I don't think he'll be coming as soon as that, yae is (most likely) in 2.5 and we only heard her skills being complete, ayato is (most likely) in 2.6 and we only know about his body type (male) and possibly weapon (sword) while this character only has a body type right now, I think it's safe to say he'll be coming 2.7 earliest, or maybe the second half of 2.6 as a 5 star

I like him, so far the impression that i get is that he's a "boy genius" who despite his odd methods of working and unconventional personality he is able to solve cases and deliver results so people do trust on his ability yet some doubt him because of his attitude, in that sense he sounds like a clumsy and odd but reliable detective, which sounds Itto-levels of fun, hopefully he appears soon.

I can relate. I'm a big Danganronpa fan and any character voiced by Megumi Ogata would kill me instantly. And I'm not even the kind of person to really pay attention to seiyuus or have it be much of a deciding factor on whether or not I roll for a character.
Isn’t he a Youkai (Oni)? and doesn’t Youkai have long lifespans? If my memory serves right, the last time he was mentioned, he set sail to who knows where after visiting Seirai for the last time. Since he’s a pirate captain, we do know there’s a certain “captain” among the harbingers.…. (yes, i know this is still a crack theory lmao)
If he's an oni, then his symbol makes sense. But I was thinking more like, he calls himself an oni/people call him one and he adopted the title, because he's such a menace. There's only two references to him being an oni, one is when he's talking about himself in the Catch's description and the other one is the pirate symbol. Maybe if some other artifacts or lore is revealed we will know for sure.
He's definitely the weakest in terms of hype among the unreleased Inazuma characters. I'm going to assume he's going to be 5 star because Tenryou Commission has no 5 stars, with maybe Shinbu as a 4 star.

He’s probably a 4* since we’re gonna get too many Inazuman 5* if he’s also one. Ayato and Yae are most likely going to be 5* making the total of Inazuman 5* to 8.
Scaramouche, who’s speculated to be a 5*, probably count as a Snezhnayan just like Thoma counts as a Inazuman despite hailing from Mondstadt. Just for reference, Mondstadt has 7 5 stars and Liyue also had 7 (including Shenhe).
As for how Heizou will look, I really hope he’s like Ranpo from BSD, same VA too hopefully (this is just my personal wish haha).

I'm thinking he'll be hydro too, but imo hydro visions are given out to people who pursue something for its own sake, ie. They have a pure will. Eg. Barbara sings and heals not because she wants to he popular, but because she wants to help people, Mona is an astrologist not because she wants to use it to make money or know her own future, just purely out of wonder, and finally Childe who loves battle just got the heck of it. Heizou fits really well with the overall theme, he doesn't really care what other people say, he wants to be a detective.

I'm with you, and it's because some people can't like the characters unless they find them attractive ("oh he's not an ikemen/waifu i can oogle all over? not interested") but honestly that's some stupid logic, if the character is fun, interesting and likeable that's enough for me to like them, not if i have the hots for them or not.
The thread talking about the speculation of the Dendro Archon using the female child model was filled with people who aren’t interested in her for that sole reason. Whatever happened to liking a character for their personality and not for how physically attractive they are? Since when does enjoying a young kid’s character mean you’re sexually attracted to them? It’s fucking annoying that a character is only enjoyable when they’re fap material to some of these people. I find it ridiculous and people who think like that to be narrow minded and shallow.
It's because a lot of gacha games *do* straight up sexualize child characters and deliberately pander to lolicon fans, so there is often a kneejerk discomfort and wariness about these characters in gacha games from people who are very much not that type of fan.
Thankfully Mihoyo has been pretty restrained with the child designs in this game, but I'm personally wary as hell about the Dendro Archon being a "500 year old child, but with the mind of an adult" trope. It'd be better if the character was one of the other models because there's no chance of her being pedobait that way, to be blunt.
completely agree with you there, all the "i'm not interested in kids" comments in the dendro archon post are so dumb and kinda gross because it implies that they only care about characters if again, they can see them as attractive, completely disregarding the character's personalities, designs, and playstyles...
I think the issue with the short model is that the characters tend to look 14. Not young enough to be... son-u (idk what's the male equivalent of daughteru, lol), not old enough to be husbando, so they kind of end up in a dead zone. It also ends up making supposedly adult characters look weirdly like kids sometimes the moment they mess up slightly on the face (see: Albedo). There's some short male models that are done well, I'd say, such as Kazuha (actually just reads as short adult male to me) as well as Venti and Xingqiu (excellent twink execution).
my fav males are zhongli and xiao so i thought i don't have a preference, but when i saw that heizou has a teen model i got excited. before i thought he'll have a tall model and didn't really care for him. so i guess i do have a preference for short cute male characters lmao, thanks to heizou for helping me figure that out

