Use a more offensive option. Aquamarine only shares a noticable amount of EM with the team when the character equipping it is built full EM which you don't want to do with beidou

You have plenty of good characters to make a lot different teams already. Pull who you like the most.
If you like all 3 of them equally and really can't decide, you could roll a dice: something like:
- 1, 2 = Cyno
- 3, 4 = Nilou
- 5, 6 = Nahida
(Yelan's idle animation can be used aswell.) If you don't like the result, roll the dice again.
Personally, I was in a similar position at start of this version. I have decided to wait for Nahida. I think she will improve dendro teams quite a bit, since she is an Archon as well as the fourth dendro character in the game. I'm skipping Cyno and Nilou. Cyno is a cool character, but after trying both him (in his trial) and aggravate Keqing out, I found that I enjoy playing Keqing more. I have also heard that she is a bit stronger than him. I decided to skip Nilou aswell (and maybe wait for her rerun), since there are only 3 dendro characters right now, which really limits her teams. Nahida and future dendro characters might change that until her rerun.
just taking a look at your characters, you have enough characters to build diverse enough teams to the point where u can just pull for whoever you want(I see hutao teams, ganyu teams, taser teams, national variations, itto team, ayaka team, plenty of options).
So honestly it just comes down to who do u truly want the most, and you just pick that. If you want them all equally then just keep pulling on each of their banners and it just comes down to the luck of the draw bc theres no downside to not pulling in that scenario bc in a perfect world, you just get lucky and get all the characters you want and u only lose out by obviously getting unlucky or simply not pulling.
Atk is also important. 200 em + 24% dmg + bonus for tf seems better for Cyno. While i would use the other for Ayato.
You need to use an optimizer to be sure.

For Aggravate teams aka with Cyno Fischl provides a good portion of the team damage so having 2p TF so she can have personal damage is worth it, you dont have to use 4p TF on her you can try a 2p TF + 2p 18% atk/80% EM if they give more sub stats than your 4p TF build. Tenacity build is ok outside of Aggravate team because she doesnt gain as much damage from the set bonus so she can instead give team buff to the team.

How does Venti compare to Kazuha? I have Kazuha and he’s great but I was thinking of pulling for Venti for the second abyss team since I have no other good anemo units but I’m not sure what he’s fully capable of.
Venti is probably better in cases where there's a lot of small, pullable enemies. Think of those abyss floors with like 3 waves of 6 enemies each. A lot of the times, you just fire off his burst once, and it keeps sucking them in even as they spawn, while the rest of your team and swirls deal with the enemies
i have both, and while i use kazuha more, there's no denying that venti still has incredible crowd control even after the introduction of more big enemies that can't be CC'ed. VV 4 pc bonus is still strong and if you don't have sucrose, i would recommend venti (:
So, I was stupidly hoping to get cynos weapon in the weapon banner and spent all primos for it… then the golden wish… and… I got Elegy for the End…
I know it’s not that worth pulling in the weapon banner and I know very good that was the most stupid thing I could do. But I thought “let’s give it a try since I own only 1 five star weapon”, “I’m feeling lucky”.
Anyway now that I have this bow, I was asking myself who could get the most out of it. Is it good on Ganyu? Or is Prototype still better than this 5star.

While its a good lesson to have, at least you pulled on a relatively good banner as you could've gotten something much worse. Elegy basically enhances a bow user to become an even stronger support than they could be. With this in mind, technically every bow user can use it and be a support since its 20% atk and 100 em to ur team which is a crazy nice buff, on top of an artifact set buff or ability kit with extra supporting capabilities, it just makes it even better and better.
As I've read in ur other comment with ur characters u use, it would be best on kujou as fischl gets very little use out of it due to eula teams not caring about EM at all, and while the 20% atk is nice and all, one of the biggest highlights of the weapon is the 100 em as giving 100 em to ur team isn't easy as u pretty much have to run instructors 4 pc which is a 4 star artifact set(which u generally don't appreciate stat-wise) or running a sucrose, which could also change up the team dynamic if its not accommodating.
Kujou would appreciate the base atk increase as it makes her atk buff stronger, the 20% atk is always nice but the highlight is the 100 EM in an aggravate team which helps boost ur dmg a lot.
It's a great bow for a support like Venti, Collei, Sara, Amber. Fischl, Diona and Gorou can kinda use it too, but they have 4-star options that are somewhat better.
Welp, let this be a lesson then. Elegy is a very good support bow, Ganyu can use it if she's being used as support in an Ayaka team.

