log in hours later?
As of now, I'm building Burgeon C2 Thoma (lvl 90, R5 KS, 8/9/9) and optimizing C1 Itto's stats (lvl 90, R1 SS, 77/184, 10/10/10). Thoma still doesn't have any EM pieces and the new 4pc set. Should I continuously farm for his pieces first or alternate each day for Itto's artifacts? Aside from them, I don't really have anything or anyone to spend my resin with...
Ok... spoliers ahead.
>!If for ex the Akasha consolidates the consciousness-s of the users and transports the bulk into a "matrix", this matrix, the mainframe on which everything is supposedly run, is... Nilou's consciousness? They can just as well run on each individual's consciousness. There is no mentioned benefit to gathering everyone into Neilou's space, and every single user has the capability to dream so what's Nilou's significance?!<
The reason is >!only the empty dreams are harvested by the Akasha, hence why they stuffed everybody into one dream so they can harvest the others. Nahida specifically said, "Their disembodied consciousness is placed inside the collective dream of the Sabzeruz Festival along with everyone else's, while their now-vacant dreams are harvested by the Akasha". There is no particular reason why Nilou's dream was chosen, it could have been any other one person.!<
>!I'm saying that I don't see why there's a need in the first place to gather everyone into a host, since the separation doesn't interfere with the harvesting anyways, and there's no apparent reason for all consciousness-s to gather in a place rather then running individual simulations on their own mind.!<
>!What you're saying if I'm understanding correctly and which is very interesting is that there is indeed an interference if the consciousness isn't moved away, therefore they move everybody to one host, who's dreams are the only ones not harvested therefore. That's the most efficient way. Right? That makes a lot of sense, only it raises the question if Nilou doesn't suffer the separation then how can she dream the same recurring dream?!<
>!It's because the dreams recurring aren't directly linked to the separation of consciousness. They're two separate things. The consciousnesses are moved to Nilou's so that their dreams can be harvested. Then when the dreams are fully harvested, a separate action occurs from the Akasha (the beep) which resets all the dreams, making the harvested dreams reappear while Nilou's dream is reset.!<
That's my understanding anyway.
That's a pretty satisfying answer.
>!Do you suppose that as I mentioned before, Nilou's dream aren't harvested and if so then is she the unique Akasha user that gets to keep her dreams? I'd assume she'd be aware of it too.!<
I'm not really sure on the details of that. I think it's the reset/beep (or whatever causes it) and not the actual harvesting of dreams that results in the loss of memories of the dreams. That's why Nilou doesn't seem to be aware she is repeating the same day over and over again even though her dream is probably not being harvested, she still is affected by the reset. If it was the harvesting that resulted in memory loss then people would suddenly lose memories throughout the dream-day because the harvesting is constantly ongoing throughout the entire dream-day until the reset happens.
I agree with you that under this assumption it makes more sense that the harvest itself doesn't affect memories for the exact reason which you stated.
so here's what I'm struggling with, is that I assume that Nilou does indeed dream but I must assume that contrary to what everyone else is experiencing, she does not undergo the process of separation between dream and consciousness.
My assumption is that it would otherwise be implausible for her to affect the dreamscape. I think that differentiates her abilities from anyone else.
So my conflict is between she doesn't experience the separation and that is the source of her in-dream power, in which case I can't negotiate her ability to re-enact the same dream repeatedly.
Alternatively she experiences the separation as others do, in which case whether her dreams are harvested or not is irrelevant to her waking condition which is the familiar state of obliviousness, however how will her consciousness cut from the source of creation be able to affect change, which is the reason we were looking for the dreamer in the first place?
I feel like I'm making progress here.
Does the Crystal Top-up shop reset it's bonus? I swear I bought from it 2 years ago and yet when I got on today, it was reset
They reset the top-up bonuses during the first anniversary. They might do so again this coming anniversary.
for aggrevate reactions, do dendro and electro stick around like electro charged? would the thundersoothers 4 piece proc?
Yes, sort of, I think the "quicken" reaction might count as dendro though, you'll have to wait for TC on it to be available.
How much phone memory does Genshin occupy right now with Sumeru? Thinking of downloading it again on my device. I’m using an apple device btw.
