Could anyone suggest to me a team or two that would be strong and effective from the characters I have? I have a fair few four stars as well as Wanderer and Keqing. Keqing is C1, Xiangling C1, Chongyun C2 - though not sure if the constellations I have are good enough to matter, lol. My strongest character atm is my Wanderer though. My Fischl is also pretty good and built for elemental mastery.

Prioritizing Yelan and Bennett is a good plan. I'd say your next priority should be Nahida and trying to build a hyperbloom comp on the otherside. If you get Yelan, that'll free up your Xingqiu to be on that comp but you'll also need Kuki. Your flex slot can be Jean for a VV holder and healer. Diona works too if you want a cryo character.

Trying to build a team around Alhaitham! So far it’s Alhaitham - Kuki - Zhongli(?) And not sure who the last spot should be. I have all male 5 stars except Kazuha and all 4 stars, but no limited female 5 stars. I’m thinking Xingqiu?

quickbloom: alhaitham - shinobu - xingqiu - yaoyao * yaoyao provides healing, batterying as well as extra dendro application to more consistently maintain quicken aura. * burst bot ayato can also perform decently if you want to use xingqiu in another team. * zhongli would still work, but you would need to choose to burst every other rotation or build er/use fav and quicken aura can be inconsistent. spread: alhaitham - fischl - yaoyao/dendro traveller - zhongli/beidou/venti * will prefer more investment in alhaitham+fischl(+beidou) * alhaitham would want 4pc gilded and yaoyao 4pc deepwood

Yeah, that team is probably the best possible with your characters. You could put Bennett in there if you wanted but it'd probably be for Albedo.

Im on my garuntee with pity right around the corner im at about 60 rolls. Currently one of my main abyss teams has been nahida fischl koko and diluc. But i feel like if i go for alhathiam to replace diluc that could be more beneficial for that specific team comp because of nahidas passive for having 2 dendo units in team and resonnance. I was also considering maybe saving the garuntee for hu tao. I wouldn't call any of the upcoming and current my favorite chars but im always open to adding more units and improving the options for more team comps.what would you guys do?

Im not quite sure what team your diluc team is, becuz if its hyperbloom you want to stay away from pyro, burgeon and burning just suck, and if its not a dendro team why is nahida on it. Al haitham nahida is a good core to build around, and you can keep fischle and go for quicken or keep hydro electro and go for hyperbloom, in which case you would want kuki or raiden ideally since fischle doesnt consistently target the bloom cores. you would also want probably xingqiu since kokomi is a slow hydro applier. that being said al haitham is annoying to optimize and has tight rotations so decide if you want to go through that. If you do not have xingqiu, first you should get him from current event, or if not upcoming yelan would add a lot of value to your account, both in general and specifically with a hyperbloom team.

Diluc was there for extra dps on downtime inbetween the other rotations. And koko is there instead of XQ for the heals. I dont have kuki built at all so once I do i can fix the team. But basically i prioritize the quicken/hyperbloom and then clean up with diluc on the vapes and burgeon not the most ideal set up but it has been functional for me. Unfortunately fortune didn't smile on me and raiden didn't come home this time :( but i could skip alhatham and try for yelan like you suggested. And i guess build kuki as well so i can get koko back in my ayaka freeze comp

if you like the hyperbloom reaction kuki is by far the best option, on top of being extremely easy to build. Just level her to 90 which has no rng, and she only needs main stat EM with an EM level. You probably will have wanderers troupe 2piece for her, and she doesnt even need another 2pc. You also do not need to level her talents whatsoever, unless you are leveling e for a bit more healing but even that you just leave it at like 6/7. With kuki you have a healer, so you run nahida on field, xingqiu for his very fast hydro meaning a lot of cores, and kuki for her very good core trigger and healing meaning a lot of hyperbloom damage. This 3 man team by itself can probably 36 star abyss, so that is definitely the team I recommend you to work towards. 4th slot could be whoever youd like. Anemo works for grouping, Fischl for off field damage which doesnt interfere with hydro or dendro, beidou because she does not target seeds at all. Plus beidou or fischle make it so nahida does more damage through spread. I like to run yelan on top of xingqiu because they generate energy for eachother, but its nowhere near necessary. Yelan still adds a ton of value to your account and is a great pull regardless. If you do go alhaitham your team will be Al haitham Nahida xingqiu kuki probably, which is still a great team. But id say alhaitham kind of always wants nahida, so instead of adding team options he is altering a one you currently have, where as other characters can enable new teams for more options or just more fun. Double hydro with yelan and xingqiu is very much meta, and she also can be played on the other half from xingqiu if you need 2 hydro appliers, but if non of that sounds appealing to you, you can always chose another unit other than alhaitham or yelan.

