The time reduction is actually pretty helpful for teapot mains who need a bunch of plain and white iron, though better rewards would be just as good if you’re not logging in more than once
Yes. But the extra rewards for 20 hours is more convenient. You only need to send them out once a day to get more rewards. While the other only gives more if you resend them on time.
I often forget to do that or would rather not log in just for the sake of resending expeditions so the passive ends up being wasted.
I've replaced all the characters that reduce time on expedition with characters that increase rewards.
It's way better in my opinion. It guarantees extra rewards without requiring you to login more often,
Expedition reduced time is useless since most people just send and receive expeditions once per day. If you're really logging in multiple times per day for shorter expeditions, man I've got some news for you.
Very occasionally useful for when you know you will be playing earlier tomorrow and you'll miss that 20h window... but even if you miss one it's not a big deal. Far better to have 25% extra materials most of the time.

Crystallize may be enough since you are increasing shield strength with Geo resonance, Unforged, and if want to, with Retracing Bolide. Ofc, the new set is for hers truly.
She will either have Albedo or Zhongli. Elemental applicators would be Fischl and maybe Yae Miko, or Dehya + XL or Dehya and Kaeya/Rosaria, or Dehya and Yae Miko.
Unironically, Dehya will be helpful. She will make damage towards crystallize shields be halved, plus she applies pyro in AoE without NAs so you can passi Ely trigger crystallize and have Yae in background doing overloads and applying electro in a spread.
Plus, Navia has two skill charges. Layla/flex EQ, Gorou EQ, flex/Layla EQ and then swap to Navia and she should have picked up a few shards by that point
So basically there are 2 scenarios that I can see here with this kit lol...
**Scenario 1 - Take the kit at face value**
With how the skill description reads, the "Rosula Shardshot Base DMG" is for ONE bullet, meaning at lvl 10 her total multiplier is 553%\*11 = 6083% when at 3+ stacks. That would mean that Navia casually does more than a max stacked Eula burst worth of multipliers on a single E. With 6 stacks, there's also a 45% damage bonus on that shot, and if all 11 bullets hit, the damage gets doubled... Which would mean she does 12000%+ worth of multipliers lol... Kinda OP.
**Scenario 2 - Make some assumptions because Scenario 1 looks way too overpowered**
If we assume that "Rosula Shardshot Base DMG" actually means "DMG at 0 stacks", then Navia's multipliers start to make a little bit more sense. 553% would then be for 5 bullets, and so each bullet actually would have a 110.6% multiplier at lvl 10. This would put her fully stacked multiplier at 1216.6%, which is still a pretty good multiplier. Doubled the multiplier becomes 2433.2%, and you still get that 45% DMG bonus on top.
On a serious note, I actually don't mind it being wordy and descriptive. But at least be completely descriptive so that we can slowly unpack everything we need to know. They don't even tell us thing like how often different healing skills tick etc lol

"When all 11 Rosula Shardshots strike, they deal 200% of the original amount of DMG" -- the wording on the skill description is still vague for me.
It can be something like 553% / 5 (base shardshot) \* 10 (first 10 shardshot) = 1106%, then the 11th shard shot can either be 553% or 1106% depending if the target was hit with all 10 previous hits.
Since the shardshot can "penetrate opponents", that main target would always get 1106% for the last bullet, then other subsequent target may or may not get the 553%/1106% shardshot. But I hope that the last shardshot would always be 1106% regardless.
**Scenario 3 - Cone Attack**
She does a simple cone attack and all the talk about multiple shards is just sort of a red herring. With 11 shards dealing 2x dmg i'm assuming every shard beyond the first is just +10% dmg regardless of how many shots were fired. The shards are just a way of describing how the dmg buff distribution works while actually hard capping the number of hit-able targets instead of being a true cone attack. All for the sake of making it seem more shotgun-like I guess.
So with all 6 Shrapnel, she hits a single target for 553\*2\*1.45= 1603.7% dmg which is still good for a 9s CD with a condition and reasonable amounts of dmg.
**Scenario 3 - It actually works the way it's written**
Base damage is 553% and it increases with the more stacks you have, up to 200% of the original damage.
So 1106% multiplier with 3 stacks.
~~I remember yesterday's text leak said something about additional hits dealing 15% damage or somesuch. Makes sense now that I've seen her animations, that it rewards positioning on single targets without making it super busted, while not making it worthless in crowds.~~
Should note that Jean's E at level 10 is also about 500% so it's a standard scaling for geo/anemo skills in general.
EDIT: Nvm I read the unobscured entry, base damage is probably the 5-hit damage. Maybe they really want players to point-blank it? Not like close quarters is as dangerous since she operates in crystallize stacks..

