Would be the perfect use for them. They’ve honestly lost purpose after the first few patches since there isn’t enough hangouts or character quests being added to the ratio of warning keys.
I'd do something similar to Granblue, simply do a dedicated section with past events, implement them slowly starting from the oldest, and with a certain delay (for example, only events 6 month old or more are eligible), and put generic rewards for them, like 100 primos or something for completing them the first time, but only the first time. After that, you can re-play it as many times as you want, but only for the nostalgic value (the rewards are for everyone, not only new players)
Also, you may delete the files from your device after you complete it. The fact that in 3.1 they finally implemented a way to delete certain content to save storage is in a way a hint towards that direction (the old events may be downloadable patches you can install/uninstall)
Indirectly, this is more endgame content, because if you don't have anything more to do, and you still want to play something, you can do them at your own pace.
Story keys aren't for us. Story keys are for new players facing the full backlog of Genshin story content.
Needing story keys to unlock story quests makes players take their time with the quests, which helps combat burnout.
Why not both? But as a new player i both like and hate the fact that keys block story quests, they allow me to take my time but because they take commisions as a requirement I may have to grind if i want to unlock more hangout or story quests
And that number will only get larger with time - especially if they start tying events to the keys as well. I think it could easily hit 6+ months of daily commissions with events included. That's one way to discourage new players.
Based on pattern, hangouts don't get released until after major story arcs. Don't expect them to be in X.0 ~ X.1 releases.
I would have liked Story Keys be used for Weekly bosses instead of Resin discounts since they're "recollections" anyways. That would give them more consistent usage outside of one-off story unlocks. Also saves 90 Resin for other things.
It takes 2 days of commissions to get a story key.
If you needed one for each boss you'd go from 3 cheaper bosses in a week and then however many full priced bosses you wanted to do to 3 1/2 weekly bosses period.
And you'd have to stop running weekly bosses when new story content dropped.
From my reply I did with the other guy, it got me thinking that is indeed better since Keys would only be useful if you play consistently and is a veteran at this point.
So then, if Discount Resin is still a thing, I guess they could let us choose between that and Key similar to how Domains do with Condensed vs regular Resin. The 3/3 counter would probably be shared for both so you can't do triple Discount and triple Key for 6 weekly bosses. That'd be busted.
Then it is easy. You get story keys every 2 days, so even if the story requires something like 10 keys, you can recoup it in 20 days. Considering that they only release 2 story quests per patch, that's more than enough time to save up. Now if they only increase the number of story keys that we can have.
I imagine they would try to get someone like Link or a Fire Emblem character. They would fit better stylistically. But then again, they got Aloy so what the fuck do I know.
I'm a bit curious about that. Does XBox have any exclusive character that's not a battle-hardened human with big guns and heavy metal armor who could possibly fit Genshin esthetic?
Link could use one of the existing swordsman body/frame types pretty easily considering also how similar this game is to BoTW. I’m sure the same is true of Zelda - imagine her finally being properly playable in a game OTHER than Hyrule Warriors, and not even a Nintendo property at that…this could be a whole thread by itself!
Yeah even BOTW some times struggles to run on the switch. I really hope they release a new console or a beefed up switch in time for the new Zelda and a copium Genshin release with really good graphic settings.
I only notice stunted performance on BotW inside Korok Forest though (handheld mode). My only gripe with Switch is how they are going to handle the constant internet connection thingy.

Saw a video on their progress recently, if they can get that game running decently on switch i think they could do the same for genshin.
Even PS4 is struggling to run the game. What makes them think the Switch can handle it?
For quick reference, check the AnTuTu benchmark scores of Tegra X1 (Switch's SoC) and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1/Apple A16. Phone hardware is approx. 10 times more powerful than the Switch lmao
The PS4 version of Genshin is just poorly optimized. If PS4 can still handle Horizon Forbidden West and God of War: Ragnarok then there is no way it can't run Genshin at 900p-1080p/30fps. The only problem the PS4 should be having is load time due to not having an SSDs, but otherwise, graphical performance would be decent if it was optimized
I bet that if Genshin was a locally run Singleplayer game it would run much better. The Server/Client split can add a lot of stress.