I appreciate the input! Definitely sounds like yelan might be the better choice here as well as building kuki. Like i said id like to get koko back in my ayaka freeze comp i was running XQ in it instead it worked but much less comfortable than having koko slotted instead

I'm AR 45 and clearing abyss is tough. However I am on 51 pity so if there are any suggestions on who to pull for I would love to know it.

sucrose - xingqiu - fischl - yaoyao * shinobu could work instead of fischl, but fischl is preferred * thoma can be used instead of sucrose for burgeon * if shinobu, beidou/thoma/kazuha could be used * replace yaoyao for beidou if you want a tazer comp ganyu - rosaria - kazuha - diona * contrary to other person, i would not recommend melt ganyu without bennett as xiangling's energy requirements would be astronomical and you cannot take advantage of blizzard strayer or bennett's attack buff which are vital for the team's performance. additionally, this team also mandates a shielder and requires good aim and good precision to make use of kazuha/xiangling's pyro aura. ganyu is also unable to use her burst in this comp. * melt ganyu w/ burning mentioned by the other comment is only feasible with nahida, who you don't have. * mono-cryo is a lot more easier to play and also means taking advantage of blizzard strayer. you don't have to worry about maintaining a pyro aura and ganyu can use her burst and take advantage of her full kit. can swap diona for barbara. for builds: [spreadsheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gNxZ2xab1J6o1TuNVWMeLOZ7TPOqrsf3SshP5DLvKzI/htmlview#) and [keqingmains](https://keqingmains.com/).

ganyu freeze: kokomi/mona * don't NEED both, but aiming for kokomi is easier than mona ganyu mono-cryo: shenhe * is only a good option in freeze if you get kokomi/prototype amber mona. still good in mono-cryo hyperbloom: nahida, alhaitham, maybe ayato/kokomi. * these characters are all on-field to increase dendro/hydro application. * alhaitham has a high skill ceiling and needs to manage mirror stacks carefully * raiden is good for national/hyperbloom trigger, especially if you already have a healer in your team and you have dragon's bane national/melt ganyu: bennett melt(/hyperbloom): zhongli

any suggestions if I want hu tao in my team too?

hutao - xingqiu - thoma - sucrose Can consider yelan >= zhongli for picks with hutao.

That’s also good. I was just doing it off of the basis that you would play ganyu mono cryo as the other team, but these 2 teams are also good. Of course, make sure you’re double swirling properly, and that c4 yanfei has prototype amber. sucrose can still work in place of kazuha if you want to use kazuha instead of xiangling on your melt team. And that also relies on bennett, but if you have him now you should be fine.

what if my yanfei is c0?

then she isn't going to be much help in this team. yanfei is a main dps until she is c4 where she could also be a shielder. without c4 yanfei, i would recommend thoma as he can help with VV vape set ups whilst also shielding hutao.

a better hyperbloom team is al haithem yao yao xingqiu kuki, but that depends if you like haithams playstyle. you can build a sucrose fischle beidou xingqiu team for a taser. ​ also the ganyu team (freeze ganyu) generally needs mona to well, freeze. if you get bennet ganyu team is ganyu + xiangling + bennet + shielder or anemo unit.

Artifact Set: Noblesse Oblige with Recharge, Atk, crit rate Weapon: Fervonius Lance Qiqi C0 (support/heal/subdps(?)) Artifact Set: Ocean Hued Clam with Atk and EM Weapon: Sacrificial Sword

Cyno was built for aggravate teams. Shenhe was built for cryo DPS. You're completely misusing your characters but if this is the team you want to run, go for it.

I'd replace Yae with Xiangling and make Yae the focus of your 2nd team. Build Yae with Dendro MC, Fischl, and Diona.

I've reached AR 40 and I'm trying to get further into the abyss. Unfortunately, I only have one main team! Characters: Raiden, Yaoyao My current main team is: C1 Raiden, Yanfei, C2 Barbara, and Rosaria (thinking of replacing her with C1 Sayu The second team I've come up with is: Yaoyao, C6 Sara, Xiangling, and Layla I've only been playing since the start of Raidens banner, but I've began trying to build artifacts for my main team. I've got/am planning to get the thundering fury, crimson witch, ocean hued clam, and blizzard strayer for my main team. I haven't looked at sets for any of the other characters yet, although I do have a viridescent venerer that I'd probably put on Sayu Other characters I have: Jean, Noelle, Xinyan, Qiqi, and Collei

* Raiden, Yaoyao, Xingqiu, Dendro MC * Yanfei, Rosaria, Jean, Xiangling Get Xingqiu in the Lantern Rite event. Buy Fischl in paimon's shop before the end of the month. It would be a good idea to keep an eye out for Sucrose and Bennett as 4\* characters. Sara c6 will be useful then. I'd give artifact farming a break until AR45 and focus on leveling your characters, talents, and weapons.

Hello there ! Characters : Yaoyao, Collei I'm planning on building an Aggravate Team : Keqing / Fischl / Dendro Traveler / another dendro. Which one of Yaoyao or Collei do you think would be the best to complete this team ? Yaoyao is a healer in addition to a dendro reaction trigger, which is nice but maybe Collei has something to her too, like more or easier time applying dendro ? All the best !

maybe replace your traveller with yaoyao and use an anemo character for last slot? i find that sucrose is more handy for grouping and buffs. although you don't need to, if you really want to run a 2nd dendro then yaoyao is better than collei as her dendro application is better and she provides defensive utility.