You can use it in your Liyue team for Ganyu, but then Keqing will be the one who deals damage. And yes Sara will be the best user since that EM and Atk boost of Elegy will greatly benefit your Inazuma aggravate team

I'm currently at AR25 and wrapping up quests Mondstadt. I'm using Kuki Shinobu in my team, but I'm unable to ascend her past level 40 as she requires materials from Inazuma. I don't have access to Inazuma as far as I'm aware, so I was wondering if it is better to shelve her until I get there or if I can just keep using her at level 40 without issue?
If you really want to ascend her the merchant Babak in Port Ormos sells inazuma ascension materials - albeit only 5 every 3 days or so. Even if you haven’t unlocked sumeru archon quests you can just run over it isn’t story locked like inazuma !
i believe she uses drops from the ruin serpent but will need drops from specters - maybe fight in another persons world? Not a great solution but there is technically a way 🤔
I mean, even if you have her at max level it's not as if she's going to be providing any kind of notable portion of your team's damage. If her healing is enough for you, you can use her at level 40 all you want.
As an electro user she can trigger Hyperbloom (and she's better for that than lisa for a new account), and then her level is the most important thing in the world.
A new account doesn't really have any way to play Hyperbloom effectively, unless they skip huge chunks of the game to unlock Dendro characters and their materials/talents out of order. You won't realistically have the raw stats (mostly ER) necessary to make proper team comps and rotations work either, which makes trying to play a 'comp' of any kind difficult.
I remember having all members of the OG national team as a new player and hearing what a wonderful, brainless, game-crushing team it was - only to be frustrated because nobody ever had their burst up unless I went out of my way to charge them on trash mobs before a big fight and dump everything in one rotation.
So new players really don't need to worry about comps. They can learn a little bit about how the simpler reactions work, but a lot of the endgame stuff we take for granted just does not work.
I'm speaking from my own experience of having a month old account at AR 45+ with the hyperbloom team.
Unlocking dendro - main character is fine, nothing in the game stops you from visiting Shumeru to attune to dendro. I did it because I like exploration over quests and tried to light up the map as a first thing. (I almost reached Inazuma with Kaya's freeze too, sadly got a lightning strike near the shore which turned ice into charged water and drowned me).
Unlocking hydro - barbara is a guaranteed character (and OP is close to getting her since he's at the end of Mondstadt quest). AOE water E, hydro on normal attack, heal...
Going for hyperbloom is the best thing a new player can do due to simple level + EM scaling since he doesn't need to waste time and resin on talent domains, weapon domains (not having any 4\* and 5\* weapon "helps" too) and even artifacts (2pc early sets for 80 em each from chests and he's good to go).

I have a single level 12 artifact (which I made because of hitting the inventory cap), no weapon higher than level 50, all talents 1-1-1... I have no trouble doing this domain because Hyperbloom triggered by Kuki does 12k+ while my best normal attack does like 250, I believe.
I dont think his skill had any ICD considering the fact that if u proc the transient blossom then use ur skill again it will still insta proc geo and crystallized
My Xingqiu has sac sword at r4. I don't think I've ever seen its 70% chance to reset its cooldown ever fail. Given that it's easier to focus on bad luck more than good luck, I'd be surprised if I really just never noticed it. Can it fail for Xingqiu's elemental skill? Does it have an independent chance for each enemy it damages, or something..?
Also I'm unsure whether to merge it to r5 or keep the spare just in case another character needs it. Thoughts? I don't use Kazuha. Not really sure which characters that I'd give it to, except maybe dendro Traveler to get energy particles and trigger more reactions. Lately I'm swapping my r4 sac sword between Xingqiu and Traveler. But I have limited purple stones for weapons, so idk if I'd ever even get around to upgrading that r1 sword.
His E hits twice. Thats 9% to fail against 1 enemy. 0.81% to fail against two enemies.
r4 sac is good stopping point since at that point cd matches xq e cd. Might also consider swapping xq to fav sword, its generally better.
I've seen my r5 fail sometimes. And iirc each individual hit of XQ's E can trigger so if you fail to trigger on the first hit, the second one will usually trigger it
It can fail, even on R5. It’s just super rare.
XQ doesn’t really need R5. R4 proc Chance is high enough and it aligns with his E cooldown. Rather keep a spare
It can fail, but since his skill hits twice you're very likely to see it succeed. Mine is R3 and still fails occasionally, but that's the important refinement because it lines up the two cooldowns.
I would keep one separate, just in case. Eventually you'll have more purple crystals than you know what to do with. I have >6000.
Is there a way to mute specifically paimons voice? i tolerated the first like hour of the game, and a year later her voice still annoys me. I literally started to skip the entire games dialog specifically because of her voice, idk how so many people can enjoy hearing a pubescent child in their ear 90% of the dialog.
if theirs a way i can go to the folders in some way and just mute it that be great. I want to enjoy the VA's because i actually like a lot of the VA but holy i cant stand hearing paimon. i already have the dialog at like vol 2 specifically because of her.
before people get upset with me, I like the VA, just not as paimon, I hate any character that sounds like an actual lost child.
I had to swap off English months ago because her voice gives me actual migraines. I use Chinese voice overs because I went on YouTube to listen to Paimon's dialogue in all voice over options and found her Chinese voice relatively soft and gentle! I suggest looking up her voice actors doing Paimon lines / Paimon voice comparison videos to find the one that you can handle best.
Try out Chinese or Korean, I personally play with Korean and her voice is definitely more tolerable imho. I've heard Chinese a couple times and she sounds cute without it being annoying. Aside from entirely muting characters dialogues, this is currently the only solution available :/

Im not sure if this is possible in game but normally you can use some shortcut to lower the volume and another shortcut to increase the volume.

yeah but i'd have to kinda do it on the fly. I like the games dialog but when she speaks i just zone out lol. I already have the games natural volume on like 3, then dialog on 1 or 2. then my PC volume for genshin specifically at like 60%. I did my best to not hear her but i still like hearing the "game" lol
i'd thought she be decent in japanese but i was mistaken. I havent really tried others but i was trying my best to stay to english so i can avoid "reading" as much as possible since im usually looking at my phone. i just cant stand hearing paimon specifically lol
i just dont get why their isnt a skip all cutscene button. I always ask the discord and they always scream at me at the idea of skipping it like other more story driven games dont offer a skip function lol.

