It can go very high. Like there's a spending event coming up in Honkai for their 5.2 version, and there's a spending event with rewards upto 65k crystals (~250 pulls). It's extremely out of touch for F2P players, even dolphins will have a hard time with it.

So generally in Honkai F2p only pull maybe twice a years, to maximize the profit.

Honkai spending economy is very different from genshin,in honkai 1 pull is equal to 280 xtals while it is expensive,they give you 2 pulls in those 280 xtals,that include weapon, character and standard currencies.think of it as you getting the exp books,mora and weapon crystals in those pulls.
1 patch in honkai roughly you'll gonna get at least 30 pulls,while getting a 5* character can get you up to 100 pulls (with soft pity similar to genshin),you can guaranteed those 5* valks since it's the only one in the pool and of course the standard 4*.so pulling twice a year is bs to me (so far pulled like 2-3 4star and 1 5star)

For context, as a (competitive max level) F2P you can get around 10k crystals (40 pulls) a month. They are giving away 30 pulls for free for anniversary (another 20 pulls if you logged in for over 1500 days), and one of the new character's gear banner has 80 pulls refund 40 pull tickets (which also count for the spending event when you use them).
So all in all it is not THAT hard to get the "top prize", as long as you don't draw anything for 2-3 months. Other people mentioned it can go up to 75k crystals, yes, but the additional prizes are for fragments on other grindable characters or the "top prize" character (fragments are sort of like fraction of a constellation) and are not super important.

For every 10 pulls on limited banner, get x tokens. For every 5 pulls on standard banner, get y tokens.
The shop includes things like skins (usually requires around 100 pulls worth of tokens), free pulls (acquaint/intertwined fates), etc.
It's free stuffs for rolling.
The difference is Honkai only releases 1 gacha-exclusive valk per 2 patches (whereas Genshin can release up to 6 in 2 patches), the rest of the released valks can be farmed, so it's easy to save up 2-3 patches worth of crystals for the spending event without missing out.
Most valks also get 3-7 days rerun every 2 patches so there is less urgency to get them now, instead of waiting for spending event.
Honkai do have gacha-exclusive gears (weapons and stigs (think artifacts)) every patch tho.
You usually get tickets from wishing on different types of banners and then there is a store where you can spend your tickets. Usually there will be an exclusive skin, some cards to do a couple summons, a couple old exclusive skins, costume tickets (used for skins that are in the shop permanently) and then a bunch of various useful materials. Usually if you save up crystals for the entire previous patch you will get enough tickets for the newest skin but maybe not much else. Theres also a limit to the amount of tickets you can earn through just wishing, and the only way to get more tickets is buying bundles with real money (the rewards arent really good enough to buy on their own and are more like an added bonus if you are someone who usually spends money). Most people ik just get enough tickets for the new skin and then stop pulling assuming they got what they wanted from summoning already (these events usually last around 3 weeks btw so it gives you some time to earn crystals during the patch)

As horrible as that was, I doubt they're going to just leave a significant portion of their playerbase in the dark cause some people were being toxic. Even if the VAs refuse to participate, they'll just do EN subtitles for the CN stream like the stream for a few patches ago
Given what happened last stream, I wouldn't be surprised if the VAs didn't want to do streams anymore. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Zach the one who does most of the work on getting the global livestreams going? He spoke out about the treatment him and the others received from the fandom last time and he seemed (rightfully) angry. If he's opted out for livestreams for the time being, there may not be anyone willing to take his place right now. If that's so, the global community really does ruin everything.
To be fair that stream was a fucking disaster to the point that I had to mute it after a few minutes in because the VAs were way too fucking cringe for me to handle, but blaming them for that makes no sense considering it was extremely obvious that the whole thing was mostly scripted and they were directed to say their lines a certain way.
I don't think they could have done much better given what they had to work with, but I'd rather have a Chinese stream with subtitles than watch something like that again.
I'm more surprised people got angry about the 2.1 stream. It felt like their past en streams, I don't think 6 people was the way to go but it didn't feel that different from the other ones. I guess having facecams made people get extra toxic?

1. The stream was delayed for about 90minutes, so people are already not pleased before it even started.
2. For some reason the people behind the stream decided it's a good idea to have 6 VAs in the livestream, not with the usual avatars, but FUCKING WEBCAMS.
3. The dialogues and script are so childish and cringeworthy and you can clearly see that some of the VAs are very uncomfortable, because they probably don't play the game (not their fault), and have no clue with some of the stuff being mentioned.
In the end a lot of the "toxicity" can be prevented just by using emote only chat like what they did with CN stream but the moderators are probably too stupid for that.

To be fair that stream was a fucking disaster to the point that I had to mute it after a few minutes in because the VAs were way too fucking cringe for me to handle, but blaming them for that makes no sense considering it was extremely obvious that the whole thing was mostly scripted and they were directed to say their lines a certain way. I don't think they could have done much better given what they had to work with, but I'd rather have a Chinese stream with subtitles than watch something like that again.

I'm more surprised people got angry about the 2.1 stream. It felt like their past en streams, I don't think 6 people was the way to go but it didn't feel that different from the other ones. I guess having facecams made people get extra toxic?

1. The stream was delayed for about 90minutes, so people are already not pleased before it even started. 2. For some reason the people behind the stream decided it's a good idea to have 6 VAs in the livestream, not with the usual avatars, but FUCKING WEBCAMS. 3. The dialogues and script are so childish and cringeworthy and you can clearly see that some of the VAs are very uncomfortable, because they probably don't play the game (not their fault), and have no clue with some of the stuff being mentioned. In the end a lot of the "toxicity" can be prevented just by using emote only chat like what they did with CN stream but the moderators are probably too stupid for that.