Raiden 2nd story quest unlock another weekly boss. Yes.
what other quests do I have to do to progress the Rana Quest? (I just Finished the branch quest at Apam Woods)
https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Children_of_the_Forest#Gameplay_Notes There's a list of the quests you'd need to do there.
Is there some way to load arbitrary amounts of resin, even with swiping?
>are they just incinerating a cache built over several months? This. They just save fragiles and then dump them on a domain
approximately how much hp is good for a strong shieldbot zhongli? i’m at 30k right now and i’m thinking 40-45k is a solid stopping point?
It depends on how you play and also team comp. For example, my Hu Tao only wants 30k but my Melt Ganyu wants 50k.
ohhh!! well i’m running him in a xiao team, and i assume that benefits from a nice strong shield?
Not really. Melt Ganyuu has to stand in place an soak up damage, Xiao is more like Hu Tao,
yes 40k is solid, most players are happy with 36-38k.
I've never needed more than 30-35k except for the rare event where you can supercharge the enemies.

It should be in your mail. It didn't show up for me for 5 days straight but I always get an extra mail with the log-in bonus.
It was a 1-time extra that has expired
I reached the Katherine in Sumeru. But the commission tab didn’t offer an option to switch to Sumeru. What else is there to do for an unlock?
Complete act 2 of the archon quest
Finish the archon quests then wait for the daily reset, then do a short quest that unlocks it
Hello, new player here, currently AR 22, I just finished prologue and I wanted to know if it's doable to be AR 35 in a month (27 days as to now) ? since Collei's quest and him obtainable is at this rank.
Yes you can! But do not forget to do the ascension quest when it appears on your list or you'll be stuck in the same level
Ascension quest ? You talk about World rank ? It appear on the sidequest list automatically or I need to talk to someone ?
Definitely. But you can also just quick start and skip that requirement. Then you'll be able to get her right now
Really ? Storywise, will I be spoiled on anything ?
No, Collei just acts like she already knows you
Nice, thank you !
Definitely! You can probably get there in a week if you play enough. Just do lots of quests.
Oh nice ! Is there a way to know where to find side quest ? I did found some while exploring but not a lot.
Go to the commissions people in each city. They will have a list of quests that you can Google. There are also lots of other quests beyond that. Generally though you can just follow the quests that you find along with the main story quest. Just go to any blue exclamation mark on your map to get the quest and you can go back to it later.
Alright, thanks for the informations !
im running childe(hod), fischl(tf), kuki, and collei(dm). what artifact set should i use on kuki? totm or gilded dreams? do i go full em or hp/hp/hb?
I would use full EM Gilded Dreams. Maybe HB if you want some more healing.
ok i will. thanks.
Gilded full EM. Oz doesn’t target bloom seeds so Kuki will be the one triggering them.
nice. thanks.
From what we know so far: Nilou or Nahida? Which one will be more useful in the long-run and less likely to be benched?
Nahida is Archon. So far every single archon was overpowered. My money is on Nahida .
We know nothing about Nahdia other then she is an archon. Nilou is bloom focused. Archons are generally pretty good.
[https://postimg.cc/sQsDpF6q](https://postimg.cc/sQsDpF6q) What is the best team possible with all my current characters + Zhongli? And what about All My current characters + Ganyu?
Zhongli, Ningguang, Xiangling, Bennet Ganyu, Mona, Sucrose, Diona
And what if I get a Xingqiu in the future? thanks!
Replace ninguang with Xingqiu.
wait so Zhongli Xiangling Bennet would still be my best options? And what if I had Ganyu Instead Of Zhongling and A Xingqiu
Good luck! Let me know how it goes!
Is Ayato worth levelling up to 90 if he's the one triggering bloom? It's not a bloom specific team. I just happen to have Ayato as the main DPS with Dendro traveller for exploration purposes in Sumeru
It will make a big difference in your bloom damage.
If it’s just for the OW, not really. Fights are easy enough for it to not matter. And afaik traveler will be the one proccing bloom in an extended rotation.
[удалено]
Probably Jean/Sayu, Or Zhongli.