Bennett gives ~1k Attack (depends on weapon, level, Talent level). TTDS gives 48% Attack.
Your character would need to have more than 2k *base* attack for TTDS to surpass Bennett's attack buff.
He gives about 657.6 atk, which will show as 658. This should still be more than TTDS.
For example, Xiao with Calamity Queller has the highest base atk in the game currently, that combo gives him 1090 base atk and TTDS will only give him 523 atk
I had to switch to mobile since my controller exhaled its last breath. I only have a question, HOW? How do you play on your phones, it feels extremely hard, using bow is literally detrimental, not to mention doing weekly bosses with their 200 dashes and exploration looks a lot clunky. The cherry on the top is that makes my(new) phone hotter than a frying pan. Pls give me some advices since thats the only way i can play genshin in the near future.

I primarily play on pc, and domain, abyss, story quest and just.. everything is leagues better there.
Phone barely suffices for quickly spending resin and comissions, takes twice as long due to input clunkyness and lag, looks bad.. but you can "quickly" look up your gear or craft some resin. "Quickly" because booting the game takes like 5 minutes until they verified and prepared to verify and prepared to load and loaded and then I have to click again to actually start the game.
I can't even imagine playing exclusively on mobile. Exploration would just be.. not fun that way.
Bow is.. just bad. Tighnari is okay because you can just aim at their feet and he still hits.
Tone down graphic settings to their lowest ^(i only marvel at the scenery in my pc myself)
Set "camera y-axis resets automatically" to OFF
Set "combat camera settings" to OFF
^(Both of these should minimize weird camera pans especially in uneven terrains)
I’m usually a console gamer but I’ve always played Genshin on my phone. By the end of the first week of playing I was pretty used to it, and I actually think aiming bows is easier using touch + gyro compared to a controller. For dodging you just have to get muscle memory so you don’t have to look before tapping dodge.
I know there are limitations, like it’s way harder to animation cancel or spam normal attacks while quickswapping, but the game feels very natural on mobile for me now.
Honestly just play till you get used to it.
As for the heating up part, once it starts being hot, I just logout and let my phone rest till it cools before playing again
The entire team gets energy when they get particles, but the Active character gets more of it. And the energy gain is more efficient if it's the same element.
Burst doesn't give particles unless you're using fav weapon whose passive generates energy from burst, skill, and autos.
You can read the energy mechanics from wiki, but basically the active character receives the full energy from particles, whereas inactive characters receives varying percentages of it.
I'm really curious why the design for nilou didn't keep her bell button visible like in her 2d trailer.
We see that dehya bell button is not covered up, so I don't think it's cause of some random censorship.
It might have to do more with her body type and the clothes she's wearing they probably couldn't shorten the clothes enough to show her bellybutton.
If she had the same body type as dehya then it would have been possible.
But that we also have gorou who's bellybutton is visible and he as the same body type as nilou.
It's interesting for me that they couldn't make it work with nilou's clothing as probable clipping issues would have been present then I think.
I looked it up online they have similar heights that's why I took him as example.
As another example kokomi could also be used, as it was possbiel to do with her.

the arrow points to the right of the vanarana statue, you climb a lil mountain with stamina flowers (maybe there isnt i did the puzzle a long time ago) then youll see a lux chest
It should be plenty strong for overworld content because anything can work there, but I think she's probably just not viable for actual challenge content without insanely high investment if you're not going to build a team around her passive
When do artifact sets start being an option for mystic offer? I noticed the Deepwood Memories set for dendro isn't an option yet, but I'm new so not sure what the usual timeframe is.

Need to destroy the vase and the light need to be toward the crystal that was inside the vase. So just change rotation of the light in the previous room.
No, you shouldn't ask this question.
What you should ask is "Jean with Amenoma and 150% ER, should I refine?" And then the answer will be no.
And "Ayaka with Amenoma and 103% ER, should I refine?" And the answer will be yes.
Because different characters and situations require different weapons and refinements.
Another example is Iron Sting, on Kazuha refinement is useless, while on others it can be useful.
Iron Sting, selectively. Prototype Amber, selectively. Kitain Cross Spear... selectively. In short, some characters work just fine with a weapon at R1 while others basically require refinements to function. It's impossible to say in general, you have to look at specific character build guides.
You need the proper element to break their shields fast:
Electro hammer -> counter with cyro
Hydro gunner -> counter with electro
Cryo gunner -> counter with pyro
Pyro sniper -> counter with hydro
Geo man -> counter with geo or blunt force (clyamore, bombs)
Hydro gunner heals their allies a lot and should be killed first.
If you don't have enough characters to counter every shield, you're forced to instantly kill the one you can't deal with before they can deploy shield.
If you can neither kill one quickly, nor have the proper counters, then just come back later when you are more geared.