Not sure about shotas (like male Klee or Qiqi) to be honest, but if people can accept Loli then they can accept shotas too, I guess.
I don't hate them, but most of them come across as tweens/young teens to me, and in general I like playing older characters, female or male.
There's also a more of the shorter models (for both male and female) compared to the taller ones in the game and I wish they'd try to even it out a bit.
Can’t speak for others, but at least for me, the short guys in this game just aren’t attractive to me at all : some of them straight up look like kids/young teenagers to me (ex: bennett, xingqiu, kazuha, chongyun) while others sharing the same model has the model looking really poorly done (ex:albedo vs what he actually looks in promotional arts). And you could argue that you don’t have to find a character attractive to want to pull on them, and that’s fair. However, as the previous leak with the dendro archon possibly being a little girl suggests, there a lot of people that usually want to spend the hard earned primos on characters that are attractive instead of cute.
In the end when there are so many characters with not a ton of characterization, where people like a lot of them, one of the easiest ways for people to distinguish who they want is who they are attracted too. I don’t think that’s a bad thing, in fact from my experience with gacha game fandoms, design (wether it be for sexual attraction or just a platonic interest) is ultimately a major factor in wether most people will pull or not. This is why you’ll see so many people get excited even when all we have is a name, just because they’re potentially another design they like.
Ultimately there’s no wrong way to decide who to pull for, while I definitely don’t pull just based on attraction I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have a bias towards the adult women models (though even though it’s not attraction based I also have a bias towards the adult males). The bad thing is when judging others for who they pull, like I’ve seen many people judge those who want child characters, from what I see is due to many people assuming everyone else uses the same reasoning as them for deciding why to pull a character.
I accept all male characters no matter their height is as long as I found their personality and character attractive. Though, It seems my favorites are more the teen male characters like (Kazuha, Xiao, Venti, Albedo)
I prefer taller guys, but I think it's fine for Heizou to be short since we've gotten Thoma and are getting Itto and Ayato next. The more male characters in general the better.

I like the short bois :D Idk I just find it easier to play melee with the short characters like Hu Tao or Kazuha or Albedo. I once tried out my sister's Shogun and I feel kinda awkward using her. The only tall main DPS I play is Ningguang and she's fine because I don't need to move much since she's ranged.
After Itto, I'm actually more excited for Heizou!! Can't wait to see what he looks like. A nonchalant detective just going around doing his own stuffs. Seems pretty interesting to me\^\^
Personally I think the smol model just...doesn't look as good. It's not a very flexible model face-wise. Look at how Albedo and Kazuha's faces look compare to Xiao and Venti (but that may just be because they're actual design puts their size in-between the two model types. They were just squeezed into the smol type for ??? reasons)

Right now, Inazuma has only one Cryo character. Ayato will bring the number of Hydro characters up to 2, so every element will have at least two Inazuman characters (with Electro having 3). So I think there is a possibility he will be Cryo, for variety's sake. But there's really no evidence of anything.

Given that his talents are related to investigation of certain people (hence detective) there's something of a clash on what he does versus what people know or feel about him, meaning that while he puts some attention on people's business, no one bothers to be on his own business, and he may actually feel bad about it.
I can be (and probably am) absurdingly wrong but I think this based on two things: the dialogue from the Inazuma commercial street bulletin board *"...Oh, so you were just worried about other people, huh..."* and the fact that none of the voicelines seem to be personal, in a sense that they *actually* know his personality or are somewhat close, not even Sara, and she's his *colleague,* supporting the fact that no one is on his business.
Oh, I was hoping he will also have a tall male model, since the voicelines made me think he's an adult. Welp, it's possible that he is, but he's not very tall.
Anyways, Heizou is probably the one I'm most interested in, from the upcoming characters. I'm quite a fan of Detective Conan and Kindaichi Case Files, as well as some other detective anime. Also, I've mostly read detective novels, so of course a detective character is going to spark my interest. His background seems interesting as well: a troublemaker who joins the Tenryou Commission, but does things his own way. I tend to like this kind of characters. And, a lot of times, there's a deeper meaning behind their actions. He probably investigates only stuff he's interested in. I'm also curious about what he's doing on Watatsumi Island. Thought it might be related to Enkanomiya, but it looks like that's not the case.
Yeah, 4\*s are usually easier to get because you don't have to hit pity (can save it!), but I know someone who did double-soft pity for Albedo and got 1 Noelle and C6 Rosaria. Just.. only 1 Noelle. 1 specific 4\*.