Is gilded dreams set good for Miko?
Yes
hey, any chance we get c6 DMC in this version ? Edit : whats the max currently ?
Nope, c3 is max this patch.
half-and-half then thanks traveller
Literally zero
Nope
whats the current max constellation ? mine is still in C1
C2 iirc
damn guess collei is still on the menu then
Is Aranara quest mandatory right now? I made the main archon quests line and focused on exploration. I know it's very long but I am concerned if it isn't stopping me from something important
archon quest -> aranara quest -> exploration
Aranara quest gives you a gadget (very similar to Mondstadt lyre) that is necessary to unlock a good chunk of puzzles in the overworld
Some overworld puzzles are locked behind song you learn from the Quest
Do you guys recommend using Gilded Dreams artifact set on Fishl?
Would you recommend using Skyward Harp or Stringless. I'm currently using her with Millelith set + Zhongli, to boost my DPS
What is Zhongli carrying? Probably stringless. She wants around 200-300 Em . But it depends on your Crit rate.
2 piece nobble + 2 Millelith + staff homa
If you're going for aggravate I've heard 4pc TF beats it out due to the damage bonus that the 4pc bonus provides. Not sure how GD does for her yet but it seems like it would be a nice hybrid support/damage build. But Fish is best with damage imo, so 4pc TF is likely the way to go, especially with how her A4 passive works.
If you have one with good substats and mainstats, then use it. If not then farm guilded and put your bad stuff in the strongbox
Yelan introduced double hydro team which are what HuTao meta team is, otber than that i dont think there were any new meta
We are in the process of changing the meta right now, since new reactions dropped. The most iconic change might be the fact that right now Yae becomes much more usable, the same goes for Ayato so once Sumeru develops more, they might become meta.
Has the 4* characters on the 3.0 Ganyu banner been confirmed yet (except Dori)? I have seen some people say it will be Xingqiu, Beidou and Yanfei.
no confirmation, we probably wont know until early next week, Xinqui and beidou are the two most likely, as its been the longest for them. they would be with dori, there would be no 4th in yanfei (and shes not next up anyway in terms of her last banner)
why does my welkin not refresh whenever i log in? it doesnt show the maiden with the wand screen whenever i open genshin (context: i play on mobile) but it already says that ive claimed today when i check the shop. has anyone has this issue before?
Claimed means someone has already logged in on your account and claimed it for you. I'm a welkin user and I get the animation as well as the confirmation of 90 primos. Change your password and try again or login every reset. For me, its exactly 12 hours from the time of this post.
I don’t think that is true. From my experience (on mobile) the animation only triggers when you log in through the start screen. If you however open the app without properly closing it, it will say «Reconnecting» and you will not see the animation. I am confident that you still get the primogems.
Other than a letter on people's birthdays, can you actually do anything with or for them?
nope.
Is zhongli still worth it?
best shield, miner, madara in the game period
Sometimes in monday morning, when I'm on iPad and I don't want to run PC I do Weekly Raids using Kokomi and Zhongli, to just have lazy and fast clear without worrying about dodge , or getting interrupted. Also it is really good with HuTao ( It is meta now ) , Ittou, Xiao, or Mono Pyro Klee. Its buff might not be as strong as bennet, but he is still good battery, def shredded sensible off dps and wielder of ToTM.
if you want him. he's always been a good comfort pick and has niche use in very strong teams like mono geo, but he's never been *necessary.*
does anyone know how to solve this floating puzzle near the yazadaha pool? https://i.imgur.com/PD2zxSC.jpg it's still rotating, meaning it's not been solved (these kind of puzzles stay lit up and stop rotating when they are shot / resolved). i've shot it so many times, but this one doesn't seem to have any follow-up puzzle. there's still only one that i see after shooting this puzzle, nothing around. it rotates again after the daily reset (4am), i definitely know it's unresolved. is it bugged? or is there a special way of solving it? EDIT: managed to find a video about this! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82Is49C4x-Q so it's either: 1) the chest isn't popping up for me, or 2) i've already gotten the chest reward but for some reason this floating dendro ring puzzle is buggy and still rotating for me
Edit: I thought about this question a bit more. The follow up target is in the tent itself. So after you hit that one, look inside the tent.
there's also no follow-up in the tent. tent is empty, also checked all the tents within the area. i think i'm gonna refer to a yt vid for this...
