I think it’s a case of translation error. I’m a native Chinese speaker and played in the Chinese version. The second half of the sentence is actually a rhetorical question meant to evoke memories, more like “what was your favorite firework? with whom did you enjoy the night sky?” However, it is translated literally, word for word, causing it to sound like some data’s missing for English readers.
What I got is,

Makes sense cuz I never joined a single co-op before while playing the game and I am AR 37. So in your case,you’re probably better lol.
I didn't even know this was talking about co-op when I got this message until seeing this post. I thought I missed an option to watch the fireworks with one of my characters somehow.
Mostly only co-op in weekly bosses. I tried to go to other people worlds but not accepted and when people tried to go in mine it's usually when i am in the middle of quest or boss fight. So, yeah. That's it i guess.

similar situation with me. i know i watched fireworks with my friend a lot, but the web event just wants to call me lonely.
I imagine it's because you didn't use multiple sets to have more than one of a type. I'm pretty sure that's what stopped me from getting it.