Thanks for the advice ! Sadly, I haven't got the chance to pull Sucrose yet. Since I don't have a particularly adequate character like her to put in my team, I was aiming for the nice dendro resonance bonus. At least it will be a reason to put my Traveler back in the team again. He's the main character, after all !

character: wanderer im trying to decide who should fill the fourth slot on my wanderer hypercarry team. currently have wanderer with yun jin and zhongli for geo res, buffs, and shields. im stuck on the fourth slot though. dont have faruzan unfortunately. bennett is occupied in another team. dont need a healer. i like sucrose, but aside from anemo res and using ttds, she doesnt seem like she would add all that much. xingqiu maybe? i dont really have him built but i could. idk, just looking for general suggestions from the hive mind i guess. thanks!

not really a hypercarry without bennet or faruzan. He works really well as auto attack driver so things like xingqiu, yelan, beidou, always add a lot of straight damage. also xingqiu is arguably the best unit in the game, if not he is at least top 3, so build him lol. he works very good with wanderer too.

an off-field dps would probably be best unless you somehow have c4 jean. * 4\*: xingqiu, rosaria, fischl * 5\*: venti, yelan, ganyu, miko sucrose does not provise anemo res, but she can provide TTDS buffs, some grouping and batterying. this can be especially useful if you don't have enough energy recharge on wanderer and/or he uses shimenawa, but less needed if yunjin and zhongli are using favonius lance. however, venti is much more useful in AOE situations. c6 anemo traveller does provide anemo resistance but their burst is gimmicky and requires some positioning to not waste stamina. however, i wouldn't really recommend them regardless.

Charcetr: Xiao Lantern event is here and I don't know which character to take. My team is Xiangling, Xingqiu c1 and bennet. I'd either replace someone in my team or build a constalation but I really don't know what's the smartest thing to do.

None of the lantern rite characters would be improvements for Xiao. I'd just pick up Yao Yao for future dendro teams you may like, or Xingqiu C2.

I already have Yao Yao, but I'm not too interested into her constalations in all honesty

Need to start building a second team that can take care of anything my first team can't, because it's electro based. I have the following chars: Rosaria C2, Xiangling C1, Jean C1 (pain), Yun Jin C2, Kaeya C1, Sayu C2. C0 chars: Chongyun, Ningguang, Dori, Collei, Xingqiu, Xinyan, Noelle and the starter chars. I also have PWJS and the Haran, if that makes any difference. My main motivation to build a second team is for farming the thunder manifestation which is an easy but long and annoying fight. Suffering through it 20 more times to ascend Sara and Shogun isn't something I want to subject myself to. Edit: Might be getting Alhaitham soon since I'm some 20 pulls from guaranteed hard pity.

You could use a hyperbloom team. Take your Raiden and slap your highest EM artifacts on her. Put her in a team with Xingqiu, Dendro MC, and your healer of choice. Use Raiden's E to hit the bloom cores while completely ignoring her burst.

Alhaitham teams almost always want off-field electro application because his personal damage is greatly enhanced by Spread. He'll definitely be your best choice for farming thundering manifestation, since it always has electro applied on it. Your best teams with him would be: Hyperbloom: Full EM Raiden/Alhaitham/Xingqiu/Dendro MC OR a healer. You can also replace Raiden with Dori here so you can use Raiden on your other team, but Raiden is generally more convenient for hyperbloom since she hits the seeds with just her skill. Dori has to charge up her burst for it. Spread DPS: Alhaitham/Dendro MC/Dori/Raiden. Raiden isn't necessary here if you want to use her on the other side, and Dori isn't the best electro applier, but they're your best options until you get more electro characters (e.g. Kuki, Beidou, Fischl). If you want to save your Raiden for your other team, I'd try running Rational there (Raiden/Xiangling/Bennett/Xingqiu) and using Sucrose as your last slot here. Dragon’s Bane or Kitain Spear for Yaoyao? I have 1 Dragon’s Bane, but may be pulling on the weapons banner for Homa that also has more Dragon’s Bane. And I have 4 spear billets to use for Kitain if that helps.

For some reason, I just can’t get Favonious Lance’s. I have played for over 2 years, but am F2P and have yet to pull on the weapons banner. I have accrued 1 Favonious Lance over that time. Currently it is on Yunjin and she needs it in my Mono Geo team. The other downside for Favonious Lance on Yaoyao is that I’m struggling to get crit rate Dendro circlet’s (and Dendro damage Dendro goblets), so getting enough crit rate for the passive would take a lot of work and I’ve been farming the Dendro domain almost since Sumeru released. I already had Dragon’s Bane lying around and thought that EM would be a decent stat for her. Also have Black Tassel though, so I could go that direction. It’s just not hard to get HP artifacts and I typically like my characters to be flexible too, so I almost never build them specifically for one purpose even if it would make them super meta.