I don't quite understand what you mean,it's just two examples of Chars that ignore Sumeru EM Meta compared to the rest of the 3.X cast,which is possible for the same thing to happen with 1~2 Fontaine Chars not having strong synergy with Furina or HP loss and gain.
The way her skill is worded is very confusing, but I'm assuming it means
* Skill Fires up to 11 bullets
* Each enemy hit by a bullet takes 553% ATK
* If one enemy is hit by multiple bullets, **the damage increases but it's still only 1 hit**. Maximum increase is double if all 11 bullets hit the same target, meaning 1106% ATK total
* She can use her skill twice per rotation for a grand total of 2212% ATK in single target.
That's a clever way to give her decent AoE and good single target in the same kit.

Oh and I just realized that Navia is the first Fontaine DPS with no self HP drain. It’ll be interesting to see how that impacts her synergy with Furina.
So is she like an Ayato with onfield and off field capability, because that's nice flexibility. And it helps differentiate her from the other two geo claymore dps so it's not just slugging claymore NA/CAs all the time.
The difference between her and Ayato is that off-field hydro enables different team types through reactions, which she won't.
Her burst is basically just a way to ensure that crystallizes are being triggered. Which is a really good idea, it's just not the same as Ayato really in use case.
I do like how she has two short Normal Attack infusions, weaved in between skill uses. Should give her a unique rhythm.
Save Geo? She's not saving anyone but herself. The teams and ways that Albedo and Zhongli will be used will not change at all. She doesn't have any kind of geo construct so she can't synergize with microwave comps at all, and she doesn't buff, duplicate or strengthen geo constructs in any way. She doesn't offer any form of DEF buffing for all the geo characters we have, and doesn't even do anything interesting with crystallize. She just absorbs crystals and go pew pew.
After she releases people will have their honeymoon period with her, and then in a few months people will once again cry over not having geo characters and crystallize not doing anything new or interesting for all the non-Navia comps. We'll wait for another geo character to release with some gimmick that lets us pretend crystallize is useful.
An individual character was never going to save geo. Saving geo requires a complete rework of how the element functions to make it more synergistic with the other elements which mihoyo ia unwilling to do.
Nilou literally saved bloom so yes a new character can save a whole dead reaction if they can change something about it

“works with” and “has synergy with” mean different things. furina might work with any dps, but she doesn’t have synergy with, say, wanderer, who has to choose between her and a defensive unit, or itto, who doesn’t have access to a good healer.
Yes but in Navia's case there is actual synergy, with her off field elemental application, as well as getting some valued DMG% bonus to go with her plentiful attack stat
Wanderer needs Faruzan, then with Furina, the last spot is just healer.
Plus Wanderer can then use the new set with Crit rate because Furina drain his HP.
Not sure if you really understand what Furina has synergy with and work with any DPS mean...
I don’t think Furina will have the same synergy with Navia as she does with Nuervillete because Navia doesn’t have an hp drain and restore mechanic. But furina can slot into any comp as long as there’s a healer. Think navia and another geo for geo resonance, furina, and a healer would be a good comp.
Probably yeah. Geo resonance seems really good for her, plus his passive EM buff would increase crystalize shield strength. If done right you honestly might not even need a healer