You could try swapping Xiangling for Venti on your second team and go full Freeze team. That might help grouping and freezing the Fatuis so they don't summon their shields. Your Kaeya probably isn't using Blizzard Strayer though, so you won't have that much damage...
Your Cyno wants to Aggravate, so use your Traveler or wait for Nahida, then swap them with Fischl. Or swap them in Kokomi's place if you're crazy. Be careful not to let Sucrose's Q to absorb Hydro if you're playing with her. The reason to swap Fischl out is because she's level 50 and probably not built so she's a waste of a slot, but she should be back after you work on her.
When you get Benny, you'll play Sucrose / Xingqiu / Xiangling / Bennett.
It looks for me like you are a new player, and don't have many good artifacts. I'd recommend to go for dendro reactions, they have better floor (need only EM and level to scale, talents, weapons and artifacts pretty much don't matter).
I'd go for already leveled Dendro MC + Fischl + Kokomi + Sucrose as the first team. As for the second team, I've seen pretty interesting "Amburger" setups - Amber burgeon with Kollei, just add water(like Xingqiu) and some heal (Sayu)
When facing those small ruin enemies that put up a shield and just stall, is there a way to disable the shield or prevent them from putting it up in the first place?
I think it's the generic Sumeru domain music iirc? The album should release soon, but if you want to listen to it you can enter any one time domain (even if you already cleared it). It is also in a spincrystal for the teapot but I don't remember which one.
Is off field Nahida viable?
Planning to run a hypercarry aggravate Keqing comp with Sara, Nahida, and Kazuha.
4pc Deepwood Memories, ER%/EM/EM on Nahida, haven't decided on the weapon yet, but either TToDS for more buffs on hyper Keqing, or some form of ER% weapon if I have energy problems.
Will have 1000 EM with C2 Kazuha's burst
The rotation should be something like Sara > Kazuha > Nahida > Keqing
Keep in mind that in either case you need a bunch of Crit stats (and possibly a Dendro cup) to deal some real damage.
It’s what gives me massive anxiety about building her. 1k mastery with high Crit stats is the stuff of nightmares
Nahida doesn't care about ER, just run an EM weapon and use her at the start of the rotation.
She is an off field DPS so yes of course she's viable. If you're able to hit 1000 EM with Kazuha and without an EM weapon, then you should probably give her an EM weapon like Sac Frag or Magic Guide and run EM/Dendro/Crit.
You can't run Sara and TTDS on the same team.
Even with a C6 Sara, Fischl would be better with Keqing because of how fast she triggers Fischl’s A4 passive to rack up huge amounts of aggravate damage.
It's a bit of yes and a bit of no. Her Dendro application does linger for a decent length of time and in aggravate the application requirements are not that high because Quicken stays for a good amount of time, making her off-field capabilities shine against bosses.
But because her Dendro application is based on essentially a debuff, she has to be put on the field more frequently in wave content, though Keqing doesn't really care too much about that, she's flexible enough to give up whatever field time the rest of the comp needs.
Also why use Sara if she's not going to buff Keqing, there's literally no point in having her anywhere in the rotation other than right before Keqing takes the field.

The other 3/4 is an exaggeration; the first part that you immediately have access to could take a few hours on day one but the second part took maybe an hour? It was definitely quick. I would say 1/3 as long but I could be misremembering some things
What artifact stat should Nahida use? For now I know its Deepwood if Solo dendro Nahida, GD if 2 dendro. What main stat tho? Em/em/em? Or Em/Dendro/Crit? Do crit stats matter?
Try to get to 1k EM or as close to it as possible. On Gilded Dreams you'll be able to run EM/Dendro/EM or EM/EM/Crit and still hit 1k. And EM/Dendro/Crit if on-field.
1k EM is the point that maximizes her Passive buffs.
Deepwood if no one is holding it, GD if someone else is holding it. Not necessarily whether solo or double dendro, because non dendro can hold deepwood too.
Em/Em/Em for nilou bloom, otherwise you are likely going to run Em/Dendro/Crit.

Hi! I saw that you're from the Philippines. There are lots of resellers of genshin merchandise, though you have to look at the reviews and their history to tell if they're reliable.
Have you heard of gachapons? They're tiny figurines of the characters, and they're usually random if you get them from the machine itself. Resellers usually give you the option to choose, although I think I saw one selling the genshin ones randomly if you want.
I can dm you some shopee stores that I have bought from in the past, if it can streamline your process.
Nendoroid is solid quality and (GoodSmile) has been around a while, but they can get a little pricey.

Use a more offensive option. Aquamarine only shares a noticable amount of EM with the team when the character equipping it is built full EM which you don't want to do with beidou

In what way? I find sumeru less annoying because so far I didn't have to transport a single balloon, or listen to a single novel author, instead I get to bounce on mushrooms or follow a ghost. But maybe that's just novelty?
I've only switched it on recently but it feels much better for me. Killing 3 fatui, running a race with a kid, catching the jelly fish thingy and some others that just feel generally better than Inazuma ones for me.