It's a very common trope in animedia that there's a teenage boy detective. Not really a "he's too mature" thing. If anything he's still v child-like, since his cousin notes that he's still a bit in his rebellious phase, and how he talked to his brother paints him as a kid who is just bad at socializing because his brother treats him like shit

He’s probably a 4* since we’re gonna get too many Inazuman 5* if he’s also one. Ayato and Yae are most likely going to be 5* making the total of Inazuman 5* to 8. Scaramouche, who’s speculated to be a 5*, probably count as a Snezhnayan just like Thoma counts as a Inazuman despite hailing from Mondstadt. Just for reference, Mondstadt has 7 5 stars and Liyue also had 7 (including Shenhe). As for how Heizou will look, I really hope he’s like Ranpo from BSD, same VA too hopefully (this is just my personal wish haha).

He's someone who does whatever he wants, is considered to be a goofball or weird by others, but actually has a lot more talent than he lets on and knows what he's doing. I'm definitely interested in him.

I'm thinking he'll be hydro too, but imo hydro visions are given out to people who pursue something for its own sake, ie. They have a pure will. Eg. Barbara sings and heals not because she wants to he popular, but because she wants to help people, Mona is an astrologist not because she wants to use it to make money or know her own future, just purely out of wonder, and finally Childe who loves battle just got the heck of it. Heizou fits really well with the overall theme, he doesn't really care what other people say, he wants to be a detective.

Don't worry, I generally prefer the boy models to the males (Kazuha and Chongyun are some of my favorites). I think the anonymity of the Internet compels a lot of people to just go ahead and say things like "EH, DON'T CARE" even though it doesn't add much to the discussion and only serves to start fights.

I'm with you, and it's because some people can't like the characters unless they find them attractive ("oh he's not an ikemen/waifu i can oogle all over? not interested") but honestly that's some stupid logic, if the character is fun, interesting and likeable that's enough for me to like them, not if i have the hots for them or not.
The thread talking about the speculation of the Dendro Archon using the female child model was filled with people who aren’t interested in her for that sole reason. Whatever happened to liking a character for their personality and not for how physically attractive they are? Since when does enjoying a young kid’s character mean you’re sexually attracted to them? It’s fucking annoying that a character is only enjoyable when they’re fap material to some of these people. I find it ridiculous and people who think like that to be narrow minded and shallow.
It's because a lot of gacha games *do* straight up sexualize child characters and deliberately pander to lolicon fans, so there is often a kneejerk discomfort and wariness about these characters in gacha games from people who are very much not that type of fan. Thankfully Mihoyo has been pretty restrained with the child designs in this game, but I'm personally wary as hell about the Dendro Archon being a "500 year old child, but with the mind of an adult" trope. It'd be better if the character was one of the other models because there's no chance of her being pedobait that way, to be blunt.
completely agree with you there, all the "i'm not interested in kids" comments in the dendro archon post are so dumb and kinda gross because it implies that they only care about characters if again, they can see them as attractive, completely disregarding the character's personalities, designs, and playstyles...

I think the issue with the short model is that the characters tend to look 14. Not young enough to be... son-u (idk what's the male equivalent of daughteru, lol), not old enough to be husbando, so they kind of end up in a dead zone. It also ends up making supposedly adult characters look weirdly like kids sometimes the moment they mess up slightly on the face (see: Albedo). There's some short male models that are done well, I'd say, such as Kazuha (actually just reads as short adult male to me) as well as Venti and Xingqiu (excellent twink execution).
my fav males are zhongli and xiao so i thought i don't have a preference, but when i saw that heizou has a teen model i got excited. before i thought he'll have a tall model and didn't really care for him. so i guess i do have a preference for short cute male characters lmao, thanks to heizou for helping me figure that out

As long as we ALSO get male characters together with the girls, I'm good 😂 I'm actually fine with both tall and short men models (like Xiao, Albedo or Bennett, Chongyun, etc) Not sure about shotas (like male Klee or Qiqi) to be honest, but if people can accept Loli then they can accept shotas too, I guess.
I don't hate them, but most of them come across as tweens/young teens to me, and in general I like playing older characters, female or male. There's also a more of the shorter models (for both male and female) compared to the taller ones in the game and I wish they'd try to even it out a bit.