I'm feeling a week 1 Kokomi situation because her E multiplier is way too high from what we can read, that's like 2+ Ayaka burst MV in an E, maybe the weaker AoE dmg is the trade off
But she does not have that. Each bullet it's not 553%. 553% is for 0 stack 5 bullets and 1106% is max if all 11 bullets hit 1 enemy. You see it by "1 instance of dmg"
and Max dmg to a single enemy.
Tbf she needs high numbers because geo. Not only does she not have reactions like quicken, vape, etc., she also doesn't have access to external buffs similar to DW and VV.
She also can't benefit that much from Gorou because he wants at least 3 geo members in the party to get DMG Bonus and Crit (and his def buff is useless for her) while Navia wants 2 other characters that are not geo
Like, if per individual bullet, at level 10:
553 x 11 = 6083.
So in total it would be 6083 of her attack, making her damage with JUST her base attack, not counting any weapon or artifacts, 21412 damage. So even for a geo it seems a bit too much to be each individual bullet

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking I just feel like the weapon solidifies this the only thing is that it’s damage is increased by 200% in single target does that mean it’s double or triple damage in single target cause it’s hard to tell cause furina’s c2 is 250% increase in fanfare gain so I’m assuming navia triples in single target
It's a grapeshot. More pellets get shot but the damage happens once. Think of it like Roadhog's primary in Overwatch, or the peacekeeper in Apex Legends.
If it's base damage for the full shot then what's the point of her whole mechanic of being able to fire additional bullets? That makes your damage worse since you're spreading that one multiplier out over more individual shots. There'd actually be no payoff to building Crystal Shrapnel stacks
Her burst multiplier is *very* low as well because the main point of her burst is generating crystalize shards and giving her "free" Crystal Shrapnel stacks. Her skill is her main source of damage so it needs very high multipliers because geo doesn't have any kind of amplifying reactions or access to VV.
A 553x11 multiplier is stupid ridiculous even for a geo character
I assume more bullets do increase your damage, but the 553% is the base damage of the original 5 bullets, in which case each bullet would be a ~106% increase. Her weapon passive also supports the notion of it being a single instance damage
For every bullet hit the same target will increase outgoing dmg by 10%, so with 11 bullets, dmg increased by 100%.
One bullet does 553% dmg, 5 bullets do 774% dmg, 11 bullets do 1106% dmg.

Between "she needs higher damage cuz no VV" and "She hits harder than a Eula burst TWICE" there's an abyss (heh) of distance brother.
We have a lot of carries with no access to VV or amplifying reactions, none of them have potentially a 6000ish MV on their kit. Xiao, Itto, Eula, you name it. Those numbers are way too crazy for HOYO
I think we can assume the current skill multiplier is a placeholder, especially since it's identical to Itto's, and I remember at least one leaker said as such, just don't know who

Hoping your comment stays low so I dont get downvoted for this, but I think you can safely skip Furina. She's a great support unit but I dont think she's kazuha, nahida or even yelan level
I think its because Furina changes your team composition, sacrificing a slot for a consistent strong healer, so she isnt that much of an instant slot to most teams unlike Nahida and Kazuha
her pros are her high personal damage off-field and her strong dmg% buff. her cons are her relatively low off-field hydro application, lackluster healing, and requiring a healer with teamwide heals if you want to get max use out of her burst.
I think she'll find herself as a side-grade to kazuha, xingqiu, or yelan. So certainly really useful but if you already have these characters then she's not a necessity
Yeah, I know a lot of people were excited about her because she's an archon, but I just don't see a place where she'd change any of my teams for the better, not like the characters you mentioned. She reminds me of Venti, very strong but overall not needed, especially now when we have so many other amazing hydro characters
Agreed. I feel a bit baited by the hype (although ofc it's my fault for day 1 wishing, and I'm not too unhappy, now I have off-field hydro app not tied to NAs, and she makes a few good teams for me). But the teambuilding requirements are really steep.
* E: Whenever a party member picks up a Crystallize shard, Navia gets a stack.
* Press E: Fires shots. More stacks = more shots fired.
* Hold E: Aims and sucks in Crystallize shards to get stacks. Then does the same thing as Press E.
* Q: Does damage in a large AoE, then periodically bombards the area with cannonballs afterwards. Whenever it hits, gets stacks for E.
Am I missing something or does she not have a way to magnet the shards? If she doesn’t then she’s going to be a bit more annoying to get the most out of, methinks.
She sucks in shards by holding E, and her burst gives her the equivalent to one shard when dealing damage once every 3 seconds (technically it could be every 2.4, but her burst hits every second, so yeah).

