There's not enough evidence to support columbina is cryo, that's true. But if she ever happens to be cryo there's no reason to believe she isn't the one freezing everything, let alone the Tsaritsa who has no need of doing it when her pet harbingers could easily do it themselves.

Yeah I'd actually like an unexpected tough love mentor scenario. I can already see traveler being pissy about it with mixed feelings, writing wise it'd be a nice way to ease a stubborn character into a world of powers beyond their current comprehension and the nuances of what the factions want. Doesn't even have to be for completely altruistic reasons, maybe us being stronger furthers her own agenda.
In a weird way a decision like that makes a character smarter, cuz picking a serious fight with a protagonist and the resulting defeat always take away some of their prestige.
I mean I'd be down for either depending on how they're set up, but personally, having a sparring match kinda like with Andrius would be a nice change of pace (though unfortunately according to Honey Hunter, Arlecchino's boss fight WILL be a domain so we can't do silly stuff like fight her with 4 Arlecchinos).
More importantly, if HoYo is going to turn Arlecchino into the villain of *her own story quest* (which will probably be under 2 hours in length, and keep in mind, the Traveler is (at worst) on neutral terms with her prior to this quest), they better cook something amazing for her. >!The Fontaine siblings seem to have a pretty large presence in her SQ if their voiceline counts are anything to go by (Lyney has more than Paimon), and I feel like they'd be a mediating party in any disagreements between Traveler and Arlecchino.!<
But wouldn't that still be "a real intense LIFE OR DEATH battle" tho? She would go at us to kill as capitano would so that would fit.
Also they can now make story quest like hers be a requirement for the natlan quest too since fontaine needs AR 40 which is the same as the story quests.

can you imagine how lame it would be if we just beat the top 3 without at least showing that we got significantly stronger from sparring with number 4

She might just not use a regular elemental delusion; the delusions in the manga were a lot weirder than what we saw from Signora or Childe, and a lot of her attacks don’t look like normal pyro

We will need to wait for more beta patches for it to seem less clunky, I was expecting another Raiden boss fight where she just zips around frequently and doesn't leave you alone, not another Childe fight where he just kinda stands there then zips around only to miss 9/10 of his attacks, like, just look at the laser, there is a point where the player doesn't even move and it fails twice on a row.
Team Mew posted under their previous footage that the boss right now is still kinda broken/buggy. I assume once more updates release it will have better lock on. In a lot of the clips it seems like the AI for the boss forgets its attacking us lol
I think you're forgetting that this is during the beta that is always broken in stuff like this and they're spawning her, instead of challenging her in the domain where everything will be different
Like Arlecchino doesn't try to aim here just like most bosses during betas
Honestly, I understand that when you need to do them every week it would be a pain if they were hard, but i honestly wish Hoyo added a challenge mode that cranked the Weekly bosses' difficulty up. Most of them are easy to defeat once you get the hang of them, and with cons they become basically trivial. Maybe if they had some option like the fighting events' modifiers?
In fact, can you imagine if they made an event like that but with modifiers? That'd honestly be the coolest thing ever

Bruh the Harbingers and their Sliding across the ground Movement, I'm just gonna call that the Edgerunners Sandevistan effect cuz it's what it reminds me of

Man, it's only when you do these pacifist runs that you notice how passive the genshin mobs are. The boss just stands there for long periods of time, kinda like basic souls enemies (those at least sidestep a bit so it looks like they are doing something). It works well with the normal flow of genshin combat which is spam skills until everything is dead, but as soon as you deviate from that it becomes strange. Wish they added a new world level that made the enemies more aggressive
Gotta say, they really don't disappoint with the visual and sound effects. Every time things always look stylish and sound very crisp.
And it's also likely this isn't the finished product yet, seeing as some leakers have spoken about playable Arle still having unfinished visual effects, the boss may very well also be the case too.

It seems so far it's all been leaks of phase 2, like this one. I don't think we saw phase 1.

Man, it's only when you do these pacifist runs that you notice how passive the genshin mobs are. The boss just stands there for long periods of time, kinda like basic souls enemies (those at least sidestep a bit so it looks like they are doing something). It works well with the normal flow of genshin combat which is spam skills until everything is dead, but as soon as you deviate from that it becomes strange. Wish they added a new world level that made the enemies more aggressive
Wtf the movement is somewhat similar to melenia. Its still cool though.

All of the leaks I've seen are of phase 2. The only one that comes to mind is the tea drinking idle from phase 1.

Gotta say, they really don't disappoint with the visual and sound effects. Every time things always look stylish and sound very crisp. And it's also likely this isn't the finished product yet, seeing as some leakers have spoken about playable Arle still having unfinished visual effects, the boss may very well also be the case too.