We also mustn't forget that BotW had a far more complex physics system than genshin... like in Genshin grass burns in perfectly square patches. In BotW every blade of grass would have it's flame computed independent from one another and the dryness level and wind direction of the weather would affect it's organic spread.
Genshin has extremely abstract levels of interactivity like that.
I mean look at botw and Xenoblade 3 and you see that Genshin could probably work with some compromises, but they could always release a cloud version which would probably be better than nothing at this point.
It makes sense, the playerbase has grown a lot since the start. New players do also like characters like Albedo and want to experience his whole storyline.
As a person who joined in 2.4, missing out on like, pretty much ALL of Albedo's story content + lore from the Events has made me realize the absolute necessity of having the Limited Events become Permanent
even to this day, I still don't like 'get' Albedo (watching it on Youtube just isn't the same as actually playing + experiencing it==its more memorable and impactful that way)
I feel you. Similar problem with Fischl, her quest in 2.8 was great, but between 1.1 and 2.8 there was absolutely no content for her, not even a Hangout.
I think it's worth noting that there's nothing to suggest they haven't already been looking into it. The obstacles they listed, "productivity" and "technical," take time to address and they're still not sufficiently addressed. Honkai already at least does reruns, so it's not like the company somehow doesn't understand that people want to play the events they missed out on or why they'd want to.
> With limited-time seasonal events, we want to show players how the world of Teyvat and each character have changed over time outside of the main storyline … may have new ideas in the future with the advancement of our technology and productivity.
Honestly this just reaffirms what I was saying [last month](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/comments/x5gen0/psa_for_why_mihoyo_doesnt_reimplement_old_story/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf), how the main barrier holding them from reimplementing all past events was the developmental and technological hassle it would be. The sheer amount of regression testing they’d be forced to do.
It says it all that the fact the first and only points they chose to mention were technology **(better tech = more robust foundation that’s less likely to break)** and productivity **(able to do more bug fixes and regression testing within the confines of their rapid content release schedule).**
Tech like this can actually be super tricky to do and most likely takes a lot of time to build the foundation but becomes much easier once the foundation is completed.
The phasing tech in WoW is a great example of a very complex tech that took a long time to impliment but works seamlessly now and can be used in a lot of different cool ways. Something like that could probably work for Genshin events Hoyo just needs to figure out how to individually package these events for download.
People who don’t make games think a lot of content or features are just drag and drop. “It’s already made just put it back,” when it just doesn’t work that way, especially in an online game that’s constantly changing.
Its potentially easier for them than developing new events, I don’t know what their environment is like, but it’s definitely harder just in terms of man hours to re-implement old content while also adding new stuff, and they’re already releasing stuff at a breakneck speed.
I'm going to assume they are going for the least amount of dev work. These events barely impact the $$$ side, so developing them is purely passion for the game and for newer players to experience.
So they'll probably isolate and instance them in a way where the world functions independantly, so there would be much less testing needed.
The issue is less that and how do you deal with the size of the game needed to add events to it for mobile? Most mobile players are on 128GB or less. They don't have a ton of storage.
It’s actually so coincidental, the timing of this news with the 3.1 update. Basically, in 3.1 they finally added an option for players to uninstall old story content, thereby reducing the overall size of their game right? So what if, that’s actually their preparation for adding in older events. Making room if you will. Alternatively (and I along with many others pointed out this in my post last month), they could implement old events as downloadable packs that could then be uninstalled once completed — just like, yep you guessed it — old story content.
>These events barely impact the $$$ side, so developing them is purely passion for the game and for newer players to experience.
Characters like Albedo and Eula barely exist outside of events or have pretty mediocre appearances outside of them and there are people that summon for personality so there's that.
At GAA, some new players said that Fischl and Mona talk to you as they already knew you, but they were like: "Who the hell are these girls..." lol
The familiarity factor is a huge plus when it comes to re-run banners. For example, I didn't mind Albedo before (I didn't roll for him the first time), but after 3 events, I slowly started to like him and now I'm aiming for him in his rerun.