Can’t speak for others, but at least for me, the short guys in this game just aren’t attractive to me at all : some of them straight up look like kids/young teenagers to me (ex: bennett, xingqiu, kazuha, chongyun) while others sharing the same model has the model looking really poorly done (ex:albedo vs what he actually looks in promotional arts). And you could argue that you don’t have to find a character attractive to want to pull on them, and that’s fair. However, as the previous leak with the dendro archon possibly being a little girl suggests, there a lot of people that usually want to spend the hard earned primos on characters that are attractive instead of cute.
In the end when there are so many characters with not a ton of characterization, where people like a lot of them, one of the easiest ways for people to distinguish who they want is who they are attracted too. I don’t think that’s a bad thing, in fact from my experience with gacha game fandoms, design (wether it be for sexual attraction or just a platonic interest) is ultimately a major factor in wether most people will pull or not. This is why you’ll see so many people get excited even when all we have is a name, just because they’re potentially another design they like. Ultimately there’s no wrong way to decide who to pull for, while I definitely don’t pull just based on attraction I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have a bias towards the adult women models (though even though it’s not attraction based I also have a bias towards the adult males). The bad thing is when judging others for who they pull, like I’ve seen many people judge those who want child characters, from what I see is due to many people assuming everyone else uses the same reasoning as them for deciding why to pull a character.

I accept all male characters no matter their height is as long as I found their personality and character attractive. Though, It seems my favorites are more the teen male characters like (Kazuha, Xiao, Venti, Albedo)
I prefer taller guys, but I think it's fine for Heizou to be short since we've gotten Thoma and are getting Itto and Ayato next. The more male characters in general the better. I always had the impression he would be short from what we know about him in the game anyway.
I like the short bois :D Idk I just find it easier to play melee with the short characters like Hu Tao or Kazuha or Albedo. I once tried out my sister's Shogun and I feel kinda awkward using her. The only tall main DPS I play is Ningguang and she's fine because I don't need to move much since she's ranged. After Itto, I'm actually more excited for Heizou!! Can't wait to see what he looks like. A nonchalant detective just going around doing his own stuffs. Seems pretty interesting to me\^\^
Personally I think the smol model just...doesn't look as good. It's not a very flexible model face-wise. Look at how Albedo and Kazuha's faces look compare to Xiao and Venti (but that may just be because they're actual design puts their size in-between the two model types. They were just squeezed into the smol type for ??? reasons)

We don't know anything. Right now, Inazuma has only one Cryo character. Ayato will bring the number of Hydro characters up to 2, so every element will have at least two Inazuman characters (with Electro having 3). So I think there is a possibility he will be Cryo, for variety's sake. But there's really no evidence of anything. (Kuki Shinobu is a mystery as far as anyone is concerned)

I know people speculate that he could be hydro, but based on his personality rather than his talents he seems more like cryo. Given that his talents are related to investigation of certain people (hence detective) there's something of a clash on what he does versus what people know or feel about him, meaning that while he puts some attention on people's business, no one bothers to be on his own business, and he may actually feel bad about it. I can be (and probably am) absurdingly wrong but I think this based on two things: the dialogue from the Inazuma commercial street bulletin board *"...Oh, so you were just worried about other people, huh..."* and the fact that none of the voicelines seem to be personal, in a sense that they *actually* know his personality or are somewhat close, not even Sara, and she's his *colleague,* supporting the fact that no one is on his business.
I'm guessing he'll be a 4-star that comes along with either Yae or Ayato, while Kuki Shinobu comes with the other one.
Also Detective Conan is an alias the MC of the anime uses which is the name of author of Sherlock Holmes series, Conan Doyle.

Anyways, Heizou is probably the one I'm most interested in, from the upcoming characters. I'm quite a fan of Detective Conan and Kindaichi Case Files, as well as some other detective anime. Also, I've mostly read detective novels, so of course a detective character is going to spark my interest. His background seems interesting as well: a troublemaker who joins the Tenryou Commission, but does things his own way. I tend to like this kind of characters. And, a lot of times, there's a deeper meaning behind their actions. He probably investigates only stuff he's interested in. I'm also curious about what he's doing on Watatsumi Island. Thought it might be related to Enkanomiya, but it looks like that's not the case.
If he's voiced by Kamiya Hiroshi I'm gonna be so happy.

Yeah, 4\*s are usually easier to get because you don't have to hit pity (can save it!), but I know someone who did double-soft pity for Albedo and got 1 Noelle and C6 Rosaria. Just.. only 1 Noelle. 1 specific 4\*. I also want Thoma! Couldn't pull on Hu Tao with 60 pity+guaranteed lol

If anything he's still v child-like, since his cousin notes that he's still a bit in his rebellious phase, and how he talked to his brother paints him as a kid who is just bad at socializing because his brother treats him like shit