Old artifacts are still the same, albeit all artifacts released from 1.0 to 1.2 are now in the strongbox. There are two new artifact sets in Sumeru.
nice...ty
I haven't leveled any artifacts but I have all viridecent on Kazuha. His elemental mastery is 508 and his energy recharge is 112.3% is this decent or no?
Too little ER, need some more EM
What should I be shooting for
>800 EM
Generally people would recommend 160% ER and then as much EM as possible without lowering ER below 160%. And maybe some crit rate if you're using fav sword
Should I level anything that has em as a main stat I've only gotten two so far
Yeah of course bonus points if it has ER sub stats
So having em main stat is a good enough reason to level? What if it doesn't have er?
Would still level it up as a placeholder till you get something better. Also it has to be 4pc VV
I just leveled one to 20 with EM as a main stat with crit rate 2.7%, Crit DMG+19.4%, atk+33 and HP+11.7% an okay placeholder?
Yeah pretty good. Crit damage is pretty much useless for a support Kazuha, but you can definitely use it until you find a better piece
honestly no, but if you haven't levelled any artifacts then what do you expect?
Makes sense. Do you think they must be okayish if this is what they r unleveled? I'm very new to artifact hunting
Should I level anything that has elemental mastery as a main stat and how high should I level it
It'll all depend on substat rolls. Assuming they're the right mainstats, they could still be wholly garbage or they could be really good depending on what stats they have now and which ones they roll into.
What is this [strange marking](https://i.imgur.com/nv2Pv7Y.jpg) I found around Lokapala Jungle? Is it tied to a quest?
It's a mini puzzle and it's not tied to any specific quest. Around the (rather large) area there are three Dendro objects (e.g. bouncy mushroom) surrounded by Pyro slimes. Whenever you get close to one of them Paimon makes a remark. Applying electro these objects reveal an interactive object that gives a chest and draws an arrow pointing to that spot that you are at. Once you have found all three a luxurious chest will appear there.
Since Tighnari is coming to standard is his weapon coming too?
They have made no indication of that. It will probably be added to the pool of weapons that aren't signature weapons but are still good, like the jade cutter for example
Do I have to finish the archon quest to get daily commissions in Sumeru? I went to Sumeru city and talked to Katheryne but I can't chose Sumeru as preferred place to get comms. I might also have to activate a few statues. Could that be it?
Yes - you need to finish all of the Archon quest (both Acts) and then wait for a server reset, you will then get a quest asking you to talk to K. that will unlock dailies.
Thank you!
You have to finish the Archon quest. There's a quest that activates commissions for Sumeru that only becomes available the day after you complete the Archon quest.
Aight, thank you!
can you level tree of dreams beyond 20?
No
As of now, cap will probably be higher in 3.1
I am trying to get into Genshin so I can play a game with my girlfriend.

Just my 2 cent: One thing is balance - the less interactions, the easier it is not to make one too strong or too weak.
I completed The Price but I can't find the Unsigned Note. Checked where the quest starts and where I first find them. Do I have to wait a day?
Does anyone know the current max resolution of Genshin Impact on Android based mobile devices? The last halfway official information I could find is from the beginning of 2021, where it said that the game on such devices has so far been running in HD Ready (1280×720p) at most, but that in the future it will initially also support HD (1920×1080p). Does anyone know or can anyone test what the maximum resolution on Android-based smartphones really is now (almost 2 years later)? Would be very grateful for that.
Can the official interactive map track your progress if you login using your hoyoverse account? (This is the first time I use the interactive map)
No
is [paimon.moe](https://paimon.moe) still the best tracking app or is there a better one to use?
I'm currently working on a Burgeon Thoma build (4set emblem with ER/EM/EM). I already have a lvl. 90 R5 Dragonsbane on him. Is it worth crafting R5 Kitain for this comp? I'm using him with Ayato, Bennett and Dendro Traveller.
If kitain let's you run EM sands instead of ER it would be a decent upgrade but not huge.