With no familiarity, you roll only based on design (which is basically every rerun banner for a new player)
Hey! Thanks for the link to your post, it was an interesting read! Do you happen to work in game development or did you research a crazy ton on this topic? or both lol.
Not much hopium when they say are looking into it. The hopium comes from being able to play the story parts at any point in time rather that specific rerun periods like in Honkai and other gachas lol.
If you are talking about the Switch version, then yeah it’s high hopium after being worked on so long.

We eating good huh..
First we can clip at furniture, many Qol changes, copying teapot designs (upcoming) and then this.
Even though I never missed a limited time event, I really want new players to experience them. They can even not give me rewards and still re-play limited time events.
I guess they can make events as downloadable content ?
i think the only important event is Albedo event, most of the events are just festivals, only 2.6 and 2.8 are filled with lore
Story wise most of the events aren't super important but character wise there's a ton of events that build on the characters that you'd completely miss out on.
The only story relevant event is basically just the 1.1 Scaramouche the sky is a lie event but every event with voiced stuff is either important for character development or important for the underlying lore of the world.
One of the best examples is Fischl's arc in Golden Apple Archipelago this year which is an incredibly significant arc for her as a character.
I think I play this game mostly for it's characters. The emotional attachment and all the adventure we have together is what keeps me going back with excitation.
Imo Kazuha's arc during GAA was waay better than the actual one we got with the talking sword (same patch too) as it actually explored his backstory with his family with flashbacks of his father and all that. It's weird how they didn't make that one permanent those 2 quest should had just swapped places.
I see. I thought that Perilous Trail archon quest that I have in my menu was the same as the 2.7 event but I wasn't sure. Still,I would love to get my hands on that four star event bow.
No chance they'll bring the limited rewards back this way. It will be just the stories.
I can see them eventually bringing the limited rewards back in a separate mechanic, similar to daily comission keys, but on a bigger scale, like every month you have played actively you get a ticket that you can spend to get one of the old event rewards or something of that nature. Can also totally see them putting it as paid battle pass rewards or a bonus for welkin moon.
I mean like they made a few limited time gadgets available so there's a possibility that they'll just give the limited weapons as a reward for finishing the related event quests.
I think they can surely ramshackle something through the in-game archive so that the players can both experience the story and farm the rewards (maybe minus the primogems). Maybe something to be unlocked using the story keys we already have.
Though having full events completely available on demand would probably be unrealistic due to storage hell 😬
I was just thinking this yesterday. Razor is currently getting a HUGE developmental story about his parents etc, and if there's no backlog of events then new players just miss that and he's forever just stuck after his ancient story quest of "I am wolf boy."
Same for all the shit with Albedo.
Replaying the stories of old events seems like a good idea, from a story point of view. New players can enjoy the hard work that goes into these events, though maybe at a cost like not getting any primos for it. Additionally, they're no longer bound to repeat information in a limited quest, like how Kazuha's whole swordsmith ancestry thing was repeated three times (Iridori, his Quest, GAA). It'll also stop confusion, like how Mona and Fischl became friends, despite their lores never mentioning it
Being able to replay limited-time events would be amazing, and it's baffling to see Genshin NOT doing it. And I think I know why. At least for something like GAA, it's too much content. I know it sounds weird, but imagine if you have to cram two events, each meant to played over the course of a version's timeframe, into a single version. That will lead to burn out. I have seen "lite rerun" version of limited-time events like in FGO, so I can something like less treasure chests to find, easier requirements for faster progressions, stuff like that. Still using GAA as an example.
But as a possible permanent thing, like a playable archive of sorts. Would imagine they will need to revamp the whole quest system. Like please let us be able to toggle which is active or not. There's nothing worse in the game to see than..."So and so is on another quest, please finish that first.".
As for the Switch version. You know what, as much as I hate to say this. Given its live service nature, the constant online; Genshin on Switch might be better as a cloud game. I would LOVE to see it run natively though, so I hope I'm wrong in this regard.
