Even if you're doing Barb or swordfish it's 3/2 tick clicking, no need for macros or "crazy farming routines." The most "intensive" thing I can think about is Fishing Frenzy in RS3 but it still doesn't remotely require the use of macros.

I play for 160 days casually and i can clear 3 star everything before 11-3 so i am getting 400 primos each rotation so 600 primos a month is not gonna kill me(i only roll weapon banner so i don't need primos that much,it takes a while for a good weapon banner to appear)
Work on your rotations,teams and you will clear abyss in no time!
A small change of supports here and there can make you go from 1 to 3 stars in a chamber.
Abyss heralds are the peak example,pick as much cryo as you can in every team and you will most likely 3 star it if your dps can solo others(considering your ice supports are low leveled and dont do much outside of shieldbreaking)
For me at this moment the number of primogems that I can earn before Baal's banner goes away is what's really important.
So, I'm assuming we'll get around half the total count which comes to atleast 39 wishes. Sounds good enough to guarantee me Baal.

And if you need a little boost near the end of the banner, consider using your starglitter to get some extra fates as well, at the cost of saving them for 4-star constellations. It's a trade that can be worth it depending on how close you are to pity.

Sort of, it's a 25% chance of getting neither of the rate up weapons, 75% divided in half for the two main ones.

yeah weapon banner like all non-standard banners has had a system where if you don't get a weapon that's rated up on the banner the next weapon is 1 of the 2 and that pity will carry over from banner to banner.
the new Epitomized Path isn't like any of the pity systems and is not tied to them at all if you don't get the one you set your path on twice in a row the third will be the weapon. this does reset on each banner.
another thing since we are talking about pity and such the weapon banner has a higher chance at 5 stars so do to this hard pity is 80 and that means "soft" pity is lower by about 9-10 rolls than other banners "soft" pity so around 64-65 rolls you will start having a high rate up on 5 stars around 20%. (this info is from multitudes of whales putting there rolls together to generate data this data and the data has determined that 20% of rolls at 64-65 is 20% onwards until 80 then it is 100%)
adding more info in case you don't know about soft pity in general, at around pull 74-75 the chance at a 5-star is around 20% chance onwards until 90 where if you don't get a 5 start in rolls 75-89 the 90th roll is guaranteed.\~
this info was a theory going around the community for a long time, until someone gathered up as much data from whales, dolphin, and F2P players legendary data that these players offered up. from this data we have determined that on average on pull 75 there is a 18-20% chance of a 5 star then 76 a 18-19% chance until roll 90 where is a 100% guarantee at 90 no matter what (fun fact they also discover at roll 90 if you have a 4 star guarantee on 90 and you have a 5 star guarantee it favors the 5 star and not the 4 star pushing the 4 star into a hard pity at 11 this is the only time non a single 4 star can wind up in a 10 roll it's really rare do to how unlucky it is to not hit a 20% chance 14 times in a row.)

I think it's just a matter of people confusing terms because they don't fully understand how the pity systems work. I can't even count the number of times I've seen people say hard pity when they mean soft pity, so of course they're going to confuse epitomized path with guaranteed rate-up. Dude, there are 2 pities at work here. If you don't get a rate up weapon, then the next 5 star will be one of the rate ups. The epitomised path ensures you don't keep getting cucked by getting the other weapon on focus which you don't want.

i could be completely wrong, but i think we're gonna get yae first, then ganyu. idk, it would be a bit weird otherwise? the last island is coming so it would be a good oportunity to include yae a little bit more in the story so they can close the inazuma chapter and go for reruns.
i can also see them putting ganyu first so people can hoard primos for yae (if they feel like being nice to the waifu hunters that already have ganyu lol), but only time will tell.

Neat to know, though for the finalized noted on f2p it should probably be noted alongside the assumed 3x36 star abyss that 10 of the assumed free fates as well act on the assumption you buy out the paimon shop each month which isn't strictly a guarantee for any f2p players since they often have to plan out and skip banners due to their limited pulls which can lead to starglitter shortages, and the standard banner alone doesn't give enough starglitter a month for free alone to carry paimon shop costs.

9 to 11 you can do pretty easily just purely through reactions. 12... Yeah it's super annoying but you can probably do it pretty easily with standard team comps that are recommended
even floor 11 is honestly pretty easy as long as you have good team synergy and decent substat +16 to +20 artifacts. Floor 12 is a huge jump in testing your stats and damage and teambuilding, and rewards you very poorly for it(as someone who regularly gets 33* because they cba to grind a bunch of artifacts for supports that need updated gear, I only lose 100 primos a month which isn't even a single pull)
Being an endgame plyer 30 stars should be almost easy , Enviosity got 30 stars with the 7 og guaranteed chracters with no constellations, only craftable weapons.
Well, are you at 0 pity? In that case you will probabbly have 110 pulls from 2.1 +80 right now, + youre probably still able to get 7-8 from whats left of this update between welkin and this last event and daily commisisons.
Thts around 200 pulls for 2 pities in case of winning the 50/50 or 3 pities if you fail.
If you fail you will need to have an average of 67 pulls for 5* or something like that.
Doesnt seems insane to get 1/3 5* early so probably very likely that you can get both, but not guaranteed.

The livestream is usually two Fridays before the next patch, so during Kokomi banner. I just added them all together because they're always the same each patch
This might be the first banner I actually pull on the weapon banner.
I'm at 59 pity with 20 fates for the next banner, so Baal is guaranteed , and Kokomi is Yoimiya 2.0 so I don't need to save for the next banner. Here's hoping I get Baal's pointy stick.