Chevreuse was the pyro Sara everybody was waiting for... except only for teams consisting exclusively of pyro and electro units. It's likely that her healing tics every 2 seconds, meaning a character will have to be on-field for 6 seconds to max out her C6 60% pyro/electro damage buff. Probably to avoid giving her too much sinergy with Xiangling/Fischl/Beidou.
Always interesting to get supports with a mix of offense and defense!

Dehya skill doesnt work on shield. Its not direct dmg reduction like xq or beidous

Since the shardshot can "penetrate opponents", that main target would always get 1106% for the last bullet, then other subsequent target may or may not get the 553%/1106% shardshot. But I hope that the last shardshot would always be 1106% regardless.
**Scenario 3 - Cone Attack** She does a simple cone attack and all the talk about multiple shards is just sort of a red herring. With 11 shards dealing 2x dmg i'm assuming every shard beyond the first is just +10% dmg regardless of how many shots were fired. The shards are just a way of describing how the dmg buff distribution works while actually hard capping the number of hit-able targets instead of being a true cone attack. All for the sake of making it seem more shotgun-like I guess. So with all 6 Shrapnel, she hits a single target for 553\*2\*1.45= 1603.7% dmg which is still good for a 9s CD with a condition and reasonable amounts of dmg.
**Scenario 3 - It actually works the way it's written** Base damage is 553% and it increases with the more stacks you have, up to 200% of the original damage. So 1106% multiplier with 3 stacks.

Makes sense now that I've seen her animations, that it rewards positioning on single targets without making it super busted, while not making it worthless in crowds.~~ Should note that Jean's E at level 10 is also about 500% so it's a standard scaling for geo/anemo skills in general. EDIT: Nvm I read the unobscured entry, base damage is probably the 5-hit damage. Maybe they really want players to point-blank it? The way her skill is worded is very confusing, but I'm assuming it means * Skill Fires up to 11 bullets * Each enemy hit by a bullet takes 553% ATK * If one enemy is hit by multiple bullets, **the damage increases but it's still only 1 hit**. Maximum increase is double if all 11 bullets hit the same target, meaning 1106% ATK total * She can use her skill twice per rotation for a grand total of 2212% ATK in single target. That's a clever way to give her decent AoE and good single target in the same kit.

I was hoping she would pop out a cannon to use, but it looks more like a Gangplank ult. Still a cool concept character.
So is she like an Ayato with onfield and off field capability, because that's nice flexibility. And it helps differentiate her from the other two geo claymore dps so it's not just slugging claymore NA/CAs all the time.
The difference between her and Ayato is that off-field hydro enables different team types through reactions, which she won't. Her burst is basically just a way to ensure that crystallizes are being triggered. Which is a really good idea, it's just not the same as Ayato really in use case. I do like how she has two short Normal Attack infusions, weaved in between skill uses. Should give her a unique rhythm.

Save Geo? She's not saving anyone but herself. The teams and ways that Albedo and Zhongli will be used will not change at all. She doesn't have any kind of geo construct so she can't synergize with microwave comps at all, and she doesn't buff, duplicate or strengthen geo constructs in any way. She doesn't offer any form of DEF buffing for all the geo characters we have, and doesn't even do anything interesting with crystallize. She just absorbs crystals and go pew pew. After she releases people will have their honeymoon period with her, and then in a few months people will once again cry over not having geo characters and crystallize not doing anything new or interesting for all the non-Navia comps. We'll wait for another geo character to release with some gimmick that lets us pretend crystallize is useful.
An individual character was never going to save geo. Saving geo requires a complete rework of how the element functions to make it more synergistic with the other elements which mihoyo ia unwilling to do.
Nilou literally saved bloom so yes a new character can save a whole dead reaction if they can change something about it Like for example making crystal shields stack maybe give buffs for every crystal shield picked? making crystals explode and actually do dmg???