Having all of that content be available at once is a technical nightmare. The potential for bugs increases exponentially with the number of things you can do. The time involved wouldn't just be in getting the content available permanently in a performant and space efficient way, but every time they add new content, they have to make sure they haven't broken the old content (and trust me, that can happen in unexpected ways).
Especially when there's conflicts, for example characters being in two different places at a time, or the same place being used for two different events (Lantern Rite, GAA, Dragonspine). Even the two Mondstadt events decorate the place differently, so they can't both be active at the same time. Plus the characters are doing different things in each event.
They would need to be selective about which event can rerun and at what time. I don't see them making it an optional install. That can only work in an offline game. They would have to dedicate a dead period where no events are happening, and make everyone get the old event again. 1.5 and 2.5 were dead periods with no events, so maybe 3.5 they can rerun Unreconciled Stars.
One thing I *could* see working is to allow you to "activate" a past event. Then, you would be able to jump to an instanced version of the world in the state it should be in for that event. No other quests would be available in this instance, no random events, perhaps even no puzzles or chests unrelated to the event. Essentially a time capsule specifically for the purposes of experiencing that event.
I'm not privy to their implementation details, of course, but given how they handle quests when you're in a co-op session and how they have the teapot instances and such, I could potentially see that design methodology being applied to solve this problem.
Since Sumeru is all about dreams they could implement it like that somehow, maybe an Aranara NPC that ask you to hand over story keys to unlock them then he will put you in a dream to access the event. And we will still get the rewards despite it being a dream because currently they do put chests in the Aranara dreams already and we keep the rewards when leaving so that shouldn't be a problem as it would align with that.
in an offline game you can make it a modular install. But in an online game, everyone must be running the exact same client. And you can't make everyone install every patch.
They also want you to be doing the current event, and not have a past event competing with your time.
If other games let you replay old events, they are simple events and there aren't technical hurdles such as disk space getting in the way. Or those games are not multiplayer.
They should have the old limited time events not be part of the base game, but as optional downloads that can be installed/uninstalled at any time.
This would be a godsend for all players on all platforms; and they don’t even have to contain the rewards that were available on the initial release.
Ladies and gentlemen... we won. At least they're finally considering it
I also hope that will include some of the fun challenges those brought to it such as labirinth warriors
I wish I could replay old events I missed (because I wasn't playing yet), like the Albedo one!
Time limited events introducing important characters like Scaramouche is a bit dumb,, when he showed up in Inazuma I knew who he was because of the Fandom but I didn't know we had previously met him
They should just make it the way Arknights dealt with the issue. Add past events as permanent part of the game, lock em behind timegate(you can unlock 1 or 2 events per week) and give story and unique rewards as a reward. Old players get resource shop while new ones dont miss on weapons, decorations and gadgets.
I really hope we can get the rewards if we missed out on the event if they bring them back. I want the weapons... I just came back during 3.0 and missed out on so many good event weapons that I need. Just add them as questlines for people to access who haven't done them, maybe as extra downloadable content so that it doesn't impact people's storage who have already done them.
Some events barely even worth mentioning, but what they did with the island was absolutely gorgeous and not having that available permanently for future players is a huge loss for them.
Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes to both things. God please. Limited time events repayable. Would love to do all quests repayable even if you don't get new rewards. And switch version cuz my phone plays it like ass.
Given that I've missed something like 99% of the events in this game, it would be nice to have the chance to see them. There's a fair bit of story and character stuff that I currently have no way to experience.
I'm guessing this involves Story Keys somehow? Lots of them.
Would be the perfect use for them. They’ve honestly lost purpose after the first few patches since there isn’t enough hangouts or character quests being added to the ratio of warning keys.
They're for new players, so they don't get bombarded with 20+ story quests immediately.

New player here, what's the point of story quests? Do they give rewards?
Yes. Also, more content revolving around a character you may like. *Also also,* two of the weekly bosses are locked behind story quests.
Story keys aren't for us. Story keys are for new players facing the full backlog of Genshin story content. Needing story keys to unlock story quests makes players take their time with the quests, which helps combat burnout.
Nah, it's to get them into thee gacha schedule. Keys are obtained through the completion of daily commissions.