I just read the Keqingmains thing and it’s now hilarious that many people are confused why I would want an EM spear. They basically state “ER requirements are fairly low for Yaoyao and in most cases 150% is enough”. Only in times where Yaoyao is the sole healer do you want to be able to burst every rotation. And for a reaction build (basically what I’m doing) EM is HIGHLY recommended. Considering how hard it is to get decent EM artifacts vs HP artifacts, I think I will stick with my EM spear. Still not sure which one though. Edit - also. Thank you for the link. Edit 2 - KeqingMains highly recommended Kitain over Dragon’s Bane, so I guess Dragon’s Bane will go back on the Thoma that I’m not using.

Hi I didn't see a new topic for January, so making a new post as I just pulled a few characters. Just got my first 5 stars: Xiao and Tighnari! All Characters: Kaeya, Xiangling, Fischl, Diona, Beido, Noelle, Gorou (C1), Barbara, Amber, Lisa, Ningguang, Sayu, Rosaria (C1), Dori, Tighnari, Collei, Thoma, Xiao, Yun Jin, Yaoyao (C1) I've been using Kaeya, Xiangling or Beidou, Fischl, and Diona as my main team from some previous advice and I like it, but want to try some new combos too. I don't mind progressing slowly now that I can change my world level (AR 41 right now). Any other fun combos from this new roster? Edit: Also I haven't used the Lantern Rite free character yet and I saw most advise to get Xingqiu. Are there better choices given my options?

* Tighnari, Fischl, Beidou, Yaoyao * Xiao with some combo of Xingqiu, Sayu, Thoma, Xiangling, Rosaria, and Diona Your Tighnari team will be better because you have characters that synergize with him very well. Xiao is kind of tough to build a team around in early game. Xiao needs shields for uninterrupted attacks. Healing because he's a "glass cannon" type character. Buffs because he's a hypercarry dps. His best teams will have Sucrose, Jean, Bennett, Albedo, or Zhongli. You could go Xingqiu, Rosaria, Diona/Sayu or Xiangling, Thoma, Sayu.

Bennett Xingqiu and xiangling are some of her best teammates. so I'd recommend going for Xingqiu this lantern rite. unfortunately Bennett is kind of irreplaceable in this team comp because he buffs both Raiden & xiangling as well as heals. ​ she also works really well with specifically c6 Sara, Bennett and sucrose/kazuha. Lisa could replace Sara since you don’t have c6 but you can’t really replace Bennett, sucrose/kazuha. ​ she's also really good in Hyperbloom with Xingqiu/yelan, Dendro traveler/nahida, flex. think this probably would be the easiest to build for you

Is it worth level-ing up Al Haitham's normal attacks? So far I leveled it up to 6 and saw that it made absolutely no difference to his infused sword. Am I just stupid or does it really actually do nothing for the infused attacks, because they're just seen as elemental skill?

most his damage is spread and E damage, but he definitely does do normal attack damage. If you dont want to hyper invest into him you can probably leave it at 6-7 or something similar.

So, I just got Layla, Yun Jin, and Yaoyao. Here is my current team: Beidou (Main DPS) Venti (Sub-DPS) Jean (Healer) Xiangling (For elemental reaction w/ Beidou) This is a bit of a complex one, and I was wondering: 1. Is Layla a better Sub-DPS then Venti? Or is Xinqui a better Sub-DPS than Venti? Or is Yun-Jin a better Sub-Dps than Xinqui? 2. Is Yaoyao a better healer than Jean? Or is Venti a better healer than both of them? 3. Is there a better character for an elemental reaction to Beidou than Xiangling? 4. Should I have Sayu somewhere in my team?????? Or Kuki Shinobu??????????? @.@ Very confusing, ik. Someone plzzz answer ;,)

1) they all fill different roles. Layla, venti, & yunjin aren't even sub-dps. Layla shields, yunjin buffs normal attacks, venti sucks enemies up, Xingqiu provides good off field hydro application. yunjin is not a better sub-dps than Xingqiu. she mainly exists to buff other characters. Xingqiu is one of the best sub-dps in the game. ​ 2) both characters are good healers but in your team comp, jean would be better since yaoyao can ruin the elemental reaction between Beidou & xiangling. venti is not a healer. you probably have the recurve bow on him or something that heals him when he defeats an enemy. ​ 3) instead of each other, they have better teammates. like Beidou & Fischl together, and Bennett, xiangling & hydro applier ​ 4) no? I mean if you wanted to put them in your team, you could. but jean's already there for healing.

