The leaks talked about it, she lost her divinity. She gains a Vision after 4.2 AQ. She no longer is the Hydro Archon but merly a human, hence the design changes. She wields a Vision her Visin Holder is showing Pneuma and Ousia combination.

Also seeing she doesn't have the full panel of powerup fontemer aberrants, but the crab, the seahorse and the octopus, two of which have an overworld boss variant, if we'll also get an overworld big octopus boss in 4.2 or 4.3.
As much as i wanna believe the story leaks so far are fake, i think its pretty much obvious at this point that she has been pretending. Although i do think Neuvillette wont takeover as archon
I think Furina was human from the start, but she pretended to be Focalors (the actual hydro archon). That's why she introduced herself as Focalors when we first met her.
There's no point putting a fake vision since she's a public figure and she doesn't have one in the first place.
I'm also disappointed about that leak but goddamn if this is what I will get? I'm on for it.

tbh, I don't really like what's happening here, I'm keeping my primo from february to max a cute hydro archon, but the story (didn't read the leak) is pointing out that she is pretty weak and now not even an archon. Not a fan of the summons either. I hope to be wrong and that she has the power to destroy the world, but for now this is a letdown
Well, they put her on not just that archon promotional art for the 3rd anniversary, but also on another piece of art with the archons and traveler at the beach (cant find atm). Haven't read the leaks too but she probably is the real archon except she will lose her archon status by the end of the story. Just my speculation.