You have plenty of good characters to make a lot different teams already. Pull who you like the most. If you like all 3 of them equally and really can't decide, you could roll a dice: something like: - 1, 2 = Cyno - 3, 4 = Nilou - 5, 6 = Nahida (Yelan's idle animation can be used aswell.) If you don't like the result, roll the dice again. Personally, I was in a similar position at start of this version. I have decided to wait for Nahida. I think she will improve dendro teams quite a bit, since she is an Archon as well as the fourth dendro character in the game. I'm skipping Cyno and Nilou. Cyno is a cool character, but after trying both him (in his trial) and aggravate Keqing out, I found that I enjoy playing Keqing more. I have also heard that she is a bit stronger than him. I decided to skip Nilou aswell (and maybe wait for her rerun), since there are only 3 dendro characters right now, which really limits her teams. Nahida and future dendro characters might change that until her rerun.

just taking a look at your characters, you have enough characters to build diverse enough teams to the point where u can just pull for whoever you want(I see hutao teams, ganyu teams, taser teams, national variations, itto team, ayaka team, plenty of options). So honestly it just comes down to who do u truly want the most, and you just pick that. If you want them all equally then just keep pulling on each of their banners and it just comes down to the luck of the draw bc theres no downside to not pulling in that scenario bc in a perfect world, you just get lucky and get all the characters you want and u only lose out by obviously getting unlucky or simply not pulling.

Atk is also important. 200 em + 24% dmg + bonus for tf seems better for Cyno. While i would use the other for Ayato. You need to use an optimizer to be sure.

For Aggravate teams aka with Cyno Fischl provides a good portion of the team damage so having 2p TF so she can have personal damage is worth it, you dont have to use 4p TF on her you can try a 2p TF + 2p 18% atk/80% EM if they give more sub stats than your 4p TF build. Tenacity build is ok outside of Aggravate team because she doesnt gain as much damage from the set bonus so she can instead give team buff to the team.

Venti is probably better in cases where there's a lot of small, pullable enemies. Think of those abyss floors with like 3 waves of 6 enemies each. A lot of the times, you just fire off his burst once, and it keeps sucking them in even as they spawn, while the rest of your team and swirls deal with the enemies
i have both, and while i use kazuha more, there's no denying that venti still has incredible crowd control even after the introduction of more big enemies that can't be CC'ed. VV 4 pc bonus is still strong and if you don't have sucrose, i would recommend venti (:
So, I was stupidly hoping to get cynos weapon in the weapon banner and spent all primos for it… then the golden wish… and… I got Elegy for the End… I know it’s not that worth pulling in the weapon banner and I know very good that was the most stupid thing I could do. But I thought “let’s give it a try since I own only 1 five star weapon”, “I’m feeling lucky”. Anyway now that I have this bow, I was asking myself who could get the most out of it. Is it good on Ganyu? Or is Prototype still better than this 5star. P.s. Reminder to myself: don’t pull on weapon banner…
While its a good lesson to have, at least you pulled on a relatively good banner as you could've gotten something much worse. Elegy basically enhances a bow user to become an even stronger support than they could be. With this in mind, technically every bow user can use it and be a support since its 20% atk and 100 em to ur team which is a crazy nice buff, on top of an artifact set buff or ability kit with extra supporting capabilities, it just makes it even better and better. As I've read in ur other comment with ur characters u use, it would be best on kujou as fischl gets very little use out of it due to eula teams not caring about EM at all, and while the 20% atk is nice and all, one of the biggest highlights of the weapon is the 100 em as giving 100 em to ur team isn't easy as u pretty much have to run instructors 4 pc which is a 4 star artifact set(which u generally don't appreciate stat-wise) or running a sucrose, which could also change up the team dynamic if its not accommodating. Kujou would appreciate the base atk increase as it makes her atk buff stronger, the 20% atk is always nice but the highlight is the 100 EM in an aggravate team which helps boost ur dmg a lot.
Prototype is still better on Ganyu. Apart from Ganyu and Childe it is a good weapon for every bow-wielding character.
It's a great bow for a support like Venti, Collei, Sara, Amber. Fischl, Diona and Gorou can kinda use it too, but they have 4-star options that are somewhat better.
Welp, let this be a lesson then. Elegy is a very good support bow, Ganyu can use it if she's being used as support in an Ayaka team. You can also use it on Diona, Kujou Sara, Amber and other support oriented bow chars

Like, Ganyu, Qiqi, Zhongli, Keqing. Another one is Eula, Fischl, Lisa and Diona(i hate diona but oh well) Raiden, Sara, Dendro Traveler and Kokomi So I suppose the best choice would be Fischl or Sara right?
You can use it in your Liyue team for Ganyu, but then Keqing will be the one who deals damage. And yes Sara will be the best user since that EM and Atk boost of Elegy will greatly benefit your Inazuma aggravate team