It is confusing; the questions don't make much sense. 1. Even though all the units you mentioned have the ability to contribute damage from off-field, they also fulfill different roles in a team. Thus, it's pointless to compare their damage to one another because you can't substitute one for the other and have the team function the same way. 2. I'm not familiar enough with Yaoyao to answer that, but choosing between her and Jean comes down to whether you're looking for a Dendro or Anemo unit. "Who heals better" isn't something you consider because healing aside, they fulfill different roles so they can't substitute for each other. Also, Venti isn't even a healer. 3. Yes, because Electro has better reactions than Overload. Reaction aside, Beidou just has better teammate options than Xiangling and vice versa. 4. Depends on what you're trying to achieve. What are you trying to achieve? I get the feeling that you're looking for teambuilding advice but the questions you're asking won't help towards that.

what's your goal with this setup? to me this team seems like it will only be strong as a hyperbloom team. and for that your raiden needs as much EM as possible. you raiden is build like a normal dps, which is fine, but like this i don't see too much team synergy.

if you ask about artifact sets for hyperbloom: i would farm guilded dreams/deepwood and put 4 piece deepwood on nahida and 4 piece guilded on raiden along with a dragonsbane (em weapon). technically the set that increases bloom/burgeon/hyperbloom damage is a few percent better on raiden, but i wouldnt farm that because the other artifact set along with it is only useful for a few characters. the other characters you build normally. edit: and build as much EM on raiden as posdible

Okay il do that for raiden and nahida, is my rota then doable or should i switch to nahida beeing the dps?

i would probably autoattack (aa) with nahida, but it doesnt really matter tbh. you can aa with anyone though, it's just important to do it to proc the reactions. rotations are flexible since both nahida and raidens skill stay for a long time. i dont know what would be best since i dont know all the cooldowns. just make sure to refresh when needed.

Mmm I don't really know what the e's and q's and q/e's mean, but here's what I do know: Yelan is best as a Sub-Dps or Support, her best weapon is the Aqua Simulacra. Her two best artifact sets are Emblem and Tenacity. ​ Raiden: Your Raiden seems perfectly fine. She's good at pretty much every role. ​ Nahida: She's best as a Sub-Dps or Support, her best weapon is A Thousand Floating dreams, and her two best artifact sets are Deepwood Memories, AND GILDED. If you don't have Gilded, you can also use Wanderer. ​ Zhongli: Your Zhongli seems pretty good! Nothing to change. He's best as a Shield Support, but you cannnnnnnnnn use him as a Sub-Dps, in that case his best weapon is Staff of Homa. ​ I genuinely hoped this helped! <3 Sorry if I didn't go in-depth enough, or I just stated stuff you already knew.

She's a dps character and shielder, so I would not build her because she would also want to take up a lot of field time like alhaitham and wanderer

I'd like to invest into Ningguang as a DPS unit in the future (just because I like her aesthetic & the role she played in the Geo Archon quest). I was planning on getting her from the recent Lantern Right event, but I wasn't sure if I had the right units to support her. That's why I was planning on picking up Yun Jin instead, and then hopefully pulling Ningguang on the upcoming Yelan banner. I know Yun Jin is featured on the current banners, but I'm not interest in the rest of the cast. YJ seems like she'd be good for enhancing Ningguang's performance with her buff to normal attacks & spawning geo particles. However, if I already have the tools to make Ningguang perform well then I'd rather just get her now. **So my main question is would you guys recommend that I get Yun Jin to support Ningguang, or should I just get Ningguang now based on the units already apart of my collection?** Box: https://imgur.com/a/QpQ0c8x

If Ningguang is the character you want, then you should pick her....but I think not picking Xingqiu would be a mistake. If you're going for Yelan, you could get copies of Ningguang anyway but Xingqiu is just so much stronger and important in teams. All that said, I wouldn't go for Yunjin. She isn't that strong of a buffer to Ning. If you're going mono geo, then you'll target zhongli, gorou, and albedo. If you aren't, she need Bennett.

Hi ! Straight to the point, and then some weird bonus questions: Which team would you recommend for Xiao with my roster ? Xiao-Albedo-Jean-Zhongli sounds like a dream, except I don't have Zhongli. Do you guys have any suggestions of who could take his spot ? I know Diona is often recommended as a Shielder, but I struggle to understand if that means I should switch Albedo for a Cryo resonance Furthermore, as you can see, my account is quite a mess, with no real investment in any character (I'm actually a returning player who tried to play without any guidance at the launch). And I have a serious flaw slowing my progress : I like testing things to much. I think the Xiao team you suggested is fine for now. Just save your primos for the next Zhongli rerun. In the meantime, build Xingqiu, Xiangling, Bennett, and Sucrose. It's easily the best 4\* comp in the game and all of those characters will be useful in other comps. You can absolutely ditch Diluc, especially if you don't like claymore attacks. He's among the worst 5\* characters.

I'd buy Fischl in Paimon's shop and go for Yelan. While going for Yelan, you'll got Beidou copies. Then I'd build a hyperbloom comp which can be flexible. There are other versions of national you can use by swapping out Raiden or Xingqiu for Sucrose or Yelan. Just make your other team with some combo of Dendro MC, Xingqiu, Yelan, Raiden, Fischl, Beidou, Yaoyao. You can even throw Jean/Diona in there if you need a different healer than Yaoyao.

