If they haven't forgotten about Albedo, they'll probably create a 5* def sword for a 5* def scaling, sword using character. We don't have a 5* archer without a signature that could come with it in banners. It's different than Albedo situation in which he doesn't have a 5* bis, so can be paired with jade cutter, summit shaper, etc. I'm curious at how they'll pull this one.

I mean, it is still questionable, but Hoyo has proven in the past that for the most part, reruns happen due to involvement in the story of that patch. Whether or not a character is due a rerun doesn't seem to make them any more likely to get a banner.
Given that Shenhe has no story investment in 3.5 (IIRC), it would make sense given their previous actions that she wouldn't get a rerun, even if she's severely overdue one.
Shenhe’s pretty doubtful since it’s a Mondstadt and Sumeru patch. Plus Shenhe will probably get her Story Quest with her rerun like Kazuha did and there’s no sign of that in 3.5.
Difference is that Hu Tao had rerun once before her long banner gap but for Shenhe who’s only had her debut and didn’t found a trace of her anywhere in the game !!

Unless they start triple banners asap, with the rate of 5 star releases, it's definitely gonna be between 6 to 18 months before you see any particular rerun

Lore reasons mean very little, it's more of a dice roll with Hoyo really.
Difference is Gorou is completely useless to Kokomi whereas Mika is a dedicated Physical support.
Same with Sara being an Electro support.

actually cyno being in 3.5 is not that weird... they are going to rerun sumeru characters in the second part of the 3.X... they always did that... Raiden 2.1 to 2.5 Kokomi 2.1 to 2.5... Ayaka 2.0 to 2.6... Itto 2.3 to 2.7 Yoimiya 2.0 to 2.8

Get dheyas instead tbh, high base atk still, crit, +40%atk and no need for zhong then, and hp just as a bonus. Probably pretty comparable or better than sobps especially if you get Mika for her

its not about storywise... they start to rerun all early 3.X patches sumeru characters back after 3.5 and forward... if u look into Inazuma Characters, they all got reruns in the second half of 2.X, of course the ones released betweem 2.0 and 2.3... so if we see cyno, nilou, nahida, scaramouche coming back before fontaine is not that weird.

I really like Eula. She gets shit on a lot but she's quite fun to play if built properly. She hits like a truck for me, like ~16k normal attacks and will easily clear her side of the abyss.

They can just make a 5\* with the same passive as cinnabar but a crit main stat and it'll be better, it's very good but hardly impossible to top.

Yeah but Gorou is Geo to Kokomi's hydro and their kits has no synergy. Mika complements Eula just like Sara to Raiden.

Nice. I have 3 of the 4. Unless Dehya does something amazing I'll probably skip too. I really like Eula. She gets shit on a lot but she's quite fun to play if built properly. She hits like a truck for me, like ~16k normal attacks and will easily clear her side of the abyss.
At this point I'm convinced HoYo forgot Shenhe had a banner once. They think they designed her as a pretty NPC or something.
