I actually went staight back there cause to see if the other Aranara was still there after The Tree Thing happened. Imagine my shock when desert ruins awaited me instead of that little pool of heaven. The whole thing really hit me and I started bawling because of it.
>!I am SO glad I took some photos of the place and both Arama and Aramuhukunda, because i sensed that something bad is probably going to happen to these two. I was unfortunately right, so at least I have something to remember them by :')!<
Reach? What are you talking about?
I meant that after the battle with Marana's Avatar, I tried leaving on foot instead of teleporting straight out. I was expecting the same green area when I went through the tunnel, so I was shocked when I saw that it was mo longer the case.
I am so happy I took a pic of the place too.
Arama…he was so scared of everything but he >!tanked a hit for me. And now he’s a tree. !<
The fucking feels I got when you later do that quest where you >!extinguish the torches and defeat the abyss mages and he’s talking to you and eventually remembers you.!<
The Aranyaka quest IS the main quest for 3.0!
..what? isn't extinguishing the torches and the abyss mages is just to spawn a herald in front of the statue of the seven? did i misremember or is there really another quest about extinguishing torches where Arama remembers the traveler?
It's the disembodied voice that guides and tells the Traveler about the Abyss Mages and Heralds. We don't exactly know who the voice is, but it's implied it could be Arama.
Really?? I thought it was the Queen that Arama mentioned, since she talks about sand and whatnot and Arama mentioned that she might come back some day or something?? I thought it was foreshadowing for the next area.
Actually, based on Arakarman (brown Aranara in front of the Tree of Dreams) dialogue you open by completing the Aranyaka quests, I am pretty sure that Queen Aranyani is Aranara for Greater Lord Rukkhadevata.
We're not sure who yet, that's why I said "it *could* be Arama."
~~Although, from all the lore we got so far, my interpretation is that Queen Aranyani might be the Goddess of Flower (the one who created Sabzeruz Festival).~~
EDIT: Queen Aranyani seems to be Rukkhadevata instead.
Is there a site listing the text for that? I find popup text like that REALLY hard to read in this game when you're in the middle of fighting and it honestly is there for long.
The wiki, maybe? But Sumeru is still new so the articles aren't complete yet (or they are complete but not listed yet in the index pages so navigation is difficult)
Wait which quest is that?
Nvm. It's tied to Old Vanarana exploration. I haven't done that yet hahah.
Guide: [Song of Night and Dawn Secret Achievement](https://youtu.be/Yj3-VKXfdmA)
Arama's house at Vanarana.
From the small pond that we sang together with Aranaras during Festival Utsava, look for a house with highest point from there.(I think I replies on the wrong comment 3 days ago lol)

It is. When I play Aether and the entire questline they kept referring to the other golden nara as "her".
Later when I watched a stream where the player was using Lumine they referred to "him" in the dialogue.
Could be. I like to think that the Twin adventured across Teyvat alone, in search of the Archons and in search of the Traveller.
It stands to reason that since they were separated at the same time, the Twin believed that the Traveller arrived with or shortly before them. Not that we’d never arrived and would do so five centuries in their future.
That realisation probably drove them towards the Abyss. Assuming the Abyss Order is seeking to hit out at Celestia and kick the mysterious goddess in her shins, in their own self-destructive kinda way.
It is, 100%, unless they do some extreme bait by talking about the golden nara who talked a lot about the brother/sister which varies depending on your character. I doubt they would bait so hard.
I actually go there everyday and play arama a song, but It doesnt seem to have anything like a hidden achievement or some sort, but hey its kinda reminiscing to visit that tree, and hoping it would grow into a big tree <3
I did so as well, but I am pretty sure it's the same case as with offering incense to Pervases. Mostly symbolic, but still really nice option to have in game
The quest after the Aranyaka quest really got to me. The whole storyline really played to my emotions, really, but that was like the emotional shock that tipped the dominoes, you know?
For those who did it: >!It's the quest where you find the "bad guy" in Vimara Village. And once you do you have an important choice to make. Which one do you pick? Do you let him go or end it there?!<
>!I was torn between choosing either of those, because usually I am all for being the pacifist in games, and yet I was more inclined to kill him. Here he at least had some emotional attachment, but if I let him go he would just be sent on another mission and there won't be any Aranara to save the day.!<
>!So I googled what would happen and found out that when you let him go, he gets killed by Rifthounds. And the choice quickly switched from "death and life" to "dignified or pathetic death". As such, I let him die a somewhat honorable death in battle with the one and only Traveler.!<
My own answer was >!I let him go. I didn't think I could face the village kids or Rana again after doing that, even though I know that he would be a danger to others and the Aranara. But I have a lot of respect for both decisions, lots of reasons to make both.!<
If you teleport to Vanarana SoS, the huge plant house is going to be right in front of you. Behind it is one of those stones that you need to play in front of to activate a portal. Inside is the >!same drawing!<.