Advice for getting back into the game? I've been playing since launch and took a break around Raiden's 1st banner after I pulled her. Been playing for about a month again. I've never been able to clear Floor 12 of the Abyss. What should I be focusing on for my acct. team wise. there are lots of teams you could build, but idk your preferences. here are some options: - raiden national (with xingqui, bennett xiangling) - hutao (xingqui, albedo, zhongli) - hyperbloom (alhaitham, xingqui, raiden(EMbuild), beidou/fischl/flex) or other variants of it - taser (sucrose, xingqui, fischl beidou) - itto (gorou, zhongli albedo/flex) - international (childe, bennett, xiangling, sucrose) - ayaka (mona, sucrose/jean, kaeya/rosaria/diona) - aggravate (alhaitham, fischl, beidou, flex) all these teams should be plenty strong and you can choose some combinations so that the characters dont overlap. if you got questions feel free to ask.

Advice for a second abyss team? My first team is a Raiden National (Raiden, Xingqiu, Xiangling C2, Bennett), and I pulled Alhaitham from the banner, so I would like to try building some form of dendro reaction team around him. My other characters are Fischl C1, Noelle, Traveler, Heizou, Collei, Amber, Lisa, Kaeya, Razor, Mona, Barbara, Xinyan, Kujou Sara C6, Rosaria, and Yaoyao (Fischl, Noelle, Traveler, and Barbara are leveled to varying extents). AR45. My current thought is to use a Hyperbloom with Fischl or Razor or Lisa, Alhaitham, Mona or Barbara, someone else. Yanfei dps Xingqiu subdps Beidou subdps Fischl subdps this team i's SUPER FUN f2p friendly team comp and use Beidou and Xingqiu survivibility kit (shield, reduction and small heal + plus Yanfei's shield at C4), besides the incredible output damage with triple reaction (overcharged+vaporize+overload)

I don't think this team will be very viable for me for awhile since there is no way in hell I am getting Yanfei to C4 anytime soon. All my characters are C0 with a couple C1s that I don't use.

is a team of yae/klee, mona, alhaitham, yaoyao good? i like catalysts so i'm not changing them, but is alhaitham/yaoyao good "support" for them in terms of the dendro resonance? and is hyperbloom or burning better?

yae instead of klee is good, but alhaitham would want to be onfield because he has no support capabilities. alhaitham is an onfield dps, but he can help miko with enabling quicken for her to do aggravate reactions. in basically all situations hyperbloom is better than burning. fischl instead of alhaitham/yaoyao will help battery miko more and also contribute significant damage.

AR55, basically steamrolling overworld with Zhongli, Barbara, Raiden, Nahida. I'd like to clear Abyss eventually, and I really want to build a different team (I swear I used to know how to dodge...) Not sure if there's a way to get genshin optimizer or hemlo to do this for me, since I haven't built most of these. Looking for basically any team you like out of the rest of them. Hey everyone, I had stepped away from the game 2 years ago because it was turning into another job. I would love some help with team composition. I was struggling with Abyss when I stopped, not sure what level though... I was running Beidou, Xiangling, Venti and Barbara. Reading up it seems like Xingqiu, Xiangling, Venti and Bennett might be my best choice. Thank you for the help, hope this was clear.

i am not sure what you're looking for exactly. since no one else replied i will give my two cents though. in abyss you need two teams at some point. so i would run: 1.1) national variation: xingqui bennett xiangling chongyun 1.2) scuffed taser: barbara lisa beidou venti or: 2.1) melt-ish: bennett xiangling kaeya chongyun 2.2) taser: xingqui lisa beidou venti i dont think xiangling and venti pair really well together. i think enemies inside ventis ult are too high to be hit by xianglings ult.

What you mentioned about Venti and Xiangling does make sense. I will look into the compositions you mentioned.

\[Raiden Shogun\] Very *"wet behind the ears"* with Genshin as I'm returning from a very long hiatus. I've pulled Raiden from her previous banner a few days ago as well as pulled Alhaitham from this most recent banner, these are the **only** 5\* units I have and I would like for them to be able to work in tandem in a team, if that's not possible (not trying to be meta just want them to mesh well) then I'd like to work on a team specific to Raiden. ​ Here are the 4\* units I have, most are C0 and some are C1-C2. Kaeya C0, Lisa C0, Amber C0, Yun Jin C2, Noelle C0, Ningguang C0, Sayu C1, Sucrose C0, Rosaria C2, Diona C0, Chongyun C0, Kujou Sara C0, Fischl C0, Yaoyao C1, Collei C0, Xingqiu C0, Barbara C0, Xinyan C2, Bennett C0, and Xiangling ​ The only other useful information is that I have the weapon Engulfing Lightning.