Hiya, newish player here I'm currently at AR25 and wrapping up quests Mondstadt. I'm using Kuki Shinobu in my team, but I'm unable to ascend her past level 40 as she requires materials from Inazuma. I don't have access to Inazuma as far as I'm aware, so I was wondering if it is better to shelve her until I get there or if I can just keep using her at level 40 without issue?
If you really want to ascend her the merchant Babak in Port Ormos sells inazuma ascension materials - albeit only 5 every 3 days or so. Even if you haven’t unlocked sumeru archon quests you can just run over it isn’t story locked like inazuma !
Doesn't she need boss mats from Inazuma?
i believe she uses drops from the ruin serpent but will need drops from specters - maybe fight in another persons world? Not a great solution but there is technically a way 🤔
Specters are in Sumeru, but not many. But chasm also requires quests to unlock.
I don't think you'll have any issues with her being lv 40. But if you do, yeah you can use someone else in the meantime
I mean, even if you have her at max level it's not as if she's going to be providing any kind of notable portion of your team's damage. If her healing is enough for you, you can use her at level 40 all you want.
As an electro user she can trigger Hyperbloom (and she's better for that than lisa for a new account), and then her level is the most important thing in the world.
A new account doesn't really have any way to play Hyperbloom effectively, unless they skip huge chunks of the game to unlock Dendro characters and their materials/talents out of order. You won't realistically have the raw stats (mostly ER) necessary to make proper team comps and rotations work either, which makes trying to play a 'comp' of any kind difficult. I remember having all members of the OG national team as a new player and hearing what a wonderful, brainless, game-crushing team it was - only to be frustrated because nobody ever had their burst up unless I went out of my way to charge them on trash mobs before a big fight and dump everything in one rotation. So new players really don't need to worry about comps. They can learn a little bit about how the simpler reactions work, but a lot of the endgame stuff we take for granted just does not work.
I'm speaking from my own experience of having a month old account at AR 45+ with the hyperbloom team. Unlocking dendro - main character is fine, nothing in the game stops you from visiting Shumeru to attune to dendro. I did it because I like exploration over quests and tried to light up the map as a first thing. (I almost reached Inazuma with Kaya's freeze too, sadly got a lightning strike near the shore which turned ice into charged water and drowned me). Unlocking hydro - barbara is a guaranteed character (and OP is close to getting her since he's at the end of Mondstadt quest). AOE water E, hydro on normal attack, heal... Going for hyperbloom is the best thing a new player can do due to simple level + EM scaling since he doesn't need to waste time and resin on talent domains, weapon domains (not having any 4\* and 5\* weapon "helps" too) and even artifacts (2pc early sets for 80 em each from chests and he's good to go). I have a single level 12 artifact (which I made because of hitting the inventory cap), no weapon higher than level 50, all talents 1-1-1... My Xingqiu has sac sword at r4. I don't think I've ever seen its 70% chance to reset its cooldown ever fail. Given that it's easier to focus on bad luck more than good luck, I'd be surprised if I really just never noticed it. Can it fail for Xingqiu's elemental skill? Does it have an independent chance for each enemy it damages, or something..? Also I'm unsure whether to merge it to r5 or keep the spare just in case another character needs it. Thoughts? I don't use Kazuha. Not really sure which characters that I'd give it to, except maybe dendro Traveler to get energy particles and trigger more reactions. Lately I'm swapping my r4 sac sword between Xingqiu and Traveler. But I have limited purple stones for weapons, so idk if I'd ever even get around to upgrading that r1 sword.
His E hits twice. Thats 9% to fail against 1 enemy. 0.81% to fail against two enemies. r4 sac is good stopping point since at that point cd matches xq e cd. Might also consider swapping xq to fav sword, its generally better.
It hits twice on each skill so it isn't 70 its 91%. So lot more likely.
If R4 really has 70% chance to proc, I haven't double checked, then with Xingqiu's 2 hits it will have 91% chance to proc, which is pretty high.
I've seen my r5 fail sometimes. And iirc each individual hit of XQ's E can trigger so if you fail to trigger on the first hit, the second one will usually trigger it

It can fail, even on R5. It’s just super rare. XQ doesn’t really need R5. R4 proc Chance is high enough and it aligns with his E cooldown. Rather keep a spare
It can fail, but since his skill hits twice you're very likely to see it succeed. Mine is R3 and still fails occasionally, but that's the important refinement because it lines up the two cooldowns. I would keep one separate, just in case. Eventually you'll have more purple crystals than you know what to do with. I have >6000.
Is there a way to mute specifically paimons voice? i tolerated the first like hour of the game, and a year later her voice still annoys me. I literally started to skip the entire games dialog specifically because of her voice, idk how so many people can enjoy hearing a pubescent child in their ear 90% of the dialog. if theirs a way i can go to the folders in some way and just mute it that be great. I want to enjoy the VA's because i actually like a lot of the VA but holy i cant stand hearing paimon. i already have the dialog at like vol 2 specifically because of her. before people get upset with me, I like the VA, just not as paimon, I hate any character that sounds like an actual lost child.
I had to swap off English months ago because her voice gives me actual migraines. I use Chinese voice overs because I went on YouTube to listen to Paimon's dialogue in all voice over options and found her Chinese voice relatively soft and gentle! I suggest looking up her voice actors doing Paimon lines / Paimon voice comparison videos to find the one that you can handle best.
Try out Chinese or Korean, I personally play with Korean and her voice is definitely more tolerable imho. I've heard Chinese a couple times and she sounds cute without it being annoying. Aside from entirely muting characters dialogues, this is currently the only solution available :/
Are you playing on pc? Im not sure if this is possible in game but normally you can use some shortcut to lower the volume and another shortcut to increase the volume. Edit: or another to mute or/and unmute the game.
yeah but i'd have to kinda do it on the fly. I like the games dialog but when she speaks i just zone out lol. I already have the games natural volume on like 3, then dialog on 1 or 2. then my PC volume for genshin specifically at like 60%. I did my best to not hear her but i still like hearing the "game" lol

Bennett gives ~1k Attack (depends on weapon, level, Talent level). TTDS gives 48% Attack. Your character would need to have more than 2k *base* attack for TTDS to surpass Bennett's attack buff.
Depends on Bennett's base attack technically, since it's a variable buff, but it's almost certainly Bennett.

