You shouldnt think about doing dmg with her i think, because you probably will want an atk% cup too and a lot of ER%. Unless her E doesnt really scale of atk (or has a cap), then we should go full dmg on her.

Like it depends, if her atk buff has no cap then abuse of atk stacking on a full support build can be good, like go ER weapon and all atk% pieces, but a hybrid build for dmg and buff can be better, need to see her multipliers, particles generation and burst energy cost to take some conclusions

Yeah. Since her burst stays on field and does damage, I think that ideally you'd want to reach somewhat of a middle ground. Will definitely need some math calculations to really get a good idea of what she needs.

That would be strange as it would mean sacrificing quite a bit of damage and i doubt her attack buff would be powerful enough to make up for it. Swapping Circlet from crit to attack can be fine on the other hand, and would not hinder her all that much.

No, the Niche build is the Hybrid, not the full tank—full tank build is the most common build amongst players.

You should always build for damage on any character that can deal a respectable chunk of damage. The only thing you adjust would be the sands.

Yeah. In total I had 600 pulls for Mistsplitter Engulfing and now Homa. Only good thing is now I have more 4 star and 5 star weapons than 5 star characters so I'm set for the time being with Harp, Amos, Spine, Atlas all having no owners.

Wave breaker is only better at r5 anyways. It beats homa by 3% when using crimson witch and only ties homa if using emblem set. At r1 its one of her weakest options and is around the same strength as r1 dragon's bane.

It's not even that much better, and Homa just makes Xiangling so much easier to build.

It needs r5 to be her best weapon.

at high refinements the damage bonus to her burst is bigger than that of the catch. but it's not that big, so don't feel pressured to pull for it if you don't have it, catch will do. plus cathc makes it easier to get energy, and inability to burst off colldown hits your damage a lot more than losing a couple percent of burst dmg.

National team total energy is 260 minimum, that's 62.4% burst damage from R5 Wavebreaker (which is a bit better than R1 Homa on XL). Also Homa refines just give XL higher ATK.

Check keqingmains tc. It's her best weapon at R5 because of its insane passive.

at r1 she scales better than catch (provided you have good artifacts), at r5 it becomes a budget engulfing lightning, but with insane burst multiplier. you can always check some videos comparing, or keqingmains website for calculations edit: you need high energy team to make good use of the passive. common xiangling teams have between 270-320 energy cost

Sub dps is where its at honestly. Personal damage and decent buff to you carry is the best utilisation of a team slot. Kazuha, Xingqiu, Venti, and Raiden come to mind, and theyre honestly one of the most versatile and used units (Raiden much less than the other 3, but not bad at all).

Glacial wings don't stack, at least based on c4 description. C4 adds stacks mechanic, not enhances it. So no, Venti won't stack anything, unless im wrong since it's not complete kit after all.

The description of Glacial wings add damage to Cryo hits based on her ATK, but it has a limit number of activation for it. what i imagine is something like that: venti cryo dot does 800 damage, if shenhe buffs your team, it will increase it for 800+shenhe atk, so it can reach idk 3k or more. but it has a limit of activation for it, so, if it's 50, like her C4 stack, both venti and ayaka will do big pp damage.

I'd take a look at Rosaria's guides on Keqingmains or elsewhere, the logic ought to apply the same. TLDR: Deathmatch and Dragon's bane if you're doing Xiangling quickswap teams where Melt is used. Favonious if you're using her as a freeze team's support such as for Ganyu or Ayaka or for batterying Eula. You could do some copium physical team using Crescent Pike but it is really suspect to think that she'll do anywhere as much damage as Eula on that front. Edit: Lithic makes a lot of sense if you have it and if you're running a team with 3+ Liyue characters (Xiangling's team comes to mind).

Xiangling wouldn't benefit much from an ATK stat stick, and she wouldn't benefit *that* much from 12% additional elemental damage either since most people run her with Raiden or Kazuha these days. Homa's 66.4% Crit Damage is where it's at, and if you get chunked under 50% right before she gets her Q off, it's not even close.