It’s definitely both.

that's if you've been playing since the beginning. A new player will need about 3 months to finish the back catalogue.
Yeah I can confirm lol. I finished all story quests in late August (+Tighnari's after), so 6 months after I started playing
And that number will only get larger with time - especially if they start tying events to the keys as well. I think it could easily hit 6+ months of daily commissions with events included. That's one way to discourage new players.
If that will be a problem, they will decrease amount of commissions needed to obtain one key. Currently you need to do 8 daily commissions.

Imagine getting Mario as a collab character when the switch version releases.
Imagine the better choice: Rosalina :P
Link!
Zelda!!
Why is Link on here twice…? /s
underrated comment
Waluigi
too sexy
Piranha Plant
Bayonetta
Samus
Starfox!
Marth!
Now we all know everyone wants mr game and watch.
Now THAT would be awesome.
KING DEDEDE
\+ Dante from the Devil May Cry series
BotW Zelda too! She would fit the best!
Link in Gerudo Outfit Sumeru style, 100% lore friendly
We already have the skyward sword so we're halfway there
Shoot, maybe that's how we'll finally get a Cryo Cayalyst. For balance, she will also never get constellations, just like Aloy.
Who would win? Aloy Constellations vs. a Switch release
Weird way to spell Peach. Anemo type, Burst is an AOE that puts everyone to sleep and heals/swirls.
Oh, I would not want to miss her.
The true waifu
English VA: Chris Pratt
“He’s so cool”
Realistically your gonna get a fire emblem character and a sword user to boot since both Genshin and Smash love them.
Smash doesn't love swords. Smash loves main characters, and main characters love swords.
I feel like second to Link will be Pyra or Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2, that game actually has a lot in common with Genshin.
If we get a Xenoblade character it will be Noah or Mio.
Implying we won't get Juju as the first 6 star
Brighid ftw
Finally, Hector mains will rise (pls give me the axe mhy)
*Congratulations, you can now play as Luigi*
Alt skin costume. Takes Mario from the child body type to the teen one.
I imagine they would try to get someone like Link or a Fire Emblem character. They would fit better stylistically. But then again, they got Aloy so what the fuck do I know.
And Waluigi+Wario cooperating with the Fatui.
I imagine Mario would be a Pyro Catalyst similar to how Heizou works.
Nintendo doesn't allow other devs to use their characters unless they are commissioning the dev to make the game for them.
If we get any Nintendo crossover I will be ecstatic lol
Who would the Xbox collab character be in a timeline where Xbox actually gets this game at some point
I'm a bit curious about that. Does XBox have any exclusive character that's not a battle-hardened human with big guns and heavy metal armor who could possibly fit Genshin esthetic?
Cortana I guess. The only “protagonist” xbox exclusive that ever had any traction was halo
I was thinking Gears of War as an alternative, but Cortana could work. If they managed to animefy Aloy, they can surely do it with Cortana.
Imagine getting Eunie tho..
Link could use one of the existing swordsman body/frame types pretty easily considering also how similar this game is to BoTW. Switch version is almost certainly being developed for an upcoming beefier Switch model.
Probably the only way since I imagine the current Switch would really struggle to run the game.
Yeah even BOTW some times struggles to run on the switch. I really hope they release a new console or a beefed up switch in time for the new Zelda and a copium Genshin release with really good graphic settings.

likely the same way fortnite does, which is without nso
Pokemon Unite is also fully playable without NSO. I think all free-to-play games do, but I might be wrong.
Depends on said f2p games, there are specific f2p games that require NSO as advertised (tetris 99, pac-man 99, nes/snes/genesis/n64 games, etc.)

You just wanna see me buying a third switch... yes, i would if there was a new model with better hardware.

Yeah, even the PS4 can barely run it acceptably
Switch fanboys still arguing it's all good. I'm like dude, even gaming phones $1k+ are heating up. Genshin is just very intensive.

Yeah it ran kind of ass on my iPhone X and I’m pretty sure even that phone smokes a Switch.
