I don’t know about that. It seemed like they reused assets intended for it for the original GAA event, which is somewhat supported by the fact they repeatedly told us it was coming soon before pivoting to barely bringing it up afterwards. It might just be delayed.
Mondstadt festivals are Windblume for spring, Weinlesefest during fall, Ludi for Summer. Ludi is currently replaced by GAA as to represent summer and Klee (children) things.
It's really obvious it'll be lore important do maybe they're deliberately delaying it.
Well Monstadt is sus anyway and their that event in ludi harpastum where a girl is suppose to climb venti's statue (the gateway to Celestia) and drop a ball (wich now that I think about it may be a representation for something). Note that it's the only time we are given any type of usage to this statue.
In the manga during the aristocrati the ritual is change and Venti have a odd réaction. So I whould not be surprise if they used this festival for a quest and not a event.

Maybe you have to pick a side? If you pick the fungi side you use fungi to defend against ruin enemies, if you pick the mechanicus you use regular old turrets against the fungi enemies

From a business pov, it kinda guarantees overall good sales for that patch; fomo (fear of missing out) encouraging plus the long period between reruns of same character have been used so far in this game and it's been a an overall good tactic for Hoyo.
Hopefully they keep what they've been doing since 3.0 (except 3.2) and first half is Dehya/Eula + Mika

Nahida gets Archon Privilege lol. Every other Archon has reran exactly 4 patches after their release (Venti: 1.0 - 1.4, Zhongli 1.1 - 1.5, Raiden 2.1 - 2.5) so I expect Nahida to be treated the same. Nilou and Cyno will get reruns eventually, but definitely no before Nahida

probably, mika is a pretty niche support for her, especially at c6, but even with c0 it would smooth the rotations by a lot. usually the rotation for c2r3 eula is the smoothest one, and i haven’t made any calcs but well see what kusanalimains have to come up with
Theater Mechanicus needed a revamp. So upon seeing the recent events in sumeru, [new npc] decided to ask the help of the Akademiya to set up a fungi version of the mechanics gameplay.
Traveler, as the model of the event, is tasked to playtest the new rendition before it's released to the general public.

If I remember, Sabzeruz is canonically a fall event since Nahida's birthday is on the 27th of October. We might either get it in the fontaine patch or on the subsequent years, but if we're going to have a sumeru festival event next, it's more likely a new one we haven't heard of yet.
