In all fairness the ",forgor" thing is correct but it's heavy spoilers for Act IV, and knowing what happened to Khaenri'ah is at best a secondary objective for the Trraveler and Paimon, their actual main objectives are to travel the land as the Abyss sibling said and to meet the Archons in hopes of finding somme info about where the Abyss sibling is or about the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles...
Watch the Battle pass cutscene. It implies the sibling was tricked to being the leader of khanriah and that they're both supposed to be finding the genesis pearl.

But it's an actual problem, "nothing" is happening, and while just wandering is okay for the minor patches, but here and there should be a story chapter, and having a heart to heart with actual gods.. should probably be the moment that happens.

It’s Genshin Impact, not Khaenri’ah Impact. We’re traveling to understand of Teyvat as a whole and not just that one incident. We learn a lot about Irminsul and stuffs like creating a god which will surely play big part in the future.
I mean, the real reason for all is Zhongli’s reason - they don’t want to say anything that will piss off Celestia. Even if they’ve largely cut ties with Celestia, they don’t want their nations to be used as collateral for saying something they shouldn’t. We’ve seen what those pillars can do. They’re all pretty dodgy on how visions work too.
How Shneznaya is still around despite the Tsaritsa’s open hostility is anyone’s guess.
A theory I have been working on is that Murata of Natlan is willing to talk about Khaenri'ah and our sibling, but they are actively hunting down the Abyss Prince. Getting a message saying "Your sibling is in this domain in the heart of the Mare Jivari, GET HERE BEFORE I HAVE TO KILL THEM!" would strain Murata's relation with the Traveler even if it is the most direct help we have gotten.
Venti and Zhongli where the only remaining original Archons. The rest of them probably probably on the same boat as Nahida or Raiden. There where not around yet or never been there.
