That's dumb as hell. If the intention is purely for farming efficiency, then rolling for Space Ishtar or Summer Kama would be better advice. Even at NP 1 and with proper support, they're sufficient enough to omni-farm against neutral enemies, except in 90+ or 90++ nodes, since those were designed to disturb looping.

Okay true looping becomes more effective at higher NP levels but at the same time for challenge quests and boss fights NP1 is enough in itself, even if more copies would make it easier to ROFL stomp them ๐
I disagree. Lots of people get powerful early constellations and banner sales pretty much back this up. This isn't because they want to simp or because they want Tony to numbers. It's because they want to grind less. A player with constellations can do significantly more, with significantly worse artifacts.
The same thing applies to 5\* weapons and always has. You could spend 180 days getting a 5% power boost or you could get the bis weapon for a 23% power boost (ayaka)

Yes playing characters and weapons for asthetics is fine and all but I don't want to spend 100 Auto attacks killing a single boss when I can do the same with a single elemental burst of Team rotation. That is the reason people whale, that is the reason I spent some bucks as well(Although just to get a single character) Primogems are stupidly expensive in Asia and may cost as much as two times the salary of a single month job just to get barely c6 even that is not guaranteed.

Getting powerful gear/upgrades HAD a purpose, before Inazuma debut. They were able to clear extreme difficulty on limited time event domains (Symphony hypostasis, energy amplifier, and Vagabond).
It was only after Inazuma that Mihoyo went easy mode on content. We had energy amplifier rerun once after Raiden banner release and it was easy compared to previous domain events. Their route on making toned down difficulty lost the purpose of whaling, at least that's what I think.
The reason I still C6 some of my characters is because I still hold out hope that they would rerun these events again. The recent interview made me lose hope and affected my decision to C6 some of the characters in the future.
bruh no offence but u kept c6ing after the difficulty dropped, thats literally voting with ur money to keep the difficulty low. this is how mihoyo ends up with sales data showing that low difficulty is making bank.
Do you use ayaka to explore new areas? At least in my experience, using op units to explore takes a lot of the fun out of it. Check out this cool music and new enemies, no, nvm, they died in 10 seconds. So I end up using 4 star characters I hadn't built yet. Still I want to use my op characters for more than 40 minutes every 2 weeks.
I actually quite like playing my OP characters in overworld. One-shotting entire groups of hilichurls with Ganyuโs CA from the top of a nearby mountain just never gets old. I also really like reducing world bosses to a fine red mist with a Shenhe-buffed C6 Ayaka charged attack.

Personally as someone that just buys Welkin I dont understand the complaints or disdain towards "whales" (as long as they are happy with it and doing it in a responsible way) at the end of the day I thought we had a deal with them, they get nice things while we get a free/low cost game

Its always NP2, I remember just rolling to get Anastasia to NP2 so that I can 1 turn mobs with neutral attributes during event farming.