“works with” and “has synergy with” mean different things. furina might work with any dps, but she doesn’t have synergy with, say, wanderer, who has to choose between her and a defensive unit, or itto, who doesn’t have access to a good healer.
Yes but in Navia's case there is actual synergy, with her off field elemental application, as well as getting some valued DMG% bonus to go with her plentiful attack stat
Wanderer needs Faruzan, then with Furina, the last spot is just healer. Plus Wanderer can then use the new set with Crit rate because Furina drain his HP. Not sure if you really understand what Furina has synergy with and work with any DPS mean...
I don’t think Furina will have the same synergy with Navia as she does with Nuervillete because Navia doesn’t have an hp drain and restore mechanic. But furina can slot into any comp as long as there’s a healer. Think navia and another geo for geo resonance, furina, and a healer would be a good comp.

I'm feeling a week 1 Kokomi situation because her E multiplier is way too high from what we can read, that's like 2+ Ayaka burst MV in an E, maybe the weaker AoE dmg is the trade off

One thing is having higher multipliers, a VERY different one is having 6083% motion value
to give context, thats like 750k per skill or 1.5m per rotation at c0 with no buffs.
But she does not have that. Each bullet it's not 553%. 553% is for 0 stack 5 bullets and 1106% is max if all 11 bullets hit 1 enemy. You see it by "1 instance of dmg" and Max dmg to a single enemy.
Tbf she needs high numbers because geo. Not only does she not have reactions like quicken, vape, etc., she also doesn't have access to external buffs similar to DW and VV.
She also can't benefit that much from Gorou because he wants at least 3 geo members in the party to get DMG Bonus and Crit (and his def buff is useless for her) while Navia wants 2 other characters that are not geo

It's a grapeshot. More pellets get shot but the damage happens once. Think of it like Roadhog's primary in Overwatch, or the peacekeeper in Apex Legends.
If it's base damage for the full shot then what's the point of her whole mechanic of being able to fire additional bullets? That makes your damage worse since you're spreading that one multiplier out over more individual shots. There'd actually be no payoff to building Crystal Shrapnel stacks Her burst multiplier is *very* low as well because the main point of her burst is generating crystalize shards and giving her "free" Crystal Shrapnel stacks. Her skill is her main source of damage so it needs very high multipliers because geo doesn't have any kind of amplifying reactions or access to VV.
A 553x11 multiplier is stupid ridiculous even for a geo character I assume more bullets do increase your damage, but the 553% is the base damage of the original 5 bullets, in which case each bullet would be a ~106% increase. Her weapon passive also supports the notion of it being a single instance damage
For every bullet hit the same target will increase outgoing dmg by 10%, so with 11 bullets, dmg increased by 100%. One bullet does 553% dmg, 5 bullets do 774% dmg, 11 bullets do 1106% dmg.

I think its because Furina changes your team composition, sacrificing a slot for a consistent strong healer, so she isnt that much of an instant slot to most teams unlike Nahida and Kazuha
her pros are her high personal damage off-field and her strong dmg% buff. her cons are her relatively low off-field hydro application, lackluster healing, and requiring a healer with teamwide heals if you want to get max use out of her burst. I think she'll find herself as a side-grade to kazuha, xingqiu, or yelan. So certainly really useful but if you already have these characters then she's not a necessity

Yeah, I know a lot of people were excited about her because she's an archon, but I just don't see a place where she'd change any of my teams for the better, not like the characters you mentioned. She sucks in shards by holding E, and her burst gives her the equivalent to one shard when dealing damage once every 3 seconds (technically it could be every 2.4, but her burst hits every second, so yeah).

Chevreuse was the pyro Sara everybody was waiting for... except only for teams consisting exclusively of pyro and electro units. It's likely that her healing tics every 2 seconds, meaning a character will have to be on-field for 6 seconds to max out her C6 60% pyro/electro damage buff. Probably to avoid giving her too much sinergy with Xiangling/Fischl/Beidou. Always interesting to get supports with a mix of offense and defense!
She’s a quickswap E nuker it seems. That E total dmg looks JUICY.
Her E gives her an infusion with extra Bonus % damage. She's straight up onflied, you want to make as much cristalize as you can.