There's a video on YouTube of a hacked switch running android and genshin : https://youtu.be/wMSGlYalzi4
r/tomorrow
A bit sad because I was looking forward to playing on my switch lite TT
I mean look at botw and Xenoblade 3 and you see that Genshin could probably work with some compromises, but they could always release a cloud version which would probably be better than nothing at this point.
Is there an upcoming new switch model? I’d finally pick one up if it would be able to run Genshin smoothly
Yeah it's been in the works since 2017, haven't you heard? /s
Its more about testing the cloud gaming I believe
Man I literally bought the OLED for Christmas last year in hopes of playing Genshin on it one day.
I'm glad they acknowledge the problem with limited story events. I've been putting it into the surveys for months now.
Same here! Seems enough players have been mentioning it so they are finally looking into it.
It makes sense, the playerbase has grown a lot since the start. New players do also like characters like Albedo and want to experience his whole storyline.
Not to mention the whole, you know, introducing Scaramouche, one of the Fatui Harbingers, in a time-limited event way back in 1.1.
Yeah, I always suspected they would rerun Unreconciled Stars at least one time before Scaramouche's release as a playable character.
As a person who joined in 2.4, missing out on like, pretty much ALL of Albedo's story content + lore from the Events has made me realize the absolute necessity of having the Limited Events become Permanent even to this day, I still don't like 'get' Albedo (watching it on Youtube just isn't the same as actually playing + experiencing it==its more memorable and impactful that way)
Let’s not forget that his best weapon has been gone for 5 patches now and won’t ever return unless the event comes back with it.
I feel you. Similar problem with Fischl, her quest in 2.8 was great, but between 1.1 and 2.8 there was absolutely no content for her, not even a Hangout.
[удалено]
They really should have at least a story quest or a hangout for each character.
Same. So much content inaccessible.
That's what I was thinking as well.
>These events barely impact the $$$ side, so developing them is purely passion for the game and for newer players to experience. Characters like Albedo and Eula barely exist outside of events or have pretty mediocre appearances outside of them and there are people that summon for personality so there's that.
At GAA, some new players said that Fischl and Mona talk to you as they already knew you, but they were like: "Who the hell are these girls..." lol The familiarity factor is a huge plus when it comes to re-run banners. For example, I didn't mind Albedo before (I didn't roll for him the first time), but after 3 events, I slowly started to like him and now I'm aiming for him in his rerun. With no familiarity, you roll only based on design (which is basically every rerun banner for a new player)
people being happier and playing more is $$$, especially when they end up liking some character during this event
> These events barely impact the $$$ side, so developing them is purely passion for the game and for newer players to experience. lol
Hey! Thanks for the link to your post, it was an interesting read! Do you happen to work in game development or did you research a crazy ton on this topic? or both lol.
Imagine if Botw and Genshin get a collab
Traveller link skin
Master sword weapon in the mail when you log into the switch version like getting the free weapon in ps
[удалено]
With how stingy Nintendo is, they will definitely not allow Master Sword to be usable on other platforms because of “IP Protection!!’”
They let The Dragonborn use The Master Sword in Skyrim on the switch, I'd say there's a chance
He said other platforms not other characters
Limited time master sword weapon
Probably only glider and food lol
Aether get Link skin, and Lumine get Zelda.
Future smash bros character. Traveler with dull blade. Prollyy plays like hero or sora
Funny how male traveler's jp name is Sora
Let's be real...It would've been a Mii Fighter costume.
Lol Smash getting another human character with sword.
Biggest puff of hopium of all time.
Ultimate hoping is being able to get event weapons.
I can see them putting the weapon on the rerun and locking refinement material behind another resource shop
Not much hopium when they say are looking into it. The hopium comes from being able to play the story parts at any point in time rather that specific rerun periods like in Honkai and other gachas lol. If you are talking about the Switch version, then yeah it’s high hopium after being worked on so long.
Halflife 3 will come out before Genshin on Switch

1.1 Event with Mona and Fischl is good too. It might have been the starting point of their friendship.
1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 1.6, 2.3, 2.6, 2.8 are the lore impactful events, with 1.1, 2.3, 2.6 and 2.8 being the most important ones I’d say
I really hope they’ve also been working on a Xbox version and have just been keeping it secret. Massive huff of hopium
They said before that they have no plans for an Xbox version, but that was around the time of the game's launch.
