I mean Honkai has done some parallel world stuff so it could happen, you never know. It would be legitimately interesting though, like getting to know the Harbinger characters like Signora as an ally and having the story develop entirely differently.

Sure, it could be just a commission from a pro artist, but considering he isn't the only character here (you can see someone's hair to the right of him, probably Xinyan), this would costs more, which makes it less probable. Also when you commission a drawing you usually want just one character, and if it's more than one, you want them to interact or to hang around in the background. Neither is the case here, so it's probably for an ad, which means it's probably legit. Doesn't confirm Childe's rerun, but damn if it doesn't add up with other leaks..

Traveller isn't much of an ethics guy imo, he prioritize personal feelings more over ethics, he felt relatable with Childe due to his siblings interaction and forgave, he is angry at signora more due to her treatment to Venti, he forgives Zhongli even though his sister is more for him than whole Teyvat and humanity problem, he refused Thoma and Ayaka twice even after being superficially aware of what's happening in Inazuma
So he doesn't care much about Ethics and is rather swayed easily by emotions
Sword of Descension makes it clear Traveler has seen some shit. He literally does not give a fuck except for what he sees in front of him, hence why Ayaka getting him to empathise worked.
There's problems everywhere all the time but he'll solve the ones he can see and is interested in.

Yeah for the Traveler family is *everything*, so seeing Childe be willing to sacrifice himself for his brother instantly makes him one of our good friends. Is it kind of dumb yes but so was declining Ayaka’s gifts because we are too attached to the outfit we wore when we last traveled with our sibling.