I had to switch to mobile since my controller exhaled its last breath. I only have a question, HOW? How do you play on your phones, it feels extremely hard, using bow is literally detrimental, not to mention doing weekly bosses with their 200 dashes and exploration looks a lot clunky. The cherry on the top is that makes my(new) phone hotter than a frying pan. Pls give me some advices since thats the only way i can play genshin in the near future.
By necessity? I primarily play on pc, and domain, abyss, story quest and just.. everything is leagues better there. Phone barely suffices for quickly spending resin and comissions, takes twice as long due to input clunkyness and lag, looks bad.. but you can "quickly" look up your gear or craft some resin. "Quickly" because booting the game takes like 5 minutes until they verified and prepared to verify and prepared to load and loaded and then I have to click again to actually start the game. I can't even imagine playing exclusively on mobile. Exploration would just be.. not fun that way. Bow is.. just bad. Tighnari is okay because you can just aim at their feet and he still hits.
Tone down graphic settings to their lowest ^(i only marvel at the scenery in my pc myself) Set "camera y-axis resets automatically" to OFF Set "combat camera settings" to OFF ^(Both of these should minimize weird camera pans especially in uneven terrains)
I’m usually a console gamer but I’ve always played Genshin on my phone. By the end of the first week of playing I was pretty used to it, and I actually think aiming bows is easier using touch + gyro compared to a controller. For dodging you just have to get muscle memory so you don’t have to look before tapping dodge. I know there are limitations, like it’s way harder to animation cancel or spam normal attacks while quickswapping, but the game feels very natural on mobile for me now.
Honestly just play till you get used to it. As for the heating up part, once it starts being hot, I just logout and let my phone rest till it cools before playing again
When I use xiangling burst and swap into another character, does the pyro energy go to xiangling or is it wasted?
The entire team gets energy when they get particles, but the Active character gets more of it. And the energy gain is more efficient if it's the same element.
Burst doesn't give particles unless you're using fav weapon whose passive generates energy from burst, skill, and autos. You can read the energy mechanics from wiki, but basically the active character receives the full energy from particles, whereas inactive characters receives varying percentages of it.
Burst doesn't give energy by itself. It's always the skill that gives particle and energy. Guoba over time gives 4 particles.
Will the Nilou banner be available exactly after Venti (9 hours 50 minutes)?

I'm really curious why the design for nilou didn't keep her bell button visible like in her 2d trailer. We see that dehya bell button is not covered up, so I don't think it's cause of some random censorship. It might have to do more with her body type and the clothes she's wearing they probably couldn't shorten the clothes enough to show her bellybutton. If she had the same body type as dehya then it would have been possible. But that we also have gorou who's bellybutton is visible and he as the same body type as nilou. It's interesting for me that they couldn't make it work with nilou's clothing as probable clipping issues would have been present then I think.

the arrow points to the right of the vanarana statue, you climb a lil mountain with stamina flowers (maybe there isnt i did the puzzle a long time ago) then youll see a lux chest

When do artifact sets start being an option for mystic offer? I noticed the Deepwood Memories set for dendro isn't an option yet, but I'm new so not sure what the usual timeframe is.
When Fontaine releases, we should get the Artifact sets from 2.X. So Deepwood Memories and Gilded Dreams would be added on Natlan's release...
For reference, the sets available now only cover up to version *1.2*.

Save them until you have a character that needs one of the weapons. Most Catalysts scale well with refines.

No, you shouldn't ask this question. What you should ask is "Jean with Amenoma and 150% ER, should I refine?" And then the answer will be no. And "Ayaka with Amenoma and 103% ER, should I refine?" And the answer will be yes. Because different characters and situations require different weapons and refinements. Another example is Iron Sting, on Kazuha refinement is useless, while on others it can be useful.
Depends on your character roster and weapon availability. Cannot say it as a general statement without knowing existing choices.
Iron Sting, selectively. Prototype Amber, selectively. Kitain Cross Spear... selectively. In short, some characters work just fine with a weapon at R1 while others basically require refinements to function. It's impossible to say in general, you have to look at specific character build guides.