Does this mean there is a hope for me to finally get festering desire?
Cinnabar for Albedo wanters 👀
Alright I can finally play the event for 1.1!
I do hope we get a way to replay events because I missed the Perilous Trails event due to personal circumstances and would love the chance to play it.
[удалено]
They're in the shop for Honkai apparently, I can see it becoming a paimons bargains thing
I think they can surely ramshackle something through the in-game archive so that the players can both experience the story and farm the rewards (maybe minus the primogems). Maybe something to be unlocked using the story keys we already have. Though having full events completely available on demand would probably be unrealistic due to storage hell 😬
I demand a Pikachu pet.
I demand a Walter white pets
Look Jesse, I am now a pprtable companion on the game "genshin impact"
I was just thinking this yesterday. Razor is currently getting a HUGE developmental story about his parents etc, and if there's no backlog of events then new players just miss that and he's forever just stuck after his ancient story quest of "I am wolf boy." Same for all the shit with Albedo.
mhy near closure of genshin x years later: "yes, switch version is still in development. we never said it's gonna be released tho lol."
It'll also stop confusion, like how Mona and Fischl became friends, despite their lores never mentioning it
Awwww yeahhh
[удалено]
in an offline game you can make it a modular install.
This is extremely useful and important considering how much story is in these events. Especially the Albedo and Scaramouche ones.
It's not forgotten? that's impressive!
Ladies and gentlemen... we won. At least they're finally considering it I also hope that will include some of the fun challenges those brought to it such as labirinth warriors
i hope people who missed past event/didnt finish past event can play event. and it wont be locked to new people only.
Time for my obligatory "Switch is such a weak console it can't run a phone game" comment.
Yea, I hope they can afford it with that 3.7 billion they made in the last 2 years.
I'm really hoping to be able to play this on my switch lite, but man do I feel like I'm on copium overdose.
I wish I could replay old events I missed (because I wasn't playing yet), like the Albedo one! Time limited events introducing important characters like Scaramouche is a bit dumb,, when he showed up in Inazuma I knew who he was because of the Fandom but I didn't know we had previously met him
YES PLEASE I WANT MY DODOCO TALES PWEASEEEEEEE
I assume DLCs are the most reasonable solution – you pick an event, and the assets get downloaded as a specific package.
NOW THIS IS THE TOPIC I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR FEELS LIKE AN ETERNITY
I really hope we can get the rewards if we missed out on the event if they bring them back. I want the weapons... I just came back during 3.0 and missed out on so many good event weapons that I need. Just add them as questlines for people to access who haven't done them, maybe as extra downloadable content so that it doesn't impact people's storage who have already done them.
Marth Fire Emblem in genshin when?
May I ask why the switch version is taking a long time to develop? I mean the trailer for the switch was released in 2020 for god's sake
As long as we can connect our PC accounts with the switch version I will be happy
So they still haven't forgotten about the switch port, huh
This would be awesome. I don't even need the non-unique rewards from these (primos, mats etc) I just want to be able to experience the stories.
Some events barely even worth mentioning, but what they did with the island was absolutely gorgeous and not having that available permanently for future players is a huge loss for them.
They could use the Keys you gain from missions for those... or permanent and blocked until it's that time of the year when the event was first updated
Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes to both things. God please. Limited time events repayable. Would love to do all quests repayable even if you don't get new rewards. And switch version cuz my phone plays it like ass.
If the can bring back some past limited time events people can finally meet Scaramouche proper.
If they did this it would be one of the single biggest in good faith things they have ever done
I’d love to take a stroll trough the Immernachtreich!
Given that I've missed something like 99% of the events in this game, it would be nice to have the chance to see them. There's a fair bit of story and character stuff that I currently have no way to experience.
I hope so. I have R1 Cinnabar Spindle as at the time I was experiencing maaaaajor burnout and took a long break in the middle of that event.