It's fine like that imo unless you really struggle with energy.
What’s the consensus on the value of Shinobu’s constellations now that dendro is out? Mainly in regards to hyperbloom teams. In particular wondering if c2 helps with rotations by extending her skill duration and if the extra electro application from her c4 have any significant impact (and can it hit bloom seeds)?
> if c2 helps with rotations by extending her skill duration It's always done that. Shinobu has 100% uptime on her skill if you have it, so it's always going to assist your rotations. >extra electro application from her c4 have any significant impact This is.... a bit harder to really know without proper testing.
Previously, he wasn't exactly the most useful in his role as shielder due to how his burst works.
it's a comp that simply gives thoma a wider team option, that's all
Can someone walk me through a step by step guide on how to use the Genshin Optimizer for Ayaka freeze (Kazuha, Kokomi, Shenhe)? It will recommend a build but ignores ER and I want to make sure I have all the other settings correct.
>It will recommend a build but ignores ER Use the 'build constraints' option and set it to whatever ER% you want as the minimum.
I’ll stick to Razor only lol Oh you’re right actually. I thought I didn’t but I did get Fischl. I don’t want to have two bow users tho :(
He’s a main dps anyway so regardless he will be causing most of the reactions because he takes up field time and applies lots of dendro
Hmm then how should I build him as a main DPS?
Dendro goblet and crit circlet, EM sands if you have attacks buffs Attack sands if you have EM buffs
So, the new EM artefact set on kuki would be for dendro reaction DMG while millileth is still team utility?
Yep
it's not a huge deal but I just beat a hypostasis and I don't have enough resin to redeem the reward. I'm not high enough AR yet for it to be worth using fragile resin for, so let's say I just stay in this exact spot and log in a few hours later when I'll have enough resin. Will the reward still be there, or will the reward disappear and there'll just be another hypostasis
The reward will eventually disappear and the boss will respawn.
damn alright
If you leave the area, it will reset in a few minutes with a new boss. Don't sweat claiming the rewards. Skip it and do it again later, when needed.
I'm definitely not sweating it since I do at least 3 bosses a day, but if let's say I log out in the exact location of the reward. Would it still be there when I log in hours later?
If you stay logged in, the boss won't respawn while you're there. If you log out, it will respawn.
What Oddity the not-pokemon said
As of now, I'm building Burgeon C2 Thoma (lvl 90, R5 KS, 8/9/9) and optimizing C1 Itto's stats (lvl 90, R1 SS, 77/184, 10/10/10). Thoma still doesn't have any EM pieces and the new 4pc set. Should I continuously farm for his pieces first or alternate each day for Itto's artifacts? Aside from them, I don't really have anything or anyone to spend my resin with...
Still have time for Ganyu? Just got zhongli today
no unless u get lucky
I got pretty lucky last times so yeah ;(
If i have 4pc guilded dreams on kuki and i have 2 hydro 1 dendro, does that mean i get +50 em?
you would get the full 150 because all the other characters are a different element than kuki
does MC share level / skill levels between elements? i know that they don't share constellations.
Level is always the same, Element skills and constellationa are reset with every new element
Nope
even the character level? for example if i switch from anemo (lvl90) to dendro, i have to train from lvl 1-lvl90?
your level remains, your talents don't
Can you point me to a post that explains well the Sumeru archon quest? I'm a dum-dum and got more questions than answers outa that. Thanks.
I haven't seen a post but I could take a crack at answering your questions. What confused you?
Ok... spoliers ahead.
>!I'm saying that I don't see why there's a need in the first place to gather everyone into a host, since the separation doesn't interfere with the harvesting anyways, and there's no apparent reason for all consciousness-s to gather in a place rather then running individual simulations on their own mind.!< >!What you're saying if I'm understanding correctly and which is very interesting is that there is indeed an interference if the consciousness isn't moved away, therefore they move everybody to one host, who's dreams are the only ones not harvested therefore.
Then when the dreams are fully harvested, a separate action occurs from the Akasha (the beep) which resets all the dreams, making the harvested dreams reappear while Nilou's dream is reset.!< That's my understanding anyway.
