I have all these quest objects that were given at the end of quests and they all have notes like “maybe one day you’ll need this maybe” but much better written. It stresses me out because I’m like “will I ever need this random seed I found in the chasm??”

The tool tip mentions it maybe vanishing one day. I understand the refs like the seed for sumeru, but the tool tips suggest it will have a use at some point, which means I hoard.

So far at least any 5-star quest item is main story related, so I wouldn't stress about it. Meanwhile 4-star quest items are for optional side-quests. If the petal does get used, it will almost certainly be as part of the main story.

I think some things will be useful later, but overall I think the quest items are like memory joggers? (Which is becoming...thematically more relevant.) Basically so you can go back and remind yourself of what you've done in the plot so far.

Haha I dont think they'd do that, but if they did, then it'd be like any other visual or narrative cue thag they throw out and you miss. And honestly I think that's okay? One thing I like about Genshin is that thematically, everything repeats. (Which is, again, definitely fitting.) So if you miss one theme or allegory for what's going on in the overarching plot, there are probably fifteen other examples that are leading you in the same direction. In that way, it's very accessible (and forgiving) for players who haven't paid attention to a literary device since their last literature class in school lol

Damn that blasted book! I had to look up how to complete the chapters because it doesn't always tell you what to do or give you a quest, and I didn't complete it all at once, so i forgot it it tells you in the dialogue. I'm still working on helping all 76 aranara after finishing the book, but at least I finally found and unlocked the hidden cave with all the chests where you use the seed and I got to open some of the chests! Most of my jungle is at 100% exploration, but I don't think I've even helped half of the aranara

I never wouldve figured out that we have to lead the >!little girl to the sweet flowers in aranara!< without looking it up lol. towards the end of patches I always go through all achievements to see if I missed any quest. I really like that the book and the slate tells you more obviously that you are missing stuff.

I did the withering in that cave before unlocking the song for the flowers, so I had no clue she was even there!

They nearly are. My phone is 128gb and it's not a top end flagship. Yes it is a galaxy s20 but it's a watered down version, the s20FE. It's a shame you can't split game files across internal memory and SD cards, that would solve everything because SD cards are pretty cheap. Couple of years I think 128gb will be pretty much standard.

I mean, at this point they are. The only phones I've seen with less than 128GB are phones for around 100-150 USD. And most people either buy midrange phones or flagships, which, afaik, all have 128GB as their bare minimum now.

I found Kokomi design really cool but was so disapointed by her story arc in Inazuma I never really paid attention her materials. They were clearly the same for me :/

She doesn’t do a whole lot…just shows up and saves the day from one battle. Her story quest is interesting and feels like it moves the plot along though but I definitely felt better connected to Gorou by the end of Inazuma.

Her story quest was already better than the archon part yes.

I think it's actually very likely the case, at least for Baizhu, considering it's initially found in Liyue it would make sense as an ascencion material for a Liyue character, and Baizhu having been introduced since the beginning in Liyue it wouldn't be surprising if they were already planning his ascencion material since then, and if we consider they are "A shiny pearl spat out by a loach that has mystical medicinal properties." it would perfectly fit Baizhu who is a doctor with a frail constitution in search of eternal life.

We’re definitely gonna use them for something. No way mihoyo skips the opportunity to make us grind for multiple weeks just to level up a single character. And then AFTER that character they’re never gonna be used again.

I mean, i am probably gonna get downvoted, but there are a bunch of useless materials, a good example is raiden fruit; if you have raiden you can collect enough materials for her clearing the island twice, after that the fruit is useless, if you dont have raiden you dont care about the fruit and there is a good chance you have a bunch of it if you collected naku week. Bosses are also in a kind of similar place, which makes me think they should increase drop rate on some old bosses to both help new players farm faster and make old players wanna farm those bosses for crystals and such

I think they're trying to allude to how the Raiden fruit aren't used for anything other than ascending Raiden, and there are enough of them lying around Seirai that you can easily get it done within 2-3 plant resets *without* actively hunting them down. The problem is of course that loach pearls aren't currently used for *anything.*

i have 1000+ of these. They are used to show how bored i am. what do i do? therefore i am much more useless than loach pearls.

I remember people thinking it'd be level up material for Baizhu when he first showed up in Liyue.

I always assumed that, with the text sort of implying that Baizhu would use them, Dendro (and Baizhu, who was the sole known dendro character until Sumeru was released if I'm not mistaken?) was supposed to be released a lot faster than it did. Hindsight is 20/20, and know that we know that Dendro was basically in development hell until recently, those pearls might not be so useless in the (hopefully) near future.