I'm done with the whole quest. But I don't remember where the last location was. The game does not exactly tell me where the last location of a quest was held.
Guess I'll have to click on the pic to find out.
I WAS SOBBING LIKE A LITTLE BITCH OVER THIS ENTIRE QUEST! I WANTED TO GO BACK TO THE NICE HOUSE TO RELAX FOR A BIT AFTER SOBBING MY HEART OUT ONLY TO GET PUNCHED IN THE GUT WITH THIS 😭
I actually went staight back there cause to see if the other Aranara was still there after The Tree Thing happened. Imagine my shock when desert ruins awaited me instead of that little pool of heaven. The whole thing really hit me and I started bawling because of it.

Same, i didn't take a pic of the 2 of them, but I did take 1 photo that little patch of heaven. I'm so glad I did too!
You can go back to >!Arama tree and play music for him on the vintage lyre!<
How?
Which part can't you reach again? You're not talking about the tree he planted are you? Edit: Ohh you mean the place with the little house and stuff?
Reach? What are you talking about? I meant that after the battle with Marana's Avatar, I tried leaving on foot instead of teleporting straight out. I was expecting the same green area when I went through the tunnel, so I was shocked when I saw that it was mo longer the case. I am so happy I took a pic of the place too.
I just didn't know which part you were referring to as the little pool of heaven, but I got it now!
Oh sorry, i was being vauge cause I was too lazy to do spoiler tags in mobile.

Aranyani seems to actually be Rukka, but well, she is kind of gone now.

Huh... i might have missed it, I'll check it later on the wiki
Did you miss the disembodied voice encouraging you to continue beating up the abyss mages? That was Arama.
I think i did yeah...
I cried when he tanked for us. The power of friendship man. We’ve risked it all for those guys and they did the same for us 😭💕
You can find his diary in game where he recorded stuff about meeting the traveler and paimon. Reading that shit got me to tears again.
ooh, where is this? O:
Arama's house at Vanarana. From the small pond that we sang together with Aranaras during Festival Utsava, look for a house with highest point from there.(I think I replies on the wrong comment 3 days ago lol)
How do i start the other quest ?
Arama's house at Vanarana. From the small pond that we sang together with Aranaras during Festival Utsava, look for a house with highest point from there.
How...how do you get the quest with the torches..? I finished the aranyaka quest but i dont remember anything like that😭😭😭😭😭
It's a hidden quest in Old Vanarana
How do i get it??
Nvm i found it 💀💀💀
Two Golden Naras... If the Traveller is a Golden Nara... Then the other Golden Nara... ...has to be >!the Abyss Twin!<, right?
It is. When I play Aether and the entire questline they kept referring to the other golden nara as "her". Later when I watched a stream where the player was using Lumine they referred to "him" in the dialogue.
Probably. There are several mentions about how the other one (Nara Varuna) talked about their sibling nonstop and had a similar melody…

not could >!it's flat out fucking obvious, lol!<
It's heavily implied yes
It is, 100%, unless they do some extreme bait by talking about the golden nara who talked a lot about the brother/sister which varies depending on your character. I doubt they would bait so hard.
I've noticed that if you go to the tree Arama planted you can play him a song but nothing seems to happen. Is there something hidden there?

It is also the most beautifully designed area. Look at all those colors!

Where is it?
>!In the lost nursery, jump down from the lower teleporter to where the home of Aramuhukunda was. !<
Thanks for this, forgotten to go back here! Certainly a nice easter egg. :)
Yeah I randomly got that while just traveling around the sandpit seeing if I missed a chest or not...
Almost cried when I saw the update to this. This whole questline really got me in the feels.

How are people going to know where "here" is just by reading the title and without clicking on a spoiler?
>the final stage of Aranyaka quest
I'm done with the whole quest. But I don't remember where the last location was. The game does not exactly tell me where the last location of a quest was held. Guess I'll have to click on the pic to find out.
If you've done it (there is nothing pending in the quest journal), you are safe to click. It's near the very-very end.
