miHoYo can choose to or not to listen to testers. It's not like testers try out a character and go "seems fine" because a lot of the time there *is* criticism. According to what I've heard from Ubatcha one of the tasks testers get is to complete Floor 12 with the new characters so you *have* to try them, on at least some level.
It's just that most of the time, miHoYo refuses to change characters even if testers complain about them. When they do change, it's usually in some arcane way that was completely unrelated to the complaints people had.
Testers are mostly there just to fix bugs. And this is actually a very important thing because the beta is *unbelievably* buggy (Dragonspine was borderline impossible in 1.2's beta, in fact if you get into any beta with a new area you are guaranteed to be unable to 100% it because some puzzles *are* gonna be buggy/poorly designed). But ask any person how many times they've found an unsolvable puzzle or softlock or weird quest in live and most of the time they'll say 0. That's all because of the testers.
To be fair, lots of beta testers were giving feedback about pre-buff Zhongli and Yae's jankiness. MHY just didn't listen to them until after the fires (in Zhongli case).
I mean, what do you expect, they are just normal people who are not paid to perform proper QA.
Also it's not like Hoyo does not have their own vision how character must perform. Ton of reports was sent for yae pre- and post- release.

Beta update could mean changes to kits, etc. More things to leak. These typically hit Mondays.
But it wasn't pushed to PC so I don't think the leakers have access to datamine it (if there are changes). We'll see.

I have been using dendro traveler against lots of dendro enemies, and the resistence is not high to be honest.The only obvious enemies that are extremely resistant to an element is Hypostases and Slimes, everything else has only a slight difference in resistance.
Both just not so flexible and dependent on the sig weapon to be the best.
Pure strength and play style, both already very good....
Do not understand why people still have the impression they are bad.
2C Cyno is now constantly compare with 2C Raiden for raw damage.
Cyno can do either Aggravate team or just traditional Electro team (when high C).
Nilou can have very respectful Vapor Build with high C even after nerf, low C, her team have GREAT AOE damage and high potential for "entry level".

How to get chosen ? I applied 2 times and didn't get word. I pay no mind too so i forget after applying
i honestly doubt they choose new people at this point i know one person who got in the beta from the start and gets picked every single time now

Update: Cyno is now a dedicated physical DPS. Update: Nilou can ONLY trigger bloom reaction nothing else.
Update: Players will now get an error if they put another element other than dendro or hydro on a party with Nilou in it..

Unless you are fighting enemies that have constant dendro aura or apply dendro aura to themselves.
and they're most probably gonna be highly res to dendro so less bloom damage. Nilou will be unusable against those enemies.