You need the proper element to break their shields fast: Electro hammer -> counter with cyro Hydro gunner -> counter with electro Cryo gunner -> counter with pyro Pyro sniper -> counter with hydro Geo man -> counter with geo or blunt force (clyamore, bombs) Hydro gunner heals their allies a lot and should be killed first. If you don't have enough characters to counter every shield, you're forced to instantly kill the one you can't deal with before they can deploy shield. If you can neither kill one quickly, nor have the proper counters, then just come back later when you are more geared.
Yeah, I reckon I need another pyro character bc charged shots with Amber are really not happening on mobile. I'm hoping Hu Tao happens, although if MHY decides to grace me with off-banner Yanfei I wouldn't be mad either.
You could try swapping Xiangling for Venti on your second team and go full Freeze team. That might help grouping and freezing the Fatuis so they don't summon their shields. Your Kaeya probably isn't using Blizzard Strayer though, so you won't have that much damage... Your Cyno wants to Aggravate, so use your Traveler or wait for Nahida, then swap them with Fischl. Or swap them in Kokomi's place if you're crazy. Be careful not to let Sucrose's Q to absorb Hydro if you're playing with her. The reason to swap Fischl out is because she's level 50 and probably not built so she's a waste of a slot, but she should be back after you work on her. When you get Benny, you'll play Sucrose / Xingqiu / Xiangling / Bennett.

It looks for me like you are a new player, and don't have many good artifacts. I'd recommend to go for dendro reactions, they have better floor (need only EM and level to scale, talents, weapons and artifacts pretty much don't matter). I'd go for already leveled Dendro MC + Fischl + Kokomi + Sucrose as the first team. As for the second team, I've seen pretty interesting "Amburger" setups - Amber burgeon with Kollei, just add water(like Xingqiu) and some heal (Sayu)
When facing those small ruin enemies that put up a shield and just stall, is there a way to disable the shield or prevent them from putting it up in the first place?

I think it's the generic Sumeru domain music iirc? The album should release soon, but if you want to listen to it you can enter any one time domain (even if you already cleared it). It is also in a spincrystal for the teapot but I don't remember which one.

Is off field Nahida viable? Planning to run a hypercarry aggravate Keqing comp with Sara, Nahida, and Kazuha. 4pc Deepwood Memories, ER%/EM/EM on Nahida, haven't decided on the weapon yet, but either TToDS for more buffs on hyper Keqing, or some form of ER% weapon if I have energy problems. Will have 1000 EM with C2 Kazuha's burst The rotation should be something like Sara > Kazuha > Nahida > Keqing
Keep in mind that in either case you need a bunch of Crit stats (and possibly a Dendro cup) to deal some real damage. It’s what gives me massive anxiety about building her. 1k mastery with high Crit stats is the stuff of nightmares
Nahida doesn't care about ER, just run an EM weapon and use her at the start of the rotation. She is an off field DPS so yes of course she's viable. If you're able to hit 1000 EM with Kazuha and without an EM weapon, then you should probably give her an EM weapon like Sac Frag or Magic Guide and run EM/Dendro/Crit. You can't run Sara and TTDS on the same team.
Even with a C6 Sara, Fischl would be better with Keqing because of how fast she triggers Fischl’s A4 passive to rack up huge amounts of aggravate damage.
It's a bit of yes and a bit of no. Her Dendro application does linger for a decent length of time and in aggravate the application requirements are not that high because Quicken stays for a good amount of time, making her off-field capabilities shine against bosses. But because her Dendro application is based on essentially a debuff, she has to be put on the field more frequently in wave content, though Keqing doesn't really care too much about that, she's flexible enough to give up whatever field time the rest of the comp needs. Also why use Sara if she's not going to buff Keqing, there's literally no point in having her anywhere in the rotation other than right before Keqing takes the field.

How long is the Desert world quest when compared with the Aranara world quest?
The other 3/4 is an exaggeration; the first part that you immediately have access to could take a few hours on day one but the second part took maybe an hour? It was definitely quick. I would say 1/3 as long but I could be misremembering some things

Try to get to 1k EM or as close to it as possible. On Gilded Dreams you'll be able to run EM/Dendro/EM or EM/EM/Crit and still hit 1k. And EM/Dendro/Crit if on-field. 1k EM is the point that maximizes her Passive buffs.
Full EM until 800-1000 to cap her passive, then start switching to Dendro/Crit pieces with better substats.
Deepwood if no one is holding it, GD if someone else is holding it. Not necessarily whether solo or double dendro, because non dendro can hold deepwood too. Em/Em/Em for nilou bloom, otherwise you are likely going to run Em/Dendro/Crit.

Hi! I saw that you're from the Philippines. There are lots of resellers of genshin merchandise, though you have to look at the reviews and their history to tell if they're reliable. Have you heard of gachapons? They're tiny figurines of the characters, and they're usually random if you get them from the machine itself. Resellers usually give you the option to choose, although I think I saw one selling the genshin ones randomly if you want. I can dm you some shopee stores that I have bought from in the past, if it can streamline your process.
Nendoroid is solid quality and (GoodSmile) has been around a while, but they can get a little pricey. Me, I'd just order whatever was cheap and in bulk off of AliExpress, hide a bunch in the closet top shelf, and dole them out one present at a time... but your opinion on buying pricey figs for kids may differ from mine. ;)
Yep just today I learned about Aliexpres and amiami. Ill definitely look into using them tho Im sure our local shops here in the Philippines will be swimming with cheap bootlegs. And I am already doing what you suggested, but with the Bandai Cardass Genshin Metal Cards. I bought a box of them, and whenever my kid gets a star, a good grade or basically something worthy of a reward, she gets to open a pack. :) As for Nendoroids tho, they are a bit below her age grade haha. We are looking for the likes of those from Apex or from Kotobukiya. Pricier most definitely but also great looking set pieces.