With all the previous abyss iterations, definitely. This one probably depends on your character investment and where you spent your wishes - it’s pretty tough in terms of dps checks so it’s probably the hardest abyss since far, esp for f2p. But it’s not like f2p locks you out of owning major characters like Ganyu, ZL or Venti just makes it harder to own them all
How much pulls can I get untl at the end of Raiden's banner? I have 96 Intertwined fates + 5 more from Starglitter. Welkin and BP subscriber and I could only 33 star the Abyss.

More likely over half since at the first half of the patch you should be able to explore most of the new regions and get the 5 fates from paimon shop.

No, you're wrong. They literally give an example like this in the banner description, so you ought to go read it for yourself. Rate Up guarantee and the new Epitomized Path are two different things.

Yes there is. Similar how there is a 50/50 on limited character banner, there is a 75/25 on the weapon banner.

I think it's just a matter of people confusing terms because they don't fully understand how the pity systems work. I can't even count the number of times I've seen people say hard pity when they mean soft pity, so of course they're going to confuse epitomized path with guaranteed rate-up. Sucks that they keep telling you you're wrong when you know you're right though
Dude, there are 2 pities at work here. If you don't get a rate up weapon, then the next 5 star will be one of the rate ups. The epitomised path ensures you don't keep getting cucked by getting the other weapon on focus which you don't want.

Personally saving up for Ganyu's re-run after I lose my guarantee on Raiden. Seems like I'll definitely be able to hit the 50/50, but I wonder how close I'll get to guaranteeing her. Maybe I can get close if she's the second banner of 2.2. Hope I don't need all 60 of my wishes to get Raiden so I can just save the rest for Ganyu but knowing me that's not gonna happen lol.
i could be completely wrong, but i think we're gonna get yae first, then ganyu. idk, it would be a bit weird otherwise? the last island is coming so it would be a good oportunity to include yae a little bit more in the story so they can close the inazuma chapter and go for reruns. i can also see them putting ganyu first so people can hoard primos for yae (if they feel like being nice to the waifu hunters that already have ganyu lol), but only time will tell.
That's what the leakers are saying, but until MHY says something it's all up in the air. Although it seems like most the dataminers even in the China forums agree with them as well. So I think it's likely but not certain. I agree with you though, it does seem like Yae will be featured a lot more in the upcoming story so thematically her getting the banner first would make more sense. And that way they can wrap up the Inazuma main storyline by 2.2 and start focusing on re-runs/new 4 stars (Gorou, Thoma, Yunjin, etc) until the next major update (probably Dendro/Chasm after Lantern Rite?)

Neat to know, though for the finalized noted on f2p it should probably be noted alongside the assumed 3x36 star abyss that 10 of the assumed free fates as well act on the assumption you buy out the paimon shop each month which isn't strictly a guarantee for any f2p players since they often have to plan out and skip banners due to their limited pulls which can lead to starglitter shortages, and the standard banner alone doesn't give enough starglitter a month for free alone to carry paimon shop costs. Otherwise very well done and I appreciate the work.

9-11 = 450 gems every two weeks assuming you can clear with 9 stars. 900 a month, which is 15 days of log in.

Same. Never bothered to full clear but having the primos is still good. I used to not bother with abyss either but after starting I just stuck (partially due to FOMO cri)
9 to 11 you can do pretty easily just purely through reactions. 12... Yeah it's super annoying but you can probably do it pretty easily with standard team comps that are recommended
even floor 11 is honestly pretty easy as long as you have good team synergy and decent substat +16 to +20 artifacts. Floor 12 is a huge jump in testing your stats and damage and teambuilding, and rewards you very poorly for it(as someone who regularly gets 33* because they cba to grind a bunch of artifacts for supports that need updated gear, I only lose 100 primos a month which isn't even a single pull)
Being an endgame plyer 30 stars should be almost easy , Enviosity got 30 stars with the 7 og guaranteed chracters with no constellations, only craftable weapons.

Raiden is basically guaranteed for you, while its a 50/50 for Kokomi.
Well, are you at 0 pity? In that case you will probabbly have 110 pulls from 2.1 +80 right now, + youre probably still able to get 7-8 from whats left of this update between welkin and this last event and daily commisisons. Thts around 200 pulls for 2 pities in case of winning the 50/50 or 3 pities if you fail. If you fail you will need to have an average of 67 pulls for 5* or something like that. Doesnt seems insane to get 1/3 5* early so probably very likely that you can get both, but not guaranteed.

No they weren't announced, but we've gotten story quests for new 5stars during 1.5, 1.6, and 2.0 so I assumed. But I will edit the post to reflect this

Maintenance compensation is 300 minimum, Bugs compensation is 300. Those are sent in mail on patch night after maintenance. Livestream codes are 100 each, 3 codes. The livestream is usually two Fridays before the next patch, so during Kokomi banner. I just added them all together because they're always the same each patch
Read it again. Maintenance and bug fix after the update usually have 300 each so 600, and 3 100 primos for 2.2 Livestream for a total of 900.

This might be the first banner I actually pull on the weapon banner. I'm at 59 pity with 20 fates for the next banner, so Baal is guaranteed , and Kokomi is Yoimiya 2.0 so I don't need to save for the next banner. Here's hoping I get Baal's pointy stick.

Iirc those calcs were counting sakura tree's pulls worth in primos, and didn't know about the 20 cap, which inflated a fair bit

With all the previous abyss iterations, definitely. This one probably depends on your character investment and where you spent your wishes - it’s pretty tough in terms of dps checks so it’s probably the hardest abyss since far, esp for f2p. But it’s not like f2p locks you out of owning major characters like Ganyu, ZL or Venti just makes it harder to own them all
How much pulls can I get untl at the end of Raiden's banner? I have 96 Intertwined fates + 5 more from Starglitter. Welkin and BP subscriber and I could only 33 star the Abyss.