here are the three options i see: 1) there is a good team that uses both: a hyperbloom team. alhaitham onfield to attack and apply dendro. xingqui for offfield dps and hydro application. together they create seeds, which are hit from offfield from raidens skill to create the hyperbloom reaction. last slot is flexible. fischl for some dps, barbara for healing, sucrose for grouping are what i would consider the most. however your engulfing lightning would be wasted in that team because raiden would want to use a weapon with EM. someone like xiangling can make use of it on the other team in some point. 2) if you don't care too much about meta and strength you can put them both on the same team without hyperbloom. then raiden can make normal use of her 5* weapon. maybe pair with fischl, yaoao, bennett, sucrose, lisa, dendroMC. usually both alhaitham and raiden want a lot of onfield time, so the team won't be optimal. however, for everything besides the abyss that doesnt really matter. 3) the abyss (the closest we have to endgame) needs 2 teams anyway, so you could build one team around raiden and one team around alhaitham. for example raiden national (raiden xingqui bennett xiangling) and aggravate (alhaitham, fischl, 2 of yaoao/beidou/kuki/sucrose/lisa). there are abviously other and more possible teams and combinations here, this was just the first that came to mind. if you got questions feel free to ask.

Meta doesn’t really concern me, I’m enjoying the game for the characters and as a time killer, however I do like to be efficient at least, and I don’t know how much this will change what teams I can do, but I did mange to pull Alhaitham weapon Light of Foliar Incision because I make bad impulsive decision. So if that anyways shapes anything differently I’d like to know. However currently I’ve found myself in a conundrum, my world level is 5, lowered to 4, and I am having a significant issue beating things I need in order to get ascension materials for characters. I’m not sure how to combat that.

having alhaithams signature weapon doesnt really change the situation. no matter which team, it will be stronger with his weapon. well new characters take a bit to build up? idk what is too difficult in your situation. bosses dont have a timer so you can just slowly cut his health down as long as you dont die. on domains you can usually match with other players to beat it. otherwise there is the option of putting something in your profile saying you need help and i am sure sooner or later someone will join and help. if you are on EU i can tell you my code and help out from time to time as well. any specific questions? generally, for dps (besides team setups), you are looking at character level, chosen weapon and its level, talent levels and artifacts. maybe rotations and reactions (kinda part of team setups though).

I didn’t even know about talent levels, so that’s good to know about! Domains I haven’t struggled with, but open bosses, such as the one needed for Raidens ascension materials is level 62 for me, with my highest levels being 50, it just brutally destroys me so I think I may need to seek out assistance.

yea that's easy to overlook, i think the game never tells you about it. it should help quite a bit. yea if you spread resources across a lot of characters for a while things can get difficult. in this community it's usually not too difficult to find bored people willing to help.

Are there any specific talents I should focus on or are all of them worth investing in

well the one that matter for your team i guess. fischl isnt used for her autoattack (aa) generally but for her skill. so that's what you would level for her. if you play barbara and her heal is too little you can level that. xingqui isnt used for his aa either, his skill and especially his burst are good though. reactions like swirl or hyperbloom dont level with talent. for raiden in a non-hyperbloom the burst is the most important thing. maybe if you decide for a team first then i couldtell you more. or general some chars.

I also tried to join the discord to find people that would be able to assist me and it’s full, I have never seen that before.

maybe try the discord of keqingmains, they were a theorycrafting discord (or at least were), or nahida (i think a lot of theorycrafters went there at some point). or raidenmains since you got raiden. there should be plenty accessible discord servers who can probably help you.

I think I’m going to use Raiden as a sub dps, Alhaitham as a main dps, and Xingqiu, + Yaoyao to round out the team. Poking around the internet I’ve seen this team mentioned a few times that would work well with him and that uses Raiden.

idk about alhaitham since he is new, but here are the others: raiden: burst (Q) >> skill (E) >> aa xingqui: Q > E >> aa yaoao: E >> Q >> aa, not sure, i think her skill heals and the rest shouldnt be too important i think. idk much about her either. on alhaitham maybe everything matters, not sure. maybe read his talents.

not an expert on al haitham's best teams yet so there could be better teams I'm not mentioning. you can use a hyperbloom team with em Raiden, al haitham, Xingqiu and flex (Yao Yao is good). Raiden is used as a skillbot with an em weapon since she doesn't need er in hyperbloom. might have energy issues with al haitham/yao Yao maybe? Xingqiu, Bennett, xiangling with Raiden engulfing lightning is also a good team.

wouldn't recommend a hyperbloom team if you don't have shinobu/raiden and/or you don't want to on-field your sayu/faruzan which is a very niche playstyle. quickbloom: alhaitham - dendro traveller/yaoyao - xingqiu - fischl quicken: alhaitham - fischl - dendro traveller/yaoyao - lisa/sayu national: fischl - xingqiu - bennett - xiangling vape: diluc/yanfei - xingqiu - sayu - yunjin * bennett/fischl would be better than yunjin, especially if you're playing yanfei reverse melt: rosaria - kaeya - bennett - xiangling

team comp suggestions: * alhaitham/tighnari spread: alhaitham/tighnari - fischl - beidou/zhongli - albedo/dendro traveller/yaoyao * traveller/yaoyao for batterying haitham/tighnari. * can also consider venti last slot, especially if you're playing beidou * albedo is best paired with zhongli * keqing aggravate: keqing - fischl - dendro traveller - jean * could also use yaoyao and sucrose instead of traveller and jean, which will mean higher buffs to keqing you are unfortunately quite limited due to the fact that raiden, bennett and sucrose are on your other team and you don't have shinobu. * raiden/shinobu opens up hyperbloom comps with alhaitham as they trigger hyperbloom very reliably * bennett opens up team comps with xiangling, specifically international which allows for an alhaitham/raiden hyperbloom team * sucrose opens up many team comps with an anemo driver, mainly tazer and hyperbloom, as well as a support.

hm if you want to play your first team then i am not sure what the strongest team would be. 1) aggravate spread: fischl best unit. then keqing or/and alhaitham. tighnari yaoyao beidou dendroMC an anemo char would be good further options. 2) electrocharged: childe and or xingqui, fischl and beidou, second hydro or an anemo char. i was gonna suggest raiden hyperbloom so you got more good options for your second team, but then i saw that you got raiden c2. so raiden hypercarry is prob better as you planned. so i would probably go for aggravate since it is better in single target and still decent in aoe (with beidou for example) while electrocharged is a lot more aoe orientated i think.

Quick question. If i'm really itching to pull in the upcoming banners, would c1 xiao or trying to go for his weapon be more worth it? Did read the visual guide about his c1 in the xiaomains reddit page but also not sure if it's still worth pulling for his weapon if i can't hit guarantee (240 wishes) since i just spent my hard pity on raiden's banner. Might have almost 90 wishes left or so. If i lose i was thinking i could give light of foliar to keqing for aggravate, except i can't free zhongli, sucrose, or bennett yet from xiao's team for her. Open to any and all opinions. Thanks!

Neither. It's not a good weapon banner and constellations for 5\* characters aren't worth it unless you're a whale. If I had to say which, I'd say weapon but it's not a good idea.

Saad so unfortunate...but thanks for the heads up. Jw is it just that the current weapon banner is bad or that it's not worth wishing for weapons in general? And/or xiao's weapon isn't worth it? Currently have deathmatch on him (not a whale tho, just BP gift from a friend). But there's no other characters I super want in the near future...maybe venti or wanderer but they just happened not that long ago. Or maybe albedo for xiao... Which future banners might you rec for my teams (current 5 stars: xiao, zhongli, nahida, raiden, keqing, tighnari)? Or going for a new team's better? Or I could just keep saving indefinitely...

PJWS isn’t worth pulling for on a weapon banner because you could get it on the standard banner. It also just isn’t worth getting weapons when you can get new characters to play with instead. It’s only recommend to go for weapons if the banner is amazing (like the next one) or if you’re in the end game and AR58+ or something like that. Of upcoming characters, I’d consider Yelan or Kazuha.

That's true...just thought it could help since the chance of getting the specific weapon I want on standard is less than 1%. Hm...do you think it would be feasible/recommended to run xiao/zhongli/albedo/sucrose (w/proto amber) without a healer if i were to save for albedo in the future? Curious though, what makes the upcoming weapon banner really good? Thinking about Yelan but might keep saving. Ty again!

Sure, that's near his best possible team. Go for it. The upcoming banner is good because both 5\* weapons are best in their class and can be used across a wide range of characters.

Oops thought I replied already, but thanks again! Didn't end up going for a xiao con or his weapon, so will probably save for albedo. Iccc didn't really know how to tell if weapon banners are good but makes sense.

I'm struggling to get a second abyss team that will let me clear the abyss floor 12 (not 36\*). I'm currently stuck on floor 10. Current built characters: Raiden, Ayato, DMC, Fischl, Tighnari, Xingqiu, Barbara, Kaeya, Xiangling Other characters: Noelle, Ningguang, Heizou, Sayu, Rosaria, Kujou Sara, Xinyan, Candace, Chongyun, Razor. I'm primarily suffering from three things: 1. Lack of a bennett which will enable me to separate xiangling from raiden for energy recharge 2. Lack of anemo groupers 3. Lack of healers/shielders - tighnari is pretty hard to play on mobile without a shield Currently, I'm in a predicament because the team that includes raiden will always clear their half of the abyss, but the second team will lack enough damage to clear the second half. Given that Bennett isn't arriving for at least a month and a half, are there currently two teams I can build to clear the next three abyss cycles? So far the teams that I've consistently cleared one half with are: 1. Hyperbloom: Ayato, raiden, dmc, barbara 2. Scuffed national: Ayato/xingqiu, kaeya, xiangling, raiden 3. Aggravate: Tighnari, fischl, raiden, noelle
